Embedd Video in an App.

*Hi Community,*
I'm new in development and just started with Xcode and Objective-C.
I had first experiences with the interface, and handling of the dev-tools.
I want to make an app which plays an video which is split in 3 parts.
When you start the App, the first Video should start immediately. After the Video is finished with playing, it should freeze in the last frame.
Now if the user touches the screen, the next Video should be shown without a brake among the Videos.
The second Video should play to the last frame too, and freeze aggain.
Then after a touch, the third video should appear, without a brake too, and afterwards the app should end automatically.
I hope I've described my problem close enough.
Please don't flame me to death, I've used the search function,
but found nothing what was really usefull.
Hope that someone could help me!

I have also noticed all my settings won't stay set, example....I removed the check mark from "third party cookies", the when I close Firefox and reopen the check mark is back, also my tool bar has screwed up....can't reset, been having trouble the up grade.

How come although iPads are getting more powerful, the iOS apps from apple are so mediocre and just not that great? We spend all this money for the latest ipad and all we get is these $5 video and music apps from apple. Why create the iOS platform and only offer so so apps like IMovie and GarageBand ? While other developers are offering much better apps like pinnacle studio for video, Cubasis and Auria for music production, apple has not showed much growth in terms of innovation. While there's nothing wrong with making an app like GarageBand where "anyone " can make a song, how about something for real musicians or an app not so basic as it get for video editing? After spending 0ver $700 on an ipad I'd be willing to spend more than $5 for a better video or audio app.

First, try a system reset although I can't give you any confidence. It cures many ills and it's quick, easy and harmless...
Hold down the on/off switch and the Home button simultaneously until you see the Apple logo. Ignore the "Slide to power off" text if it appears. You will not lose any apps, data, music, movies, settings, etc.
If the Reset doesn't work, try a Restore. Note that it's nowhere near as quick as a Reset. It could take well over an hour! Connect via cable to the computer that you use for sync. From iTunes, select the iPad/iPod and then select the Summary tab. Follow directions for Restore and be sure to say "yes" to the backup. You will be warned that all data (apps, music, movies, etc.) will be erased but, as the Restore finishes, you will be asked if you wish the contents of the backup to be copied to the iPad/iPod. Again, say "yes."
At the end of the basic Restore, you will be asked if you wish to sync the iPad/iPod. As before, say "yes." Note that that sync selection will disappear and the Restore will end if you do not respond within a reasonable time. If that happens, only the apps that are part of the IOS will appear on your device. Corrective action is simple - choose manual "Sync" from the bottom right of iTunes.
If you're unable to do the Restore, go into Recovery Mode per the instructions here.

Playing videos on Music app.

Since I downloaded upgrade, I cannot see music videos on Music app. I can see them one by one on the Video app, but when I create a playlist in order to shuffle the videos (for when I run), they cannot be seen. I can see them on iTunes and Video app, but not on playlist. I can see them when I click add and done, they come up as if I were deleting them with the red circle next to them. When I click done again (not selecting to delete), the list goes blank and I cannot select them. I might sell my iPod and switch to another player if this is not fixed.

I agree with you G-Daddy. I just bought Alpocolypse and it has several music videos at the end. On my iPhone it will play all of the songs and then play the music videos. Not so on the iPad.
Someone will probably make an App for that, if Apple lets it through.

I just bought an iPhone5
To ensure my old iPhon4 was backed up i...
1. Deleted the iPhone4 backup from iTunes prefs(devices)
2. I then sycnched the iPhone4 to get a new backup of the old Phone.
I then installed my new iPhone5 from the fresh backup of the old iPhone4
This way i got my new iPhone5 exactly as my old iPhone4
Screens all looked the same, EVERYTHING the same.
Some minor adjustments were needed afterwards.

It may have used the YouTube app that is no longer included in iOS. Try downloading the YouTube app in the App Store and see if it works.

Whenever, I have pages open or any other app I press the home button twice, and then I swipe to the right and obtain the menu that allows me to alter brightness or sound. At this point I press play and nothing works. However, once I go back to my youtube page, and press the play button then it works. If anyone could help me that would be greatly appreciated. just click the serial number in itunes ... geeze... just kidding
you might be able to find it on the mac...
in finder do your username under places then library then application support then MobileSync then Backups
the shortest folder name should be the UDID
of course that assumes it ever made a backup...
if it made more than one there will be some -date-blah on the end...

Can't share any videos from the app

There is no way to share a personal video in any app, unless another app let you do that task.

When I open a video from Facebook app in my iPhone 4S, it opens in portrait. But when turned in landscape, the video doesn't turn. In videos app, downloaded videos perfectly turn in landscape mode. Is this a bug in the app or I need to switch on some setup?

I have solved my own problem: After setting up the incoming SSL port in settings, it is necessary to re-start the iPhone. After the re-start, the mail app works correctly using ports 995 and 465, both with SSL enabled.

The only app you specifically mention is meta tube. No way to tell from the description on the app page where they source the material (I suspect primarily YouTube), and no reviews as of yet. You might want to contact the vendor.
If you are getting the same results from established streaming apps, such as YouTube or Jasmine, I would say you have a connection speed issue (keeping the stream from properly buffering). Hard to say.
Try a rest: Simultaneously hold down the Home and On buttons until the iPad shuts down. Ignore the off slider if it appears. Once shut down is complete, if it doesn't restart on it own, turn the iPad back on using the On button. In some cases it also helps to double click the Home button and close all apps from the tray before doing the reset.

I did not read the rather long post. If you wish to reinstall OS X 10.4, use your software install DVD. Backup is essential. To minimize your risk, I would use an archive and install:

In that way, you will have a fresh copy of OS X and your current settings will be preserved.
Incidentally, I do not agree that the printer problem is best solved by reinstalling OS X. I have had HP printers for sometime and, on one occasion, had difficulty after an upgrade. HP technical support walked me through uninstalling all traces of the HP driver and then reinstalling.

Not all videos include caption or subtitle tracks. Check the documentation for the video you are using to see if it includes these features.

Maryrhire910 I am sorry that you are facing difficulty downloading and installing Photoshop Elements 12. Are you downloading the installation files from Download Photoshop Elements products | 13, 12, 11, 10? If so what specific error are you receiving?
