Emailing photos from IPhone in new OS-8

I have an IPhone and just loaded the latest OS update. I now find that when I try to upload photos from my phone there is no option to upload to email as there was before. What am I missing and/or how do I send photos in email now?

This still works with my iPhone 5s using iOS 8.2. You would send via email in the same manner you have done in the past, nothing has changed. What troubleshooting have you tried? Try a reset on the phone, hold the sleep/wake and home buttons together until you see the Apple logo and then release. The phone will reboot, and this will have no affect on your data. See if you can find the link for email after that.

I just solved this issue! Here's the solution in case anyone else is experiencing the same problem: I had him link his phone number to his Apple ID by adding his his phone number to his contact in his Contacts List. After that, messages sent to his phone number are blue.
I'm guessing his phone number was disconnected from his Apple ID when he somehow toggled off iMessage.

Cant email photos from iPhone 3G

This is a fairly recent problem for me but I am unable to email photos from my iPhone (either photo's synced from iPhoto or those taken on phone itself). Its a 3G phone and is running firmware 2.1. I'm not able to upload photos using the photo uploader feature in the Facebook app either.
After doing some research and some tests, I noticed that I can accomplish these tasks if I'm connected to a WiFi network or if I'm using EDGE (ie, 3G turned off) but NOT when I'm on the 3G netowrk. The error I'm getting is something about the message could not be sent and it ends up in my outbox. I have two email accounts set up on the phone, one a Yahoo account, the other a corporate email account. The same error occurs using either account.
I cant think of anything I've done to change the phone recently other than add a couple of seemingly unrelated Apps from the App Store (e.g., iTV, Grocery IQ, Pandora).
Any thoughts?

Had a guy at the Genius Bar at the local Apple store look at the phone yesterday. He swapped SIM cards and was able to send photos so it would seem that its a SIM card issue. He mentioned that they're starting to see odd problems here and there related to the 3G network which coincidentally or no was apparently fully rolled out recently here in So Cal. So now I need to go to an AT&T store to get a new card...hopefully that will do the trick.

Emailing Photos from iPhone failed

I tried emailing a photo from my iphone 4 to my new HP Photosmart 5510 using my eprint email address but it would not print the photo, even when I chose a small file size. Other items printed successfully, just not the photos. Any suggestions?

It is actually better to increase the resolution/quality of the photo when trying to print using ePrint. If a photo is not 100dpi (dots per inch) then most often it will not print or will show as 'failed' in ePrintCenter. I would try increasing the filesize of the picture and try sending your ePrint email again. If this still does not work then you may try downloading the HP ePrint home & biz app from the App Store and try printing your photo using this app. You have more printing options within this app and can print directly over your wireless network or manually add your printers ePrint email address manually for printing if you are not on the same network.

Go to photos/library, click the top right icon, select up to 5 (maximum) photos that you want to be attached with the mail, click "share" at the bottom left, a menu will pop up, click "email".

You select the photo/s and click on Share at the lower right and a box doesn't open when selections of where to share (Order, Twitter, Flicker, Facebook, Email...)?
Have you tried selecting from the iPhoto menu>Shere>Email?

Are you selecting the photo in the photo album, then on the bottom left you will see the arrow icon click on that then it gives you option, when you click email photo - what happens?

Put the photos in a folder on your computer, then select to sync the photos on the Photos tab of your iTunes sync settings and sync your iPad. They should then appear in the Photo Library album in the Photos app.

I was able to transfer my contacts, notes, calendar . . . etc., once I connected to Yahoo.
The info you gave me would be good, except that I don't use iCloud as it filled up the free 5GB on my iPhone
and then kept asking me to "buy more storage".
One day I may try to utilize the cloud, but now that I seem to have all my info from my iPhone transferred to my new iPad

IPhoto doesn´t work after trying to load photos from iphone with newer version. Help!!!!!

First, I do not have a recent back-up of my iPhoto Library. (But, I learned my lesson for next time). When I tried to load photos from my super duper up to date software I-phone to my outdated iPhoto on the computer (only version 8.1.2), a message came that I cannot open your Mediateck with this version of iPhoto,. You have changed your mediathek with a newer version of iPhoto.
(in German, because I am writing from Germany "Sie konnen ihre aktuelle Mediathek nicht mit dieser Version von iPhoto öffnen. Sie haben Ihre Mediathek mit einer neueren version von iPhoto geändert").

If not:
Try these in order - from best option on down...
1. Do you have an up-to-date back up? If so, try copy the library6.iphoto file from the back up to the iPhoto Library (Right Click -> Show Package Contents) allowing it to overwrite the damaged file.
2. Download iPhoto Library Manager and use its rebuild function. (In early versions of Library Manager it's the File -> Rebuild command. In later versions it's under the Library menu.)
This will create an entirely new library. It will then copy (or try to) your photos and all the associated metadata and versions to this new Library, and arrange it as close as it can to what you had in the damaged Library. It does this based on information it finds in the iPhoto sharing mechanism - but that means that things not shared won't be there, so no slideshows, books or calendars, for instance - but it should get all your events, albums and keywords, faces and places back.
Because this process creates an entirely new library and leaves your old one untouched, it is non-destructive, and if you're not happy with the results you can simply return to your old one.
3. If neither of these work then you'll need to create and populate a new library.
To create and populate a new iPhoto 08 library:
Note this will give you a working library with the same Events and pictures as before, however, you will lose your albums, keywords, modified versions, books, calendars etc.
In the iPhoto Preferences -> Events Uncheck the box at 'Imported Items from the Finder'
Move the iPhoto Library to the desktop
Launch iPhoto. It will ask if you wish to create a new Library. Say Yes.
Go into the iPhoto Library (Right Click -> Show Package Contents) on your desktop and find the Originals folder. From the Originals folder drag the individual Event Folders to the iPhoto Window and it will recreate them in the new library.
When you're sure all is well you can delete the iPhoto Library on your desktop.
In the future, in addition to your usual back up routine, you might like to make a copy of the library6.iPhoto file whenever you have made changes to the library as protection against database corruption.

How do I sync photos FROM iphone on new computer?

My macbook was stolen so I bought a new one. But I have photos on my iphone which will be deleted when I sync it with the new computer. I don't have Mobile Me setup yet and iphoto won't import the pictures from the iphone.

If the photos on your iPhone were not TAKEN by the iPhone (i.e. they were synced from a computer with iTunes or another program), they cannot be recovered.

Yes. Take the picture. Open in up in the photo app. At the bottom of the picture there will be an icon to send the pic via Email. Just be sure your Gmail account is set as the default mail account under settings>Mail

I have a new HP Photosmart Plus and an iPhone 4 with service from Verizon. My internet service provider is Qwest. I can't eprint. I tried to email a picture from home to my printer using printer's email address. Did not work. Any ideas?

Cannot email photos from iPhoto on new iMac mountain lion

I have a pop account for my mail. When I got the new computer with iCloud, I had to have my pop mail forwarded to my iCloud account. That all works fine. But I cannot select a few photos in iphoto and click on 'send' for either the pop or the icloud accounts. I get a message that I am not connected to the internet (which I am) and to try again later. I have spoken with tech support at Roadrunner, my pop account, and we have checked that all settings are correct. He thinks the problem must be with iCloud. Any ideas?

If you are using iPhoto try going into the preferences and the click accounts to make sure you email account is setup correctly.

Cannot email photos from Iphone

When I press send (after entering a valid email address) the screen goes blank and reverts to the main menu screen of the photo. This also happen a few weeks ago and after rebooting, the problem was solved. Now rebooting does not help.

I had/have this issue as well; try and send photo via email and the app would close without sending anything. I reset the iPhone and this made no difference. I have two email accounts on my iPhone, one of them I recently changed to imap (gmail), by deleting the old gmail account my default switched to the other one (yahoo). I changed my default mail account in Settings back to my gmail account and was able to send pictures, kind of. Now I can send pictures but after sending the app crashes and takes me to the main menu. Better than before but not really fixed.
