  • How do I transfer pictures from my cell phone to my HP Pavilion p6-2016 using a USB CAB LE

How do I transfer pictures from my cell phone to my HP PAVILION p6-2016 using a USB Cable.I would greatly appreciate if you could send detailed instructions on how to do this as I am not the smartest person at all when it comes to computers.

    Hi,
Using USB cable is the easiest way to transfer files from a cell/mobile phone to a computer. This is very simple task using the following steps:
    (a) Connect your phone to your PC/laptop, it will install driver for you automatically (most of the time) OR it will ask you for a CD (which comes with the phone) and it will do the rest,
    (b) Open Windows Explorer (or Files Explorer), the phone will appear like any external storage (external HDD, flash drive ...).
    (c) You can copy, move files/photos from your phone to any valid folder on your computer.
    Regards.

  • Why won't my Razr Maxx ring when called from my home phone or the other cell phone (I-phone) on my Verizon account?

Why won't my Razr Maxx ring when called from my home phone or the other cell phone (I-phone) on my Verizon account?

    Hi Ruth:
Thanks for reaching out to me about this issue.
This has been happening since I got the phone a couple of years ago.
I did not realize that my home land line and my wife's cell phone
always go straight to voice mail until my wife pointed it out to me
several months ago.  Is there a setting I can adjust?
Yes, I can make calls to our home land line and to her cell phone
without being diverted to voice mail.
Any advice you might have would be most welcome.
    Thanks.

  • TS2755 I cannot send text messages form my 4S iphone to other cell phones.

I cannot send text messages to other cell phones.  Only iPhones accept the messages.

check to see if you have SMS turned on in the message settings.
IF that doesn't help contact your phone carrier as they handle messaging and see if they can help resolve the issue.

  • Test of other cell phones for signal loss when touching antenna

The problem with the video clips claiming that all cell phones exhibit a drop in receive signal strength when covered with the hand is that using bars as an indicator is useless. Every cell phone has a different bars to -dBm conversion table. It's comparing apples to oranges.
In order to get a valid comparison, the actual signal strength from the field test mode in -dBm needs to be used. Rather than dump all the numbers and photos into this discussion group, I threw together a web page with my results and guesswork:
Since none of my friends and associates will let me restore the field test application on their iPhone 4 in order to run a numeric test, I'm using numbers from:
So far, the iPhone is somewhere between 6 and 18 times worse than the worst phone tested (Motorola RARZ V3c). What this indicates to me is that something more than just antenna detuning or Q reduction is happening with the iPhone 4. I don't know the exact cause, but the iPhone 4 does not appear to act like the other cell phones.

It's not really a question. It's more like additional information on the topic of the allegedly fixed antenna problem. This discussion forum software apparently does not allow replies to a posting unless it's marked as a question. So, I marked it as a question. If this is inappropriate, please advise and I'll change it. However, I would prefer to discuss my testing instead of administrivia.
Don't mind them. They don't really want to know (or care) if you have a question or need help. They're just trying to insult and mock you. When someone does ask a question or need help, no one really answers here.
"Do you have a question" is just their sarcastic response whenever anyone posts something they don't like which doesn't directly ask a question. If it's negative, they're real sticklers that every post must be a question seeking help. If someone starts a thread saying "Hey, I just want to say I love my iPhone 4" (clearly not a question), they're fine with that.

  • Downloading pictures from a cell phone

I have a Motorola Razor cell phone, which I connected to my computer using the USB cable from my graphing calculator. Is it possible to download my pictures off of my cell phone onto iphoto using this setup. If so, how do I do it? If not, is there another way to get the photos into iphoto without emailing them to myself one at a time?
    Thanks!
    Kari

I've had better luck using BlueTooth, if your iMac supports it. Just pair your phone with the iMac and transfer the files.
I don't know how the USB side works (my phone is a Samsung Trace), but I would assume a proprietary file transfer means.
I didn't realize my cell phone pictures looked better on my Mac, but then again, the phone's LCD is so tiny.

  • Sending photos to other cell phones?

On previous cell phones, I was able to sent photos to other friends' cell phones simply by sending it to their cell phone number. Can I do this with the Iphone? Some of my friends do not have E-mail addresses, which is why I want the ability to send photos to their phone numbers. Thanks

Simply send your picture from your iPhone via email to the destination phone's MMS address (ten digit phone number followed by the carrier's MMS internet address (suffix). If you don't know it, just do a search and you'll find it's been posted a number of times before (ex., AT&T/Cingular's is '[email protected]').

  • Move pictures from my cell phone to my Mac?

Does anyone know how to do this? I've taken pictures with my Motorola Razr and I want to move them to my computer. I don't subscribe to the Internet via my cell phone provider, so I can't e-mail them to myself thru my phone. Is there a software program I can use?
Thanks for any help. Sorry if this question doesn't belong here...
MacBook Pro   Mac OS X (10.4.7)

bluetooth is the way to go... you can click on "browse device" and pick up the files you want - this works with most manufacturers, but almost always motorola.
Just be sure to keep your phone open incase the phone needs confirmation to send the file - it is a common mistake and cause of non-transfers.
Otherwise, there are other programs out there - you may want to check the site for iSync on apple to see the compatibility. There is also a program called BluePhoneElite which gives you additional compatibility using bluetooth and your wireless phone

  • How do I get pictures from my cell phone (not an Iphone) on to my ipad mini?

Is there any way to get ohotos from my cell phone (not an iphone:() on to my ipad?

Best way would be to transfer your photos from your non Apple phone to the computer you normally sync your iPad to. Then organize the photos on your computer and sync them to your iPad.
If there are only a few photos your could email them to yourself.

  • Printing photo from email by way of cell phone. Need to print on photo paper

New to forum and new to HP Printer (HP ENVY 7640). My question is, if my printer is loaded with both plain paper and photo paper, it automatically defaults to the plain paper when trying to print photos, by email from my cell phone. Do I need to remove the plain paper from my printer's tray in order to get it to print on the photo paper?

Hi, Looks like a Yes, you need to remove normal papers. I ran few tests on my loan Envy 7640 printer and it knows the size of photopaper I put in (from the printer screen) but it ONLY prints 4x6. Hope this answer your question. Regards.

  • HT1688 Traveling in Europe and iphone 5 has NO SERVICE.  I have had other iPhones and other cell phones in the past and never had this problem

I am traveling in Europe and for the first time in over 10 years I am not able to use my cell phone.  This is my third iPhone and I have never had any trouble in the past in connecting as soon as off the plane!!!!  I have tried everything to fix it.  Chatted with AT&T and couldn't help me either.  Resetted settings, network settings, turned off and rebooted at least ten times.  Removed Sim card and still NOTHING.  NO SERVICE and SEARCHING is all I can get.

Tracy, first you should restart the iPhone by holding down the on/off and the home buttons at the same time until you see the Apple logo.  This process could solve some of your problems.  Also make sure you have the latest update, go into  our settings>general>software update.  On the wifi issue try restarting your router, if you are still having problems try resetting your network settings, go into your settings>general>reset then tap reset network settings.
The battery issues seems normal, the battery will not last 24 hours.

  • IPhone shows 'No Service' other cell 'phones work perfectly

Just the past few days, my iPhone has taken to saying that there is 'No Service'. I know it is not true - just now, for example, it says 'No Service' but somebody a metre away is having a chat on a cell 'phone.
I've tried going to airport mode, then back again, so it searches for a service - this fixed the problem a couple of days ago, but not now - it says 'Searching...' then goes to 'No Service'.
I tried turning it off and turning it on again, but that didn't do anything.
Is there anything I can run to test the receiving hardware/software? Any suggestions on what I should do next??

I've found the problem. For some reason the iPhone decided to switch to another service provider. I've put it back to the right one and it's fine.
Now, why would it change that??
