Email Reply Language

Hello all,
I've got my iPod touch language set to Russian, and regional settings set to English Canada.
When I reply to a message in Mail, the language of the bits added by the app (forwarded message begins, replying to, from, to, etc) are in Russian. I would like to have these in English, to make it easier for my responders to interpret what I send back.
Any ideas of how to fix this?

I think you need to set your language to English to get what you want. You can of course still type Russian when you do that.

Images in Email Reply Templates

Hi experts,
I was wondering if anyone knows of a way to add/embed images into the Email Reply Templates.
We are using email queues in BCM (SP4.1) on its own (no CRM integration) and need to include a company image in the reply email.
If it can't be done in the templates, can it be done directly in the response email?
Have tried copying the image and signatures from an outlook template into the reply email in the CDT, but this has had inconsistent results.
The text is there, but it's hit or miss on the image.

so you tried the IMG tag and it does not work for you?
For example
would in CDT view turn out like
Though one potential problem with this is that depending on the receiver's e-mail client it may block auto-download of external images.

Code for customer email reply

We need to link a "Click here for info" graphic to an email reply. Effectively, when user clicks image, he/she is led to their default email client (e.g., gmail) with the To:, Subject: and From: completed. Can anyone help? We're using Dreamweaver CS4.

Are you talking about an html email?
In all honesty, the mailto: link shouldn't really ever be used for two main reasons...
1. Browser based email clients will do nothing when the link is clicked
2. Your email address is primed and available for any and all spam harvester bots that happen across it
If you don't mind that your viewers/recipients get the "nothing happened" effect when they click the link or that you may start receiving an inordinate number of discount pharmaceuticals advertisements from seemingly upstanding sites run by a group of down on their luck Nigeria doctors, sure, it will work fine.

Setting default for Email Reply text colour

Hello, Can anyone tell me how to change the default colour for my signature and email replies from BLUE to BLACK?Currently, I only see the option to 'format' each individual email reply. I don't know why the default colour for the text and the signature is BLUE but I would really like to change it to BLACK. Any help would be appreciated. Thanks,interloper1969

Don't know how I overlooked this before but the following is the expected result
Composing a new email, black text
Reply or forward to a email, blue text

Planning : email notifications language

Hi,
Do you know how to set the email notifications language ? I'm talking about the email notification you receive when you submit datas on workflow.
I tried to change my internet parameters to change the language to english, but this does not fix the issue.

My email reply has just started to float with no margin

My email reply page does not have a margin and 'floats' which it did not do before. A new message screen is fine, I.e. The cursor returns at the end of the line. Can atone help please?

Quit the Mail app and restart. Go to your home screen. Double tap the home button, find the mail app in the task bar, tap and hold down on the icon until it wiggles. Tap the minus sign to close the mail app. To restart - Hold down on the sleep button until the red slider appears and slide to shut off. To start up, hold the sleep button until the Apple logo appears and let go of the button. Try the mail app again.

New email, reply and forward icons are shaded how do I fix this please

My email "reply" doesn't load. I can reply to my emails fine in other browsers.

I have a laptop pc. Web pages load okay. My email server loads okay. I can read my emails fine. However, when I attempt to reply to any email, the loading of the reply page does not complete. I cannot reply to my emails in your browser. When I use a different browser, my email reply function work perfectly.

Blackberry email reply headers

Hi,
I am working on an use case where in an email reply from blackberry user should be captured and processed.
My systems sends a mail to the blackberry user with proper messageId set in email headers and when the user replies back from blackberry, I do not see any In-reply-to or references headers in the reply email header.
Is there any configuration that needs to be done in order to get this working?

Automator with Outlook to generate a generic email reply

I am trying to use Automator with Outlook on a MacBook to generate a generic email reply.
The reply email should contain:
Any attachment from within the original emailCannot find anything within Automator to get this working
External Outlook attachment from finderThis works fine
Text Edit template textI can get the text to enter but it becomes unformatted, removing paragraphs, bold text, bullet points, etc.
Does anyone know if this is possible with Automator or do I need to start looking into learning AppleScript?

You should be able to set up numerous IMAP accounts on your iPhone with no problems.
IMAP will not sync contacts and calendars in your local copy of Outlook.

Detect blue email reply at the current selected line

Hi all,
I want to detect whether a blue email reply line (see picture below) is at the current selected line and do some action. Is this possible to detect it? I think observing the ParagaphFormat of the current selection could be work.

In addition to Eugene's reply, you can get the paragraph's Borders property, check the sub-properties of this property to determine if this selected paragraph has some blue border line:

Sometimes in an email reply in Outlook the cursor disappears...

Sometimes in an email reply in Outlook the cursor disappears and pressing any key makes the "bump" sound. The only way to correct this is by clicking the mouse back in the original cursor location...any ideas?

Does the cursor always drop to the bottom? If so, perhaps your hitting the text when trying to type the top row of keys.
Regarding troubleshooting, try resetting your iPhone by pressing the home and sleep buttons until you see the Apple logo, ignoring the slider. Takes about 5-15 secs of button holding and you won't lose any data or settings.

Email reply problem

Hey.
I use my blackberry torch in my language, turkish.
When I got an email and answer that, it looks like ynt:subject. That ynt suffix is turkish translation of reply. But gmail use re for reply suffix. After three mail subject looks like ynt:re:ynt:re:ynt:re:subject. Except using my bb in english, do you have any solution?

1. Mail > Window ( in the menu bar) > Previous recipient
Remove the address from the list.
2. Contacts vCard has the correct e-mail address?
