Embed Livecycle form into Outlook email

Anybody know of a way to, upon clicking submit, embed my form into the actual body of an Outlook email? Accounting needs this in order to keep an audit trail on monies being transferred.

You should not embed an html form in an email. While it may work with some email clients, it will not work in most clients.
Instead you should link to the form that is located on a web server somewhere.
You could also use Google Docs to create your form and gather replies.

Embed Livecycle Form in Java Applikation

Hi,
we are using Adobe Acrobat 9 to create Livecycle Forms. Is there a way to display or embed livecycle forms in a Java Apllication.
I know there was a java bean from adobe for displaying pdf's but it doesn't seem that this java viewer is compatible with Livecycle PDF's and up to date or currently in development.
Im asking this question because we want to display the user a livecycle form inside a java app, let him edit the form and then we want to save the edited livecycle form.
Is this possible ?

Hi,
If you set up an Acrobat PDF (maybe with instruction as to how to fill out the form), then attach the XFA form to the PDF. The use could open the attachment; fill in the form; save it (back to the PDF) and then your Acrobat save as button will save the PDF.
The difficulty will be getting the users' input in the XFA form fields back into the PDF form, in order to affect the filename.
I was given a tip for a app.Media method (examples attached), which works for XFA forms. Information that is typed into Form 1, will automatically appear in Form 2 when it is opened. For example you may be able to get the XFA form to "broadcast" the values of the fields you want, but I am not sure if you can get the AcroForm to receive them (I expect you can because the script is using event.target).

Embed a form into a website?

SO, at my company we use Creative Cloud(2 users) and the online Document services....within this new Document Cloud and eSign setup, is there a way to embed an eSign document into a webpage where website visitors can sign it and it be tracked and so forth.
I was told I had to upgrade to the Premium version of DocuCloud, but when I call to get the pricing and upgrade I get bounced back and forth between Individual sales, Enterprise sales, and direct sales(Same as Individual?.. either way I was transferred 6 times and talked to 3 people and each said I was in the wrong place), before finally being transferred to someone saying that Adobe Acrobat could handle this natively...however with the last update it's been replaced with the Acrobat pro DC app(which I must say is pretty nice but doesn't help me here ha).
This use to be a simple button in echosign and now no one seems to know where this feature went or how to actually get it.
If it is a matter of upgrading...awesome! perfectly willing to do that...I would just like to be pointed to someone who can actually help upgrade me and not bounce me all over the place.
Or if its hiding in Acrobat pro DC or eSign somewhere, it would great if someone could point me to it!

Merging Livecycle Forms into 1 PDF

Can someone please tell me how to merge Livecycle forms into one PDF! when i merge the forms only the last form has the generate data.

Initially I started trying to create a form that would flow on to the next page in LiveCycle. After many frustrating days and hours I decided to populate each page individually. When I populate the forms in ColdFusion the individual PDFs in which I want to merge together both contain the generated data. When I merge the pdfs into one I lost the data from the first page. I have seen previous posts regarding the inability to merge interactive forms created in LiveCycle with ColdFusion, I was curious if there was another way I could accomplish with for example with JavaScript etc. Any help or suggestions regarding this matter are extremely appreciated. Is it possible to embed one form into another form?

I have two Oracle 6i forms - Form A and Form B.
Both forms are accessed independently at this time (from separate menu entries).
I would like to add a new tab on Form A that, when selected, opens Form B within Form A (e.g. I wish to embed Form B into Form A).
Is this feasible to do? I'm aware that it is possible to launch Form B from Form A (using a button) but we'd prefer to directly embed Form B into a tabbed window on Form A, if it is technically feasible to do.
Greatly appreciate any suggestions or insight anyone can provide as per whether or not this is feasible.

Thanks Andreas -- this is what I was assuming based on the research I've done so far.
Would you happen to know if it is possible to open Form B (in a new window) when a tab is clicked on Form A, or can this only be done when a button is pressed on Form A (when-button-pressed trigger)?

Embed html form into lightbox?

Why won't my Formscentral form embed? I need it to be a pop-up, but it won't work within a composition lightbox. I had some success with a composition tooltip, but the close button won't work, it doesn't seem to be connected to the pop-up because it's visible on the page before the pop-up is opened. This is something I have been working on for a couple days now, and any help would be appreciated.

Here is a screenshot of how the site looks when the form is embedded outside of a lightbox widget. I have added the lightbox display again so you can see the behavior. The trigger is in the upper left corner, but you won't get the chance to use it.

If I embed within a widget other than lightbox, this issue does not happen, but then I don't have the close button function.

Can I embed my form into two different websites?

We are collecting registrations for an event that two organizations are putting on together. Is there an issue if we use the same embed code on the website of each organization? If not, will we be able to automatically determine which site the registration came through or should I add that as an option on the form itself?

You should be able to use the same code. You can also create a duplicate form and use it on the other site and then combine the responses after exporting.

Can i embed html code into my email signature

I am trying to create a e-mail signature that includes an image as well as html code. I have no idea how to get this done. Help!

Are you referring to use of content within a content ?
You can use any composition or panel to achieve this, but if you are referring to use html content to another html content , then you would need to work out with the code and combine them and then insert on page so that both html functions properly.

Embed a form into a wordpress page

Can anyone tell me how to do this? When I copy and paste the code from FormsCentral it shows a blank page.

Maybe post on that thread so that the person who got it working could reply. You could also try to send a presonal message to the person who got it working.

Inserting or embed and image into cfmail output from a database-stored path to an actual image.

I am trying to insert or embed and image into cfmail from a database-stored path to an actual image. The actual JPEG image is stored in a folder called "images_personnel". The path to the image under the column titled photopath is stored in my database table as "/file/images_personnel/28.jpg". Displaying the image on the screen renders without a problem, embedding the same image as part of a cfloop query does not insert/embed the image into an email. All of the other output of the same cfloop displays and emails just fine. However none of the photos of each personelle show up. What an I doing wrong?

You'll need to provide a full URL link to the image ("http://mywebserver/file/images_personnel/28.jpg"), not just a relative path. Remember, the email client that is used to view the email content knows nothing of the internals of your web server - it can only follow a complete URL to get images and other resources.

Embedding LiveCycle forms within Java UI

Hi,
we are using Adobe Acrobat 9 to create Livecycle Forms.
Is there a way to EMBED LiveCycle forms in browser based Applications (Java, .Net etc).
We want to display the LiveCycle form inside an existing browser based UI, and want to store the information entered by the user by calling a web service.
Is this possible ?

An LC form is just a PDF and as such a viewer program needs to be present to display it. Typically Reader or Acrobat is on the users machine and your app can bring up a frame and load that PDF in a version of the viewer as an ActiveX control (this associtaion is made by the use of the mime type).
Being able to submit that information through a web service is possible but the ability to call web services from Reader is a restricted feature...so you woudl have to Reader extend the form using LiveCycle Reader Extensions server. If your users are using Acrobat this is not a requirement.
