  • E75 Emails in inbox disappear

    Hi there
I am a new user and have recently purchased an E75.  I eventually managed to set up 2 email addresses and notifications come through fine.
However........The messages just disappear from the inbox - I've tried to mark them as "unread" but they still disappear...... I've had our IT guy at work look at the settings and he can't see any obvious problems.  The inbox setting is Hide email older than 2 weeks, and is locked so I cannot alter this if I wanted too.
Also if a message has an attachment I try to download it and the message disappears and I have no idea if I have downloaded the attachment as I cannot find out in the instruction booklet where these would be automatically stored (if of course they are)
The message also disappears if I go to "view HTML".
I have also noticed that since setting up my email account on my Nokia I am not receiving any emails via Outlook on my PC.
Please can anybody help as the whole idea of sending emails to my mobile was so that I could read them before I got home from work - and look at the info in them as and when it was convenient, not loose all the details before I had a chance to deal with things.
    Many thanks

Make sure that the very last setting is set however you want. This will affect how long an email is kept on the BB.
You also might try deleting and re-creating the BIS conduit for this email account...it sounds like something is just not right and sometimes this process helps clear it up.
    Hopefully something there will help.

  • Emails in inbox disappear after an hour or so

I am a new Blackberry user and not very tech savy- pretty much clueless.  I have a Curve 8330.  My emails come in on my Blackberry, but they only stay there an hour or two and then just fall off and disappear.  This is my second Curve in about a month doing the same thing- Cellular South(my cellular provider) could not figure it out so they gave me a new.  I have had several more proficient Blackberry users try to fix it- no luck.  My email provider can't figure it out either.
According to others looking at my phone for me- it is not a memory problem.  We are talking very low volume of emails- 3 to 15.  It seems to be more about time, but even that is not consistent.
It does not delete emails that I have sent or forwarded- received messages are only deleted.
I get all incoming emails on my desktop and Blackberry.  Emails stay on my desktop, but fall off my blackberry.
Email provider deleted an unread email off of the server- it deleted off of my desktop, but did not delete off my Blackberry.
Another thing is that the last two Fridays after 4:00 in the afternoon my emails stayed in inbox for Friday afternoon, Saturday and Sunday- then on Monday when I got my first email they all fell off.
    Please help.

  • Emails in inbox disappear from ipad2

For some reason, after I look at an email from my inbox, it disappears without my doing anything to it. Sometimes I find it in the trash, other times it's just gone. I've checked the mail settings and the always ask before delete button is set to on.  So why is my iPad doing this and how can I stop it?

Some other device is accessing your mailbox besides the iPad. Do you check your mail in your computer? Do you share your mail account with someone else?
If in doubt, change the account password in the email server and just the iPad, so you can determine where else is the account being accessed. Note also that Exchange or Outlook mail accounts have a Mail Days to Sync setting; if set to something different than No Limit, mail older than the specified number of days will no longer be visible, although it still is in the server.

  • I just purchased the new ipad. I set up my email and put show 1000 messages. After a few days my email in my inbox disappears. I have gone thought all the settings. Please help.

Yes! I guess it's too early in the morning for my brain. So sorry, folks! Please ignore my previous answer.
In portrait mode, you can make the inbox disappear either by swiping to the left on the open email or by tapping on the Inbox button.

  • How do i delete phantom emails from inbox?

My inbox details that there are 3 unread or new messages ... but there is not, i've tried to search for unread messages to delete but no luck. I've gone on my laptop to delete the messages and there are 0 unread messages in my inbox....What to do?

I posted this in another thread - a fix for this happening with Gmail:
I tried all the fixes here for an identical issue with my gmail account, but kept being left with 26,000+ allegedly unread emails on the iphone 5 after upgrading....
Now, it seems to be OK after the following routine, done on my PC (NB not sure how applicable this is to other email accounts)
    1. (very important) - click on All Mail from the gmail menu on the left hand side of the screen (if you can't see this, it'll be revealed be selecting 'More' from the menu list).  (It would appear that the emails that the iphone is referring to are not, in fact, just the ones in the inbox..... )
    2. Click the 'down' arrow on the right hand end of the gmail search box (it's just by the blue button with the magnifying glass)
    3. In the 'Doesn't Have' field in the Search menu, enter some gobbledygook - like "asgjihg567vfd" - something that you are certain will not be in any email.  That means that all of the mail, including long-term deleted mail (not just the stuff that appears to figure in your bin), will get selected
    4.  In the left hand of the three grey boxes above the emails (the one with the square on it), select 'All'
    5. You will see on the bar above the emails that a message comes up saying - "All 20 conversations on this page are selected. Select all conversations that match this search".  Click on this to select, literally, all your emails - past, present, binned, spam, etc.
    6. From the right hand control box above the emails (the one saying 'More'), select 'Mark as read'.   This will take a few moments, but will work through them all.
    7.  When you go into the gmail account on your phone, you should see the unread email count miraculously disappear when it syncs.
This has worked for me and I hope it stays this way!   The trick is that you may have lots of unread emails that you binned ages ago - but these have been resurrected through the miracle that is iOS7.
FWIW, I very much regret upgrading to iOS7 and have written to Tim Cook telling him that it's going to lose him customers - not that I expect that he will see my mail, or answer, or that he cares.......

  • Deleted Emails won't disappear!

Approximately 60-70% of the time my deleted emails won't disappear from webmail.  I've tried Firefox and IE, spoken to several Verizon help techs to no avail.  My immediate neighbor has never had this issue.  It happens regardless of distance from router or even being home....help!!  I've got over 6,000 emails in my Inbox!!

We sent you a message on our private support board to assist you and we did not receive a response.  Please repost the issue if you are still experiencing a problem so that we may assist you.  Tonya C.

  • My inbox disappeared on my Mac and on my Ipad

I'm using a MacPro with Lion 10.7.2 and an Ipad (first generation). I also have Fusion 4 on my Mac.
Basically, what happened is that all my Inbox disappeared (about 3,000 messages ... I know ... I should clean up!) and I stopped receiving new emails to my "me" account. Now I receive some but not all my emails. Same on my Ipad. All gone.
The only thing I know is before I noticed it, I was using Fusion to run a Windows program and, out of curiosity, I opened Outlook Express and asked to receive my emails. I received them all!! Now I have all these emails in Outlook but not in my Mac mailbox. And I receive all my emails in Outlook but only some in my Mac mailbox. VERY ANNOYING! I use Fusion once in a blue moon and I don't like Outlook at all.
What should I do? I'm afraid to apply drastic measures for fear of losing all my emails.
    Jacques

    Hi, thanks for responding...
it happened on multiple accounts, all of them paid and all of them supposedly being backed up on icloud (the messages were erased from icloud too). I access the emails via pop servers.
and yes, new messages have been accumulating since yesterday. I'm really worried, because there is a lot of professional messages I lost.
    Please help!
    Thanks again

  • Email Appears then Disappears - Please HELP!!

    Apple Mail 6.2 (1499)
This problem has plagued me since Snow Leopard if not eralier.  For some reason, email messages coming from my coworkers using the same email server (meaning the same domain name) appear momentarily and then reappear.  I've yet to find a solution to this and it's driving me crazy.  Oddly, I'm the IT Admin at the office and nobody else has this problem nor has had this problem.  Even more strange is that it seems inconsistent when this happens.  Sometimes I get the emails and sometimes I don't.  I don't know if it's related to whether I am cc'ed or emailed directly, if it's part of an email conversation or not. What's also weird is that of all of the IMAP accounts I have, this is the only one that does this and in Apple Mail the account and folders (drafts, deleted, sent, trash)  show up in my inbox - unlike the other accounts.  The others are further below on the Mailboxes panel with a little triangle toggle that shows all of the IMAP folders with the account.
    At my wits end.
The account is an IMAP account
"Move deleted messages to the Trash Mailbox" is selected (not sure if it should be)
"Compactmailboxes automatically" is selected (not sure if it should be)
I have no rules to prevent me from receiving emails from my coworkers.
    IMAP Path Prefix is blank
    Port is 993
    Mailhost is Dreamhost

    Problem Solved- Atleast for me
After going through this issue for more than 3 weeks, I was able to find the solution. For me emails continue to disappear but it was totally random. Calendar and Contact also disappeared but not as often as mail.
The problem resides on Exchange OWA server. On IIS I have connection limit of 10 connections which we was causing this problem. After increasing the limit problem is gone.
    STEPS
Search the logs under C:\WINDOWS\system32\LogFiles\HTTPERR for "503 1 ConnLimit", if you find this line then the solution is to increase the limit.
To do that, go to, IIS Manager, Right click on Default Website (where OWA is hosted), properties and go to Performance tab. Under Website Connections, increase your current limit. Restart IIS Admin and try IPhone mail again.

  • I am using iCloud email and my emails are randomly disappearing before I can read them. They are not in any folders on my iPhone and I am having to call apple to have the last 7 days of email sent to me in order to retrieve what is being lost.

I am using an apple email account and my emails are randomly disappearing before I get a chance to read them. They are not anywhere on my device, not trash, junk etc. The only solution from apple has been to resend me the past 7 days of email in order for me to retrieve the missing emails. This has taken me hours on the phone with apple support with no solution. I just don't know what to do. They have gone over the settings with me and nothing has solved the problem. I don't know where to start since it is happening on all my devices.

Control-click on the background of the view all pages window and select "Preview Calendar" from the contextual menu.
You can also save the pdf as a file to compare to the printed calendar.  If the two names are visible in the pdf file then the printed copy should show them.  Contact Apple for a refund.  Apple Print Products - Apple Store (U.S.)

  • Can't locate email content? All of a sudden my email content has disappeared from inside MacMail? The actual emails are coming through but I am unable to view them as the area is just left blank! Nothing has been done to have changed this?

Can't locate email content? All of a sudden my email content has disappeared from inside MacMail? The actual emails are coming through but I am unable to view them in the content area! Nothing has been done to have changed this?

Please read this whole message before doing anything.
This procedure is a test, not a solution. Don’t be disappointed when you find that nothing has changed after you complete it.
    Step 1
The purpose of this step is to determine whether the problem is localized to your user account.
Enable guest logins* and log in as Guest. Don't use the Safari-only “Guest User” login created by “Find My Mac.”
While logged in as Guest, you won’t have access to any of your documents or settings. Applications will behave as if you were running them for the first time. Don’t be alarmed by this behavior; it’s normal. If you need any passwords or other personal data in order to complete the test, memorize, print, or write them down before you begin.
Test while logged in as Guest. Same problem?
After testing, log out of the guest account and, in your own account, disable it if you wish. Any files you created in the guest account will be deleted automatically when you log out of it.
*Note: If you’ve activated “Find My Mac” or FileVault, then you can’t enable the Guest account. The “Guest User” login created by “Find My Mac” is not the same. Create a new account in which to test, and delete it, including its home folder, after testing.
    Step 2
The purpose of this step is to determine whether the problem is caused by third-party system modifications that load automatically at startup or login, by a peripheral device, by a font conflict, or by corruption of the file system or of certain system caches.
Please take this step regardless of the results of Step 1.
Disconnect all wired peripherals except those needed for the test, and remove all aftermarket expansion cards, if applicable. Start up in safe mode and log in to the account with the problem. You must hold down the shift key twice: once when you turn on the computer, and again when you log in.
Note: If FileVault is enabled, or if a firmware password is set, or if the startup volume is a software RAID, you can’t do this. Ask for further instructions.
Safe mode is much slower to start up and run than normal, with limited graphics performance, and some things won’t work at all, including sound output and Wi-Fi on certain models. The next normal startup may also be somewhat slow.
The login screen appears even if you usually log in automatically. You must know your login password in order to log in. If you’ve forgotten the password, you will need to reset it before you begin.
Test while in safe mode. Same problem?
After testing, restart as usual (not in safe mode) and verify that you still have the problem. Post the results of Steps 1 and 2.

  • Move email from Inbox to Local Folder using Message Filter moves header only, not contents.

I created a Message Filter to move email from Inbox to a Local Folder based on Date. The email headers were moved, but not the contents. Since I'm using IMAP, all the emails were deleted from the server.
I searched for similar problems and I followed one suggestion to "repair" one of the target Local Folders, but that made things worse. Now the header information (Subject, From, Date (now set to the date the transfer was done, not the email received date) is all blank.
The Local Folder properties indicate the email is contained in
    mailbox:///C:/Users/Ted/AppData/Roaming/Thunderbird/Profiles/c65xcqqf.default/Mail/Local Folders/Archives.sbd/2010
I can see the messages from other Local Folders here, but the ones "moved" are empty.
    Should this location be changed?
Is there some way to recover the email contents?

    hi Robert,
thanks a lot for your reply.
here is the uplink port profile config:
    port-profile type ethernet HostUplink
      vmware port-group
      switchport mode trunk
      switchport trunk native vlan 1
      switchport trunk allowed vlan 1-3967,4048-4093
      channel-group auto mode on mac-pinning
      no shutdown
      system vlan 803,832,900-901
      state enabled
803 is mgmt for both esx and vsm, 900 is control, 901 is packet.
my NC553i driver version is different from what you suggested, it is 2.102.518.0, any reason why you suggest to use the version you specified?
I have been trying to contact HP support, to be honest, not saying overall, but from my experience, they are much less helpful then Cisco support, I will keep trying.
    thanks
    ming
