Email update message incorrect

My email update message is incorrect. When sliding down the email list to update my emails it indicates correctly "checking for mail" then indicates "updated Saturday" even though it is Monday. The message before would indicate "updated just now". The only association I have is my download of the new outlook app on Saturday. Ironically the same date the message is referring to. I have deleted the outlook app and restarted the IPhone but the message is still incorrect.
Te emails appear to be coming in correctly it is just the message that is not right. This does not appear to affect the flow of messages. Only an iritated issue.
My IPhone is an IPhone 6 with the latest update 8.1.3

I understand that the time Mail shows it was updated is incorrect on your iPhone and you have already tried some great troubleshooting steps. In this situation, the first step I would recommend, if you have not done so already, would be to quit the Mail application specifically and start it fresh. Please use the attached article for information on quitting an iOS application.

Help please? Outlook 2011 stuck on 'updating message list' after deleting 1000's of emails from my 'deleted items' folder

Hello.
I've been searching online for an answer and can't find one - hopefully someone can help...
I recently updated to Yosemite and decided on a general clear-out, so went through 1000's of documents, photos, emails, etc. I ended up deleting the all of the emails in my 'deleted items' folder. Since then, when I go into Outlook and hit the 'send/receive' tab it logs on as normal, but then gets stuck on 'updating message list' - it shows me that there are emails and how many, but will not download them.
Does anyone have any experience of this?

This started about 3 days ago. I could manually push email through in the last few days but can no longer. I have deleted the account and re-entered the settings but I get a message that I cannot connect to the server.

Apps not updating wrong incorrect email

Every time I go to update my apps an incorrect ID appears which isn't my correct email address. Even if I login with my correct one when I go to do an update the incorrect one appears?

- Are you saying that if when you go to Settings>Store and make sure you are signed into your account, a different Apple ID is displayed when yur purchase a new app?
- If in iTunes and you right click on an app in your Library and select Ge Info, the iTunes account that purchased the app will be displayed in the Summary pane.

As part of my message reads above; I keep getting an i-tunes update message and when I click on the OK to download it, I get an error message saying there was a problem and I need to go to Tools>manual download. Well, I don't know how to do that even though I gave it my best try. I went to the support sight and it had the following message;

Let's first try updating using an installer file downloaded from the Apple Website:

HT201320 I have an ipad4 and when trying to register an account on a website my email address is not recognised even though it has been completed using autofill so it is correct. the websites keep telling me my email address is incorrect.

When I try to complete a registration form to join a website/ open an account using wifi on my ipad 4 I enter the details using Autofill.
Hence my email address is entered automatically and is 100% correct.
However I keep getting the same error message: your email address is incorrect.
My account is with BTYahoo and I am able to send and receive emails without any problems.
I' ve recently visited an Apple store and discussed this problem with a genius but they said they haven't encountered this problem before so we deleted my old account and added a new one with the same information but today I tried to join another website and again the email address isn't accepted.
Any help gratefully received.

Update - I deleted/re-added my account. Same issue. Also, no my Exchange calendar won't sync. Issue appears to be on the Exchange server. I see the following errors in my iPhone log:

Yes, they are registered for iMessage and IOS 5.0.1 update. A few days ago (10-12 days) the group messaging was working fine, but now the messages are being delivered to the email inox instead of iMessage app.

'Updating message list' from hotmail FROZEN - Please help!

My mom just purchased a new mac - I've purchased Outlook for her so she can easily download her hotmail messages. I've been cruising along, downloading the 17,511 messages she has on the server (I know!!) and it stopped halfway through. In the bottom righthand
corner of the Outlook mailbox it says' Updating message list' and then has a bar which usually is filling up as it pulls messages off the server - but now nothing is happening and it seems stuck on 0/7892 (that's the text on the right of the bar). Help! Why
is it stuck? I've done the whole process twice and it seems to get stuck here. I even checked online to see if I could delete some troubled file, but can't seem to go back that far on the server (even though it lists all 17K messages (as a number next to the

Hi Michi,
First, check your internet connection because the low server connectivity can make such a frozen disturbance in Outlook. Apart from it there can lots of reasons behind this disturbance:
Antivirus Programs: In most of the cases, these antivirus scanning programs pretend emails as malwares and does not allow Outlook to receive it.
Large Attachments: If someone sending large attachments as email then its also make Outlook froze up. So to overcome from this, stop downloading large emails.
Corruption in Outlook Data File: Corrupt Outlook data file is one of popular reason behind the disturbance like this. Use scanpst.exe to fix the corruption issue of Outlook database and
then again try to download emails. Hopefully it will work!!!
Problems in Outlook are not just limited to the above given reasons, there is list of errors and causes in Outlook data file and their resolution.

I have the 8330 curve, I've set my options to sepreate but my emails still appear in both folders. I would like to keep them seperate from my txts. Anyone else having this problem?

Email is messages, and your BIS account email will always go to the main messages folder.
To remove your SMS text messages to their own folder:
Open your Messages folder > Press the Menu key > Options > General Options and scroll down to:
Email and SMS inbox = Separate.
And save.
If you have already done that, find your SMS on your device, and you will find your SMS messages.

Why do i get email error message when e-mail is working ok and settings are correct pop3 email

can anyone help please, i am receiving email error message( cannot get mail user name and password for work is incorrect) I am using a pop3 email accessed from microsoft outlook on desktop pc, my emails come through onto phone sometimes but most of the time i get the error message. i have checked settings with my email provider and they are correct. my iphone5 provider is 02. any advice very much appreciated this is a very annoying problem thankyou

Check the thumbnails for exclamation marks, an indication of missing files. If you have moved images or folders using your computer operating system LR won’t know what you did and the original links will have been broken. You need to point LR to where you now keep the image(s) on your hard drive.

Nokia E72 = No email new messages notifications

I have setup Gmail email account on my E72 through nokia messaging. There are NO notifications whatsoever for this accounts - no flashing lights, no email icon on the bottom of the screen, no sound, ..etc. Only on the home screen Gmail showing unread messages.
I've tried all things to get this fixed,
-I've email notifications set in modes and email alert tone selected in profile
-Also in Control panel->settings->General->Personalization->Notifications lights-> events notified, has New email checked
-Synchronization I have: synchronize new updates->"on" , weekday and weekend synchronization -> "On all day" , synchronization interval -> "1 day" , timed synchronization->"on" and synchronization "always enabled", server name is "em1x-198.lhr.messaging.nokia.com"
-I've updated the phone software, still not notifications, I've the SMS notifications working correctly but not the email new message.
Don't know what's wrong or what can be missing.
Even on an old 6120 i had email notifications on the home screen working correctly.
Please if anybody had this issue and solved it update me asap and thanks for you time .
I've contacted the Nokia careline, they told me to remove/recreate my email account from both my phone and http://email.nokia.com, i did and after that they sent me a Dummy settings ( enable " Email alert tone " and "Vibrating alert" which i had it already set , but I've noticed that today in morning I've got the new messages notifications working for about 10 hours then after I've used to plug the phone to my pc using the USB cable, notification stopped and cant' get it working again till now, even after I've restarted the phone and disconnected/reconnected the mail account. Don't know what's really wrong.
Also i don't know which Nokia messaging version I'm using cause they've mentioned another settings for version 3.0

The problem? It's actually pretty simple: Microsoft implemented their mail processing in a way that has greatly assisted folks using Microsoft products and Microsoft platforms, and established an "export" mechanism when communicating via mail in heterogeneous computing environments. Microsoft tools including Microsoft Exchange Server and their systems running Microsoft Windows are a good and very capable mail environment system, with great scale and very well integrated mail, calendar and related processing, and some exceedingly useful tools including SharePoint that have no real analog with OS X, Unix or Linux systems. But these tools don't necessarily interoperate entirely nicely in heterogeneous environments; with non-Microsoft tools and platforms.
The winmail.dat mechanism is a part of the whole Microsoft infrastructure, and particularly when the information is being "exported" out from the Microsoft environment, and into a non-Windows and non-Exchange environment. The determinate here involves the settings chosen by the various senders. (Possibly also by the defaults chosen by the administrator of the Exchange Server(s) involved, but I haven't checked that.)
Here's the Microsoft knowledge base article that describes the specificss of the winmail.dat file.
There are tools around to read the TNEF-format winmail.dat files on OS X and other platforms, including TNEF's enough for OS X, and likely various other tools. Or get your senders to reconfigure their settings for you when they're sending messages to you, as described in the Microsoft KB article.

Help regarding SMTP Email Send Message

Hello everyone,
i am working on the SMTP Email Send Message using labview . i have connected the terminals as suggested in the Context Help and i can run the VI but a keep getting a lot of errors.
Needless to say i cant send the mail .
i have enclosed the vi , shall be grateful if somone can suggest any modifications so that the VI works.
I have also seen the GMAIL.vi but dont want to use as it seems complicated.

i delved more into SMTP in Google and found out the following steps:
Open up a command prompt (CMD.exe)
Type nslookup and hit enter
Type set type=MX and hit enter
Type the domain name and hit enter, for example: google.com
The results will be a list of host names that are set up for SMTP
I am attaching a pic of my cmd after executing the steps. I updated the mail server in the SMTP Email Send Message block diagram and i got an error. i have also attached the pic for that
It would be very kind of you if you could guide me through
