Email sometimes only in All mail other times normal mailbox..same sender

Can anyone solve this dilemma ... sometimes an email will go into ALL Mail and other times the email from the same sender will appear in the normal email inbox.. very annoying... the only way I know the email is there if I am checking on my macbook or Ipad... only happens on Iphone.. any ideas

According to the gmail support, the All Mail folder is where you archive your mail when you try to delete from the Inbox. Does this address what you are asking?
No, the "All Mail" also shows the contents of the inbox, sent mail, and archived (trashed) mail when viewed in the Gmail App. In the iOS Mail Gmail account, what shows in the All Mail folder is random.

The utility has had less and less useful information .. it might be time to simply find a different utility.

This is very popular.. I do not know of what works well on Mac OS because i have installed 5.6 utility which of course has far more info than the later toy version. Plus using an Asus router which has excellent listing of all the clients.

Try this first - Reset the iPad by holding down on the Sleep and Home buttons at the same time for about 10-15 seconds until the Apple Logo appears - ignore the red slider - let go of the buttons. (This is equivalent to rebooting your computer.)
Or this - Delete the account in Mail and then set it up again. Settings->Mail, Contacts, Calendars -> Accounts Tap on the Account, then on the red button that says Remove Account.

Internet Mail only says "All Mail" and "No Messages"

I have Bold 9700 with OS 6 and 4 different emails set up. I have work email with BES for Exchange and three different internet email accounts. All of them have been working fine until today. I have my icons set up so there is a different one for each mail account. The "Messages" icon is set up so that only the BES work email is viewable there. The three internet email accounts each have their own icon. When I open the icon for the problem email account it just says * No Messages * and at the top where it used to have the name of that email account it just says "All Mail". I am still receiving email to this account and I can access it by hitting the blackberry button, selecting Filter, and clicking Inbox. This is very inconvenient however, and I want to make it work the way its supposed to and how the other email accounts work. I tried the following with no success:
1. Power off, pull out battery, wait a minute, put back in and power on.
2. Pull out the battery while it is on and put it back in.
3. Delete the email account and recreate it (it just picked up the old settings).
Please help!!! I know I must have screwed up the view settings for this account but I can't figure out how to fix it.

Not sure what you mean by “I've just re-installed Mac OSX Tiger”. If you did an Archive and Install, your mail should all be there, just like the rest of your data.
Anyway, Gmail doesn’t allow the same message to be downloaded more than once via POP by normal means. To make already downloaded messages available for POP access again, you must go to Gmail’s Settings > Forwarding and POP page, select Enable POP for all mail, and click Save Changes.

I can't send mail after updating to mavericks (10.9.2) . i have to quit and restart mail each time i want to send an email - i can't believe apple have done this so amateurishly - please can someone help ???

i cant use mail to send an email. it goes to my out box and then eventually comes up with this dialogue :

I have to click Try Later and then quit mail , then restart Mail and then if I am lucky the email will be sent. the next time I have to send an email the same thing happens . New messages not appearing in the INbox, only in 'All Mails'

I'm using Gmail and iPhone 4.2.1. I'm managing gmail on the iphone using the Google Mail imap account.
When my browser is open, new messages are delivered to the INbox, as well as to my 'All Mail' folder, which is normal behaviour. When I feth gmail on the iPhone, same thing: I see the messages in both folders.
But, when my browser isn't open and I fetch new messages on the iPhone first, then these new messages are only stored in the "All Mail" folder and not in the INbox? Later, when I check in my browser, same thing: the fetched messages are missing from the INbox folder, and thus, I have a gap in the INbox.
How can I fix this?

Images are sometimes saved under original name, other times, under name url.*

After recent update to FF 23 I have a problem with saving image files. Whenever I drag and drop the image from page to desktop (Explorer) or if I open the image page and press Ctrl+S, I get image file names (most of the times) url.jpg or url.gif or url.png, etc.
Sometimes the filename matches original image name, but mainly it is url.*
I have several extensions installed, but they were installed on previous FF versions and did not cause the problem. (Ghostery, AdBlockPlus, FireBug, etc.) Turning extensions off does not seem to make any effect.
In about:config I have "browser.download.lastDir.savePerSite" set to "false".

I have been doing some digging on my account. I have right clicked on the offending songs (which is about 1 in 25 or so) and then clicked on the sort tab and found that the data is all jumbled -- title and artist start out as incorrect but then I play the song and it corrects itself. On the "Get Info" tab the artist and song are listed correctly but the sorting information is incorrect (not surprising -- right?). I read somewhere that it might have to do with duplicate songs and to delete the duplicates. I have not deleted anything yet and am still diagnosing but I feel like I have a better handle on it.
There is one album that seems to be causing real problems and gave me a big hint. There are three tracks for each song. One track was one I purchased under an old Apple ID in 2009. In 2012, I bought a new macbook and set up the itunes library and this duplicate track is listed as being purchased in 2012, as well. All the other older songs that are not having problems have the Nov 2012 date instead of the original purchase date. the third track is the one that is misnamed and then changes to the real song title when I click on play but the sort order is still an issue. Did you happen to get a new computer recently?

Mail puts all mail in the Junk mailbox

I've been working fine with Mail for years. All of a sudden it started putting all incoming mail in the Junk mailbox, ignoring the filtering and sorting rules which I have set up in Preferences/Rules. I've poked around Preferences and everything seems to be as it was. I got rid of a lot of old mail. I rebuilt all my mailboxes. It's a pain to manually sort all my mail and even when I mark mail as "Not Junk" it still comes as Junk the next time.
Frustrating! Any ideas???

I ended up REMOVING the junk folder from the list of folders on the left. When mail arrives that IS junk, I mark it junk, then select "move to junk folder (again)" and off it goes. I find this much better than to have all my mail go to junk and I have to UNjunk it and move it to the appropriate folder.
I wrote to Apple, but have not received a response -- I'm NOT holding my breath!
