Embed image in form not displayed

I am trying to embed an image in the form i.e., point an image that is in my local workbench.
While I was testing from my local Workbench/Designer.
I created a process which receives input xml document and sends the pdf document as response.
However, when I deploy my process on the EB3 server and try to get the PDF from the java code, here is what happens
(1) There is a check box in the designer --> Embed Image.
If I check this check box, then I get pdf damanged error and the pdf will not load in my servlet
(2) If I don't check the check box, then the pdf come but the image is missing.
I would appreciate if someone helps me to avoid the error and get the image in the pdf.

It should work fine in 5.4 It was known issue in 5.3. I could not reproduce the issue on 5.4. Are you encountering the same issue for OOB text image component ? If so send the content of [1].

Rich text box used in Infopath Form not displaying option to get images from Computer

Hello,
We have used "Rich text box" in Infopath Form which is not displaying option to get images from Computer.
Options available are : From Address, From SharePoint
But if we Rich text box in list, then it works fine with "From Computer" option.
can you please help me out to get this option.

Hi,
From your description, there is no “From Computer” option to get images with rich text box in InfoPath form.
Per my knowledge, by design there are “From Address” and “From SharePoint” options without “From Computer” option in rich text box in InfoPath form. As a workaround, you can develop a custom InfoPath Rich Text box to do it.
About developing a custom InfoPath control, I suggest you create a new thread on the forum “Visual Studio Tools for Office”, more experts will assist you with InfoPath development.

KM Repository images,and XML Forms not displaying.

Hello All,
I am currently running NW04 SPS14 Portal with KM & Collaboration.
However, the icons in the Content Management>> Explorer>> Documents repository are not displaying. Instead a little while box, with a red x sign appears in place of the images.
When I launch the XML Forms builder, the application doesnt load.
Also, the content developed using XML forms are no longer displaying, instead I get an error message "<b>Resource cannot be displayed with XML Resource Renderer</b>"
I will appreciate any suggestion that will help to resolve this problem.

HTML Form Not Displaying Correctly in Outlook 2010 (Exchange 2013)

I have recently migrated to Exchange 2013. Clients are still using Outlook 2010. There is an application that automatically sends an HTML form by email for the users to fill in. The form consists of radio buttons, text areas and drop down list. However,
in Outlook 2010, the form is not rendered properly.
When I clicked the "If there are problems with how this message is displayed, click here to view it in a web browser" link, the email is opened in
IE and the form is displayed correctly.
I also tried opening the same email in other clients, such as Thunderbird, Apple Mail Client and in mobile phones - the form is displayed correctly. I wonder
why it fails to do so in Outlook 2010. The user mentioned that this does not happen in Outlook 2003 and prior to migration (I used Exchange 2010 previously). I have also tried using OWA, but the form does not display correctly
Any help?

Outlook 2007 or newer use Microsoft Word for their HTML engine.

many things that do not work in different clients.I think Someone needs to re-code
the HTML form to make it work in the current versions of Outlook. You can try formatting with text and HTML and see the results.

Button Text on Form not Displaying

I am using Adobe Acrobat Pro 8, and I have added a button to reset the form fields. The button has some text on top, but the text on the button does not display until I click down on the button in the preview pane. How can I make the button text visible always? Thanks in advance for your support..
I'm having the same problem with the submit button on a form in Acrobat 9 Pro Extended. No matter what I do, the button text does not display. Any ideas?

What font are you using? What is the font color set to? What font size? Can you post a sample somewhere?
You specify the label text for a button using the Options tab of the Button Properties dialog. Describe each of the settings on this page. In particular, you can have a different label for the Up, Down, and Rollover states.

Flash forms -- Not displaying in IE

This is my first foray into flash forms, and I discovered
yesterday that while they look/work beautifully in Firefox
(2.0.0.4), they're not displaying at all in IE (6 or 7).
I'm using it to force the user to input their date in a
uniform format, so I'm sure there's a non-flash workaround. I'd
like to get this sorted out though, so my future work with flash
can be more involved.

I think I've narrowed the problem down -- it's not that it
won't display my flash form in IE, it's that it won't display it in
a Fusebox environment. I'm going to poke over at their site to see
what they have to say -- I suspect I'll need to upgrade the version
of Fusebox that I'm using. :)

ADS configuration error - PDF form not displaying for Java WebDynpro

We have installed .. NW2004s SP12 on HP-UX OS.
As of now all the services are working fine, recently started configuring "Adobe Document Services", followed all the instructions given in the guide.

Unfortunately, form is displaying in my sneak preview version (Nw2004s SP9), getting error when deployed into Dev server - NW2004s SP12 on HP-UX.
We haven't installed ADS separately, making use of ADS comes with the default installation.

Installed Reader in my PC, i can view the deployed interactive form thru sneak preview, but getting the following error when running the same application thru my development server.

I've installed Adobe Reader in the client PC not is the server system.

BUG : FORMS not displaying values stored in FLOAT datatypes.

APEX 2.2.1.
Error occurs on both V9.2.0.4 and V10.2.
I'm working on a "report with form" combination and have been fighting a problem where the data entered into a form will save correctly and show in the report, but when you choose to edit the record to update it, the value will not display in the form at all.
I went round and round, and finally discovered that the problem had to do with the FLOAT datatype being used to store the data.
When creating a default "Report with Edit form" on the following two example tables, the form works correctly with SLA_SCHEDULE2 but not with SLA_SCHEDULE1

This allows you to call the function ANYWHERE you use a FLOAT, without having to create one function per table/column you might need to use it against.
I know that I could have used a 'USING' statement on the cursor to do the replacements, but I always find it easier to debug replacement values using the REPLACE function.

Mail with image and PDF not displaying correctly on Outlook

OS X Mountain Lion, Mail 6.1 (everything up to date)
Emails with mixed image and PDF attachments send from my MacBoox Pro are not being displayed correctly when received on Outlook. It is not an Outlook problem.
Multiple inline images - ok
I compose an email, rich text format, insert severnal inline images, send to colleage on Windows 7 using Outlook, all received ok. He sees the message with inline images.
Multiple inline images and PDF - not ok
I compose a similar email with multiple inline images, but attach a PDF. This time all of the attachments (images and PDF) appear at the end of the message when viewed in Outlook.
Gmail browser comparison
I repeat the above from a Gmail account via Safari and I can make an email with inline images and PDF attachments and it works.
Any thoughts, tips, bug reports, etc appreciated.

My problem was solved by installing Attachment Tamer.
It could also have been solved by emailing from Gmail directly.
The guys I work with use Outlook and were suprised to see this behaviour.
It's only basic OS X email that has a problem.
I wholeheartedly agree that the standard for emails are not conducive for rich layout control.
But - when my email just has images I had no problems. Take for example the email notifications we're getting from this thread - there are images and layout etc and work fine.
The key feature from Attachment Tamer hints at the problem (and its solution):
send images embedded in HTML layout and safely mix embedded images with other attachments;

Hi I have inserted 1 decimal field in my adobe form and display pattern of that field I have given as $(zzz,zzz,zzz,zz9.99).
but when i deploy my application and see in the portal, $ sign is not getting displayed properly, its not able to get interpreted properly.

Forms not Displaying in IE

I believe the problem is that we are not properly handling the single quote in your website's redirected url: http://www.patriots1787.com/Ted's%20Website/tedswebsiteIndex.html.
If you change the single quote to %27, the form should then work.
We are working on a fix that will be available in an upcoming release.

Help needed - XML forms not displaying in my repository

I could really do with some help here. I have a custom XML form for news articles. It works fine in the standard documents repository, but I have my iView pointing to a folder in my own CM repository.
When a user tries to directly access the "show" form, instead of the form it displays the XML code. Any ideas why this is?
My CM repository is running the following services:
layout, properties, svc_acl, tbp

I have the same problem. When I'm trying to create an XML file using XML form in the repository /etc, I get the following error:
XML - Forms
Cannot create item e0977870-cf29-2d10-bb89-d00b5761268c.xml in collection /etc/public/; operation is not supported.
When I do the same in repository /documents, it works fine.
I think, I've made the neccesary settings for the repository (Form Based Publishing, ...).
Any clues will be highly appreciated.

When u use a create form wizard, it ask u about your primary key column, and build the form with the primary key element hidden.
Depending you data structure, you'd want the primary key be generated trough a trigger firing a sequence or not, but many times this is a no relevant data for the user but relevant to manipulate DML operations.
Depending your preferences, you can change this element type to standard (read only) o standard read write to "show" it, but this is not an option when you manage couple of tables where primary key of master tables are referenced in detail tables.

    sub : arabic fonts of the pdf /word doc are not displaying
    in detail :
    i have a word document and pdf which contains data like
    enter name : -
( enter name in arabic language written)
    enter number ..----
( enter number in arabic language written)
when i developed this in nwds, imported the dos as AIF , but when deployed and
run...i could only see
   enter name: -
   and the arbi letters are replaced with question marks ??? ..........
   Now , i have to do ...in order to get the letters in arabic as in the pdf or word doc.
while execution time,,,it is displaying ( if u have internet,,,,,click ok to update...
after pressing ok,,,,,it is giving as.....no updates at this time.....and finally the output is not coming as desired )
