EMail Shortcut to TA CRMD_ORDER

Hello All,
In the Solution manager I have added the following link in the Smartform CRM_REMINDER_MAIL_01
http://<my.server.com>:8002/sap/bc/ags_workcenter/ags_work_appln?CMD=CRMD_ORDER&%7esolmanwrkgui=SAPSHORTCUT&ID=&orderadm_h-guid&
The link appears in the attached PDF in the mail and when clicked connects to the Netweaver server, but does not redirect to the transaction CRMD_ORDER, because the last part of the link is missing after the first "&" in the URL in Internet explorer:
http://<my.server>:8002/sap/bc/ags_workcenter/ags_work_webgui?sap-language=E&sap-client=100&transaction=AGS_WORK_LAUNCHER&OkCode=/08&pcmd=CRMD_ORDER&
When I copy and paste the URL, it works ok.
Any help would be appreciated

in Smartforms the URL was correct, but smartforms did not recoginse the URL as a link (i.e. it was not underlined as URLs normally are in Word).
I had pressed the button "Text editor". The URL is in Tags <%W>xxxx</>, which cannot be seen in the word style editor. These had been deleted through this.
I returned back to the Word-Style editor, swiped the URL-text and pressed the URL-Button at the top of the Editor. The Text then became a URL again.
Sorry, but I cannot really help you with your other problem, I am new to SOLMAN. Does your URL have the Option:
/ags_work_appln?CMD=CRMD_ORDER&%7esolmanwrkgui=SAPSHORTCUT&ID=&orderadm_h-guid&

E71-1:Can't assign New Email shortcut

I'm having problems setting up a long key press shortcut to the e-mail button of my E71 (Finnish). Other buttons work fine.
If I go to the active standby shortcut key settings and choose Message Button menu (I'm translating my Finnish phone here so your translation may vary..) and choose "Messages" --> "New E-mail" from the list for the long keypress function, it doesn't work. It's been this way since the day I bought it and started it for the first time. I checked out the long keypress functions and all other buttons work correctly except the one with the envelope icon on it.
The error I get says something like: "The function is not available. Reverting to default setting."
For the short press function I have "Default action" which leads me to my Gmail-IMAP e-mail account like normal but also "Default action" as the long keypress - because of the error having it reverted to that.
Now I assigned the button to launch the Messages main menu and it works flawlessly!
I wonder if this thing with the New E-mail function is a bug.. Does anybody have similar experiences or some pieces of advice for me?

Another discovery:
I just found out that by setting the envelope key's long press as "default setting" will create new e-mail when the key is pressed for few seconds.
Yet if I set it to "create new e-mail". It will not create any email and also cause all other one-touch keys to fail.
Try it and let me know if it works for you.

Compose Email Shortcut

I am wondering if it is possible to place a shortcut on the Home Screen for Composing email. It would be great if we could do this for all the email accounts within the iPhone. However, I would be really happy if I can do it for at least my default account. (Just in case we can’t I added this request to Apple’s iPhone Feedback website).

Well it is possible, though I am not good at making a data url. Many sites such as http://springlets.com and http://iwebsaver.com offer ways of saving things to your home screen via data url's. These urls can hold entire pages in the url itself. So, a url can be made as a data url and the data in the url can be simple javascript for a mailto tag, thus allowing the mail app to start. Though the process will make Safari open for a moment, it will run the javascript thus start the mail app. Sort of round-a-bout, but possible.
I use http://springlets.com for the quick phone dialing. I know I don't really need it, but nice having a button on home screen for very quick dialing at times. And gives a reason for another icon
I have then used http://iwebsaver.com to convert some web apps (mainly some games) into data urls so I can actually play the webapps (games) even in airplane mode since all the data of the page is in the URL (note, depends on how game/webapp is designed if it will work for the ones you may have).

If you are using the Document to email shortcut in the scan application you will need to use Microsoft outlook to send it. If you are using a web bases email application you will need to do a normal document scan, and then manually attach the document to the email message.

Multiselect Messages in Pocket Outlook

Hello Folks.
I was reading my Treo 750 User's Guide. On page 111 there is a list of some email keyboard shortcuts. For example, while I'm looking at the inbox for one of my email accounts, if you press and hold the H key, you get a short list of email shortcuts. I like the shortcut for marking messages read; press and hold the K key to mark the selected/highlighted message read.
On Palm OS, in VersaMail 3.5 and 4.0, you can press and hold the solid Option key and then use the navigator to multiselect messages and then mark the selected messages read all at once.
My question is, does anyone know if this feature exists in Pocket Outlook that is bundled with Windows Mobile Professional 6.0 on the Treo 750? I yet to see a reference to such a feature in the manual or find it in the software by experimentation with different key combinations.

E71 FW 4.021.13- MFE 2.9.176

Hi,
I upgraded to the latest E71 Firmware 4.021.13 last night. As per the release information, it states that MFE is upgraded to 2.9.176. however, after the update my MFE is still the previous version- 2.9.158.
What is wrong?
Some help would be great.

this is my problem since nokia messaging was released... i has never worked for me for the send by email or send email shortcuts... the same message... there is no default mailbox... i hate this... i also updated to the last fw this night and la latest nokia messaging (not the one offerd by the phone's wizard but the one taken from email.nokia.com) and still the same problem... the good part is that if I hit NO when making a new email account it just sets up the built-in client wich at least dows what it is supposed to do... integrate with the OS... this way I have now Hotmail, Yahoo Mail and Gmail set up and working fine... I would br very happy with this built-in client BUT Hotmail uses POP3 (the other 2 use IMAP)... and another thing... i would like to use Nokia Messaging because, at least for Hotmail, it syncs the sent messages also... the others I didn't check....
so... NOKIA... DO SOMETHING... it is YOUR phone and YOUR software... but they DO NOT MATCH!

New BlackBerry User Questions, with Corporate BlackBerry

I just got a Blackberry Curve 9330 from my work, and I am trying to get used to it. I have never used a blackberry before, I use a Moto Droid as a personal phone, so it is pretty different.
Any links to good resources for tips on using this phone for business uses would be good as well, I have some more specific Q's I will post here.
One of my main questions is if there is any other navigation besides the touchpad. It is pretty weird to use, I am playing around with the sensitivity, but it just seems unresponsive a lot of the time, and not easy to use for the general email and phone naviagtion
Is there any way (Maybe App?) to bind the volume keys on the right side to be used to scroll through email, and other things? They seem perfectly postioned to be used to scroll. Also is there anyway to rebind the left voice command key, to use as a enter key? Again it seems perfectly positioned to be used like this. (It seems like a huge waste of a big side button if it can only be used for the voice navigation.)
Or maybe you can bind just keys on the keyboard to function as arrow keys?

It setup to connect to a blackberry server and Exchange for outlook etc as in a standard company (It's from a big company), and it gets some policies etc im sure. I don't know exactly the policies but I'm sure theres some things that may be locked down for me.
I have all my Outlook email folders stored on my Exchange Maibox (On the desktop side), and I can see them when I go to "View Folder" on the blackberry, however only the inbox and sent items seem to have the messages in them. On my desktop outlook, I have filters that move the email to these folders. Maybe those filters only run when a desktop outlook client (2003 right now) interacts wtih exchange? Still right now I have messages in these folders, and my blackberry can see the folders, and I can into them, but they say no messages. So It seems like I should be able to view the messages in them.
I'm also wondering if there is a refresh button, to refresh the exchange connection? Especially to refresh like the read status of email, so after I read 20 email on my desktop outlook, then I can refresh on my blackberry, and those 20 will appear as read messages

Reconcile is a slow process, but there is a reconcile now option if it is enabled on the BES server.

I have also changed the messages state size to 1000 and it cured 99% of our issues.
The performance hit and RAM increase is almost nil on the BES box.
On Device also double check:
Make sure that Wireless Reconcile is set to On. Sometimes toggling that to off, saving it, then turning it back on.
Messages Options - Email reconciliation -
Delete on Mailbox and handheld,
wireless reconcile = Yes
On conflicts = Mailbox wins.
If still not working and you moved a user mailbox.

Hi everybody,
I have spent hours trying to sync groups and categories btw outlook and nokia. That does not work. Does anyone have an idea?
I have 3000 contacts in my outlook. I NEED TO HAVE THEM ORGANIZED in my Nokia, as it is in my outlook.
Nokia team, please focus on this issue!! I was using HTC smart phone, an sync was working perfectly. You need to work hard. Otherwise, i should go back to HTC.
A lot of people needs this BASIC function to be organized; We are in 2009, It is amazig that this function is not included.

I have a complaint, which is word-by-word similar to yours. Category-wise viewing and opearating is a must for ANY business person. e.g. Clients, Suppliers, Admin Support Services, Collegues, Employees, etc.
In addition, Nokia should have included very simple, Blackberry-like features such as :
- Displaying entire Contact info on ONE SCREEN -'Co. Name, phone nos., email id,etc.
- Jumping to a Contact's address details from a Call Log entry
- On a Menu, jumping to a menu-item by using 1st ltr (e.g. 'D' for "Delete", 'V' for "View",etc)
- Keyboard shortcuts : email shortcuts: 'R' for "Reply to Sender", 'L' for "Reply to All";
- Intelligent auto-completes : 2spaces for "period", in an email field 2 spaces will input "@", etc.
I notice that your post dated July'09 is yet unresponded. I wish NOKIA is responsive to this post ASAP.

Cannot send Mail from Search shortcut "email [name of contact]" with exchange account

i have a Q10 with an exchange Account configured. Mail works fine from the hub but when i use the search feature of the q10 by typing "email [name of contact]" the compser opens but i cannot send. the account field is empty and when i press send the button gets greyed out. the email is not sent.
the problem seems to be that the default-account setting is not recognised when you use the search-shortcut-feature of the q10. when i compose a mail from the hub the account-field is filled right.
same problem has a friend of mine from another company. he also uses a different excahnge server/account.
os-version: 10.1.0.238
language: german
exchange version: 2010

I click on the emoticon and drag it to my email or whatever and get a blue box - no emoji. I tried the keyboard shortcut - doesn't work. I tried the drop down the menu in edit - doesn't work either. I am running Lion and want to upgrade to Mountain Lion. Want to fix this before I upgrade or should I just upgrade and hope for the best? Been all over the net looking for solution.

Pages does not support the Apple font used for color emoji, so that behavior is normal.
With what app are you reading the yahoo mail? There is really no guarantee than any other email service will show the special Apple font involved.
You should have no problem putting emoji directly into Mail or Text edit via drag drop from the Character Viewer as shown below.
You should also be able to upload graphics here easily by clicking on the camera icon. My email is tom at bluesky dot org.

I have Windows 7 and Firefox 3.6.1, when I am typing text such as email when I hit the shift key and certain letters it activates the shortcut keys and is very annoying how do I get this to stop?

This has happened multiple times. While typing email and also in forums. This is a new computer with Windows 7 so not sure if problem is something in Windows or with Firefox. Sometimes when I hit Shift and t a new tab will open, or shift and w will cause a pop up to come asking if I want to navigate away from this window. I have had other things pop up as well but not sure what they were or what keys I hit that caused them to show up. It tends to happen as I am typing faster. But when this happens, such as the shift t thing, I will close the tab and go back to what I was typing. Watching carefully that i am not hitting the ctrl key I hit shift t and the new tab will pop up again. The only way to get this to stop is to hit the esc key then I am able to to type fine again until it starts again. Once I was typing and my entire text highlighted and disappeared and I lost everything, so yes it can be extremely annoying. Hopefully someone can help me to solve this problem.

Yes, I have rebooted the computer several times. Logged off for the night and login this morning.
It still is happening.
It happens when I type a message in yahoo; when I login to yahoo, both trading platforms and several other applications.
After a while it stops - don't know if there is a key I strike that deactivates what every it is that is making the the keys perform the shortcut function. Sometimes by hitting ESC more than 4 times but less than 10 seems to stop it (or so it appears as the next time I type a msg in Yahoo mail the keys don't activate the toolbar "edit" function. Sometimes striking the backspace key over and over again when there is nothing to delete appears to stop it from happening.
Anymore suggestions? Greatly appreciated. Tired of retyping 3 or more times. Have gotten to the point where I type in word or notepad and paste my username and password into the appropriate areas or into the message area.

How do you schedule an email to be sent at a later time? Also, canned messaging shortcuts in Apple Mail?

I have heard rumors that this is doable using Automator and iCal. I have also heard rumors that Apple Scripts are the way to go and I have found a few online (likely from 17 year olds in their basements) -- I must admit, I'm a little leary about copying and pasting a script into my computer. I'd much rather have detailed instructions on how to set it up myself.
I would be most grateful for some help with this!

P.S. Also, if anyone knows if there is a way to use shortcuts in Apple Mail to trigger canned messaging I'd appreciate it. You can do this with the iPhone (ex: you can set it up so that when you type CB in the text field, it says "I'll have to call you back" or whatever you want it to say).

There are multiple ways to do similar things. One, built into the system, is to use text replacement. See:

There are other programs you can buy that can do the job in different ways, such as TextExpander. You could also just create a clipping file by dragging your e-mail address to somewhere like the desktop, and then you can simply drag that file to wherever you like to insert your e-mail address there.
