Emails never arrive!
Sometimes emails I send don't arrive. Is there some sort of filtering? I've sent the same content - nothing objectionable at all - 3 times in 3 different emails this morning, and my husband and daughter have never received. This has appened before, usually when I send a link to myself (ie the dreaded macreme site). But it's not a one-off - if it doesn't go, it doesn't EVER go, no matter how you word it or change the email. Since I only know it happens when I ask the recipient, who knows how often it really does. Help!
BT's new email partner Openwave/Critical Path seem to be overly agressive with their anti-spam measures. There's not much anybody here can do to remedy that unfortunately except keep complaining and hope that something eventually gets done.

when i try to set up icloud on my iphone 4S, i am asked for an email account, which i supply. icloud then saya to check my email for further instructions. The problem is, the email never arrives in my mailbox. Now my phone says "check email" and lists the proper email account that i supplied while trying to set up icloud, however, it is all 'grayed' out and no touch screen action can be performed.
Welcome to the Apple Community.
Check your Mail rules and filtering, the verification mail may be going to a junk folder or even being deleted altogether. -
My confirmation email never arrived
i'm trying to open an account so i can be an ibooks publisher
aka https://itunesconnect.apple.com/WebObjects/iTunesConnect.woa/wa/bookSignup
but my confirmation email never arrived
how do i resend it?
when i try to go through the application again it just says i've already applied
how do i activate my account?i am from austria - the same problem. I open a Paid Account an the next day a Free Books Account... no one, no other confirmation email arrived. Today I open a new Free Book account with a gmail mail adress. And see: the confirmation arrived in the same minute.
This seems to be the evidence that address is the problem, e-mail from foreign countrys not recognize.
Very bad, because i the first two addresses may no longer use. -
Apple ID reset password email never arrives.
It is several years old and I forgot. It is [email protected] email never arrives. Apple address is not blocked and junk mail folder is empty.
It is also a valid ID because if I try to create a new Apple ID using the same [email protected] I get a message that that ID is taken. The email account is valid as I send and receive emails everyday from it. I want to use the ID on a new iPhone I just got. I only used the ID on an old iPod several years ago briefly.
I have tried the email reset several times and never get an email sent to me.
Also I can not get a password reset via the 'answer questions' methood because I completely forgot how I answered them. Also that was a time before there was password rules and I'm not sure any questions were even needed to be answered.Thank you so much for the answer. I don't have a rescue email. I'll call the number and see if they can help. If they could at least change the rescue address to the AppleID address that would probably work. I'll report back after the call, I hope they will help. Thank's for the number.

Emails never arrive to BT inbox
Sorry in advance as this may be a bit long winded, a couple of weeks ago one of my clients who is with BT and has a BT email address phoned to ask why I had not emailed him as promised. I had, so sent it again but it didn't arrive, tried with a different email account still the same so tried a hotmail account and still the same. All these emails where being sent from Apple mail running 10.9 so tried from my iPad, iPhone still no joy. Sent one from Outlook 2011 on the same computer and same internet connection so same external IP address which is my own personal account not my work one and it arrived.
My brother is with BT so started doing some testing and at 1st it appeared that an email sent from any account from any version of Apple mail never arrives. I tried several computers running various versions of Mac OS, tried iPads and Iphones. I then set the same work account up in Outlook and it arrived so I started thinking it was an Apple mail issue.
So I configured the work email in Outlook with my work signature and all of a sudden the mails stopped arriving to any BT address. More testing and it seems that with any email account with any type of signature sent to any BT email address my mails never arrive but remove the signature from outlook or Apple Mail and they arrive. It is only BT clients having this issue everyone else seems to be getting my emails.
We checked the spam folders etc. and no sign of my email, if I enter my email address in the safe senders in webmail then they arrive but I can't ask every client with BT to do this.
It all used to work fine but this has suddenly started to happen, I have spent ages working out why the emails don't arrive. I get no bounce back message, no error message and if other people are copied in they get the email just BT users don't.
I have tried a plain text signature but get the same result, I have tried pasting a signature in at the end and get the same result. I am baffled.BT's new email partner Openwave/Critical Path seem to be overly agressive with their anti-spam measures. There's not much anybody here can do to remedy that unfortunately except keep complaining and hope that something eventually gets done.

Entourage - Specific Emails Never Arrived
I sent 3 emails to my flatmate whilst in the house and it has been three days and she still hasn't received them. I tried sending myself an email which again never came through. I have been on Entourage for 4 years and I know we have not changed any of the settings. We did have to change our Entourage identity a little while ago due to some corruption but that was all fine. We have checked junk filters and spam. It is very odd because we seem to received every other email. We both have pop email accounts going through email.com. I logged on into the accounts thinking there was an issue with filters or something but the emails have not even gone through to there. I tried a test email from email.com to myself and to my flatmate and it worked fine we just can't receive emails from each other through Entourage. We run a business out of home so we are getting kinda desperate.
Any ideas?BT's new email partner Openwave/Critical Path seem to be overly agressive with their anti-spam measures. There's not much anybody here can do to remedy that unfortunately except keep complaining and hope that something eventually gets done.

Hi,
I'm trying to setup Family sharing but the invite email doesn't arrive at the destination account.
The account receives other emails and i've checked the Spam filter and virus checker.
The source/host computer is an iMac running Yosemite. I can happily email from the iMac to the MacbookAir.
Any suggestions or workarounds?Hi there _Man,
I understand that you are having an issue with some of your Family Sharing members not receiving the email in order to join your Family Sharing group. You should first try to resend the invitation to this person, using the information in the article below:
See if your family member accepted the invitation
After you send the invitation, you can check its status under the person's name in Settings > iCloud > Family on your iOS device. On your Mac, go to Apple menu > System Preferences, click iCloud, and select Manage Family. Then select that person's name to see the status of the invitation.
If you need to resend the invitation, select "Resend Invitation."
Join a family group
You can accept or decline an invitation to join a family from you iPhone, iPad, iPod touch, or Mac.
In iOS 8, go to Settings > iCloud > Invitations.
In OS X Yosemite, choose Apple menu > System Preferences > iCloud > Manage Family.
If the invitation is sent to your email address, you can also respond right from your email.
To accept an invitation, follow the onscreen instructions. Here's what you'll be asked to do when you join:
Confirm your Apple ID and password.
Choose if you want to share your content and which iTunes Store account you want to share from.
Choose if you want to share your location. If you agree, your location can be displayed on family members’ devices in Find My Friends and Messages, and the location of your shared devices will also appear on family members’ devices in Find My iPhone.
If you can't accept the invitation, see if someone else joined a family with your Apple ID or is sharing purchased content from your Apple ID. Remember, you can only join one family at a time, and you can only switch to a different family group once per year.

i have an old apple id coming up on my iphone. i do not have a valid password and every attempt to reset it either by email or by questions does not work. When i select email to reset i do not receive an email in any of my mail boxes. when i select ask questions - my answers do not match
please helpIf you're talking about an old iCloud ID, you have to delete the old account, provide the password for the old ID when prompted to turn off Find My iPhone, then sign back in with the ID you wish to use. If you don't know the password for your old ID, or if it isn't accepted, go to https//appleid.apple.com, click Manage my Apple ID and sign in with your current iCloud ID. Tap edit next to the primary email account, tap Edit, change it back to your old email address and save the change. Then edit the name of the account to change it back to your old email address. You can now use your current password to turn off Find My iPhone on your device, even though it prompts you for the password for your old account ID. Then go to Settings>iCloud, tap Delete Account and choose Delete from My iDevice when prompted (your iCloud data will still be in iCloud). Next, go back to https//appleid.apple.com and change your primary email address and iCloud ID name back to the way it was. Now you can go to Settings>iCloud and sign in with your current iCloud ID and password.

When I try to set up my wife's Cloud account after upgrading to Mountain Lion, I click on the "send verification email" box, but the email never arrives. Her iPad and iPhone already seem to sync up in the Cloud, but no storage is being used. Any suggestions on how to get the account on her iMac?
Steve DriggersHi sddmd,
And you have checked her Junk mail folder?

My account suddenly started saying that my password for my apple ID is wrong, when I haven't changed it, and I know I've been typing it in correctly. So I tried to reset my password, but it needs my DOB for, and I created this account five years ago, and apparently didn't put in my actual one, so I can't reset my password that way. I got Apple to send me a reset email to the email address of the main Apple account, but the email never arrives in my inbox, or my spam/junk folders. I've tried this multiple times and still nothing. I've had to create a new account just to post this question, which is annoying in itself.
Can anyone help me?Hello CarenzaRielle,
I know not being able to access your Apple ID can be frustrating. I have located an article that will walk you through a series of troubleshooting steps to resolve this:
Apple ID: If you forget your password
http://support.apple.com/kb/ht5787
Refer to the Apple ID Support page if you are unable to reset your password using the steps in this article. If you know your Apple ID password, you can also choose to change your Apple ID or change your password.

Password recovery mail never arrives
Hey,
I had now multiple issues with recovering the passwords for multiple apple id accounts.
Those emails never arrive.
I requested a password recovery mail for about 10 times since yesterday evening. Nothing happens.
Other mails like the one you get after changing your apple id are coming through just fine, but password recovery emails are never!!!
It seems like this is an on purpose somehow, because it is broke for months if not years now.
What is wrong there?
An NO, I do not want to call anyone. If something is offered to me, it should work.
Thanks for reading. I am looking forward to your answers.
GillianWe are fellow users here on these forums, we won't know why you aren't getting the emails.
If you have a rescue email address on your account(s) then you've checked the inbox and spam folder on that account as well ?
If not then do you remember your answers to your security questions - if you do then you should be able to reset your password by answering them : http://iforgot.apple.com
Otherwise you will have to contact Support in your country if you want your passwords resetting : Apple ID: Contacting Apple for help with Apple ID account security -
I have had many emails addressed to my .me account which have not arrived on my MBP with 10.7.4, but do arrive immediately on my Mini with 10.6. I have looked in every possible junk folder and they are not there. Also, I have removed all filtering, and still, some .me emails never arrive. I have already nearly missed several important business emails if I had not seen them (by accident) on my mini. Thanks!
Hi TomSaul,
I've copied the POP settings below so you can check your imac to ensure these are correct.

SSL Encryption: Enabled (but not STARTTLS)
Username: your email address including the @btinternet or @btopenworld.com part
Password: your btinternet password
POP from folder: By default, POP will pull emails from your Inbox
SMTP
Outgoing Mail Server: mail.btinternet.com

SSL Encryption: Enabled (but not STARTTLS)

Password: your btinternet password

The ony place I have been able to send and receive email since the launch of iCloud has been the icloud website. I wasn't able to send email from my iphone 3gs or apple mail at all until today, now it finally appears to let me send email but it never arrives to its destination.
I can send an email from the icloud website without issue, and email sent from my icloud account using my iphone 3gs and apple mail seems to send fine and without error but who knows where it goes.
Has anyone else experienced this issue?
Thanks!
CharlesI figured out how to fix it... if anyone else has this problem, go to Outlook > Preferences > Accounts > select the IMAP account > Advanced > Folders and for "Store Sent Messages in this Folder:" select "Sent Messages (Server)."
