Email sent on galaxy mini s4 goes to outbox not to sent folder

sending email on my Verizon Samsung galaxy mini s4 does not go thru, checking the email folder it is on the outbox not on sent?

I have had the same issue a few times. I've had to remove my account and then reinstall it to correct for this every time. It's not hard just a (removed) to go through when it happens. Good Luck!

You can check for problems with current Flash plugin versions and try these:
*disable a possible RealPlayer Browser Record Plugin extension for Firefox and update the RealPlayer if installed
*disable protected mode in the Flash plugin (Flash 11.3+ on Windows Vista and later)
*disable hardware acceleration in the Flash plugin

Clear the cache and the cookies from websites that cause problems.

You may the sort set to Custom. Click the dropdown menu on the toolbar (to the right of the word sort) and change to capture time.
If you can’t see the toolbar above the filmstrip press the T key. Press T again to hide.

If you have a backup with Time Machine, open Mail then click on the Time Machine icon on your dock. You should be able to move back in time to find the missing Mail and restore it.

Resolution
Move the mouse or trackpad cursor over the center area of the login window so you can see the user icons. Click on the icon of the user that you would like to login as, type in the user's password, and press Return.
If the login window is configured to show only the name and password fields, type in the user's name and password into the fields, and press Return (even if you cannot see the rest of the login window).
Additional Information
This issue will not occur if the display is not sleeping when the account is logged out. Use the steps below to confirm that the account is not configured to log out automatically while the display is sleeping:
1. Open System Preferences > Security & Privacy > General. Click the padlock to unlock the preference pane and enter your admin password. Click the Advanced button at the bottom, then see if the option "Log out after N minutes of inactivity" (where N is the number of minutes) is enabled.
2. Open System Preferences > Energy Saver and configure Display Sleep to occur after the account is logged out, by dragging the slider to a number of minutes that is greater than N was set to in the previous step.
Important: If automatic log out is not needed, disable "Log out after Nminutes of inactivity" in System Preferences > Security & Privacy > General. This will also prevent the issue.

IPhone Notes appear in mail sent folder

My iPhone notes suddenly appeared in my email sent folder. They are sent to "no recipient". These do not appear when I look at my sent folder on a computer, only on my iphone.
Is this normal? Were these actually sent to no one or were they sent to emails in my contact list??

Can anyone explain how Notes are backed up to gmail?
This is what i'm guessing but I would like confirmation: because my notes are backed up to gmail, they are being "sent" to gmail, and therefore are appearing in my sent folder?

I had the same issue and managed to solve it.
Go into Mail>Preferences>Accounts
Then in the account information tab, at the bottom should be outgoing mail server (SMTP) and click the drop down box
Mine had a few different servers in it so i went into edit SMPT server list. Click advanced and it will tell you which ones are going from which email address.
Delete the ones you dont want, and it should work or instead of deleting click use only this server, i imagine that will work to

It sounds like you have tapped the "Folder" icon. This allows you to move emails from one folder to another. Cancel out of there and turn the iPad to Landscape orientation to see all available mailboxes. Or while in the Portrait orientation tap the "Mailboxes" icon in the top left corner.

I just sent an email from my GalaxyNote3 using yahoo mail with the following html link:

and the link worked. i.e. support.mozilla.org was a clickable link.
You are right that there is no rich text editor to easily make links on Firefox for Android. This is a web compatibility problem. If you feel you are technical enough please file a web compatibility bug by following the instructions at the following link:

Hi everyone, occasionally when i send mail, I dont get the swoosh and the mail doesnt get sent - it does, however, go into the sent folder so I have no idea that it has failed, any idea/fixes out there - thanks

According to Comcast's help pages, you should be using port 587 for the outgoing (SMTP) email server.
@JoeyG15, port 80 is HTTP, that's for web access, etc., not email.

Which email service provider are you using? You can install DropBox and share links to the files that way. When you snd to your self (cc or bcc) do the items show up? What file types and sizes are these attachments? Are you sending over WiFi or cellular connection? Try using more than one email account from a different provider (Gmail, yahoo, iCloud, etc) and see if it is email provider specific.

What email service are you using? And what is your operating system? Usually the emails you send will appear in a "Sent" or "Sent items" (or similar) folder, separate from your email inbox. Are you able to find that folder?
Any email that appears in the "Sent" folder has been successfully sent. If it's stuck in the "Outbox" folder, that means there was a problem and it has not yet sent.
