Emailing Payment Advice

I am using SAP 4.7C
Can somebody please tell me if I want to email Payment Advice to my vendor, can I do it through SAP. Please keep this thing in mind that I DONT WANT to use automatic payment method F110.
But still needs to generate Payment advice from f-53. Can it be possible.

    I have successfully implemented the function module to allow emailing of payment advices but have a new requirement for the ability to email payment advices to multiple recipients.  I am using the communication area in the vendor master maintenance to enter the email addresses.  The z_process_2040 function module returns all of the email addresses but I'm looking for suggestions on how to repeat the output for each of the addresses returned. Has anyone done this successfully?  Thanks in advance for your help.

  • Email payment advice for multiple emails

    Hi There,
    I have configured the BTE 00002040, every thing works perfectly to send the payment advice to a single email id from vendor master but out client wants a copy of the payment advice also to sent to their group email id, so with the help of our abaper we are trying to hard code the group email id and try to send the email to both vendor email id and group email id but is it nor working.
    Can any body tell me how to send the payment advice to multiple emails?

    We tried this but for some reason it is not working, i know some body else also suggested the same on SDN but no luck.
    It works fine for one emaild from vendor master but not when we put the group email id in the program as a hard code.
    pl let me know, if you have any other thoughts.

  • BTE-Process 2040 email payment advice to Vendors

    Hi All,
    Now I am able to send emails with attchment using this BTE .Now I need to send the content of the Attatchment as BODy of Email.
    Is there any other procedure to send the content in to Body of email.
    I found thefield  FINAA-MAIL_BODY_FORMAT which  is currently not supported;

    Copy the function module "SAMPLE_PROCESS_00002040" along with source code into "ZSAMPLE_PROCESS_00002040".
    From transaction FIBF:
    1)Choose Settings ---> Products ---> Of a customer. Define a product for example 00002040 and check active check box and save the entries and go back.
    2) Choose Settings -> Process Modules-> Of a customer.
    Define the process 00002040 in the function module, use ""ZSAMPLE_PROCESS_00002040" and assign the process 00002040.
    This will send an email to the vendor if Mail server is set up in transaction SCOT.

    Hi SAP Gurus,
    Today we are printing email advices to our vendors, we would like to change this so that we can email payment advices to our vendors.
    I have looked at different messages here at SDN, but I cannot get it to work.
    I have in FIBF - settings, process modules and customer - created Z_SAMPLE_Process_00002040.
    We are using form F110_IN_AVIS.
    We are using payment medium program RFFOEDI1.
    I have defined a email adress on the vendor and set the standard communication mth. to INT E.Mail.
    But it is not working, what am I missing ?.

    Dear Pernille,
    please kindly check the following hints to help you:
    1) Please check whether you selected the check box in the variant
    configuration "print payment advice".  The variant is of the variant
    that you maintain in the printout/data medium tab of transaction F110.
    2) Unfortunately it's technically not possible to send remittance
    advices per e-mail and to spool at the same time. You can only either
    send advices per e-mail or send them to spool. This is the standard
    system design.
    3) Please check FBZP to the desired company code and payment method to
    see if the customer has selected the flag "NoPaymentAdv.". It must be
    set as "Always payment Advice" and afterwards the advices via e-mail is
    executed.
    4) Please refer the documentation on the sample function module:
    'SAMPLE_PROCESS_00002040' in FIBF by following the Menu Path:
    FIBF > Environment > Infosystem (Processes) > Click 'Execute' >
    Select: 00002040 Autom. pmnt transactns: Output of pmnt advice note
    5) To send a business partner a payment advice note by fax or email,You
    must use the process interface 00002040 (Business Transaction Events)
    define the selection of the message type (printout, fax or email).
    Before you can do this, however, you must have carried out the
    necessary technical (Basis) settings for faxing or sending emails.
    6) Also consider the SAP note 836169.

  • Change sender email address for payment advice

    Hi,
    I used FIBF to activate BTE 2040 to allow me email Payment Advice. This is working well and takes the 'Sender' email address from the user master data. I don't want to use the user master data so does anyone know how/where to change the sender email in the code?
    I have copied SAMPLE_PROCESS_00002040 and can implement 2050 if needed but that seems to only modify the text of the mail - not the sender email?

    Hi, All,
    I have set up email payment advice notes. So if vendors have email addresses maintained, the process will sent out emaisl. Otherwise, it will print out. But after the process I only got the summary report for those printed ones. Those emailed out are not counted in. Is there any body know how to get summary report for emailed ones? Or how I can put printed and emailed ones together in the report? Thanks.

  • Email of Purchase Order and Payment Advice

    Good Morning All
    We wish to implement the emailing of payment advice documents to our vendors. However, we are not sure if the changes to the vendor master data required for this will also mean that purchase orders for that vendor will also be emailed. Does anyone know if this is the case or not?

    Having done some testing I agree that the requirement for condition data for purchase order output makes it possible to email remittances and not purchase orders i.e. by not creating the MN04 condition data. However, in my testing, when I assigned an email address to the vendor for the purposes of emailing purchase orders, the payment advice produced by the next payment run was also emailed. I'm sure I must be missing something as, if nothing else, this would imply that the vendor would offer the same email address for both purposes. In desperation we are wondering whether we need to maintain multiple email addresses and use the standard number for purchase orders and somehow identify one of the other addresses as that to be used for the remittance.

  • Payment advices in F110 to be sent by email (PDF format) - step by step

    Hi SDN,
    We have a requirement to automatically send payment advices in F110 via email. The requirement is to send the file in PDF format. I've done a lot of browsing through in the forums, as well as check SAP notes, but none has really detailed a step by step process on how to go about it.
    I've also checked SAP NOTE 836169, but it is also not that detailed.
    Assuming that SCOT has been already set up by BASIS, I've done the following steps to test if the auto-email works, and here are the steps I did.
    1. Vendor Master Data -Define u2018Std communication methodu2019 as SMTP (Internet mail) and maintain an email address in the vendor master data.
    3. T-Code BERP u2013 Code to find the relevant BTE. Use the Selection Attribute to browse for your business area. In my case, it is AP-Payment Transactions hence FI-AP-AP-PT.
    00002040 is the relevant process. This is a Function called SAMPLE_PROCESS_00002040. In this case, the FM only checks for an email address in the Vendor Master. If more logic is required a Z-version would need to be created.
    4. Use t-code FIBF to create the enhancement.
    a) Create a product.
    A product groups together customer enhancements to BTEu2019s developed in the customer's namespace. All customer enhancements assigned to a certain customer product can be released with the Activate Customer Product indicator. The OPEN_FI function module for a certain customer enhancement cannot find the corresponding customer function modules, until this has been done.
    Create the product name (for example ZMAIL) and make it active.
    FIBF->Settings->Products->u2026of a Customer
    b) Assign the BTE to the FM:
    Settings->Process Modules->u2026of a customer
    Assign the 00002040 process to the FM and Product.
    5. Run the autopayment program F110.
    After I run the following steps, no email is being generated by the system. Is there anything that I still need to do? Or could anybody please kindly provide a step-by-step process? I'm a functional person, so I won't be able to do ABAP programming for this. Thanks and regards to all

    At a previous client using 4.6C we did a program and allocated it in F110.  The program reviewed the payment tables and sent the payment advice (basic list) to the employee vendors.

  • Vendor email for PO and payment advice

    Hi Gurus,
    Can anybody please throw some light on this scenario? We want to get started with emailing the PO's to vendor functionality. The settings are all done and everything is looking good to be implemented. But we have a situation, where the accounting department (as of today) is sending emails about the payment to the vendor (PI vendor). Now if we look at the following cases
    case 1: VN is 3XXXX and PI 4XXXXXX linked on the vendor master of 3XXXXX. If we want to send the PO via email to VN, we just need to maintain the email address on the 3XXXXX vendor master and when the payment is processed (F110), the email about the payment will use the email address from the 4XXX vendor master. This case is working fine without any problem.
    Case 2: VN is 3XXXX and PI is also 3XXXXX. (The exact same number) Then how will we deal with this case? because now the challenge is to maintain two email addresses on the vendor master (one for purchasing and one for accounintg). But on the vendor master, only one email address can be selected using a radio button to be used as default. Now how can we ensure that the PO gets sent to the proper email address of the vendor and when the payment gets processed how can we ensure that it will only send the email to the concerned email address and not the other.
    we have the custom program that kicks in after the F110 is processed to pick up the email addresses of the PI partner role vendor to intimate them about the payment. Now is there any other place in the vendor master where the email address can be maintained rather than in the general data view of the vendor master to get around this problem. I would really appreciate all possible ideas and suggestions please

    Sending email for payment advice is standard enhancement available using BTE2040
    Ravi has detailed the steps to use this BTE
    It will be triggered automatically when you run payment run in F110 and pickup the email address from vendor master data.
    You would just need to copy the standard sample function module to your own zmodule

  • How do I add an email body text for remittance advices / payment advices?

    Hello,
    I am trying to send an email body text with the pdf remittance advice to my vendors.
    Background:
    We are running automatic payments to vendors via transaction F110. We have configured the pay run to produce remittance advices for vendor payments. Finally we activated the BTE 00002040, through transaction FIBF, to use a custom copy of the function module SAMPLE_PROCESS_00002040.
    Our payment run sends emails with pdf-file attachments to our vendors correctly.
    <b>The Issue:</b>
    I can not find a way to add text to the body of the email with the attached remittance advice.
    Has anyone advise on how to populate the email body with text?

    For sending Payment advice by E-Mail, "You need to copy SAMPLE_PROCESS_00002040 and adjust it to write code as per your requirement. This BTE runs for each payment advice note to be sent and in the module, it is mentioned 1=print, 2 = Fax and I=mail, so you can set your priority, that if an E-Mail address is maintained in the vendor master, send mail or if no E-mail address is maintained send Fax, and if both are not possible shoot a Print.
    From Configuration side, you need to maintain the Z copy of SAMPLE_PROCESS_00002040 in FIBF transaction under the Process module of a customer without country or application indicator.

    I configured vendor ACH payment advice thru email, and for that I activated function module BTE-00002040,its working fine and sends the ACH payment advice to vendors thru email as soon as we run F110 program for ACH, The  problem is that when we run F110 for checks,system also puts the check advices for transmission,It wouldn't generate the check advices in the spool request SP01,I checked the sap note for ECC6.0, and it deals with the introductory text only. Does anyone have any idea how to prevent the system to put the check advices for transmission.ACH advices are working fine but check advices got messed up when I activated this BTE 00002040 funtion module.Thanks
