also update your nokia messaging if you are using that to the latest version that supports html emails now. it seems to be more stable and a lot of things got ironed out tho you still can't save it to e memory and it installs automatically on the c drive overall performance seems to be much better. hey i have had it for a whole day now. usually i get rid of it after 10 minutes because it annoys me so much. check it out its a good improvement.

    Q. I have an IPAD air having problems with my email deleting after a short while without command.

I've had issues like this before.
I ended up having to call my provide to reset the connection, which worked for a while, then quit. i then took it into my provider for a new sim card and had the connection re-established again. I haven't had issues since.
hopefully for you resetting the connection with your provider will do the trick and a new SIM card wont be nessesary.

  • Email Deletes After iTunes Sync, WHY!!?? 3GS OS 3.1.3

Why does my email in my POP3 account inbox delete after/during sync with iTunes?

It shouldn't. Email account mailboxes and messages are not included with the iTunes sync process.
Do you have the email account selected under the Info tab for your iPhone sync preferences with iTunes to transfer the email account settings from your computer to your iPhone? If so, this only needs to be done once and can be deselected after the email account settings are successfully transferred to your iPhone.
If selected, deselect this followed by selecting apply to see if this makes any difference.

  • Email deleting after 25-30 days

I am using Outlook 2007 and sync daily to my iPhone. Since I began using the iPhone several months ago, I notice that after about 30 days my email disappears from my Outlook folder on my computer. I would like to keep my email indefinitely. Is there a setting I may have triggered on the iPhone to get it to delete my email?
    Thanks for any help!

    Hi Brad,
Are you using a POP email account?
You may have to change the Outlook account settings, as suggested here: http://support.apple.com/kb/HT3228

  • Calendar invitation emails deleted after accepting

I seems OS X Mail to automatically deletes and erases email invitations for calendar events from the inbox after the user accepts them. They are even removed from the trash, meaning that it is no longer possible to find and view the included message, recipients or attachments in Mail.
How can this unwanted behaviour be prevented?

    settings - icloud - calendar - ON

  • Emails in my 'trash' are being deleted after about 5 weeks, but I want to retain them. I have elected 'never' on the 'permanently erase deleted messages' option, so I'm not sure why this happening?

emails in my 'trash' are being deleted after about 5 weeks, but I want to retain them. I have selected 'never' on the 'permanently erase deleted messages' option, so I'm not sure why this happening? any ideas?

iCloud emails in the Trash are deleted after 30 days on the website, and this over-rides the 'never' setting in Mail. There is no way of stopping this. (The Trash isn't really intended as a permanent storage area.)
Try this workaround. Go to http://www.icloud.com and go to the Mail page. In the sidebar, click on '+' to the right of 'Folders' to create a new folder; give it a suitable name.
Now click on the cogwheel icon at bottom left. At the bottom of the pane which opens, set the 'Move deleted messages to' drop-down menu to your new folder.
I'm not sure whether, when you delete messages in the Mail application, they will go to the Trash or your new folder - you'll need to experiment. I have a nasty feeling that Mail will simply move them to the Trash as before. If this is the case you will have to move them to your new folder manually - dragging messages directly to this folder rather than hitting the delete key will be the easiest way.

  • Outlook 2010 duplicates mail with setting Leave mail on sever, Delete After n days and pressing Send/Receive All folders

The setting Leave mail on the server and Delete after n days and Pressing Send/Receive all folders causes outlook 2010 to duplicate all mails of the last n days over and over again.
If I leave outlook 2010 open this problem does not occur, mail will be retreived without a problem. If I leave Outlook 2010 open for a long time and then press Send/Receive all folders it does work ok. If I restart Outlook 2010 and then press Send/Receive
    all folders the problem occurs.
The pst file is a new one. OTher mail accounts that do have Leave mail on the server but not Remove after n days do not have the duplicating behaviour.
I have manually removed 6400 duplicate mails, if Microsoft does not solve this urgent problem soon I need to remove Office 2010 from my computer and go back to Office 2007, Office 2007 worked fine for me.
Is there a solution fir this problem, or a free tool to remove all duplicates?

    Dear Pieter,
I suggest creating a new Outlook profile, and create the problematic account in the new profile, to see if the problem occurs.
Here are the detailed steps on how to create a new profile to test this issue
    ==============
    1.    Exit
    Outlook.
    2.    Go to
Start > Control Panel, click or double-click
    Mail.
Mail appears in different Control Panel locations depending upon the version of the Microsoft Windows operating system, Control Panel view selected,
and whether a 32- or 64-bit operating system or version of Outlook is installed.
    The easiest way to locate
Mail is to open Control Panel in Windows, and then in the
Search box at the top of window, type Mail. In
Control Panel for Windows XP, type Mail in the
    Address box.
Note    The Mail icon appears after Outlook starts for the first time.
The title bar of the Mail Setup dialog box contains the name of the current profile. To select a different existing profile, click Show Profiles, select
the profile name, and then click Properties.
    3.    Click
Show Profiles. Choose Prompt for a profile to be used.
    4.    Click
    Add.
    5.    Type a name for the profile, and then click
OK. Please also follow the onscreen instructions to create the email account in this profile.
    6.    Start
Outlook, and choose this new profile.
If this problem does not occur in the new Outlook profile, the old Outlook is corrupted. We can delete that and use a new Outlook profile.
Please take your time to try the suggestions and let me know the results at your earliest convenience. If anything is unclear or if there is anything
I can do for you, please feel free to let me know.
    Best Regards,
    Sally Tang

  • Why does my safari mail inbox delete after 30 days?

    Hi There
Can anyone help me. I cannot work out how to stop my inbox deleting after 30 days. It started about 3 months ago. Grateful for any help.
    Many thanks

Safari mail inbox? As in webmail access? Seems like that would either be a policy defined by your email provider, or a user-defined setting that you set (albeit inadvertently) through a user configuration webpage at you email provider's website?
If you meant Apple's Mail.app, there is no setting in Mail Preferences to delete email from the inbox in thirty days. That would seem to me to be a policy of your email provider or else you have a rule that is doing it.

  • Safari on my iPad. I have an original iPad and since updating to the latest iOS safari forces me to restart the iPad about two to three times a day. Three problems: 1. It just blacks out. 2. The reading list does not delete after the story is read. 3. Ema

Since updating to latest iOS safari fails several times a day.
    1. Just quits.
    2. The items on the reading list will not delete after visited.
    3. The screens goes grey when I go to email a reference.
Is the a solution other the restarting the iPad or is this something apple ought to fix?

    See if the following help.
Try clearing Safari's cache : Settings > Safari > Clear Cookies And Data (and Clear History)
If that doesn't work then try closing Safari completely and then re-open it : from the home screen (i.e. not with Safari 'open' on-screen) double-click the home button to bring up the taskbar, then press and hold any of the apps on the taskbar for a couple of seconds or so until they start shaking, then press the '-' in the top left of the Safari app to close it, and touch any part of the screen above the taskbar so as to stop the shaking and close the taskbar.
A third option is a reset : press and hold both the sleep and home buttons for about 10 to 15 seconds (ignore the red slider), after which the Apple logo should appear - you won't lose any content, it's the iPad equivalent of a reboot.

  • HT201317 So if photos are deleted after 30 day from icloud

If photos are deleted after 30 days from icloud, why doesn't my available storage increase if I have had "backup device" turned off for more than 30 days.

That refers to photo stream photos, which don't count against your iCloud storage.  They also aren't contained in the iCloud backup; only camera roll photos are, which are not deleted after 30 days.  They stay on your device until you delete them.

  • My email seems to get deleted after i read it

My emails seems to get deleted after I read them

I found no settings on the iPhone which could make this happen.
Did you sign in to www.icloud.com and check if you have accidently activated Rules (or Forwarding)?

  • I keep receiving duplicate email, even after deleting them, they keep coming up as new wails.

I keep receiving duplicate email even after deleting them

After you delete them, empty the trash before they re-load.

If you have been regularly syncing/backing up your iPhone with iTunes or iCloud, you may try restoring it from the last backup.
Read how to restore from a backup.
    http://support.apple.com/kb/ht1766
Make sure to turn OFF automatic syncing in iTunes before connecting your iPhone.
Preferences - devices - "check" prevent iPhone/iPod from automatic syncing
