Emails sent from Q10 disappear when sent
I hadn't noticed this problem until about 2-3weeks ago, but now when I send an e-mail from my Blackberry Q10 it shows a tick and immediately disappears from view- not showing in Sent items either and whereas my tablet and my old Blackberry used to copy sent e-mails to my main server which would download them on to my laptop this doesn't happen either, but people do receive the e-mails, I would just like to know how to keep them in view or at least keep them on my virgin server so they download to my Outlook on my laptop... I've tried ensuring that Sync all folders is on and I receive sent messages to my Q10 which were sent from the laptop but not vice versa?? Hoping you can help...

Welcome to the BlackBerry Support Community.
Do you have the Hub configured to display your sent messages in the Hub > Menu > Settings > Display and Actions > Show Sent Messages or are you checking in the Sent folder for the email account?
Are you using a BlackBerry Enterprise Server? If not what type of email configuration are you using? (Active Sync, IMAP, Gmail, etc)

I am trying to send a friend a group email list from Contact. When it arrives there is only one contact in it. There should be 30! Any ideas?
The procedure for exporting a group is to right-click (or Control-click) on the group in Contacts and select Export Group vCard, then email the resulting file to your friend. Is that what you're doing? If not, give that a try. You can confirm the contents of the file by doing a Quick Look on the file.

Email disapears from in box when checked on computer
When i check my mail on my iphone everything is good. As soon as i check it on my computer it disapears from the inbox on my Iphone. Is this right or is something set up wrong. It is a verizon account and an Iphone 4.

One other question? Can i email pictures from my computer to my Iphone using the same email addressI actually want my email to be removed from my iphone inbox when I download my email to outlook on my desktop. I have an ATT account and I have the settings in Outlook set to delete the mail from the server. However, if I have already checked my email on my iphone, I want the messages removed from my iphone inbox once they are downloaded to my PC. This worked fine when I first got my iphone however now it seems to have stopped working. Does anyone know which setting controls this?

It's ok then as my other files are just around 241 MBs, I was worried as it didn't went down to zero as it was when I first held the phone, thought it might have taken up some malware or something as also the space kept on increasing one or two MB in every 15 minutes while connected to the net(I guess even this is ok!?)...
But it's still much much less than u said what might be problematic... -
How do I keep my email contacts from being deleted when I delete a phone contact?
Please HELP!! I am a new iphone user and I am not understanding all this "icloud" stuff. I have "Contacts" turned off in my phone's icloud settings and on my computer's icloud settings. Every time I add or delete a contact in my phone, the same changes are made in my email contacts. There are certain contacts I need in my email that I don't need in my phone. Any help would be appreciated. Also, if I have "Find My Iphone" turned on, do I still need an app for it to work and is it true that if a person's phone is lost or stolen it can't be tracked if someone turns off "Find My Iphone" (if a restrictions passcode has not been set up) in the icloud settings?

I purchased some alert tones on my iphone 4s via itunes yesterday. They all worked just fine until the phone ran out of battery and I plugged it in and restarted. They have vanished from the phone and when I connect to my PC they only show up as 'on my device' under tones and with a grey dotted circle by them. How do I get them back? This is crazy! I purchased one a second time, it worked, I switched my phone off and on again and it has gone again!!!
Having the same issue on multiple alert tones on my Iphone5c. After purchase they disappear from the phone and show up on my itune under Tones grayed out with a dotted circle next to them.

Email I was reading disappeared when I scrolled down. I had just updated ios 8
iphone 5c. I recently updated the ios 8. My touch may be slow or hard because of age. The email was not in trash.
After I got that message, the book disappeared from my iPad again. So I repeated the procedures a few times.
The book is still on my iPhone and my Mac's iBook apps.
Sometimes it would show up on the list of books for my iPad on iTunes. Sometimes iTunes would switch from all books to selected books.
Right now I see something I didn't see before. Some books show up greyed out with circles next to them.. But the book I'm having problems with is not there. Then I went back to the other part of iTunes where I select which books to sync to my iPad. It has "All books" selected. I checked "Selected books" in order to scroll down and see the book I want (Miles Errant). It is unchecked again. I wish I didn't have so much difficulty trying to include screen shots in this forum, we will see if those come through.
So I check that book again, synchronize again, look again, synchronize all again, etc. I don't expect anything will be different.
Done. I synchronized with that selected book sorted. Checked, it wasn't there. Went back to iTunes, and selected "All books", with "Books" scrolled down far enough for me to see this book. Miles Errant got unchecked. -
Emails vanish from .mac account when deleting them from iphone!
The problem we are having is that on my wifes minimac when she deletes emails on her iphone they vanish from her desktop .mac mail programme.. not good!
But.... my email on my G5 .mac mail programme account is set to .Mac IMAP and my emails that come into my iphone dont get deleted from my desktop .mac mail programme.
How can i set up her account to not delete the mails from her minimac mail account?
Her email is an additional account - whereas my account is the master account!
can anyone help?If you are accessing the account as an IMAP account with the email client on your computer as well as with the iPhone's email client, all server stored mailboxes are kept synchronized automatically between the email clients used to access the account. This cannot be changed. If you delete a message from the account's Inbox mailbox with the iPhone's email client, the message will no longer be available in the account's Inbox mailbox when checking the account with your computer's email client and vice-versa.
This is the nature of an IMAP account which cannot be changed.
If this is not the same for your account, this indicates you are accessing the account as a POP account with one or both email clients used to access the account. -

What is your computer OS ?
Assuming you have a PC, go to Control Panel, Device Manager, see if there are any yellow exclamation marks.
If there are click the + to expand, right click the driver and choose update.

But I do think you may have some conflict on your computer.

Send report as an email attachment from a page

I have page which generates a report based on two filters. After the report is generated, 'I want to send that report as an email attachment from that page, when button is clicked "Send Email"
Thanks a lot in advance.'I accomplished functionality I believe similar to what you are looking for in an application once by querying a report into an html e-mail message. This approach gives you all kinds of flexibility. At least this would be one way of doing it. I am going to include a simplified sample here of what the script looked like. I hope this is at least helpful.

Is your pc set to retrieve emails automatically and then remove them from the email server. This might preclude them ever reaching your phone.

An email sent from my iMac has a button linked to a clip hosted on Vimeo. When received, the link functions on iMac and iPad, but opens a window of app icons on iPhone and iPod touch. Any ideas what's wrong?
For anyone else reading this thread, it is worth knowing that sometimes an email is, or can be, corrupted thereby jamming the works. The solution above is good, but I just wanted to suggest another one.
If the problem arises, go to an online mail access service, such as Mail2Web.com and login to you mail account there and delete the offending message.
Problem solved.
And George, as this is all entirely voluntary, whinging about no takers may not endear people to you. Besides which, a few minutes of searching on Google would have found you a number of solutions. -
I just got my Ipad2 and have my email accounts set up. I have sent messages but when I go to the folder icon at the top right of the page and tap on SENT emails it makes the inbox email on the screen disappear. How do you check your sent emails? Thanks for your help.
You can send over WiFi, but it sounds as if you need to setup your Gmail account, or did you do this already?

Has anyone else had this problem? When I "share" documents from Pages or GoodReader via email It looks and sounds like documents have been sent but they never arrive and when I check my "sent" file, they aren't there. Very frustrating! I know I've sent them this way before and it worked so wondering if it's something to do with the latest updates to 6.1.3
Which email service provider are you using? You can install DropBox and share links to the files that way. When you snd to your self (cc or bcc) do the items show up? What file types and sizes are these attachments? Are you sending over WiFi or cellular connection? Try using more than one email account from a different provider (Gmail, yahoo, iCloud, etc) and see if it is email provider specific.
