Emails through BB bridge display " " instead of TAB spacing... only my problem?

Hi there,
when I read an email through BB bridge that uses TAB spacing, the TAB space is replaced by "&nbsp" instead of the TAB spacing. The email is displayed correctly on my Bold 9700 where the bridge connects to.
Also when I forward the email back to myself and read it on my Bold 9700 and TAB spacing is displayed correctly.
It seems as if email on the playbook is not able to interpret HTML TAB code.
Anyone else the same problem? Or give it a try?

This has been an issue for a while and RIM is working on a solution to it. I'm afraid it is a matter of waiting for the next OS upgrade and hope it is solved then.

As far as I am aware, SMTP is now the only supported option for configuring inbound emails through the SAPConnect interface into the Interaction Center agent inbox.

Pictures embedded in an email are not being displayed, hotmail and yahoo under FireFox of problem. Embedded pictures do appear with Explorer 10.

Clear the cache and the cookies from websites that cause problems.
"Clear the Cache":

Email list will not display individual addresses and names , only name of list.

First time user of lists. I created a new email list per help instructions-- created just fine. When I try to use it to write, no matter which methods I use, only the list name is displayed. It does send the email to all the addresses, but I want to be able to see all the individual addresses so bcc or removal etc. can be used prior to sending. Any suggestions?

Does the list description include spaces? If so, try to use a name without spaces or replace spaces with "_", there has been a bug about this reported as [https://bugzilla.mozilla.org/show_bug.cgi?id=1060901 Bug #1060901]. If you have an account on Bugzilla, please consider voting for that issue.
Several other people have sent in the similar support requests to yous, noting this happened after they upgraded to version 31.1.
The exact error message is: XXXX is not a valid e-mail address because it is not of the form user@host. You must correct it before sending the e-mail.

* While composing an email open the address book and select the list you are trying to send to, highlight all the names in the list and drag them to the To: box. This uses your existing data without modifying it.
* Replacing the blanks " " between the words in such lists' descriptions with an underscore "_". This requires modifying your mailing list(s) description(s).
* Downgrade to a previous version and disable automatic updates (Windows)

Email inbox will not display in blackberry bridge

i have five email accounts on my bb bold 9650 all of which displayed properly on my playbook through bb bridge until this morning. now one of the five accounts will not display. messages from that account will show as notifications on the playbook main screen and by clicking on the notification that message will even display, but when i attempt to view all messages in the inbox for that email account or for all messages, i get a never ending green spinning circle. i have rebooted, uninstalled and reinstalled bb bridge all to no avail. any ideas out there. thanks.

I had the same problem. Thanks to this forum, I scrolled down and saw what was an email from my self to myself, with no subject or message content. I was trying to send myself some calendar events from google cal (to no avail) -- The point being, It definitely stuck out as odd. I deleted it and presto! All of my messages appeared. Prior to that, I was getting my messages as notifications on the PB, and was able to view them, but was not able to display the inbox. Thanks for the help.

And there is the problem. Your pictures are opening up in Mac's own Preview app.
Do you want all your jpegs to open in Photoshop, or only when you are in Bridge?
Selecting a program to open a certain file is called: File Type Association.
You can choose this at the MacOS level or the Bridge level.
Here's how to do both:
Either MacOS or Bridge has the wrong app associated with the jpeg. Let's start with MacOS
Close Bridge and Preview. Select one of your jpegs, and press Cmd i, That will bring up the file info window.
Go down to the "Open with" section of File Info.
Choose Photoshop CS4 and click on the Change All... button to apply this choice to every jpeg on your Mac.
Then open Bridge and see if double-clicking opens it in Photoshop.
Now that means all jpegs on your Mac will open in Photoshop. Maybe you don't want that.
You can set your jpegs to open in Preview when Bridge is closed.
When you open Bridge, there is Preferences > File Type Associations where you can direct Bridge to open the jpegs in Photoshop when you are viewing in Bridge.

Hi Experts,
Few users of our portal are facing the below issue in standard Who'sWho application.
Users search for their name and the application displays it.
But there is some data inconsistency as the Official Phone number is been displayed instead of Official email ID.
At the back end the data is maintained properly.
When the official phone number is not maintained at R/3 the application displays the email id correct.
But once the official phone number is update the system picks the phone number as email id.
Why does it happen only with selected users ?
how can i solve this ?

I found out that there is no RFC which is called instead there is standard infoset query which is fired.
The name of the query is "/SAPQUERY/HR_ESS"
how shall I debug this query please help as I have not worked on it before.
The problem is not seen in quality portal.
Is it possible to create a request for the standard query and send it.

- Have you went to Settings>Store and signed out and then signed back in?
- Did you by chance create a new account? Apps are locked to the account that purchased them and you have to sign into that account to update apps purchased with that account.

How to set up HPLJ4M through AsanteTalk bridge?

I have a Titanium PB G4 running OS X 10.3.9, a USB inkjet printer that works fine and is the only printer currently in my printer list, and an old LaserJet 4M (Postscript Level II, AppleTalk) that I've never used with the Powerbook. I bought an AsanteTalk bridge for it a couple of years ago, but hardware problems with the printer (now solved — I can print to it from an old Mac clone running OS 8.6 via serial printer cable) prevented me from trying to set up the connection through the bridge to my Powerbook. Now I'm trying to do so, and getting nowhere. The AsanteTalk instructions aren't helpful at all (they're for an iMac running OS 8 or 9), and I can't find a straightforward, step-by step set of instructions anywhere else. If anyone can walk me through this I'll be very grateful. I'm a networking and Unix know-nothing, so keep it simple. I'll try below to provide information about my present setup. It's perfectly possible I've made dunderheaded mistakes, and if so, please say so.
The Tibook is happily connected to the Internet via Airport, wireless router, and cable modem, but not connected at all to any local wired network, so its Ethernet port is available for exclusive use by the bridge and Laserjet.
The Tibook is auto-sensing, so I'm using the Cat 5 patch cable that came with the AsanteTalk, not a crossover cable.
I've connected the two cables (Enet and printer), turned on the printer, powered up the AsanteTalk, and restarted the Powerbook. I have power and link lights on the Asantetalk. Its Tx and Rx lights both flicker for a few seconds after the bridge is powered up, then they go off and stay off.
In System Prefs>Network>Built-in Ethernet: TCP/IP is Off. Appletalk is On and set to Configure: Automatically. The pull-down Appletalk Zone menu is blank and inactive (greyed out); I can't select anything in it. In the Ethernet tab, I have an Ethernet ID shown (but I don't know whether it's the Powerbook's or the AsanteTalk's), and ethernet is also set to Configure: Automatically.
In Printer Setup Utility, I click Add and am immediately lost. I have no clue what I should select in either of the top two pull-down menus. At the bottom of the Add window, I can select my printer model as "HP LaserJet 4/4M PostScript 600dpi" or as HP LaserJet 4 Series, CUPS & Gimp-Print v. 4.2.5", but I don't know which to choose, and nothing changes regardless of which I do choose. The "Printer Address" and "Queue Name" fields are both blank, and the scroll arrows to the right of each are inactive. I'm at a dead end. Please help.

Yes, I paid about $1900 for the LJ4M when it was new and still the latest thing, with no idea what a classic I was buying. It's a tank — the folks at www.fixyourownprinter.com regard it as one of the best-built printers ever made. I had to buy a $45 repair kit to get it printing again after its two-year layoff, and now it looks like I need to replace a roller that's developed a flat spot so it will feed paper cleanly. But if I'd spent the same $120 instead on a cheap, modern laser printer, I'd have doubled or tripled my consumables cost, and then I would have had to throw the thing away when it broke, instead of being able to buy parts and fix it myself for years to come. I'm glad I stuck with the old horse and got it running again.

Support messages not getting displayed in Messages Tab - Solar01/02

Hi,
I am having an issue in displaying the support messages under the message tab of Solar01 and Solar02. If I try to create a new message, the notification pops up and also gets saved. But the message does not get displayed under the tab.
I can find that the message is properly created through transaction monitor.Even if I try to manually assign the support message number in Messages tab it gives an error saying the number does not exist.We are using SOLMAN 4.0 SP 11.
Please help. Points will be awarded for useful answers.

Dear Prabanath,
       I am not too sure you will be able to assign numbers to support messages. Run the report CRM_DNO_MONITOR and get the full number from the report and insert the ticket number in issue messages tab and click on save and go back one screen, it will ask you if you want to save, select yes.
   That worked for me. Recently I have strugged to resolve this. We are on Solman 4.0 SP12. Check if you have all necessary permissions for you and do you have any thing in sm21 or st22 by any chance if the issue is related to support pack ?

When I execute a report in background, I get spool. I need to convert the spool to xls format and email through attachment to the user.The xls file should not be saved on local system.
If I use the Spool Recepient tab in SM37 it mails the spool list as .txt file to the mail receipient. But I need to send it as an .xls file.

First, what you said is contradictory. You say "can't get a video signal", then say"the Mac wallpaper is broadcast, the mouse pointer is visible". "No video signal" means an absolutely black,blank screen. It sounds like you have plenty of signal.
I am supposing what you are seeing is actually a blank desktop, which is to be expected if your settings are such that you are extending the desktop, instead of mirroring it.
Within the preference panes is a setting that allows you to change this. Open System Preferences, click Displays, and then click Arrangement. You will see that you are extending the desktop. Change that setting.
