Email pic forwarding problems

Scenario:
I receive email with pictures on my 3Gs
I forward email to my wife's 3Gs, but she doesn't get the pictures
Why? Both phones are 3Gs, both of us use gmail, but it seems that we can't receive picture emails from other iPhones.

I have the same problem. My husband forwards me emails with photos embedded or attached, and they don't show up in the email on my 3Gs.
I have the same problem with the new iPad.
If I go to the Windows Vista desktop, however, they open up with all the photos just fine.
I must have some setting not right on my devices somehow. The phone syncs with a Mac laptop, the iPad with the Windows desktop, so it's not just the one iTunes.
Is there a setting either on the devices or in the iTunes programs that limits or prevents the email pics from opening?

The email recipient was able to view the mail correctly with all the images/graphics, but when he forwarded the email, all the graphics/images in the email was either missing or segmented (a piece of the graphic is in one place in the email and another piece is in a different place in the email).

    this is a problem with the email client of your email recipient, not Mail. if it can not handle emails made using Mail stationery correctly (they are pretty complicated under the hood), there is nothing you can do about it. built in stationery is not customizable and you can not change its programming structure.

    When trying to email pics via Adobe email for the first time, they send you a "code" ( my words ) and ask you to email it back to them so it may be verified.. My problem is that the "code" to my email is never received. Where is it? We've tried checking if there is a blocker on my computer and one of the more promising suggeations from the community, but without success. Good advice on this will be much appreciated. Thank you.

    On some of the forums, similar issues were raised and it came out that ISP (or something similar) was causing some issues in this case. Can you try this scenario (that is sending mail via Adobe mail services) with a Gmail id and check the inbox/spam folder of Gmail for a mail from [email protected]?

    In addition Sathish’s question, there are some else which could be referred to:
    Did the mobile receive/send email?
    Did the issue occur all users or the specific user?
    Did the all iPad not send/receive emails? Or other devices?
    If we use pop3 and imap4, we could make sure the service of pop3 and imap4 are running without any problem.
    In addition, we could check if iPad could sync with Exchange server?

  • I need help with an email WiFi sending problem on my iPad 2

    I’m having an email WiFi sending problem on my iPad 2     Model:  MC774C/A;  IOS VERSION: 6.1.3 (10B329). 
    While I use 4 email accounts on the iPad -- Hotmail, Gmail, iCloud and ns.sympatico.ca ( a division of BellAliant) – the sending difficulty only relates to the ns.sympatico.ca.  The settings for this account are:         pop.bellaliant.net            and      smtp.bellaliant.net
    I first noticed the problem about 3 weeks ago while travelling across the country (Canada).  (I do recall about that time there was an update of my IOS and I also for my wife purchased from the Bell store an iPhone which shares my Apple account.)  Prior to that everything worked well for a couple of years.
    I noticed earlier this month that the iPad received mail fine but would not send at night using the motels’ WiFi.  During the day, using my 3G account, all worked fine.  I phoned Bell but was told that my experience was normal so I thought no more about it until I returned home and found the same problem at the house.  I called Bell again and worked for 2 hours with 3 Bell technicians who succeeded in getting the iPad to neither send nor receive and gave up advising me to take the iPad into a Bell store to have it looked at.  I did that and the young technician got the iPad sending and receiving by changing the        smtp.bellaliant.net      to         mail.1xbell.ca
    However, when I returned home again, I realized that it was working on my 3G and still doesn’t send on my WiFi
    I’m looking for any suggestions that might solve this annoying problem?

    Try this first - Reset the iPad by holding down on the Sleep and Home buttons at the same time for about 10-15 seconds until the Apple Logo appears - ignore the red slider - let go of the buttons. (This is equivalent to rebooting your computer.)
    Or this - Delete the account in Mail and then set it up again. Settings->Mail, Contacts, Calendars -> Accounts   Tap on the Account, then on the red button that says Remove Account.

    On each of the phones you're gonna use a new Apple ID for iCloud: turn off Contacts, Calendars, etc. for iCloud. You'll be prompted to keep the data or delete it from the phone, then turn off iMessage, FaceTime & delete the iCloud account...Settings>iCloud...scroll down...delete account. Then, setup iCloud using the new Apple ID, turn on iMessage & Facetime.
    This will have no affect on the ID you share for iTunes content, & you can continue to do so.

  • How do I get around the email Apple ID problem on iCloud?

    My Primary Apple ID is not an email address. After following Apple's prompts on my iPhone after installing IOS5 I (and I regret this emmensely), created a new ID with my primary email, the same one that is the email linked to my other Apple ID. It allowed me to do this.
    Since iCloud would be fairly unmanageable on my iPhone and Macs with 2 IDs, I'd like to figure out the best way to trick the system to merge all this mess into one account.
    Here's my problem.
    My primary Apple ID is a simple username.
    The email for it is my primary email
    The secondary Apple ID account I created for iCloud is that same email.
    The email for it is that email.
    What I want to do is change my primary Apple ID with the username to the primary email name, in order to make all my iTunes purchases synchable with iCloud.
    I do know that Apple does not allow an ID to be cancelled, so I can't go this route to get rid of the current email one.

    I signed to iCloud using a [email protected] email address as the username. It's the same email address as my primary ID's email.
    The problem is not buying apps or music using the iCloud ID, it's managing them later.
    You'll end up with a big mess of apps and music all over the place. You won't be able to sync to iCloud all the music you have on your primary ID.
    I made the mistake of buying an expensive app using the iCloud ID on my phone, only to not have it be able to sync to my computer, which uses my primary Apple ID. I had to go through Apple to have them void that purchase and buy it again using my primary Apple ID.
    All my issues would have been avoided if Apple had allowed me sign up for iCloud using my current Apple ID.
    It's because of their requirement that the ID username needs to be an email address.

    Log in on iCloud.com and go to Mail. In Mail, at the bottom left you should see a gear icon. Click on it, go to Settings (or Preferences, I'm doing this from memory), and in there you'll find an option to forward your iCloud email to another service.

    Some files cause fast forward problems. Suppose I fast forward to the end of the song. Then I reach the - 00:00.00 marker. HOWEVER, the song goes on and on.     I just upgraded the firmware and it didn't help =(

    Hi,
      I've setup nokia email without any problem using my WiFi and it was synchronizing without a problem. Since then I've I'm unable to change the Access Point to my Mobile provider. I keep getting "Server not found", even though the server name is still properly configured (netac3.vie.hosting.com). Can anyone help?

  • Email new password problem

    I have recently had to change my BT email password because I got hacked.
    I can log into my email online no problem with the new password. I've changed the password, in Windows Live Mail but it only works some of the time. Yesterday all emails were getting through, today it keeps asking for the password - and when I put the new one in it says its not correct.
    I've run BT desktop help and it also says the password is not correct. (it is!!)
    Any ideas?

    I can see your posting now, its in my waiting folder. I have to arrange a trigger for posts with my name on, as there are far too many posts to wade through otherwise
    This is an ongoing issue with POP3 access which is unlikely to be fixed, as Yahoo say that the sevice is working within acceptable limits.
    Personally I use IMAP access via Thunderbird, and so do many others on this forum. That seems to work fine, perhaps you would like to try it as well as Windows live.

    On the other hand: Did you purchase your product from these firms like Amazon? If yes, this is not a serial number, only a code with which you can request a serial number from Adobe.     The following part, so I just see at least, ceased to exist on my Adobe website, everything takes place in the link from above. I leave it as an info yet, it might still fit for you. For this purpose, please click your way through to your Adobe Store and find the button "Get Serial Number". Fill in the form and after a while you will get the real serial number.

    I would just explain that this just started happening, that nothing has changed on the phone, that it is an original iPhone and I wondered if they are implementing a change in coverage with their Edge network in my area.
    If you restore your phone, you will be given an option to back up your phone at the beginning of the process (see step 6 here: http://support.apple.com/kb/HT1414).  You will be given the option to restore to that backup at the end of the restore process.  Your messages are stored in the backup so restoring to the backup will return the messages to your phone.  Be sure to import your photos and videos to your computer (see http://support.apple.com/kb/HT4083) and back up your contacts somewhere before restoring your phone as these sometimesget lost in the restore process.

    For some reason when I email pics I took with my Blackberry camera to several different email addresses, the files cannot be opened. I get an error message stating "unsupported or incorrect file type" in all windows photo apps.  The files all have .jpg extensions but won't open.

    When you register the host routing table that should send any missing service books to your phone. Also on your carrier's BIS website there should be a "Send Service Books" button you can hit to send them to your phone. If doing those don't work your carrier should be able to push them to your device from their end
