if this has been solved before please post links.i seem to be having trouble with my email accounts, this is the first time it has happened.when i go to email setup on my device and try to verify it tells me that my information is incorrect wich i ofcourse know is not.ok so i go into the blackberry internet service and try to set up a new account so i can fix this i enter my pin and imei it tells me im not registered so i go back to my device and register  then go back to bis and try to register again still tells me the same.so none of this is working.im getting irritated..or am i just stupid.any help at all would be appreciated ..also tried taking battery out for 30 sec still doesnt help..tried deleting all the email accounts and then linking them again,..nothing seems to work.total annoyance!!!!

    I am having the same problems some other members are having regarding receiving an email verification message. When I select a new email address I can receive the verification emial. If I use my previous email address, which is the one that I need, I receive no email verification at all. How can this be corrected?

    Make sure you spelled your email correctly when you entered it. To check this on your device go into backup and top the drop down in the top left. Select Palm Profile and enter your password. In here you can send another verification email to your email address, change your email.  Check if you spelled the email correctly. (A lot of times the issue is your mail is .net and you entered .com) If you did check your spam folders and see if you have one from a us that looks like this address [email protected]
    If you have more trouble post back.

    Is there a way the rest of us can also resolve this when the verification also never arrives in my Yahoo mail.  I've checked my spam folder too, added the best buy email address to my contacts, waiting for a long time, but no luck either.  I would like to make a purchase tonight.  After never recieving the verification code, I tried to reset my password and no reply either from Best Buy.   (Note emails from www.forums.bestbuy.com work fine, but this doesnt allow me onto the main Best Site!)

  • Email verificati​on page down and Blackberry identity update needed for app world

    Hey!
    don't know if anyone can help me, but I just got a Blackberry and did the whole creating a Blackberry id etc, now when I want to confirm my email address it says that the email confirmation feature is currently unavailable? Its been like that for 5 days now! And that sucks seeing as the link is only valid for 24 hours? wtf? How am I supposed to confirm in 24 hours if the link is down for more than that?!!!!!!
    So as a result I cannot use app world as every time I go on it says 'a blackberry identity update is needed. Would you like to install now?' I then click yes and it then proceeds to tell me that my 'blackberry identity installation failed. Please try again later (80003), I can try until I am blue in the face without the admin fixing that **bleep** link its never going to work!!!!!!!!!!
    CAN ANYONE PLEASE SAVE THIS POOR DISTRESSED DAMSEL BEFORE I LAUNCHE THIS PHONE OUT OF THE WINDOW AND GO BUY A NOKIA?

    When I try to log into my account on bestbuy.com, it says I need to verify my account. I've tried to log in a few times, but I never get an email. The email address with my best buy account is the same email with this account. I've checked the spam folder, and haven't seen it there either.

  • Unable to link accounts (RZ and BB) - verificati​on email never sent

    Hi there,
    I've spent a few hours on the phone trying to get this sorted and the help is always courteous and friendly, but I can't seem to get my issue solved.
    I got the dreaded "we're experiencing technical difficulties" message when I tried to add items to my cart.  Calling up revealed a lot of very old numbers and information, so we got that cleared out. 
    Then the cart was resolved, and I had to change my password.
    The only thing remaining is linking my accounts.  I get through it all, enter my number and get the "verification email sent" and get nothing. 
    All the BB emails show up (from account changes etc.) and nothing goes to the spam folder. 
    The last time I called, the lady said she'd place a ticket with the technical account department or somesuch and they'd get it resolved. That was a few weeks ago and I still can't link the accounts. 
    Is it possible that my email is set to "bounce" and you can uncheck that for me, please?

    When I try to reset my password, the password reset never comes to my inbox.  If I try to login to bestbuy.com with what I think my password is, it says a verification email has been sent to my email address, yet I never recieve it.  help?

    Start here, change your country if necessary and go to manage your account.
    Also check your Mail rules and filtering, the verification mail may be going to a junk folder or even being deleted altogether. You may also wish to contact your mail provider to see if their spam filters are removing the email before it gets to you.

    The following Knowledge Base article offers up some great steps for resending the verification email:

    When you first create an Apple ID (using your email address) a verification email is sent to that address. If you sign in to your Apple ID from the link in that email, the email address is verified as the primary email address for your Apple ID. You can also resend the email verification if the email address is not verified:

    Click Resend under Primary Email Address.                      
    Verify your changes by following the link in the email you receive from Apple, then signing back in to your account.

  • Cannot send email from iPad2 with Shaw

    I have issues that I cannot seem to resolve:
    I can receive from my shaw account but it sends all outgoing to the Outbox - I've double, triple cheked all incoming and outgoing servers - I even sat with my iPad next to my iMac to make sure everything matched.
    it says  The sender address "myemailadrees.com" was rejected by the server. even though I recive ok.
    Help please??

    I too have spend countless hours trying to get my iPad 2 to work with my Shaw email.  I FINALLY got it to work this morning after about 3 months of trying different "solutions".  Here is how I set my POP email account:
    Incoming mail server:
    Host name:  shawmail.ed.shawcable.net (I live in Edmonton)
    User name: my shaw email address without the @shaw.ca
    Password: my Shaw email password
    Outgoing mail server:
    Host name:  shawmail.ed.shawcable.net (I live in Edmonton)
    User name: leave blank
    Password: leave blank
    Use SSL: off
    Server port: 25
    This has worked so far for me, so hopefully it will work for others as well.  It seems like there is an lot of people on these forums going through the same frustrations.  I was able to set both mine and my wife's email accounts on my iPad.

    I know, you can have multiple email accounts. i have 3 on my iphone 4. But if my wife, daughter, and I all use the ipad. Can you set up email to ask for what account to load?
    Again, i know you can switch after the fact. I am trying to avoid the scenario where I may see my daughter email, or my wife may see mine. Not that we have anything to hide. But if i order flowers or something, i wouldn't want here to inadvertently see the conf email because ipad defaulted to my account.

    Perhaps consider setting your family up with Gmail accounts. Gmail (Google's email service, even though you probably already knew that) is totally free and has an awesome web interface, especially on the iPad. Then each member of your family could log in/out of their Gmail accounts using mobile Safari.
