Email validation technical error

I am unable to validate the MyBT account, when I get emailed out the validation link it seems to be missing something, https://www.bt.com/customeraccount/yourprofile/sec​ure/consumer/validateemaillink.do?security_code= ,
and just results in an error, can't get onto my bills and payments because of this.. it's been like this for about a week now, any ideas?

    in B1if you can define a customized error handling for your scenario package.
    Please select your deactivated package via Scenarios -> Package design, and click Definitions button.
    In the drop down-list, select Error Handling.
    In the opening window, please click the Info button to see at which places a customized error handling can be implemented in general.
    As prerequisite for such a customized error handling an special "error scenario step" needs to be implemented first, otherwise you cannot select another than "default error handling".

  • [CUP 5.3] Error while email validation

    Hello all,
    Anyone seen this before in CUP 5.3 SP15?
    I have an access request form in which I allow user lookup. The user lookup is linked with an SAP HR system.
    When I search users on name, only the users that have an emailaddress filled in in the infotypes show up in my list. Users without an emailaddress are not shown. I can only get them in my search results when I specifically search for them on user ID.
    When I then select the user without emailaddress and insert him/her into my access request form, I always receive the "error creating request" message. The log tells me:
    2011-09-20 15:29:28,326 [SAPEngine_Application_Thread[impl:3]_24] ERROR  EUCreateRequestAction.java@224:loadHandler() : Error while email validation = E-mail address
    Users with an emailaddress are no problem.
    Even when I fill in an emailaddress manually, CUP apparently keeps using the emailaddress from the infotype.
    Anyone know how to resolve this?

    Hello Srihari,
    User Email Address is a Mandatory field which cannot be changed. The only option to change is to turn off "Editable". However, if I do that I receive the warning "It is better to make the field editable, because the end user cannot submit the request, if the field value is not available in the user's data source".
    I know that the best solution/workaround is to make sure that all users in the HR list have an emailaddress, so we are going to follow up on this with a script. Still, I would like to know why I can't find nor work with users that don't have an emailaddress, and why I can't update their emailaddress myself manually via the CUP.

  • Spry validation textfield errors are appearing as regular text

    I am trying to create a simple email contact form using two spry validation text fields and one spry validation textarea. I inserted a spry validation text field called "Name", and then a second below it called "email" and then a spry validation textarea called "message" I gave the email field an email validation to come on at Blur, and a textarea character count validation of no more than 400 characters. The problem is that the error messages are appearing as soon as the page is loaded, they are bypassing their initial states. They say: "A value is required.Invalid format." and "A value is required.Exceeded maximum number of characters."

    It's caused by wrong/missing value mapping -- for some certain field,B1 accepts 'tNO' or 'tYES' only , but in R3 the corresponding field has some other values. Error occurs when the value is not correctly "translated".
    I guess it's the field "CollectionAuthorization" that hasn't been configurated with proper value mapping. But I'm not sure, need to check the error payload.

  • BDOCs in status E01 - Technical Error

    We are using CRM 7.0 with service order.
    We have BDOCs that created automatically after creation of service order or changing in BP details and got stuck in the system and were not processed  (SMW03) .
    The BDOCs types:
    BUPA_MAIN
    BUS_TRANS_MSG
    These BDOCs entered into queues in SMQ2 in status ready.
    In order these BDOCs will be read automatically, we registered the queues which started with CSA* in SMQR.
    Unfortunately, the BDOCs still not processed and now in status E01 u2013 Technical Error (incomplete).
    The messages are for each type (BUPA_MAIN and BUS_TRANS_MSG respectively) are:
    u201CCould not determine module name: BUPA_MAIN GENKEY: REP_GET_RECIPIENTu201D
    u201CService that caused the error: SMOH_REPLICATION_WRAPPER_MSGu201D
    Could not determine module name: BUS_TRANSACTION_MESSAGE GENKEY: REP_GET_RECIPIENTu201D
    u201CService that caused the error: SMOH_REPLICATION_ERAPPER_MSGu201D
    It is important to mention that these BDOCs were not deleted in order not damage data that suppose to be uploaded to the BI.
    Due to security issues, we cannot provide connection to the system.

    - Missing functionality (implementation problems)

    Possibly the inbound s-flow definition (transaction SMO8FD) is not correct
    (services do not exist or have syntax error) or the rejection handling in case
    of validation errors is not correct.
    Solution:
    - If no validation errors and no receiver errors exist, retry to process the
    message. Otherwise (if no retry possible) correct the error, send the changes
    from the sender site (usually Mobile Client) again if possible or request the
    data from the leading system to the different receivers and mark the original
    failed BDoc message to u201Cdeletedu201D.

    validation module. This requires knowledge in the implementation of the
    validation module (and application logic). Look for notes related to that

    Possibly there is something wrong inside the Mobile Bridge or in the following
    services of the s-flow (like CDB update).
    Re-process the message (this is allowed for testing purposes; be careful in
    the case of a production system, especially if the data in the BDoc message
    is not current) or request the data from the sender or from the original system
    (this is usually possible for master data but not always for transactional data).

    I keep getting to the final page and i get a "Technical Error" and then the message that i can still order online?!!!!??!?!

    This report is working fine in Production. But it is not working in Development Database.
    Development database is the image of Production system.
    Any reason for this Error?

    Hi, I had the same problem. I finally figured it out. Plug in the USB cord to your ipad, but beofre plugging it into your computer make sure your ipad is not in the locked or sleep mode. Once I did this, my photos showed up and started downloading. Hope that helps you!

    The details/ID in NWDS Service Reference must exactly match the SOA configuration. Sometimes it's possible you have changed the reference or the group itself and something changed to become mismatched.
    It's possible they don't match - but the SG itself will show green in NWA since the service exists and responds on the target system. Does the ID listed in the error match what is shown in the NWDS project?

  • Technical Error when uploading a file using java 1.6.0_17

    When I'm uploading a mp3 file size 84.01 Mb i get the following message:

    A box is ticked if you always trust the content from this publisher and then there is the option to run or cancel.
    The Message then states that The digital signature was generated with a trusted certificate but has expired.
    I then choose to run the application.
    I then choose the file from my hard drive to upload(a mp3 file 84.01 Mb), select upload and then the file gets to about 5-7% uploaded and then a message appears Technical Error with an x in a 8 sided pink 2D figure.

    Connection reset by peer: socket write errorThat says that the server, where the file comes from, closed the connection.
    The most likely possibilities
    1. The client software is not correctly communicating with the server. Solution: fix the client
    2. The server is not correctly handling this request. Solution: fix the server
    3. The server doesn't want to talk the the client. Solution: fix both the server and the client.
    From the above unless you are in a position to fix something then you do not have an option.
    If you yourself cannot fix either of those then this is a vendor problem and you must contact the vendor (creator) of the software client and/or server. You would do that somewhere besides this site.

    We did a database upgrade from 9.2.0.1 to 11gR2 and after that everything is working fine.
    But now we noticed that the users are getting ORA-01843 Not a valid month Error.
    I changed the NLS_DATE_FORMAT in the init.ora file, but still the error persist.
    As a work around I changed the NLS_DATE_FORMAT=DD-MM-YYYY on the client pc registry and now its working in that pc..
    Is there any other way so that the change gets affected globally ??
    Any tips

    MaheshNLS_DATE_FORMAT can be set in multiple places, but it's not an either/or situation. Setting it in an init parm at the db level is the WEAKEST setting. That setting is overridden by the client OS, which in turn can be overridden by an ALTER SESSION, which in turn can be overridden by use of TO_CHAR and TO_DATE at the individual sql statement. and if the date is being entered by a human at a keyboard (actually keyed in, not picked from a calendar tool or some sort of drop-down pick list) you really have no direct control over the format of the string they key in. So ultimately it is up to the application to insure that character strings presented as dates are in the correct format.
    Which is why I advise developers to ALWAYS use to_char and to_date at the sql statement level. It is the only way they can insure control over the setting.

  • Disk Utility - No valid packages error

    I've deleted the contents of my /library/receipts/ folder and now I cannot repair permissions using Disk Utility. It now spits out a "No valid packages" error and cannot proceed. I never thought these .pkgs were important to Disk Utility.
    Is there any way to make this work again? Will the removal of these packages affect the performance of the OS?
