Email stuck in Outbox when sending to multiple recipients.

I am using Outlook 2010.  When I forward an email to multiple recipients it gets stuck in the Outbox.  I have reduced the number of recipients and the same email will sale on through.  I am getting an error code 0X8DE00006 and MS disavows
any knowledge of it.  Is there a cure or do I have to send the forward email several times to small groups?

Hi,
From your description, I recommend you check if you limit the number of recipients you can have on an email.
If yes, please increase the value and check the result.
Hope it helps.

  • Mails stuck in Outbox when sending as shared mailbox

    Hi
I have some users who use a shared mailbox [email protected]
Their primary mail is their own [email protected] and the shared mailbox is the secondary. When they try to send mail as [email protected], the mails get stuck in the Outbox folder or the shared mailbox. Sometimes, only one user has a problem, sometimes 3 of
them (there are 6 members). Sometimes the problem is resolved, sometimes the problem happens again. Sometimes, the mail will be stuck in Outbox for 10 seconds then send. The recipient does not receive the mail when it gets stuck on the Outbox. I tried to add
a test user with the same privilege as this group and tried to log-in the computer of the user who is having the problem. In the test user, mails can be sent as the shared mailbox, but going back to the original user, it gets stuck on the Outbox. So I think
this is not a problem of the computer. I tried to check if the DelegateSentItemsStyle can be changed but this parameter is not existing in the registry of the user. Any advice? Thanks.

    Hello meowchao,
It puzzles me that they sometimes can send. Do you know Powershell?
If so, please run the following command:
    Get-MailboxPermission [email protected]
(where you type the proper name of your shared mailbox)
In the list produced, does all users who should have access to this mailbox appear and have full access?
If you don't know Powershell:  http://help.outlook.com/en-us/140/cc952755.aspx

  • Message error when sending to multiple recipients/contacts

Ever since 3.0 I can't send messages to multiple recipients. I'm on Optus in Australia using a 16gb 3G.
    Anyone else having this problem?
    Any fixes?

Actually, just for an update, if I turn off MMS I can send to multiple contacts. But with MMS on, I can't. Am I the only person having this issue?
I've tried a restore, and set-up as new phone. But still having no success.

  • Email stuck in outbox if sending mail from a shared mailbox

    Hi,
Some user mailboxes have recently been migrated from Exchange 2003 to Exchange 2010.  Shared mailboxes are located on Exchange 2003 still for the time being.
Some users have send as permissions to a shared mailbox.  In Outlook the users are logged in as themselves and using the from field send an email from the shared mailbox.
The email is sent and delivered to its recipient.
The email is however stuck in the outbox of the users mailbox.
I have tried recreating the Outlook profile, windows profile and using a different PC, but the mails still get stuck in the outbox.
If outlook is changed to use cached mode then the emails are delivered.  We don't want customers using cached mode though.
If I migrate the shared mailbox to Exchange 2003 I still have the problem.
If I migrate the users mailbox to Exchange 2003 then the problem goes away.
On the Laptop I am testing this on it is Windows 7, Office 2003.  I have also tested on another computer with Windows 7 and Outlook 2007. Outlook safe mode doesn;t help or turning off windows firewall.
Has anyone experienced a similar issue?

    Matt

    Hi,
Based on your description, I found this kb below:
    http://support.microsoft.com/kb/2703723/en-us
This problem occurs when all the following conditions are true:
Your Outlook profile is configured in online mode (not cached Exchange mode).
You have the DelegateSentItemsStyle registry value set to 1.
There is no resolution to this problem other than to either switch your profile to cached Exchange mode or set the DelegateSentItemsStyle registry value to zero (0).
Note If you set DelegateSentItemsStyle=0 in the registry, email messages that you send from a shared mailbox will be copied to
your Sent Items folder and not the Sent Items folder of the shared mailbox.
    Important
This section, method, or task contains steps that tell you how to modify the registry. However, serious problems might occur if you modify the registry incorrectly. Therefore, make sure that you follow these steps carefully. For added protection, back up the
registry before you modify it. Then, you can restore the registry if a problem occurs. For more information about how to back up and restore the registry,
    http://windows.microsoft.com/en-US/windows7/Back-up-the-registry
    1.Exit Outlook.
    2.Start Registry Editor.
Click Start, type regedit in the Start Search
box, and then press Enter. If you are prompted for an administrator password or for confirmation, type the password, or click
    Allow.
3.Locate and then select the following registry key:
    HKEY_CURRENT_USER\Software\Microsoft\Office\x.0\Outlook\Preferences
(Note In this key path, the placeholder x.0represents 15.0 for Outlook 2013, 14.0 for Outlook 2010, 12.0 for Outlook 2007, and
    11.0 for Outlook 2003.)
    4.Select the DelegateSentItemsStyle value.
5.On the Edit menu, click Modify.
6.Type 0, and then click OK.
    7.Exit Registry Editor.
    8.Start Outlook.

  • Email sits in outbox when sending

I have an intermittent problem where mail sent using an exchange account sits in the outbox until I go into the outbox, retrieve it and click send again. This does not happen all the time, which is a problem, since I never know if the mail is sent or not without checking the outbox. Anyone else have this issue? I am running 3GS with 4.1.

Do you have any single bars when this happens, and does it say "3G" at the top of the screen by the AT&T logo?

  • When sending an email how do I set the address when sending to multiple recipients so that each recipient only sees his or hers address and not everyone else

I would like so send emails to multiple addresses yet I want each recipient to only see his or her address

This question isn't related to Mozilla Firefox. However, I can still answer your question. In the 'to' field, put your own e-mail address and put each recipient's address in the BCC field. This way the only address seen is your own.
Please try to post in the appropriate forum next time. (Thunderbird, Gmail, etc.)

  • Use ";" as email delimiter when sending to multiple recipients

Hello out there. We currently have a Banner system in place that allows faculty to do a mass email to their classes. The only catch is that they use a semicolon as the delimiter between email addresses and Apple Mail doesn't seem to recognize this.
Can anyone help me find a way to enable the use of the semi-colon as a delimiter?
    Thanks.

Perhaps I could be barking up the wrong tree here,
but I'm pretty sure that separating email addresses
with a ";" has been a long supported feature in a lot
of different Mail clients over the years. If
anything, I've had nothing but trouble with using ","
    as a delimiter.
Well, Mail won't do it obviously, and I tested a couple different web mail clients that also won't recognize a ';'. I also looked at the RFC that defines the format for e-mail, and although I'm not particularly good at reading those documents, it does seem to say that the ',' is the appropriate delimiter between recipients.
However, they use a ";" delimiter
as Outlook and Entourage do not respect "," correctly
    without tweaking.
I find that surprising, as I've used all manner of methods for accessing e-mail over the years -- everything from extremely simple Unix mail readers to clients like PowerMail, MailSmith, Eudora and Mail to web mail interfaces -- and in all the interfaces that I have used, the comma is the appropriate delimiter. If Outlook and Entourage truly don't do the comma without extra work, I have only one explanation: Microsoft.
So - is there some way to add another delimiter that
Mail will recognize in email lists (in the To: Cc: or
    Bcc: box)?
I assume this is something you want automated, and I also am assuming that Banner is producing the lists of addresses. How do they get from Banner to Mail? If you could insert an AppleScript in that process somehow for your Mac users, you could automatically replace all ';' characters with ','.

  • Messages stuck in outbox when using "Send to Mail recipient" and outlook is closed

A user who uses RPC over https all the time on his desktop in the office. In general
he has no problem to send/receive emails. But when he tried to send a File through right click - > send to -> Mail recipient , New Email window opens and He changes
the subject and add receipt and send email when outlook is close. The email stuck in outbox.
any idea and how to fix it?
    Thanks in advance.

    Hi,
As what Roady says, it is an expected behavior. This is because the
“spooler” which is something that manages the MAPI transports is working when Outlook is running. So when you sending messages when Outlook is not running, there is no spooler running, and so nothing is going to send your mail. The next time you launch Outlook,
you will see the mail in the Outbox.
For more information about this behavior, please refer to A trip back in time—the evolution of Outlook part of the following link:

Can you please check onto the Exchange server, the Outbox folder size and Items in it. Use the below command to verify the Outbox folder.
    Get-MailboxFolderStatistics -Identity <Alias> -FolderScope Outbox
Look out for ItemsInFolder and FolderSize. If it displays content in it, you would need to remove the emails from the Outbox Folder. The Outbox folder can be accessed from the OWA light version.

  • N8 Belle Refresh email stuck in Outbox

    Hello
I have an N8 running Belle Refresh (updated a month ago).
I've had an email stuck in the Outbox for over a week.   I only found it by accident.
I can't move it or open it, it just says "Unable to open while sending".
It seems all I can do is delete it, but I don't want to as I can't remember exactly what I wrote in it.
    Any ideas please ?

i would check the email by logging into your mail account on a PC.

  • Sending emails with both body and attachment to multiple recipients

I have a requirement to send email with body and attachment to multiple recipients.
Body of the email is a standard text. It is a proxy-to-mail scenario.
Here is what I've done: (I'm using PI 7.11)
One mapping from Source to Target structure (format of the attachment text file)
Second mapping from Target Structure to Mail Package format.
In the second mapping I'm concatenating the output of first step into "Content" of the Mail Package.
"XIPAYLOAD" is the message protocol used.
The "Keep attachments" option in the Mail adapter allows only to send "Content" as attachment or as body of the email.
How to send an email with both content and text?
The other problem is even with using ASMA, I can't send email to multiple recipients. I can only do CC and TO for 1 person each - a total of 2. Although I can resolve this by creating mailing lists, it is better if this can be addressed in PI.
Thanks for any input you can provide!

Thank you for your response Mikael.
For the first question, I was able to find the solution in the following blog:
XI Mail Adapter : Dynamically building attachment and message body content using a simple UDF
(I just needed to search with the right set of key words )
The key is to set the "Content Encoding" as "None" in the mail adapter. If this is not done, the mail will be sent with an attachment - untitled.bin containing both the mail body and the attachment text. Also, don't forget to check the "Keep Attachments" checkbox in the mail adapter.
Multiple recipients could be added by separating the email IDs with a Comma. I have used ASMA to set the recipients.

  • "Invalid address" only when sending to multiple addresses

I can send an email to <username>@gmail.com and to <username>@mac.com, but if I try to send an email to both recipients at once, my mail server says "Invalid address" even though my colleague can send an email to those addresses without a problem.
Since my colleague can do it, it can't be the server; but I can't figure out the difference between my Mail configuration and his.
    Any ideas?

I found my own answer. I didn't have password authentication on for the outgoing server. Weird. I was able to send mail to individuals without a password, but couldn't send to multiple people.
    It's working now.
