Emails & Error Messages

Hi Everyone,
I love my 8900 but recently is has started to drive me nuts for two reasons and I wonder if you can help.
I keep receiving emails and in the subject line it says: RIM_bca28a80-e9c0-11d1-87fe-00600811c6a2. These emails are being sent by: [email protected]
How can I stop these from coming through.
At least once a week my screen goes white with Data Error message and I have to reboot the phone. Any ideas why this is?

Why do i get email error message when e-mail is working ok and settings are correct pop3 email

can anyone help please, i am receiving email error message( cannot get mail user name and password for work is incorrect) I am using a pop3 email accessed from microsoft outlook on desktop pc, my emails come through onto phone sometimes but most of the time i get the error message. i have checked settings with my email provider and they are correct. my iphone5 provider is 02. any advice very much appreciated this is a very annoying problem thankyou

Check the thumbnails for exclamation marks, an indication of missing files. If you have moved images or folders using your computer operating system LR won’t know what you did and the original links will have been broken. You need to point LR to where you now keep the image(s) on your hard drive.

I cannot send email - error message as follows : 'The sender address (my email address) was rejected by the server smtp.tiscali.co.uk.' I can send email from other apple devices, and the email settings are identical. Any ideas?

For some reason I cannot send email - all was working fine, but now I get the following error message when I try to send email:
'The sender address (my email address) was rejected by the server smtp.tiscali.co.uk'
I can receive incoming mail ok and I can send email from other Apple devices. The problem seems confined to my Mac Book Pro.
Ant ideas?

Using a wi fi not mine can't send email error message says my email address not recognised

I am using my IPAD in UK. (friend's wi fi) from Australia
Can receive email ok
Have entered his Outgoing address mail.btinternet.com.
Can't send emails. Error message says server does not recognize my address

Thanks for the response. Unfortunately, things have gotten progressively worse now in another direction. After I posted this, I shut down my computer to go to work. It had to "rebuild" the filevault sparseimage to recover space.
Now when I restarted it, I am missing things from my dock, ? marks are in their place, all of my preferences have been set to some default AND this is the biggie - I have no mail accounts whatsoever. When I click on Mail, it asks me if I want to establish a new account. It looks like the FileVault action has totally screwed up my system.
I tried rebuilding the permissions as recommended above using safe boot. Didn't help. I am now trying to repair the FileVault sparseimage as recommended elsewhere. I think I now see what the problem might be. I have two different sparseimages for the same account with the only difference is that a 1 is appended to the second one. Unfortunately I can't tell which it is. I have a feeling I should repair the 1st one (without the suffix 1). It must not be able to open that and hence that is why it made a second one.
Any other help anyone?

When I send an email -error message says can't save in folder

my sent emails don't save in the sent folder. When I click send for a new email ... I get an error message that says it can't save to the sent folder. Just started using TB yesterday.

I have a similar problem, except my progress bar never ends. The last thing I should read is message to saved in sent folder. If I close the window, the message does not appear in the sent folder. I have to tell you I have been using Thunderbird for several years now. As of yesterday, it was working fine. Now it isn't and this has left me scratching my head.

I cannot load email from excite.com email account on my laptop iBook G4 with Tiger OS X10.4 with
512 MB DDR SDRAM. It will start showing 0 or 5 % loaded, then freeze, and the above error message appears after a while. I can access this same excite.com email account on my iMac. I have updated
apps today before trying to access my account online. I have no other account and do not wish to establish any other.

Did it ever work on the iBook?
Is it IMAP or POP account?
Open Activity Monitor in Applications>Utilities, how much Memory free & Hard Disk space does it show?
Not certain, but this can fix myriad Mail problems...
Safe Boot from the HD, (holding Shift key down at bootup), it will try to repair your Disk Directory while the spinning radian is happening, so let it go, run Disk Utility in Applications>Utilities, then highlight your drive, click on Repair Permissions, then move these folder & file to the Desktop.
Move this Folder to the Desktop...
/Users/YourUserName/Library/Caches/Mail/
Move this file to the Desktop...
/Users/YourUserName/Library/Mail/Envelope Index
Reboot.
If that doesn't do it and you can afford to redo all your Rules, try these & reboot...
/Users/YourUserName/Library/Mail/MessageRules.plist
/Users/YourUserName/Library/Mail/MessageRules.plist.backup

I'm trying to set up a live.com email account on my phone. After putting the email address and password I get a error message (failed). if I go through a search engine, the security asks my for the last four numbers of my phone number. It works that way
but, I need it to work the other way. I have been using this email account on my laptop for years. I'm sure it is just security issues with your server.

HELP PLEASE! Weird email error messages

Hoping someone here can help.
I have my work email on my Tour 9630 (VZW; v5.0.0.975) and it is a lifesaver. This AM however, I started receiving 'error messages' whenever I sent an email to colleagues at my company -- i.e. those with the same @____.com addy as the one I was sending from. I rebooted the BB, same thing happened. Tried removing the email account, rebooted the BB, and added the email account again. Can receive emails from colleagues, but can't reply to them or forward to them. Just keep getting the following error message:
5.3.0 - Other mail system problem 550-'IP Authorization check failed - psmtp'
Verizon Wireless couldn't help, as I'd already done all they recommended. And my work IT team said the emails aren't even hitting our company server, its being stopped somewhere else along the line.
I get close to 500 emails a day on this and not being able to send replies to colleagues or forward messages to them is unacceptable.
ANYONE have any brilliant suggestions or solutions???

How is your email integrated on your BlackBerry? I assume it's using Outlook Web Access (OWA)? Also, are you able to send emails to addresses outside of your domain?

Scan to Email Error Message "cannot connect to server. check server name and address"

I have a HP Officejet Pro 8600 Plus.
I've been using this printer for several months. Now am getting an ERROR message when I try to scan to email that it "cannot connect to server. check server name and address"
I'm not sure how to check this. We can all still print remotely via the internet connection.
Anyone have any ideas?

Working on Lion, trying to share photos via email, error message: "The email server didn't recognize your username/password combination". Regular email works fine, don't know how to fix this.

Having trouble with sharing photos via email on my desktop Imac. Error Message when I try to send: "The email server didn't recognize your username/password combination. Normal email inbox/outbox works fine, error message only comes up when using "Sharing photos".
Not sure how to fix this, please help.

Are you trying to email directly from iPhoto? If so, check iPhoto>Preferences>Accounts tab and make sure your details are entered correctly there.

TS3276 Need Help Interpreting Email Error Message?

I cannot receive emails, but can send them for my email account. When I hit "Send/Receive" I get an error message that reads, "not that many messages" with no explanation. My email account worked perfecty until today. I can't figure out a solution. Could use input from others.

Through away the QuickTime player from the Applications folder.
Go to Hard drive/Library/Receipts and throw away the QuickTime receipts.

Reply email error message

Hi,
Using a POP email account, when I try to reply to an email I received I get this error message:
A copy has been placed in your Outbox. The recipient was rejected by the server because it does not allow relaying.
I've sent mail and have no problems, it is only when I "reply". Is there a way around this?

Go into iPhoto's Accounts preference pane and delete the email account there. Then add it back. If that fails you can select Mail as your email client in iPhoto as that's more reliable and flexible. It also offers stationary for photos that are not unlike those in iPhoto's client:
and using Mail as the client will allow you to have a Sent copy automatically.

Email Error Message "updated yesterday"

I cannot send or receive emails. I have tried deleting and reinstalling the email account. I have reset all settings. Nothing works and I still get the "updated yesterday" error message. Any suggestions?
