Emails being sent from iPad gets truncated

Device : iPad1
iOS      : 6.0.1
When email is sent out from iPad the view from Outlook is truncated, when we open on iPhone it looks ok.
We already updated the iOS to the latest version but its still the same.
If the email is forwarded using Outlook/iPhone or other devices the email is ok. Issue is only happening when its forwarded or sent from iPad.
no error messages received.
We have tried to update iOS, refreshed mail, and reconfigured the email settings but still the same.
Any suggestions will be appreciated.

The problem is with your email provider. I suspect someone has hacked your account because  you use the same password for most of your online work. You should change your password and not use the same password for most of your on-line accounts, most  people are lazy and don't use different passwords because they can't remember them all. You should begin changing your passwords and using a password management tool to help you remember. If you need help choosing one Google "OS X Password Managers" to find some reviews.

  • More Spam emails being sent from My Account again?

Despite changing my password and security several times from a clean PC, delteing all emails from my BT account regularly including sent items and spam folders and trash folders.
At least a dozen or more friends and collages are still getting regular spam emails from my account.   I do not store any contacts in the webbased interface and don't even use the account these days so I "presume" that there is nothing I can do my end to stop theses emails being sent out from "somebody else".
    Any suggestions welcome.

(One of many reasons I left BT).

Your account was probably hacked sometime back along with many others and your contact list will have been harvested by spammers. The list is now available to the spammers to use at any time they wish.
When they send spam to your contacts they are not sending them from your email account but rather they have spoofed your email address to make it appear it is from your account so that it fools your contacts into opening the spam.
What you need to do is create a new email address, use one of your sub-accounts and then tell all your contacts that your "old" email address has been compromised and that they should treat any emails from it as spam and  delete them without opening them.
Once you have done that, if you still have a BT account, you can then change your "New" email address to become your BTID and primary email account by logging into your MyBT and going to My Profie and changing the contact email address and username to your "new" email address.
See link about spoofed emails addresses.

  • Ironport C170 Blocks Emails Being Sent From SMTP Relay

I have an issue with emails being sent out through our virtual SMTP Relay from a server on the DMZ. Any emails being sent to internal email accounts on our domain works fine. However the ones sent to external accounts are being rejected by the RAT. Here is a shot of the rejection message we are getting:
    29 Oct 2013 10:09:58 (GMT -05:00)
Protocol SMTP interface Data 2 (IP xxx.xxx.xxx.xxx) on incoming connection (ICID xxxxxxx) from sender IP xxx.xxx.xxx.xxx. Reverse DNS host internal.domain.org verified yes.
    29 Oct 2013 10:09:58 (GMT -05:00)
(ICID xxxxxxx) ACCEPT sender group UNKNOWNLIST match sbrs[-1.0:10.0] SBRS 0.4
    29 Oct 2013 10:09:58 (GMT -05:00)
Start message xxxxxx on incoming connection (ICID xxxxxxx).
    29 Oct 2013 10:09:58 (GMT -05:00)
Message xxxxxx enqueued on incoming connection (ICID xxxxxxx) from [email protected]
    29 Oct 2013 10:09:58 (GMT -05:00)
Message xxxxxx on incoming connection (ICID xxxxxxx) to [email protected] was rejected by Recipient Access Table (RAT).
    29 Oct 2013 10:09:58 (GMT -05:00)
Message xxxxxx aborted: Receiving aborted by sender
I am new to the Ironport world so I am having a hard time figuring out how to allow for my SMTP relay to send emails to external email accounts. Thanks for any advice in advance!

It looks like the message should be arriving via SENDERGROUP RELAYLIST instead of
    ACCEPT sender group UNKNOWNLIST .
Navigate to GUI --> Mail Policies --> HAT Overview
    Then click the RELAYLIST sendergroup
Add the IP address of your sending MTA to this group, submit and commit changes.

  • There are unauthorised emails being sent from my emails accounts. This started recently following my iOS update to 5.0.1. Is this an iCloud hacking issue?

There appears to be emails being sent out to random contacts from my shared address book with dubious content none of which were sent by me. I believe this was sent by unauthorised hacker from iCloud as the contacts are not even in my personal contact list, but came from my wife's contact list which have been shared via iCloud. Is there security breach issue with iCloud?

I have the same situation (there seems to be lots of emails sent through my Icloud account. I don't see those emails in my "sent" folder, but I can see plenty of email (Chinese spam emails) bounced back into my account stating that I have exceded the sending limits. I cannot send anything either from my account (of course, the sending limit is alwasy exceeded). I have also changed twice my password, but the issue remains.
    Any clues?
I am really surprised at this. I was from the begining with .Mac, and never had any issue during all these years. This is now with Icloud, which should be safer and better  :-(

  • Spam email being sent from my AOL account

    Hi All
I know there are a lot of posts on this, I have had a look through but nothing seems to mach my circumstances.
Early this morning I received a few email failure notifications to emails I didn't send.
I checked my sent items and sure enough I had 14 new items that I didn't send.
I was using my macbook at the approximate time the emails were sent and it was acting strange, I tried to close the lid to put it to sleep but it stayed on. I tried a couple more time and it eventually did.
The odd thing is the email addresses that have been emailed are definitely ones I have used in the past but years before I even had my mac, so I don't think its a virus on my machine as the addresses don't exist anywhere on it (history or address book), not all email addresses in my local address book where emailed so it looks like the virus has used email addresses from my AOL history (I don't use an address book within AOL if such a thing exists)
So I am confused as to where the virus is running, it hasn't just used my email address as the from field because I recognise most of the addresses it emailed but as I said from years before I even had my Macbook. But also as I said my Macbook was acting strange at the approximate time the emails were sent.
It seems very unlikely that AOL themselves have a virus (but I have contacted them also to be sure).
    Any suggestions?
I am runnning 10.6.6 on a 2010 Macbook. Email client is Mail.
    Many thanks
    Martyn

Hi. Ive had the same thing happen to me. Ive finally got round to deleting all of my emails and on the 17th April around midnight 'I' sent loads of emails to people only it wasnt me! A few of them had been returned unsent to me but quite a few went through. I checked my sent box and it is some bloke from China advertising his Ebay business and his website!!!  After that night my email returned to normal. The only thing that strikes me as weird though is that day/night is when all of the ps3 details got stolen and we have recently brought a ps3 and given most of our details. Maybe this is all related?  Shelley

  • Why is email being sent from my secondary and not from my default account as per my settings - even when I remove the secondary email account?

I have 2 email accounts on my iPhone 4S. My secondary account is a gmail account. My primary account (not gmail) is set as my default account. Why, when I compose a new message in my primary account and then send, the email is issued from from gmail? And then why if I delete/ remove my gmail account from my iPhone and then compose a new message from my primary account (now the only account on my iPhone) it still sends from the gmail account?

No, "My Number" was not listed in my Phone menu, I had to manually type it it.  Is there a way for that number to automatically be listed in that "My Number" spot?  Would that maybe have something to do with my phone number not being listed as an option in the "Send and Receive" spot under messaging???

  • Adding certificates to Emails being sent from Livecycle

    Hi all
I wasn't exactly sure where to put this, but anyway....
The project I'm currently working on requires all mails sent via Livecycle ES2 to be signed with a certificate to show the mail has been sent from the intended sender.
I've set up a fairly standard connection to a Microsoft Exchange mail box to send the mails from.
Now my question is that whether or not there is some way to embed that certificate on Livecycle side(I haven't seen anything regarding this online), or whether it must be on the Exchange side(ie: automatically sign the Emails as they go out)?
    Regards
    Ross Malan

  • Why aren't my iphone emails being sent from my default email address. Is anyone else having this problem?

I have my iphone email default setting to my primary email address however when I send or respond to emails they are sent from my secondary email address even if I de-activate the secondary email address. Does anyone have any suggestions on how to correct this?

Are you sending from All Inboxes, or the inbox for the account the message was received in? I cannot duplicate your problem with either approach; my mail is always sent with the FROM address of the account that a Reply came to, or, for a new message, the inbox that was open at the time. It doesn't matter which SMTP server I use.
When composing a new message or a reply tap once on the BCC/FROM field; you can then tap on the From address and choose any of your email addresses for the FROM field. Does this let you change it?

  • PDF won't display correctly after being sent from iPad/iPhone

    Hi,
Wondering if anyone can help me, we have a PDF come in to one of our users outlook accounts, it opens fine on the computer. However, he has then proceeded to forward this to a colleague through his iPad and when the colleague opens it on their computer, it gives an error message 'Insufficient Data for an Image'. From here the PDF doesn't display correctly, whereby it only shows when scrolled halfway down the page, when you scroll back up all information dissapears as though it were a blank page.
FYI the software we are using to open the PDF is Adobe Reader, which we updates to the latest version to test for this issue. In short, when opened on the local computer it works fine, but as soon as it is forwarded from an iPad it won't open properly (the document opens fine on the ipad before it is sent). I have also tested this through my iPhone and i get the same issue.
Can anyone help? Thanks in advance!

Any chance that a Microsoft Exchange Server is in the mix? Could depend on what version of exchange is used.
You will need to try a work-around. Apple seems slow on fixing this issue.

  • Email being sent from Iceland?

I live in California, the clock on my PC is set for Pacific Standard time, my Verizon account shows that I am in California. Today I sent an email from California at about 7:30 AM via Outlook using verizon.net. I clicked that I wanted to get a delivery receipt and a read receipt.  I got the receipts and they showed that they were sent by me from "Monrovia, Rykevic" at about 1:30 PM and that the recipient who is in Orange County California read it from "Monrovia, Rykevic".  What is up with that? How do I get verizon to show that it was sent and received in California using PST?

Your friend is travelling,  Does it say that or is it just the time stamp looks like that.  Note much ot the time all the timestamps are actually GMT(Greenwich England) and converted at each end.

  • Emails being sent from another address

    Hello there
Hoping someone can help me. I just recently upgraded to an iPhone4 (Old I know), and I'm finding when sending an email from my default account (I have checked to ensure the "From" is from my default account), it is send and said it's from another account that is set up on my iPhone.
It is not a technical issue as all my settings are correct and I have confirmed this with my email carrier.
Has anyone come across this issue before and/or knows a solution?
    Many thanks in advance.

I have further information on this problem.
It seems if I delete the other SMTP Server (the one where the email is automatically sending from) on the outgoing mail server, then I am unable to send an email from this account at all.
I hope what I'm saying makes sense.

  • Emails being sent from my account that I did not ssend

This morning I was sent an email wife's email account that she did not send, further, it has now been sent to her entire contact list.  How do I stop this.

  • Email sent from iPad don't get sent

Some email messages sent from my iPad 2 just disappear. Don't get sent.

POP by definition doesn't "share" folders. Sent messages from one machine are invisible to another. Messages deleted on one machine are gone, period. IMAP, used by MobileMe and Gmail, may be better for your needs. I don't use Yahoo mail, but I'd be surprised if this weren't "working as intended" (by them, if not by you.)

  • HT4519 Default email is set but emails are being sent from another account

I have set up my email accounts on my iPad and set the default email as my home email. I have just noticed that all emails sent from my iPad are being sent from a different account.  What am I missing?

Edit the address book entry to uncheck use display names. If you want to disable it completely Tools menu (Alt+T) > options > advanced >reading and Display and turn off the use of display names.
You never had this issue with Outlook.... The question is what did the recipient see, not what did you see. If they did not use Outlook there is a good chance they saw what was in their address book. You can address your mail as sent by "Very Important person from Very Profitable Company" If I add you to my address book as "The Goblin" I see "The Goblin" This is because Thunderbird places control in the hands of the user. Outlook does not. Note the Multiple ways to view a message body on the view menu.
I get your frustration, but your no longer using Outlook. Outlook is an excellent exchange client. I find it actually does email badly.
