What do I do, my email says it has the password missing but it won't complete the process and says it has a message error domain?? Please HELP!!!

Thanks for your help! I followed that series of instructions and still can't get it to access . It goes str8 from selecting "other" from the email groups to add a new account, and cancel takes you back to the groups. Its saying I have 50 emails but somehow has me blocked from accessing them...

I have been unable to upgrade for almost a year. The upgrade loads partially, but won't complete.

I'm on Mac OS 10.6.7, computer is about a year and a half old. I think I may have had one successful upgrade very early on, to 3.5.2. If you have problems with updating then easiest is to download the full version and trash the currently installed version to do a clean install of the new version.

TS1398 app store continues to show "loading" but won't complete

Appstore continues to show "loading" and won't complete download. Have checked wi-fi connection and reset settings.

I have a Mac osx, printer is officejet 6600. Trying to setup eprint. so created username, entered email address and password. Then it says I already have an account setup (maybe through snapfish ??? but I don't useit) So I tried the login screen with my email address and "forgot password" option. It then says "please use an email address associated with the account?????

The issue you're experiencing is most likely due to an old Snapfish account registered under your email address. ePrintCenter and Snapfish account information is stored in the same place and I've seen this conflict before. You will need to go to http://www.snapfish.com/snapfish/welcome, click the "Sign In" in the top right hand corner of the page and then click the "forgot password" link and enter the email address that is causing your problems, you should receive an email from Snapfish that will let you create a new password there. Once you've created a new password for Snapfish, try to Sign In on ePrintCenter (http://www.eprintcenter.com/) using your email address and the new password you created for Snapfish.

Email says sent but won't actually deliver - please help!

This is so aggravating. Sorry in advance for the long story:
My work email server has always synced just fine to my iPhone for the past 4 months. Earlier this month my work email stopped sending - it says it's sent and shows up in the sent folder, but it doesn't actually get delivered to the recipient.
I have tried everything I can find. Here's a list:
- Updated iPhone software.
- Updated iTunes software.
- Synced using iTunes. Then synced manually onto the Phone.
- Got the Apple store to patch my iPhone with something called"DFU"? Worked for an hour and then stopped.
- Turned extra SMTP servers on.
- Tried different SMTP servers as primary outgoing server.
- Wiped entire iPhone about 100 times.
- Turned WiFi off. Then tried using only WiFi.
- Tweaked every single configuration - turned off SSL, changed the port number, etc. I've now had two IT departments not be able to figure this out.
- Tried syncing my work email to other iPhones both in my firm and at the Apple store. Both worked fine.
Finally, I swapped my iPhone for a new one (was under warranty and it seemed to be a handset problem). Worked perfect - until today. Then it stopped again. Tried wiping the phone twice. Nothing.
It seems sometimes that being in my apartment (which is cement) is where the problem will start, except then it won't work ANYWHERE after. Plus I can't tell for sure where it happened the first time - whether in my apartment or outside.
HELP! This is so annoying. I'm so tempted to sell my stupid phone and go back to Blackberry but I'm scared that won't work either.

I've tried verifying and repairing the sparsebundle using the Disk Utility program (no improvement) and I've also tried to reset Time Machine (again, no success). What else do I need to try? The access point and printer sharing work fine, so the problem seems to be software-based.
Any suggestions as to what I should try next? I'm a bit out of ideas.

Your data in your iPhone is losing in recovery mode, and it is hard to restore.
It is difficult to say it can recover all your data, but you can only have a try. That is a third iPhone data recovery software.

I had to reload the operating system after a huge crash of my powerbook and put in all the smtp and pop settings (yahoo account) correctly
I can recieve email but can't send
There used to be a server authentication button but I can't find it anywhere to click and go
The message that comes up says the email can't be delivered and it will remain in the outbox until it can, which is nice

Unless your ISP is associated with Yahoo for email access (the email account provided by your ISP includes Yahoo in the email address), it is impossible to access a free Yahoo email account with any email client such as the Mail.app. Yahoo prevents this. You can access a Yahoo Mail Plus or paid account only with an email client such as the Mail.app.

I can't backup my iPhone 5 to iTunes... it starts but won't complete. Please help!

I have the new iPhone 5 with the latest software, and iTunes latest version.
When I try to backup my phone via iTunes, the backup starts, and the progress bar begins to move and then gets stuck at the end. I have waited a long time but it doesn't go any further. I then have to skip the backup in order to Synch.
On iTunes, it says the latest backup is: Unknown. I only have a backup of my last phone before I changed the handset. Very annoying!
I have repeatedly tried to backup and sometimes the progress bar gets almost to the end, but no, it stops. Very frustrating.
The phone synchs OK, but have to skip/cancel backup in order to get to the synch phase.
I tried to restore the phone and start again (restored to the previous backup some time ago, before the new handset) but no, doesn't work.

Close all open apps by double-tapping the home button, then swiping up and off the screen with the app window (not the smaller icon).

More details needed, such as computer and OS. Step one is to restart—hold down the power button until it shuts off, push it again, and hold down the SHIFT key until it starts in Safe Mode. Report back.

FF4: Default email provider changed but won't load

In FF3 I changed my default mailto link to Gmail using Tools>Options>Applications>UseGmail and it worked fine.
Doing the same in FF4, nothing happens. The page just sits there.
I don't often use mailto links, and can always just open Gmail in another tab, but I would still like this flaw resolved please.

I don't have an Internet Explorer icon on my desktop, so I found a tiny one in the system tray. It has no Programs tab. The five tabs on the icon properties are General, Shortcut, Compatibility, Security, Details. Did you mean actually ''open'' the Internet Explorer browser to do this? If so, then I see '''Tools'''>'''Internet Options'''>'''Programs''', but there's no option for Gmail there.
Never mind. I think it's a FF4 specific problem. As I said, it works in FF3, and, having set it up in FF4 it works on right-click, it's just the regular left-click that locks up the tab. I have to press the back or reload button to escape from it.

BB Torch keeps trying to reboot and won't complete

Anyone had this experience and found a solution??
I clicked a link from Drop Box to install application and it immediately shut off my BB Torch and it has been trying to reboot ever since but won't complete reboot. It gets to about 70% on the progress bar and shuts off again repeatedly. Tried hard and soft reboot and it didn't help.

When you get a chance, do a battery pull. When the red light goes away on the front of the phone, hold down the
back button the entire time while the phone is booting up. When the boot is complete, the phone will enter safe
mode.

This has nothing to do with iPhoto. When I have this type of problem I call tech support for my email service. They probably are the only source of the correct settings
