Email requirement in the Events Module

Is there a way to take off the email requirement in the Events Module? We actually have the occasional registrant that does not have an email address.

Unfortunately this is not possible - the email address field acts as a unique identifier for customers within the CRM and is a requirement for all forms. If the email address field is removed, then the form will not be able to submit successfully.

  • Adding a field to an Event Booking form and modyfying the results module.

    I am trying to use the Events/Booking system to book casual days at a child care centre for a client. I can customise the Events Detail form layout but I need some additional fields and to make some changes to the auto responses.
    The form/page is only visible in a secure zone, so the logged in user gets the form submitted against their name. This is fine. However, I need to also capture the name of the child who is being booked in by the adult. Can I add a field to this form and have it recorded in the event bookings. I have tried to add a field, but the data is not captured in the form results.
    I also need to modify a few other things about the module:
    - the form work flow. Where/how can I set the workflow used for the Event/Booking Submission? It seems to have picked one at random.
    - I need to change the text/field names on the form results module on both the email confirmation and the confirmation page.
                - it shows "Seats Booked" which in this case is an inappropriate description of the action taken. I need to change this to "Places Requested", or remove it completely.
               - it also shows "Booking Confirmed". I need to change this to "Booking Request Received"
    - the email confirmation shows a Verify Booking Link at the top of the email. This isn't in the Notification Email template on the Event. How can I remove it?
    I can use javascript to hide or search and replace some of the offending tags, but I was hoping that there was a cleaner way.
    Any help or suggestions would be greatly appreciated.

    The form for booking is just a web form, BC treats it differently when in the events page. So under web forms you will find the booking form. You can not just add fields to the html of the form. You need to add them here so they can go into the database.
    - The webform workflow can be changed on the web form settings, the workflows are under the site settings and you can create/edit them there.
    - You can only have the name of the fields that come out, you do not have much customisation on the email confirmation or the layout. You can not limit or edit the fields.
    - You can not use javascript in emails, this is not a BC thing, this is an email/web thing.

  • Insert date on event  module notification email

    Hello community,
    I'd like to add the date of the event booked on the event module notification email, but those tags are not available in the toolbox on that panel and when I use those listed in the documentation, they don't work and simply display as {tag_ }, even though they work in the detailed event layout.
    I'm thinking it can be done with a module tag /liquid layout, but the things I've tried so far aren't giving me what I need.
    Can you help?
    The events are daily (basically admission) so there is no category, but the date should be sent on the confirmation email because it serves as the ticket.

    Hi,
    i would know if exist a simple way (or a native function) to integrate the event module with a system payement.
    I Would like that the authentication is permitted after a fees.

    Issue is resolved, both ways with PI without PI can be implemented.
    I have consumed web services hosted by payment gateway to integrate with credit card payment process. As this is secured (https) environment took basis help to make SAP also https enabled for shake hand between SAP and payment gateway.
    For second solution both basis and PI help is required.

  • OBPM1 & OBPM3  event modules clarification ?

    HI Experts 
    OBPM1 & OBPM3 are DME related tcodes.
    CZSK-CITISK-D  and  CZSK-CITISK-F are payment medium formats we used.
    In OBPM1 - we are provided with the  0, 20, 25, 30 , 40 Event modules from SAP.
    In OBPM3  - we maintained the 6, 21, 31 , 41 ( as suggested by  SAP for grouping of invoices )
    Does the event modules in 2 places has to be same ???
    If we maintain different event modules in OBPM1 and OBPM3 does it have any effect on the System Performance when we run the payment program ?
    When ever we run the payment run in Production its taking very long time than it has to take. it happend one tine in test system..but not often.
    People working in production system are in Czech country.
    Please respond.

  • HT201303 I-tunes asking Challange questions I never provided answers to, Challange questions were not required in the past.

    I can not purchase from the I Tunes store after installing windows 8,
    I-Tunes does not recognize my password for purchases.
    The store is asking challange questions that have never been part of my profile.
    My last purchase was in September, 2012.
    Things were fine with my Windows XP OS. then.
    I have never been asked to submit answers to challange questions.

    If all else fails:
      1. Go to: Apple Express Lane;
      2. Under Product Categories choose iTunes;

    Another user had success doing the following:
    I got some help from an apple assistant on the phone. It is kind of round about way to get in.
    Here is what he said to do and it is working for me...
      a. on the device that is asking you for the security questions go to "settings", > "store" >
          tap the Apple ID and choose view"Apple ID" and sign in.
      b. Tap on payment information and add a credit/debit card of your preference then select
          "done", in the upper right corner
      c. sign out and back into iTunes on the device by going to "settings"> "store" > tap the
          Apple ID and choose "sign-out" > Tap "sign -in" > "use existing Apple ID" and you
          should be asked to verify your security code for the credit /debit card and NOT the
          security questions.
      d. At this time you can remove the card by going back in to edit the payment info and
          selecting "none" as the card type then saving the changes by selecting "done". You
          should now be able to use your iTunes store credit without answering the security
          questions.
    It's working for me ...I just have to put in my 3 digit security pin from the credit card I am using.

  • Event module time

    Hello,
    Is there any way to get a field and specify a time (not ONLY a date) for a event, using the event module?
    If the customer use the description I can do it with javascript, not a perfect solution. Open Admin and a custom App might also solve this one, but a lot of work for just the time. It's quite strange that BC didn't thought about that a event usally have a time.
    Any help is appreciated. Thanks!

  • Events module

    Hi everyone,
    I've just signed up to be a business catalyst partner on their free plan and I'm currently building a site for someone who will take out a plan with BC. The site I'm building will need to have the events module built into it.
    I know that the WebCommerce plan is the one that offers the events module but do I have to upgrade from a free plan to a paid plan as a partner in order for my client to be able to purchase the WebCommerce plan or can they do this even though I'm on the free plan?
    I'm still trying to work out how BC actually works so would really appreciate any advice.

  • I just installed Icloud on my Iphone and PC (all versions as required) I checked mail, caledar and task. Outlook shows an Icloud calendar but none of the events that are on my phone calendar. Email is not syncing from phone to pc either. What do i do?

    What you've outlined in this part of the post is all that icloud stores for you outside of the backup. If you want to restore from the icloud backup you will then have for all practical purposes a carbon restoration back to your device if you restore from the icloud backup.

    Syncing your device with itunes will then enable you to remove whatever photos you wish to remove from your device deleting them with the computer and not the iphone.

  • Function modules to generate the event required

    Hi guys,
    I have created a workflow but its start event is not getting triggered though condition data is correct.
    I want to debug and see when the Business object's event is called.
    Can you please tell me name of the Function modules to generate the event. This way i'll put a breakpoint on those and check the flow ?

    Also I want you advice on the real issue i'm facing.
    I have created a workflow giving some condition with start event as CHANGED of BUS1006. Now the work of populating the field in condition is done automatically by a BADI i've created.
    The issue is that the workflow is not triggerd during automatic population of teh field but is triggered when i explicitly populate the field.
    The reason might be that CHANGED event of the business object used is triggered before the SAVE BADI has populated teh field. So CHANGED event 's condition is not satisfied before the BADI has finished updating.
    Is there a way tackle this. Can I somehow push back the trigger of workflow...I'm new to workflows so please don't mind if this sounds foolish

    Great exercise to document the problem like this.  It got me thinking about how an app with modules would be different from an app that does not use modules.  Solution: I moved the dummy reference of PersonPhotoView out to the main application file (as opposed to being inside the module) and it worked.  I've probably been lucky not to have experienced this problem earlier, because for most other entities I have an instance attached to my model which is linked / compiled with the main application.

  • Have problem setting Email alerts for Calendar events. Warning message says I need to set up a card in Contacts with my email. I do but it doesn't recognize it. How do I indicate the email I want alerts sent to?

    The system of setting up email alerts for Calendar events worked fine in Snow Leopard but since I upgraded to Mt. Lion Calendar won't let me set email alerts. When I try, I get an error message saying I need to set up a card in Contacts for my email. I have a card set up in Contacts for both of my email addresses but it doesn't recognize them. Perhaps the name I have on the card doesn't match a name that Calendar is looking for. Calendar doesn't seem to have a way in Preferences or elsewhere to indicate the email I want alerts sent to. Any ideas how I can get this system working again? Thanks for your help.

  • Is there a way to secure my work email on my iPad in the event my device gets lost or stolen?

    I recently got a job where I was issued an email that is accessible online. I love using an email client that helps to organize my emails. However, I am concerned than in the event that my iPad becomes lost or stolen, I may jeopardize the security of company information.
    Can anyone recommend an app that will secure the email address with a password or other security measure that will disallow and viewing of email without proper ID?
    I really hate using web-based email.

    We develop an app called MobileIA
    It is a secure container that encrypts email, calendar and Contacts for your organisation.
    This would be used for the organisation as a whole rather than just you though.
    Also has a SharePoint connection, Secure Camera and creation of office documents.
    Available for iPhone and iPad.
    If you search Mycroft MobileIA in google you will find us.
    The container is password protected and allows remote lock and wipe.
    It also detects a jailbreak.
    If hou did loose your device an admin can remote lock or wipe it.
    If the device is placed into airplane mode (thus preventing the remote lock) a "timebomb" kicks in to wipe.
    This is not like an mdm solution that takes over your oersonal device, it creates a segregated area on the device for business.
    At least worth a look!

    Hi,
    This needs to coded in the Save User Exit of the Sales Order Include MV45AFZZ (USEREXIT_SAVE_DOCUMENT) and use the Function Module "SO_DOCUMENT_SEND_API1" to trigger a mail.
    Please try this and let me know if any.

  • Re emailing photos from iPhoto: after I create an event, I later add captions, each one beginning with a number. I'd like to email a set of these photos in the order they are captioned, not the original order of the event.  How do I do this?

    I take a number of photos of an event which I download into iPhoto as an Event.  I later add captions to some of the photos in the Event, and I want to share them by email IN THE ORDER OF THE CAPTIONS RATHER THAN IN THE ORDER THEY APPEAR IN THE EVENT.  Each caption begins with a unique number followed by text.  How can I email them in the order of the caption numbers?

    You can't, block capitals notwithstanding. Try using numbered Filenames. But remember how it's all received at the other end is entirely based on the settings on the recipients machine, so it might well be moot.
