EMAIL PROBLEMS - HELP & THANKS!
I just turned off my iPhone 4 - I usually leave it on 24/7, but I was having a problem (read on) so thought maybe if I turned on/off, that would help. Here's the issue: Starting last night, when I read my email in preview mode, I see the first 5 lines of the email, but when I open the email, all it shows it who it's from and who it was sent to, and there's no text to read in the body of the email, which there definitely is, as I see it in the preview. Now that I turned OFF my phone, when I press the MAIL icon, absolutely nothing shows up - just a white screen, even though the mail icon shows I have new mail. HELP & THX!
1)From the home screen double press the home button. This will reveal the multitasking slider, showing you all open apps
2)Press and hold one of the icons until they start to wobble and a minus symbol appears
3)Tap on the minus symbol to close the email app. You can repeat this with any other open apps
4)Press the home button again to go back to the home screen
5)Tap the email icon again and your emails should now be back to normal.

I synced my iphone 3Gs with my outlook calender today, and ever since then my frontier email (which is set up through an exchange email account..) isnt working. it says that there is no password and i repeatedly put the password in and it doesnt work. it wont retrieve any new or old emails. i have deleted and started the process of opening a new account just to make sure i have it all correct and it still wont do it. i would really appreciate the help, since im trying to plan my wedding its important that i have my email working lol. thanks.

E71 Email Problems, Help Please!?
Hiya, I changed ISP, and therefore had to change my email settings on my E71, I removed the old mailbox (plusnet) and entered the new details (BT Yahoo), When I restarted the phone it threw a complete "wobbler", (active screen went blank, phone acted very strangely. Anyway, where I am now, The phone seems to have sorted itself out, I have removed and reinstalled the nokia email client and the phone is downloading about half of the emails in my inbox and the whole email client runs really really slowly if at all? Sorry to whaffle, does this make any sense, I can assume the email settings are correct of I wouldn't be recieving anything?
To paraphrase my issue, The email client is only downloading a few emails and is running very slowly, mail box takes about 1-2 minute to open? Help!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
Thanks in advance, Pete xa "soft reset" seems to have gone 99% of the way to curing the problems I was having, but thanks for suggesting that, it saved me hours trawling the web looking for the solution myself.

Iphone and email problems - help please!
I have a few questions about email on the iphone I wondered if someone could help me with?
1. If I check my email at home on wifi everything is fine, I can recieve and send emails no problem. If I am outside and using GPRS ( Not found an EDGE signal yet ) I can recieve emails but when I try and send one it tells me it cannot find the outgoing server after trying to send the email for a few minutes.
2. Sometimes I open my email and its fine but when I go back and try and open an email I have previously read it says "This message has not been dowloaded from the server". How do I get the email to stay there?

In sort, even once you view it, it will not remain in the Inbox for ever...it will attempt to redownload if accessed later. -
Nokia x6 email problems - Help!!
Help please. I have had my nokia x6 for a few months & recently had problems with text messages. That has now been sorted with doing software updates. However now, with the nokia emails, they keep coming in time & time again. I open them, have even deleted them & then back they come - between 20 -60 at a time. It's really infuriating. Any advice anyone...pleaseeeee??
yes it was down to yahoo i just used there online live chat to fix it ,it was a pain getting the mails .check out tiscali website and see if they can help .

So I've had my Pearl for about a month now and I still haven't been able to set up my e-mail. I have tried it every which way and it says it cannot connect to the server. Any idea what I'm doing wrong? Also, when I try to log on the BlackBerry website with my PIN and my IMEI it says an account for the pin has already been created. If so, you MUST contact the previous owner and have them remove the PIN from their earlier account. You might call the carrier yourself, and explain you purchased it used. However they do not have to do it for you, so be nice.

AOL (like other Mail providers) occasionally has server problems (I use AOL mail and it happens to me once in awhile).
However, if it does not clear up after a bit, open Mail. Click on Window>connection doctor. There should be indications of what is wrong.

this is all greek to me. WHAT IS STARTTLS? On the first page of Apple set up there is a TLS certificate and it is marked NONE- should I change it to the long APPLE CERT option? The next page under ADVANCED: THERE IS A BOX SSL MARKED. Then IMAP Path Prefix - I put stmp.gmail.com.. is that right? Port 993 can use this one? as 456 doesn't work and 587 said it wasn't safe. Under AUTHENTICATION I used PASSWORD. Should I have used external client cert TLS?

Have you charged ipad Try a Reboot press & hold power button & menu button hold both down until you see Apple Logo You may need to do this more than once. Bsydd uk

Hi, I'm unable to use my speaker when I'm using Mac OS, which means I'm unable to unmute, decrease or increase the volume. However, I'm able to do so for Windows 7 OS on Bootcamp. Can anyone please advise on how to rectify this problem? I would greatly appreciate your help, thank you.

MacBook Pro (15-inch, Late 2011) It turns on for less than 60 sec thens shutsoff by itself, it won't load to recovery hd partition, won't load to mac OS and already replaced with new MLB, but the problem still persist.. able to run ASD EFI but ASD OS wont work.please help thanks in advance
Holy crap, I got it to work.
Essentially, I just waited until DiskWarrior reached Step 9 and told it to skip the step before it had a chance to freeze. It skipped successfully, moved on, rebuilt and replaced the faulty directory files.
So far the computer is booting like normal, I can log in, and I'm currently copying all of the data to an external as I type this.
I still have no idea why the computer wouldn't mount or boot to any drive, but I guess I'll deal with that later. -

I created an alias email address, now i deleted these and wanted to create a new normal email address with that address that i deleted, but it says eMail address is already used.. how long it needs to delete the alias or what else is the problem? Thanks;)
