Embed Form

Is it possible to embed the actual form itself instead of just the Form File with the responses? This would seem to be a much more useful use of the embed function, or even give us the option for both/either to embed. I think the service has great potential but still needs some work to be a fully useful service. Another few early notes, improve the speed of loading and I would also throw my vote in for some type of notification system with the option for immediate alerts to whoever is listed as having access to the form with the ability to select by individual or group.
As to my original inquiry though, what I would deally like to do is embed my form https://adobeformscentral.com/?f=KPRHAGNA8QQu15t6kvhAvA here: http://web.me.com/aleeweb/Site/RSVP.html, but the embed code only embeds the Form File view. Am I doing something wrong is this not supported?
Many thanks and keep up the great work!

The speed issue was mainly referring to the load time for the responses
table when it is embedded. The speed of the form itself seems to be fine.
To solve the embedding issue for the time being I simply added the form as
an iFrame on the page I needed it, but I suspect this process will be
beyond the target audience of this service. I would think that the form
embedding would be critical. Also it would be nice to have the option to
select the background color of the page the form is on as well.
Thanks for your response

  • Embed Form not working in Dreamweaver

When the code for Embed Form is copied and placed into my Dreamweaver page, the form will NOT allow users to fill out the form when they go to my site. None of the fields are active. I had to use the Web Form in order to get an active form. Please advise.

If you're not getting a confirmation or error, then it sounds like
    if ($HTTP_SERVER_VARS['REQUEST_METHOD']=="POST")
is not evaluating true. Echo the value of ($HTTP_SERVER_VARS['REQUEST_METHOD'] to see what it is. You may have to convert it to upper case.

  • Edit Css in Embed form

    Hi
I have embed forms in my site and I want to edit the Css file.
Could you please let me know where can I find it ???
    Many Thanks / Best regards

    Hi,
I am not sure if you are refering your webpage when you say "Template", if so changing the css of your webpage will not affect the FormsCentral responses.
    Thanks,

  • Can I embed form (not url) in Outlook email?

I would like to send out a 3-question survey to about 50 people.  I would like to embed (not link) the survey in an email.
    Is this possible?

    Hi,
Sorry, FormsCentral does not support this.  It is not possible to embed the form in the email
    Thanks,

  • Changing the embed form size

How do you change the form size in the embed code? Your forum states "
Form Width: This can be changed by going to the Form Setup dialog on the File menu", but there is not a Form Setup choice under the File menu

The Form Setup menu item appears when you have the form open and are in the Design tab.

  • Is it possible to embed one form into another form?

    I have two Oracle 6i forms - Form A and Form B.
Both forms are accessed independently at this time (from separate menu entries).
I would like to add a new tab on Form A that, when selected, opens Form B within Form A (e.g. I wish to embed Form B into Form A).
Is this feasible to do? I'm aware that it is possible to launch Form B from Form A (using a button) but we'd prefer to directly embed Form B into a tabbed window on Form A, if it is technically feasible to do.
Greatly appreciate any suggestions or insight anyone can provide as per whether or not this is feasible.
    Kind Regards,
    Jeremy

Thanks Andreas -- this is what I was assuming based on the research I've done so far.
Would you happen to know if it is possible to open Form B (in a new window) when a tab is clicked on Form A, or can this only be done when a button is pressed on Form A (when-button-pressed trigger)?

    Jeremy

  • Embed Fonts savinf a form (pdf)

    Hi,
Can someone tell me what is the difference from saving a form with or withour embed forms selected?
Without embed fonts selected, the form get smaller, what it is better, but what is the disadvantage?
    Thank you

    Hi Chris,
I know this is a dead discussion but I am having many problems with embedding. Basically (1), after saving as Dynamic PDF with fonts embedded and with permanently replace all fonts I still get weird replacements when the file is opened in Reader. Then (2), when I tried to replace all the substitutions with Arial and Times and NOT embed the PDF still shows some embedded fonts (Myriad, Franklin) when opened in Reader in doc properties. This seems Very buggy?! Is there any known issue and/or workaround. Thanks!

  • Can I add a simple PDF to the forms site?

I am looking to add a simple pdf - with no form content to my website and use my forms account to do so.  Is that possible?  I tried importing a pdf, but it needs editable content.  Thank you for any help.

    Hello Nancy,
    1. You can embed the form in your website as a widget.
Go to "Distribute" Tab -> then look out for script under "Embed Form".
    2. You can also save your Formscentral form as a PDF form and then host the PDF separately and give its link in your website.

  • Loving embedded forms

    Hi FormsCentral,
I'm very excited about having the ability to embed forms.   I'm working with a group of grade 5 teachers on a photojournalist activity.  Students visited a local historic site on a field trip and snapped photos based on assigned categories.  We are sharing the photos on a wiki site for all students to view.  We will use an embedded FormsCentral survey to collect votes in each category.  The form embedded with no issues using the Other HTML widget on wikispaces.  http://siwstudent.ferryway.wikispaces.net/photojournal  Scroll down the page to view the embedded survey.
I had to create an thumbnail image for each category in Fireworks.
I would like to attach thumbnail images to question responses in the future.
    thanks,
    -Robert

Thank you for your kind words. We'll definitely add your request to our list.

  • Mozilla cutting off the bottom of my FormsCentral Form

All the content on my site is in <section>tags and everything fits beatifully except this form (meaning there is no height set in the css for the sections) and only on firefox. Has anyone else run into this? It is cutting off the submit button which makes the form useless in firefox.

Did you use FormsCentral's Embed feature to embed your form in your site's HTML page? To ensure the form is correctly embedded in your web page, you'll need to let the FormsCentral generate the embed code for you. To do that, please go to the Distribute tab, and click the Embed button in the Web Form section. A pop-up dialog will be shown to let you pick the embed form options. Once you have the options you want, click Copy, which copies the embed code into your computer's clipboard. Then you can paste the code into your own web page.
This document (http://forums.adobe.com/docs/DOC-1991) explains some common problems we have ever seen in our custimer support cases for embedding FormsCentral Forms. Please take a look. I hope it'll help you a bit.

  • Using Form in muse site

I have a muse site that is not hosted on the adobe business catalyst so the form widget doesn't work for me.
I was wondering -- Could I develop a acrobat form for a webpage and would it export okay from my muse file
to html file and then I could upload to my hosted account?   If so, would the configurations set up in the acrobat
form stay in tack on the export to html or would I need to code or configure for my hosted site?

    Hello,
You need to get the Embed code from Jotforms and yoo can insert the Emed code by clicking on Object>Insert HTML in Muse. NAd in the Edit HTML Window you can insert the HTML code you get from Jotforms.
To get the Embed code from Jotforms, you need to click  on Setup and Embed tab at the top of the form in Jotforms and then click on Embed form button at the top in the toolbar.
From the window that comes up, you can get the Embed code and use  it in Muse.
    Hope this helps.
    Regards,
    Sachin

  • Is Adobe Form Central compatible with WIX?

Is Adobe Form Central compatible with WIX.com?

    Hi kbeam-bci,
While I'm not very familiar with WIX.com, Adobe FormsCentral does have an Embed Form option, which allows you to embed your form on a website. There are also several Embed options, such as including (or not) the page background colors and header, among others.
Please let me know if this answers your question.
    Best,
