Emailing Activities with attachments from SAP

Our customer is on 88 PL 18 using MS Outlook 2010.  They are using Outlook integration.
They send out Activities from SAP throughout the day.  A few of the sales members notice when they have several attachments included in the Activities and sent it as an email from SAP they get an error of B02069, Failed to send E-mail via Microsoft Outlook.    The latest example was 4 attachments in a Activity.  It is not a size limit issue as the 4 attachments only totaled 2 mg yet the error noted above popped up.
Is there a limit on the number of attachments in Activities.  Could this be an issue with the B1_shr folder?
Tried this and no go, Re: Outlook message sending

Hi,
The size of 2mb might be matter here. Have you checked if you have any bigger size email message sent out without problem in regardless of number of attachments.
Thanks,
Gordon

    Hi there,
Is there a way to email a customer invoice from SAP CRM7 using SAP ERMS?
With SAP CRM4, we are able to open up the invoice and click on the email icon. This will launch a new email from outlook with the bill attached.
I'm looking for a more integrated way to email an invoice using ERMS within SAP.

    Hi Catherine,
What if you use the action profile for sending the email?.

  • Migrate DMS DIRS with originals from SAP R/3 4.6 C to ECC6

    Dear All,
I have a requirement to transfer all DMS master data with originals from SAP R/3 4.6C to ECC6. Presently the R/3 4.6 c has 3 instances with 3 different content servers. I have to transfer the master data of all 3 instances in one on ECC6 along with the originals from all 3 content servers.
One way i know is through BDC, but the originals are on the content servers not on the local machine. So kindly suggest me if this can be done through any other method easily.
    Expecting your kind attention.

  • Unable to move email with attachments from local folders to icloud

I'm in the process of migrating my email to icloud. I've been able to move all emails without attacments from local folders to the cloud but evrytime I try to move emails with attachments I get one of two errors, either the imap server times out or it's unable to establish a secure connection (SSL).
Anyone else come across this or point me in the right direction.
And yes - I have been searching Google all afternoon and have not been able to find anything.

I do not have an answer to your problem but am interested in following this thread because I would like to get off the Mail application and do everything in iCloud.  My problem is I have a ton of messages in Mail folders, on my MacAir. I don't know how to get them to iCloud folders.  At this point I keep the attachments in folders on the HD so I don't need the attachments to come but I do need the message.

Just upload the document from the desktop and attach it to your e-mail.  There are thousands of posts on this forum about sending e-mails and document attchments - what exactly are you stuck on?  Is it getting the the path to the Desktop without the user picking the location?  Why is that difficult?

  • Creating mails with attachments from flat text files

    Hello XI community-
we need to send emails containing attachments via the email adapter. The input comes from a flat ascii file.
The source file contains the message body, receiver and one or more lines that have to be converted into one or more (text) attachments.
As far as I know, the mail adapter can create attachments only from SOAP attachments.
Does anybody know a way to create SOAP attachments from the message payload?
    Cheers,

  • Deleting attachments from SAP documents (FB02)

I am in need to control the action of 'deleting/removing' attachments from documents, when entered via FB02.
I believe the authorization object for attached documents is S_BDS_DS.
Does anyone how to 'enable' or 'disable' this activity ?
--- When run FB02 or FB03, at the upper corner you click on the 'Services for Object' button,
--- Then, you select the 'Attachment List' option
--- Next, you have a new window with a list of attachments, if any
Within that window there is the 'delete (recycle bin) button.
    How can I activate/deactivate it ?
    Best regards,
    Tom

Hari, thank you for your reply!
My question is "How to enable/disable the action of deleting the attachment" ?
Once the window that lists the attachment(s) opens up (via FB02) , how do I show / don't show the recycle bin button ?
    Best regards,

  • UCC 128 labels with barcodes - from SAP directly onto Zebra

Hi - I am trying to find a solution that would help our business print ucc 128 labels with barcodes directly from SAP onto Zebra printers. Till now, I had our basis team configure the printer and I ran a sample print program using SAPScript. The sample text data that the program had did print onto the label. What I am not sure about is the barcodes.
How to print a complete 4 (Width) X 6 (Height) label on a Zebra printer with barcodes.

  • Email to distribution list from SAP Internal Email

I have a scenario where in I have to send email from sap internal email (T-code:-SBWP) to the distribution list.
Can some one give me some idea on the same .
When we go to T-code: - SBWP, for unread email we right click and fwd the email to distribution list, can we achieve the same functionality by a program so that we can automate the process.
    Thanks in Advance.
    Regards,
    Pawan.

    Hi,
Yes ,one can write an ABAP code to send the mail to a distribution list.
Please try and use the Function Module 'SO_NEW_DOCUMENT_SEND_API1' and you need to pass the import and export parameters to this FM which needs to be defined and populated before you use this FM.
The first Exporting parameter is 'document_data' which will be of type 'sodocchgi1'.In order to populate this, you can use the structure of type 'sodocchgi1' and give the name, description, sensitivity and the language by referring to the data type mentioned above('sodocchgi1').
The next is the document type and you can mention any one of them from 'RAW' to anything again refering to the document type.
The next are the tables parameters and the first one is "object_content" which would be of type "solisti1" and you need to populate this one as well. This table would contain the contents of the mail.
The next Tables parameters is "receivers" which would be of type 'somlreci1' and in order to populate this, you need to use the below like code:
smtp_addr = any valid email id.
          gi_recievers-receiver = smtp_addr.
          gi_recievers-rec_type = 'U'.
          gi_recievers-com_type = 'INT'.
          APPEND gi_recievers.
once this is done, an email will be sent to the recipient which can be monitored in the T-code SCOT and SOST.It will take sometime for the mail to be sent as there is a fixed timeline after which the R/3 system pushes the mails through it to the recipients.
I guess, I have tried to answer your question.
In case of any queries, please let me know.
    Regards,
    Puneet Jhari.
