How can I find out if there is any email profile existing in the business role of the user?
Is there any FM for this?

    I can't find any transaction where I can assign the business transaction profile to the business role itself. Basically I have created a business transaction profile (with many dependent transactions) and I want to assign this to my Zbusiness role, but I dont know where this can be done.

    Thank you for your reply. My scenario is that i have 5 different types of service orders SO1,SO2, SO3,SO4,SO5.All of these have to be created from a service contract (there is an enhancement in place for copy control from service contract to service order). But if I want all these service orders to be seen on the IC webclient screen with their relevant status,date profile and partner determination procedure then do I need to assign these service orders as dependent transactions on the business transaction profile?
    I understand that for one business transaction profile only one dependent transaction can be set as 'service relevant' (radio button).
    Kindly reply as I am completely new to the IC world.

  • Navigation Bar Profile - Copying business role SalesPro

    Dear all,
    i am on CRM 7.0 and i have to create a business role copying the standard one SalesPro. Easy.
    Therefore, i want to create a navigation bar profile ZSales pro copying the one already used SLS-PRO for the standard one. But when i make the copy, the system requires an entry in the field Action Object for the entry Object Type: BP_ACCOUNT_CHM, Object Action: "empty in standard", target id: MD_BP_OV and highligth: MD_BP_SR where it is blank in standard !!!
    The copy then is not fully done and i cannot create an entry with empty field, how can i manage this, please ?

    Refer to this thread Error inNavigation bar creation.
    Similarly you can skip those entries for the time being and later maintain it again if needed for dynamic navigation.

    Hi Mary,
    There is no direct table but there is a way to find it.
    HRP1263 is the table where business roles are stored when maintained at org level. These are stored against the Position.
    For getting user ID and position linkage refer table HRP1001.
    In HRP1001 table use below criteria to get the User and Position.
    OTYPE = CP
    SCLAS = US
    SOBID = User ID
    ENDDA = 31.12.9999
    Get the OBJID
    Query the HRP1001 table again with following
    OTYPE = CP
    OBJID = OBJID from above Query
    ENDDA = 31.12.9999
    SCLAS = S
    SOBID = Thats Position.
    Pass the position to HRP1263 as below.
    OTYPE = S
    OBJID = POSITION
    PROFILE - Thats business role assigned for the given position and user.

    When I try to log in into DETECTIVE role ,I got issue "Security settings are not maintained, contact your system administrator" .
    I have SAP_ALL access and I copied the pfcg role which is assigned to business role and provided full authorization for all auth objects.
    Can you please assist by providing the key to access detective role in web ui.

  • Issue regarding Business Role assignment

    1.
    I have a user Agent1 which is assigned to position POS_IC_AGENT in my org structure.
    In the infotype Business Role I have assigned IC_AGENT (standard) business role.
    IC_AGENT has PFCG role SAP_CRM_UIU_IC_AGENT assigned to it.
    But, when I run the application (for my user Agent1), only telephony buttons are visible on top, navigation bar and work area is empty (nothing is visible there)
    2.
    Now, when I open my user Agent1 in SU01 and assign PFCG role SAP_CRM_UIU_IC_AGENT.
    Now when I run the application everything is visible (telephony, navigation bar and workarea).
    Why is it not visible in first case?
    I think it should work without assigning Role in SU01.. I mean it should have taken settings from Org. structure

    Hi Ashish,
    As far as work center page context is concerned , its decided by the navigation bar profile and business role customizations ( we add work center home and several related stuff etc in navigation bar profile and make them activate/deactivate, visible/invisible through business role customizing ) .
    PFCG role has nothing to do with what you see on the Work Center...it decides whether you can see or not..meaning whether you have authorization for disply of a business object and its related subobjects.
    PFCG role basically determines the authorization objects that will be grated to the particular business role ( to which this PFCG role is linked ) PFCG is about CREATE/CHANGE/DELETE authorizations.
    In first case, its business role linked authorizations. You dont see the work centers may be because USER has not granted the DISPLAY authorization for the business Object related to BP( i.e Account ) , or BO related to account search (BUPASEARCH ) as the IC agent home basically has Account identification home , or account search home...which overrides the PFCG authorizations attached to the business role.
    Remember, individual object authorizations set for a user using transaction PFCG will have more priority over the Business role linked authorizations as 1 business role can be assigned to many users however if one user is not grated to see BP related data, this will still remain enforced even though the business Role PFCG is granting him to see...There is a difference between user specific authorizations and Business Role specific authorization...
    In second case,its user linked Authorizations. When you add the PFCG role in SU01, this is being the User Specific Authorizations which will always have the priority and thus granting the display.
    This is my basic understanding. I am 100% sure that PFCG role only controls the DISPLAY/CREATE/CHANGE related authorizations and lots more in context of authorizations. However what to include & show is decided by Navigation Profile and Business Role customizations.
    If everything is intact in navigation bar profile and business role customizations, and still you dont see anything on the work center, then i am 100% sure that its related to User Authorizations
    Refer pg 56 in CR580, it will clear your doubt.

  • Business Role, Technical Profile, Application, Start Page in UI for service

    Hi CRM 2007 gurus,
    I have made all the settings in accordance with C04 to use the UI for the services role (copy of business role SERVICEPRO). Created the relevant PFCG role and a position in the org model; with a user and the business role assigned to the position. But I am getting an empty page on login.
    Then I changed the technical profile from DEFAULT to DEFAULT_IC; then it started giving an error "Permission denied".
    I then changed the start application to CRM_UI_FRAME and the start page to DEFAULT.HTM; then Internet Explorer started exiting on its own after the login.
    Can someone pls tell me what is amiss. Do I need to include some specific application and page as the "Startup Application" and "Start Page" in the technical profile (these are currently blank for the technical profile DEFAULT attached to the concerned business role).
    Points to be won; kindly help asap.

    Hi Deepak,
    few cents that might help:
    - Your problem is definitely not related to authorization issues. (easily derived by the nature of the error message and the point where it occurs (CL_BSP_WD_STREAM_LOADER))
    - The error message you received is being raised when CRM UI runtime tries to load a runtime repository. In case a runtime repository of a component has dynamic parts (e.g. the shell part itself), the repository is being loaded by the system via HTTP or HTTPS, depending on system settings. This results in the system sending a HTTP(S) request to itself.
    Now, there are two likely reasons for this going wrong:
    a) the system cannot "see" itself on the network (hosts problem, reverse proxy sceanrios, etc.)
    b) the runtime repository doesn't exist at all (ressource doesn't exist). This sometimes happens if component enhancements are active in a client (customizing settings) but the respective enhancement component (development objects) haven't made it into the system.
    c) In your case we can rule out this one: the SICF service for the UI component is not active - in that case the response would likely have been something like "Access forbidden" and you confirmed already all SICF services being active
    To get more clarity, you might want to proceed as follows:
    - Set a breakpoint in the line mentioned in the error message. You can access the source code of the releavant method using SE38 even though the include name looks pretty scary in the message (CL_BSP_WD_STREAM_LOADER=======CM02 or so).
    - In the debugger, check the name of the URL that had been tried to access (The variable should be available some lines above the breakpoint where the request gets sent).
    - try to access the same URL directly from your browser.
    Now, if you still don't get a valid response, b) might be the case. If you get an XML file back, a) might be the case.

  • Setting personalization via profile parameter in the business role vs su01 personalization

    We are trying to have the personalization for a user on login determined by the business role they choose (if they have more than one) via the profile parameter in the business role.
    Setting the personalization this way doesn't seem to get picked up for the user, any experience with this issue?

    Hi Curtis,
    In CRM, users can personalize their screens by logging in to web client by selecting the business roles.
    Once they are in to the business role they can able to see "Personalize" option on right hand side top corner. If they click that option they can able to modify their own data (personal information), Lay out, Settings, Groupware integration and Favorites modifications as well.

    I want to see all the work center available in service pro role and interaction center role profiles in a single Z business role prfole on the WEB UI.
    Please advise me the possibilities of the integration of multiple business role profiles in a single Z role profile(Example like Administratoru2019s profile).
    If it is possible what would be the approach please suggest me.

    Copy one of this 2 roles which you want to use in Z role and then manualy assign additional workcenters and links to this Z role which you are still missing.
    There is no standard predelivered admin role which would have all workcenters.

  • Business Role assignment now working as Expected

    Hi All,
    We have a User A, B and C , all these users have Business Role X, when these users were logging in they were gettings screens as per the configuration.
    However now all of sudden Only User A ,though still has same Business Role X , is getting different Work centers,Logical links Mostly standard(Claim management, worklist, calendar,Email Inbox) .
    User B and C who have the same business role are getting correct UI screens.
    We are unable to find what went wrong all of sudden.

    Chandu,
    If the CRM_UI_PROFILE is set to some UI Profile, this takes more priority(than the UI Profile assigned to the Business Role)
    and shows the Navigation Bar and Work Centre configured for this UI Profile.
    The normal Business Role configs wont work at that time.
    Remove this entry and see, it will solve the issue.

  • Outbound E-Mail templates in a non-IC_AGENT Business Role

    Hi,
    Does anybody have experience of using outbound email templates in the CRM 2007 Web UI?  Specifically with a non-IC_AGENT Business Role as the email editor in the Web UI is different to the IC_AGENT Business Role email editor.  I am using a standard Grantor Business Role (CRMGRMPRGMAN) and therefore cannot select mailforms in the "Std Response" field used in the email editor of the IC_AGENT Business Role. 
    I have seen that when I create an Activity of type 'Outgoing E-Mail' that there is a "Default Text" field in email editor.  Is this where I would select an email template?  Can you please enlighten me as to how to create the templates and make them available in the email editor of an non-IC_AGENT Business Role?

    Hello Onkar,
    (a) Email Editor is IC_AGENT has more advanced features compared to Email Create in NON IC_AGENT Business Role. One of the features being the Standard Response Group. Basically, Standard Response Group is grouping of Commonly used Standard Responses and assigning it to the Email Profile.
    However, in case of NON IC_AGENT Business Roles, there is no such provision of assocaiting a Email
    profile and thus there is no provision to assocaite a standard response group.
    (b) With respect to Draft mails, please refer the note 1251719. As mentioned in the note, draft mails are not yet supported in these Roles.

  • Email Profile - From email address

    Hi,
    I am currently working on CRM 6.0. We have the email profile configured where we maintain the from email addresses that appears in the email editor in IC while sending an outgoing email.
    The client has a requirement to determine this from email address based on the business role he has logged into or based on the organization unit he is assigned to.
    For instance,
    if Businessrole 1 - then the from email address should be donotreplyATxyz.com
    if Businessrole 2 - then the from email address should be donotreplyATabc.com
    What I was wondering if this is possible via code? i mean through some badi, or enhancement the component/view of the email.
    if anyone has come across this requirement or have done something similar, please do let me know.

    Hi Susana,
    That is the plan for now. But the issue with this is, we have around 30 odd enhancements done for the first business role. If I create a second business role I would have to redo all the enhancements again for this business role. Isnt it?
    Further, any new functionality required for both the roles would have to be done twice for both the roles. Isn't it so?
    So I was wondering if we could avoid this double work by handling the from email address specific to a business role via code.

    I have a requirement to customize the fact sheet in IC business role, where the 'ICCMP_AFS' fact sheet always opens. But I need all the assignment blocks and information that is in 'BP_ACCOUNT_FS' fact sheet.
    So, is there any way to make that in IC Business Roles there was fact sheet 'BP_ACCOUNT_FS' but not 'ICCMP_AFS'?

    What I've done:
    1. Defined logical link 'ZIC_AFS' in transaction CRMC_UI_NBLINKS, by copiyng it from standard 'IC_AFS'. I only changed the parameter and put it 'BP_ACCOUNT_FS'.
    2. Define Profile (choosed the profile I need) -> Define Generic OP Mapping
    Choosed my navigation bar profile and made the following customizing:
    Object type: FACTSHEET
    Obj.Action: B Display
    Use target: nothing checked
    Target Id: nothing selected
    Use Link: checked
    LogLink ID: ZIC_AFS
    3. Transaction 'BSP_WD_CMPWB', Component: BSP_DLC_FS -> Component structure browser -> Views -> BSP_DLC_FS/factsheet. I've created my own configuration, copying it from standard 'BP_ACCOUNT_FS':
    Config key: my own, for my business role
    Component usage: <DEFAULT>
    Object Type: 'BP_ACCOUNT_FS'
    Object Subtype: <DEFAULT>
    After confirming Business Partner I can see the fact sheet I defined.
    But my task was to see the fact sheet of the business partner when I select it in a call list, before I confirm it. And there was ABAP.

    We're upgrading CRM Webclient UI from CRM 5.0 to CRM 7.0. As per Upgrade Master Guide, there is listing of Migration activities. We're working on Migration Activities for IC Profiles in CRM 5.0 to Business Role in CRM 7.0.
    Please advise us how to do mapping to set up Business Profiles on the basis of IC Profiles in CRM 5.0
