Emails with Phantom Characters (again) when viewed by Windows Users

Seems about every six months the problems of random characters showing up my emails from my Apple to Windows users. Usually this as been "B's" but lately "A's" with carrot signs over them.
I have noticed that this comes from all my Apple computers so it not just one of my computers.
I have put this "fix" in:

But it does not seem to fix the problems. BTW--the random characters seem to pop up where space bar.
Any clue what to do next--the window users are getting ****** at my emails.

You do know RTF with Tiger Mail is not sent as HTML with a newly composed message unless certain things occur.
Selecting a different font, font size or color from the font panel when composing the message - (using the default message font only via Mail preferences without making any other changes sends the message as Plain Text).
Copy/Paste HTML formatted text from another source - website or another message that as composed in HTML.
Using a Signature that was composed in HTML or uses a different font from the default message font or includes an image.
Changing text format - bold, italics or underline for selected text.
This link may be helpful but other than this and until MS decides to fix the related bugs - which they likely aren't very motivated to do in regards to Apple's Mail application.

You may also need to have them check their interpreter to make sure the email is being received in the same format it is being sent.

Reply email with chinese characters become

My colleagues sent an email with Chinese characters while I'm outside the office, so I replied it using my iPhone 4S with Chinese characters too.
However, my colleagues (she is using Outlook) said the email that she received is not readable. All the Chinese characters become garbled.
This issue also applied to iPad 2 because I again resent it using my iPad 2.
Is there a way to overcome this issue? Otherwise, I cannot do my work when I'm away my desk.

If I create a new mail using my iPhone 4GS or iPad 2, I won't have the problem.
This issue only applied when I reply or forward an email from my colleagues whoes emails contain Chinese characters. To avoid this issue, the only language I can use is typing English but some of my colleagues only understand Chinese.
I believe this problem is an encolding issue too because this case also apply on the Mail in my MacBook Pro. But I can change my encoding to "Traditional Chinese - Big 5" on Mail in my MBP but iPhone & iPad don't have this function.
The problem still there even I switched the OS language b/w English and Chinese.

Keep your programs and data through the Windows 10 upgrade (Recommended)
If you choose to upgrade to Windows 10 whilst keeping your programs and data, the Freedome application does not get removed and continues to work normally after the upgrade.
Make a fresh (clean) Windows 10 installation
If you choose to make a fresh (clean) Windows 10 installation, you will need to reinstall Freedome after the Windows 10 upgrade. Do note that this method of upgrade requires you to type in a new subscription code as every installation of Freedome uses one of your available subscriptions.
Note: If you have had an expired trial subscription of Freedome on your computer before the Windows upgrade, it will remain expired after Windows has been upgraded. This applies to both the Windows upgrade methods mentioned above.

Thanks but the tool only works if you have one working windows installation and it's designed for mult-boot systems. I don't have a multi-boot system and when the Windows 10 upgrade fails there is no active working Windows install to turn to. The partition gets corrupted and has a "RAW" status until you run chkdsk with gets it back to "NTFS" status but it won't boot. My only two options at this point is to restore back to an image backup or install Windows 7 all over again. I'm just going to give up on this HP laptop, to me it's just not compatible with running this upgrade, so unless someone else has any other ideas this attempt to upgrade is over. Thanks again

Trouble with the image quality when viewing under 100%. First time posting on the forum.

Hello everyone. I am sorry we have the get acquainted this way but I am having some issues and this is one of my last options of getting help.   Allow me to explain the problem.    When viewing a file under 100% zoom, everything looks jagged like the anti aliasing is missing. Once I zoom in to 100%, everything looks the way it should. The saved file ( jpeg format for instance) is okay. I can zoom out and it still looks true to the image. The problem is related to photoshop. I installed my latest GPU drivers twice just to be sure and it was not from that.   This problem started last night and I don`t quite know how to solve it. If I work on small resolution images, it isn`t such a bad problem because I will be working on 100% zoom, but I am working on high resolution images/ paintings. Somewhere around 8000x5000 pixels thus, working at 100% is not that doable. I attached an image that shows this issue. The one on the right is the zoomed out version and the one on the left is the zoomed in version. Yes, the noise is affected by this, badly, but this started last night. up until then everything looked good even with noise or an out of this world sharpness. I can`t imagine what I could have done to trigger this.
   This being said, I am at the mercy of the more knowledgeable folks from around here. I do hope I posted this question in the right section. This is my first post here so sorry if I messed something up.   Looking forward to your replies.

Here is a simplistic view that I feel may help you understand reality.
The only time you're looking at your image pixels in Photoshop is when you're zoomed in to 100%,   There your look at the actual image pixels Photoshop has for your image at your displays resolution.
At any other zoom level you are looking a scaled image that has more or less pixels than your actual image these too are displayed at your display resolution.
The scaling done by Photoshop is done for displaying your image is done for good performance not for the best image quality a quick interpolation.   Therefore at some zoom levels image quality looks poorer than at other zoom levels.
High resolution Display have now add a new wrinkle.   User interfaces were designed for displays with resolutions around 100 PPI elements like text, icon, and other things like checkboxes, buttons etc. were created so there size would be useable are this more or less fixed 100 PPI resolution.   While Photoshop was designed to scale your images so you can work well on it is was not designed with a scalable UI. Photoshop can not scale its user interface independently from its image display display window for you displays high resolution. Photoshop's Image display area has the same resolution as the rest of Photoshop User Interface. Just like there is only one resolution in all layers in a document. CC 2014 2xUI changes that. PS UI is scaled to 1/2 resolution the image Area is at the displays actual resolution.
Photoshop CC 2014 2x UI scales all of Photoshop User Interface including the image display to 200% which is 1/2 your display resolution effectively cutting you display pixel count to 1/4 its actual pixel count.   Your once again running on a low resolution display.     If your display has a native resolution 200 PPI you're running it at 100 ppi if your display has a 300 PPI resolution you're running it at 150ppi.    Which defeats the reason of having high resolution. Which is you would like to be able to edit your images at print resolution. Adobe cc2x UI scales the UI but not the image window soa inage is 216ppi on the Surface Pro 3 the UI is large and dpoes not fit. screen
To be able to edit your images at print resolution you need a display the has a print resolution and you need and application the can scale its image display and its UI independently.
Current there is no OS interface for having multiple resolutions areas on a display and applications like Photoshop can not scale UI and Image independently. OS and Photoshop can scale what is displayed. Adobe Photoshop executable is coded in a way that it tell Microsoft Windows OS that it will handle display scaling so it can using your displays native resolution. Currently Only Photoshop CC 2014 Provides you with the option of running you display at half resolution.
Windows can scale you display to many resolution and as several presets. like 100%, 125%, 150% and like Adobe 200% half resolution.    You can make a Windows Registry and add an External Photoshop Manifest file the tell's Microsoft Windows to handle display scaling. I have a Microsoft Surface Pro 3 m windows machine. Its LCD has a 216PPI resolution. Windows 8.1 had 4 preset for scaling its LCD.
Surface Pro 3 LCD Display 12" IPS display 3:2 aspect ratio 9.984603532054124" Wide, 6.656402354702749" High 216.3330765278394 PPI
Microsoft Preset Display scaling
100% 2160x1440   216 PPI

Most user these days has 1024x768 or better displays and Web pages are often authored for 800x600 pixels pages. So the give you a better handle on Resolution and scaling I have edit a 800x600 document with 25x25 px grid one my Surface pro 3

Pb with timeline-integrated MP3 when viewing from a browser

Hi,
I have an anim called interface.swf which is loading an intro
called intro.swf.
That intro is infact a compositing anim whose timeline
wontains some MP3 sounds overlapping one another and beginning at
different times.
All is working fine when I run my interface.swf file in a
standalone flash player or directly from flash, BUT when launching
it in a web browser (Firefox or IE), one and only one MP3 sound
(each time the same sound), is beginning at the beginning of my
intro anim instead of the frame it is assigned to in my timeline.
It looks as if that very MP3 sound doesn't care about the frame at
which it begins.
It is really strange and it occurs only when viewing it in a
browser (on a server or in local).
Has such a problem already been noticed? It is very strange
Is there any explananation?

Do you have any idea what is really happening? Because I really wanted to have a loading text only before the whole site is loaded. The SIMULATED DOWNLOAD in Flash CS4 is working great but whenever copy it in my hosting server and view it in my browser the preloader is not working.

We are creating reports with Crystal Report for .Net. We both have a Windows and a Web application connecting to our database. The problem occurs only with the Windows application. We create a report and in the dialog that appears, we choose to export the report in MS Word format. Everythinglooks fine because after we save the document, MS Word is able to open and display the document. However, when we decide to add this Word document in the database in a table that has a image column bound to a full-text indexing schema, that document is never indexed. After fiddling around for a few hours, we realized that the Word document produced during the export is not a true Word document but rather a RTF document that was given a ".doc" extension. Is there a way to have a real Word document when exporting in Windows. The problem does not arise in Web because when we export, the report is displayed in Internet Explorer through the Office plugin. The Office plugin knows how to same a real Word document.
There is also a problem when exporting to Excel in Windows. It does not yield the same structure as in Web. The format of the export in Windows is not compatible with the Office IFilter of SQL Server 2000/2005, therefore the content is not available for search queries.
Any patches to fix this problem?

Attachments Not Opening When Sending to Windows Users

I have a macbbook pro and iphone 3g. When I receive an email from a windows user; I can see the attachment (i.e.)Jpeg fine on my phone. But 80% of the time when I forward the email to a windows user, the email reaches but the picture does not (they just see and empty pic frame with a tiny cross. If the send the same email from my laptop macbook pro; the windows users are getting my emails fine with the attachments. Is there anything I can do to correct this. I have done all the basic settings on iphone correctly... Please help.

same thing really. under the wrench is "Share and Print", you choose email and then choose the format (XL).
