Email verification of a new Adobe ID

I have previously used an old email address to try out the 30 day free trial of Creative Cloud. I have since purchased the 1 year subscription and used a different Adobe ID to do so. When trying to verify my new account, the app manager keeps recognizing the old one and won't allow my to sign in. Any help is appreciated!

You just need to log in with out account & sign out after logging in with that account  Sign out, Sign in | Creative Cloud Desktop app, the alternate option can be to try to choose " Not my Adobe ID" when it asks you to sign & use the ID that is registered.
Let us know if the issue is resolved or not.

    If you mean the E-mail Verification code, you should be able to get a new one yourself.
    Assuming that you have set up the preferences to use the Adobe E-mail service, if you go through the various steps to send a photo, you will eventually get to the screen that asks for the verification code. There should be a button that says Resend Code (or something similar) - click on that and it should send a new code to your email address. It may take a little while to get though to you.

  • Trying to set up new Apple ID - email verification NOT working

    Hi all,
    Just a quick query:
    I've purchased a new iPhone 4s today and am having trouble setting up an Apple ID.
    After following the email verification link sent to my GMAIL account, I entered my Apple ID and p/w, and it returned the following message:
    This email address is already in use or you may already have an Apple ID associated with this email address. Please try again or sign in using your existing Apple ID.
    Thinking perhaps I'd set one up previously and had just forgotten the details I then set up and entirely new email account - this time with yahoo. And after following the same steps I was again faced with the above message!
    In another twist, I've set up yet another entirely new account - this time with hotmail - and now, I'm not even receiving the email verification to my inbox.
    Would appreciate any and all feedback as this is extremely frustrating! Cannot download any apps/music/anything without an Apple ID!!

    I have been attempting this since November 17 in the evening.  I've been trying to get help on the support line but no one is helping.  I get the same message not matter what e-mail address I try to use to set up an Apple Id.  We tried in my name with my e-mail address and my husband's name with his e-mail address.  When the e-mail comes to verifty, my results are:   "This e-mail address is already in use or you may already have........"  Same problem.  Has anyone been able to get some acknowledgement from support that there is a problem?

    We have a new requirement user registration , when a new user registers with us he has to fill out a simple form with email address username , password etc we save all this detail and a flag that his email verification is pending .Next our application has to verify he gave us right email address for that we send an email with a link, opening this link we update our database the flag as verified email address, something like posting to forums I have to confirm my subscription by replying to the email wicket forums sends , please suggest me is there anything available which I can use than doing all that stuff I mentioned above ?

    Hello - absolutely! You just need to make sure that your Behance account is linked with that Adobe ID. Please login to your Behance account, then visit this link and choose "use a different Adobe ID" and enter your new Adobe ID with the CC account. From then on, you'll use that email address to login to Behance:Behance

  • Since changing our computer I have been unable to download ebooks to my Reader Library I get a message Some file types associated with EPUB files are not associated with Reader Library; Waterstones suggest that I may have accidentally created a new Adobe

    When I try to download them from the Waterstones website I get a message saying:
    ‘Some file types associated with EPUB files are not associated with Reader Library.  Do you want to associate them now?  When I reply yes I get another message; ‘Configuration error unable to update EPUB files check network firewall and try again’.
    The ‘books’ are saved in the Download directory and I can’t transfer them from there to my E-Reader. I have not had any problems before, it was very simple; I saved the download and it automatically went into the Reader Library.
    I contacted HP and they said it is a software error and suggested I contact Waterstones.  I contacted Waterstones Customer Support and got the following response:
    As the error message is specifically mentioning the firewall it does sound like something in the firewall settings is stopping the download from taking place correctly. However, the files should not be being saved to the Download folder. It would be worth trying again by going to your Digital Order History on your Waterstones.com account and pressing the download button, and then making sure to press "Open" not "Save". When you press Open rather than Save it should give the option to open the file with Adobe Digital Editions. If the firewall message still comes up then I'm afraid something is blocking it on your end.
    If the above "Open" download method works but you then still get an error message it could possibly be that you have accidentally created a new Adobe ID when setting up on the new computer, rather than signing in with your old Adobe ID. It would be worth trying the aforementioned download technique again first, but if problems did still persist it would be worth calling Adobe themselves on 0207 365 0735, as they should be able to sort out any account issue.
      In response to the first para of Waterstones email I already do what they suggest I do press ‘Open’ not ‘Save’ but I don’t get the open with Adobe Digital Editions (we have installed Adobe Digital Editions on the new computer. Waterstones say we may have ‘accidentally created a new Adobe ID when setting up the new computer’ does that mean that we shouldn’t have installed Adobe Digital Editions on the new computer as it would have already been there? How do I sign in with my old Adobe ID? 

    Hi all after attampting to get some supoport from adobe by phone.... nice people infurating policys as far as support for digital editions or DRM is conserned... However I got no where with support.
    I ended up instaling Digital editions on my desktop PC and going through the motions of registering and borrowing a book then returning it. Then I trying on my iPad, Bluefire worked, Over drive did not so I completely removed Overdrive and reinstalled and re registered. all working now.
    Maybe some one at adobe did something. Maybe the install of the adobe DE client on a PC corrected what ever was out of wack with my account. Mayby the server that my account lives on did a scan disk and corrected a bad clustrer.
    What ever happend My account is actiove and working again. hope this helps others.

  • I am not able to access my icloud account as the apple id it defaults to no longer exists and when i try to use it by resetting the password it says email verification sent but I never receive anything.  It is hung up on verifying and I can not do a thing

    The apple id I used to set up my ipad no longer exists and it is the same id for icloud and itunes.  I have changed my apple id but can not access my icloud account to change the id.  I am hung up on "verifying" and have tried everything.  It does not send any emails verification even though it says it has sent it.  I have trie the security questions and it says wrong birthdate but it is not the wrong birthdate.  I can not delete the account without a password and when I enter the password that was originally with that id it says wrong password.  As a result I am not able to update twitter, facebook, etc and basically unable to do anything until I can delete and reestablish this icloud account. 

    If the old ID is yours, and if your current ID was created by editing the details of this old ID (rather than being an entirely new ID), go to https://appleid.apple.com, click Manage my Apple ID and sign in with your current iCloud ID.  Click edit next to the primary email account, change it back to your old email address and save the change.  Then edit the name of the account to change it back to your old email address.  You can now use your current password to turn off Find My iDevice, even though it prompts you for the password for your old account ID. Then save any photo stream photos that you wish to keep to your camera roll.  When finished go to Settings>iCloud, tap Delete Account and choose Delete from My iDevice when prompted (your iCloud data will still be in iCloud).  Next, go back to https://appleid.apple.com and change your primary email address and iCloud ID name back to the way it was.  Now you can go to Settings>iCloud and sign in with your current iCloud ID and password.

  • Activation issue with new Adobe form in subsequent systems

    Hi All,
    I'm facing an strange issue in activating Adobe form.
    The new Adobe form is copied from an existing form and assigned to a new output type of PO.
    After tested successfully in Dev, we transport it to Q environment and other subsequent systems
    But we will always get PO updating termincation error in Q and other systems firstly.
    We go to SFP transaction and regenerated the Form there once, only after that it works perfectly and no termination error any more.
      I'm not sure if I missed any step to activate the Adobe form as this is the 1st time I'm working on a new Adobe form.
      I did activate the Adobe interface and form before releasing and TR consistency check was also carried.
      Please let me kow if you faced the similar issue and what's the possible cause?

    not really, someone else mentioned that it could be done and they said they saw it before.  I've been beating myself up for a while trying to figure out how to get it to happen.   Is there an easy way to get the content of the pdf form into an email body with plain text when pressing a submit by email button?
    Such as...
    <label name>: <txtfield content>
    First name:  <txtfield content>
    ...etc..

    I have to reformat my Color Nook, however, my Nook email address & my Adobe ID don't match. My solution to this is to uninstall & reinstall ADE, get a new Adobe ID & then reformat my Nook.I feel this will clean up two problems at once - my reformatting & errors & unnecessary files that I have on my Nook &/or in ADE. I have a few books though that I bought through non-BN sites that are no longer available on those sites. If I manually remove these books from my ADE, save them in a file on my PC, uninstall & reinstall ADE on my pc, can put them back into the new ADE under my new ID? I would like to save them, if possible. I originally bought/received them on a pc I still have but I use a laptop more often now. Do you think I will need to transfer them from the desktop so ADE knows that they are "mine"?
    Does anyone have any ideas here? Any input or suggestions will be appreciated!

    You can switch between Adobe ID's in ADE, so you may not need to reinstall
    (which can screw everything up, because unless you remove certain files,
    ADE will use them, rather than recreate them.  That's both a benefit and a
    handicap, depending on what you're trying to do.  Just deauthorize the
    computer with the CtlShiftD key sequence, and then go to Library view,
    click on the small arrow next to the word 'Library', and pick 'Authorize
    Computer' from the drop-down menu that will appear.  Try it first, to see
    if it will do what you think you need to do.
    Now for the bad news.  The way ADE works is to associate whatever ebooks
    you download with the ID in use at the time (you can get a good
    understanding of this from ADE Help - F1 key from Library or Reading
    view).  So, you cannot access ebooks you downloaded under one Adobe ID from
    another Adobe ID.  That's part of the implementation of digital rights -
    DRM for short.
    You can transfer files from one PC to another.  That's covered also in the
    Help files.  Just remember that the ID's must be the same ones....

    I access a file on the internet that is a pdf adobe then downloads it the download bar comes up it finishes but dosen't ever open  I wait and wait nothing . then I find the link copy it  open Adobe reader from my desktop click on file open and paste the link I was tring to read in there and it opens the file? I have never had a problem like that before with adobe so I even downloaded the latest update again and found it still had the same issue I even used the repair option in adobe and have still had the same result .
    PS  I also had spoken to a colleage who has simular problems now also with new adobe he is a programmer and will be writing in too.

    No... Adobe Reader DOESN'T download it... THAT'S (downloading ANYTHING) a browser function ONLY. It's also a browser setting ONLY (whether to view it or download it). Downloading the PDF is only half the task. Unless you have your BROWSER set to "open" the PDf upon completion of the download, it will "sit" wherever you downloaded it UNTIL you double click it, or open Reader and click File>Open and choose it.
    As Pat stated, we need to know your OS and browser to provide the correct solution for you.

    I have had ADE and Sony Reader for PC for some years without any major problems. Recently I have been having some issues downloading a particular book - the acsm would not download the file from Google Play Books. In trying to fix this I seem to have created a far worse problem.
    One of the fixes suggested was to ensure my computer was properly authorised - but I was unsure of my password on my Adobe account linked to an old and defunct email.  Not knowing what else to do I created a new account with my current email address, big mistake.
    Adobe have now rather unhelpfully removed the DRM from all my legitmately pruchased books as they were purchased on my old account. I cannot open any book now either on my laptop or my ereader and I have no way of accessing the old Adobe account.
    My computer is running Windows Vista and my ereader is Sony PRS T1, I suspect that this can only be resolved by Adobe linking or merging my accounts but if anyone can help  I would be very grateful.
