Email Sapscript with an individual mail body

Hi
we are sending Sales documents via NAST and SCOT as email to our customer. Currently the document is converted into Pdf and added as attachment to the mail. We can only change the subject line. It is not possible for us to fill the mail body. The body is completly empty.
We would like to fill it with some personalized information.
Have you any ideas, how to do this?

I am not directly using a function module. We set the output type in the NAST record to '5' and SAP does the rest (Transformation into pdf, reading the email-adress from mail partner in the SD-document,...)

Mail Notification with Custom Subject, Mail Body and PDF File Name

I have successful configured the Action Profile to send SmartForm Mail as PDF. But i would like to modify the Subject, PDF File Name & add text to mail body when a mail is sent to the user.
The Subject of the Mail is the same as the PDF file name. How to maintain a pre-defined file name for the PDF file.

I was able to find a commercial product that works very well. MaxBulk Mailer from Max Programming allows you to import a list of recipients, merge with personalized message and designate an attachment (just image types and PDFs, not all types work) and send.

Why some emails sent with OS X Mail is not delivered, and if I send the same e mail from the website of my hosting provider, to the same recipients, they are delivered?

Sometime, when I send an email with my Mac Book Pro, i receive the message:
Hi. This is the qmail-send program at smtplqs01.aruba.it.
I'm afraid I wasn't able to deliver your message to the following addresses.
This is a permanent error; I've given up. Sorry it didn't work out.
But if I try to send the same messagge, at the same email address, from the web site of my hosting providere, ther are not problem...

Could be a number of things, among them the fact that the recipient's inbox is full, or his/her ISP email server is a bit slow at hand-shaking with yours, and this of course can vary depending on the fact that the recipient's account is IMAP or POP.
When you send an email from a webmail, the grunt work is done by the SMTP server, and it's up to it to manage the multiple requests, their number, their frequency, their routing, etc... When you send an email from your Mail app, it'll send it once to your SMTP server, who'll process it a certain number of times before giving up, but you'll receive only one failure message.
If the recipient's an Microsoft Exchange account, you must know that those servers sometimes send and receive email in bulk, and at a variable refresh rate, hence the "Sorry, your email couldn't be distributed...".

Email glitch with Yahoo! Mail -- mass mailings!

This morning, while riding in the Metro (subway), I used my iPhone to respond to a couple of emails through my Yahoo! account. However, AT&T has no service in the subway in D.C. So, I thought that by hitting SEND, the emails would be queued and would go out once I surfaced.
Boy, did they ever! When service was restored, my iPhone sent each message over 25 times - without my knowing. Also, the mail program crashed (i.e., went black and then booted me back to the main screen) -- much as has happened on multiple occasions with Safari.
Anyone else having this problem? Does this mean I shouldn't hit SEND without service? Needless to say, the people to whom I sent the gazillion emails were not pleased!

Set mail body and email id in SO01

Hi All,
My requirement is that i need to send a workitem to user in which he will be navigated to transaction SO01(New Message) with a predefined mail body and subject line. There agent will specify the email IDs and will click on send button to send the mail.
I am not getting how to prepopulate the message field with a predefined content.
Kindly help me out.

If you go to SO01, you will find there that we need to set the mail body and subject line there and also specify some mail IDs there. So i want that mail body field and email IDs to be prepopulated....
I know how to navigate user to SO01 screen but how should i prepopulate the message body in SO01.

Has anyone found the solution to email disappearing with Apple Mail?

Hello,
I have seen quite a number of postings about email disappearing with Apple's Mail client, regardless of what account they are using (yahoo, gmail, aol, etc.). What I have noticed is that email vanishes right in front of my eyes from the folders I have created to keep my email in order. Sometimes I move a message or several and I see them in the folder for a day or two, and then a few days later they are simply gone. This happens from the sent folder too. It is random. No, they are not in the trash, or junk, or anywhere else. Doing a full search turns nothing. They are really, really gone.
Sometimes, I go to a folder and I see how in a second one or several messages disappear from the list and that is it. Never to be found again. Not even if I visit the web-based account I can retrieve them. They are gone.
The worst part is when they disappear from my sent folder immediately after they leave the outbox, so I am not sure if it sent or not, and I have to retype the whole thing again just to make sure.
This is extremely annoying, and I have seen I am not the only one to which this happens. Has anyone found a fix for this bug? Should I simply keep all my email in my inbox? Or should I just give up on Apple Mail and use Thunderbird?
I have an old powerbook G4 with 10.4 and Mail 2. Not like it makes much difference, I've seen people complaining about the same issue in later versions of OS and Mail.

Is there ANY way to use another email address with iCloud?

Apple let you use any email address as an Apple ID, but I really want to be able to use a non-Apple email address with my iCloud mail. Just about every email service (Gmail, Hotmail, etc) allows you to send from a third-party address (once you've done a security verification) so that you don't have to change your email address when switching services. iCloud seems to have no such option. Is there any way round this, or any way to put pressure on Apple to add this basic feature???

Need a way to avoid subject repetition in workflow notification's mail body

In workflow email, subject gets repeated in mail body too. Couple of queries -
1. Is it possible to remove the repetition in mail body?
2. If not outright removal, can we at least decrease the font?
I got <af:panelHeader text="#{bindings.title.inputValue}" id="ph1"> in jspx page, but how do I restrict it to show title in body only in worklist and not in email. Can anyone share exact code snippet (using rendered/visible property) to be put here?

Email Purchase Order with mail body

Hi, ALL,
I would like to email purchase order to vendors with customized email subject and body. I did configuration in IMG according to note 191470. I also set up title and text in IMG. Now I can email PO with subject (title). But there is no mail body ( the text? ) . Is there anybody know how to do it? Thanks a lot!

In standard you can send purchase order by mail with subject line (title) only and you can not send mail body text.

First you have to store image in MIME Repository. , then use HTM type to send mail .,

For what it's worth, I can report exactly the same problem. I just recently converted from Outlook for Mac 2011 to Mail. I did the conversion while running Yosemite. I like pretty much everything about Mail EXCEPT that it take 2 pages to print a 1 page email!! The header appears on the top of p.1, followed by a blank space. The message begins at the top of p.2.
If you scale it down, you can get the message to begin to appear on the bottom of p.1, but clearly, Mail is inserting BIG SPACE between the header and the message. Changing the display fonts for Mail had no apparent effect (except that the font DID change, of course)....still a BIG SPACE between the header and the message.
Coming to Mail for the first time, I would have assumed that this was just a quirk of Mail, but am I understanding that some of you Mail users out there USED TO NOT have this problem?? I think it's pretty clear that it's Mail that's causing the problem, not the message, because I went over to my old Outlook and printed the same couple of messages with no such space between the header and the message. So Mail is inserting a space into the print formatted email message that is NOT there in Outlook's print formatted same message.
Be really nice to get rid of this problem, but my Apple Care free support has expired. Not sure I want to pay for something that's generic to Mail!! Anyone else made any progress on this?

I have tried looking for them in deleted items, even though I didn't throw any of them away, still cant find them. Never had this problem before. I'm pretty sure its a setting somewhere. Also tried expanding all conversations, no luck. Searching for the mails under the sent email address, no luck.
I'm sure they are not deleted but have somehow been hidden by Mail. Very frustrating.

I have found found out what has happened. I had requested a statement dating back to April 2012 from a supplier. They replied back with the latest statementof 2013 only but used the same subject heading as the previous monthly statements. Apple Mail automatically grouped these and I thought that they were sent altogether. As soon as I replied to the last email all other the previous emails ungrouped from the conversation leaving me lost as to where they had gone. They were all still sitting in my inbox but no longer part of the trcked conversation. I searched under the subject heading and all individual mails were all still there. (feeling stupid - )

Everything works fine, except that the text I attach in documents-content_text doesn't appear as a normal text in the email body but within an .EXT-attachment. Should this be a TXT attachment?
E.g. when I send the text 'Hello World' the email arrives with an attachment 'Hello World.EXT'.
Did anyone have the same problem? What's wrong?
