Embedded content height % not working

when I embed url content on a dashboard I can set the width to 100% and the content is whatever size the browser is..
but If I set the height to 100% It only goes down about 10 lines or so..
I have to set it to an actual number..
I have seen IFRAME instructions on the same issue that say you have to also set the height 100% in the DIV before the frame.. but I have no clue how to fix the issue in BI..
the content on the page I am placing in changes and I dont want the user to have two scroll bars to get to the bottom of it.. but I don't really want to set the height to 3000 (which is way down, just in case the page reaches that far..)

Hi Merlin,
the problem is that the height % tells something of the current page, not of the remote page. So I think you need to use some javascript in order to calculate the height of the remote website and create an auto-expanding iframe using the calculated height. Use google to find this kind of script.

Embedded Youtube videos not working on Chrome 23 / Flash player 11.5.31.2

For the past couple of weeks, I've not been able to play any Youtube videos that appear as embedded videos on other websites. The small player appears with the still frame from the video and all the controls, but on pressing play, the video goes blank and won't play (the slider stays stuck at 0:00). Nor does the full screen button work - the player just stays where it is within the third party website. This problem has occurred across more than one website, but all sites still work in Internet Explorer.
The main Youtube site is still working.
I have tried all relevant steps here, to no avail (except increasing memory for a particular website, since not just one website is affected):

Embeded Flash player not working

I have a browser-based app that we are considering porting to
AIR. The basic functionality of the app uses AJAX to pull down a
list of videos to be displayed, then plays the video when it is
selected. The browser-based app uses Quicktime videos, which I have
come to learn won't work in AIR, so I'm trying to switch to a Flash
player.
My problem is that for the life of me, I cannot get AIR to
play the video. I created the player in Flash, and everything works
great there, as well as in any browser I can find. When I load in
AIR, I see the player, but playback never starts. My
application.xml file is very simple:

As you have no doubt already realized, using the Learning
Interaction templates that are available in Flash MX / MX2004 and 8
will not work at all in Presenter content.
The coding methods conflict while playing back within the
Breeze environment and I
think it has to do with the _dropTarget property as part of
the interaction's codebase. The _dropTarget method is NOT supported
in Breeze, but the hitTest() method IS!
I have written a few drag and drop exercises that do work
within Breeze content, and you have to use the hitTest() method to
accomplish it.
As you already have discovered, the bottom line is that the
learning components were intended to be "stand alone" objects that
could be incorporated into a web page (or even a CD as these
objects are nothing more than swf files). Aside from the fact that
the prebuilt/preconfigured learning objects in flash don't always
work in Breeze, in my mind, the bigger question here is the ability
(or more accurately) the inability to connect these SCO's to an LMS
for tracking. As stand alone objects, they're actually pretty
handy...but not in Breeze.
I realize this doesn't help much with what you're trying to
do, but from my perspective, you're better off creating your own
drag n' drops.
I've got a bunch of examples to share if you'd like to take a
look...just send me a PM or email if you're interested.

Embeded Flash component not working

I have createdf a Flash movie using the Drag & Drop
Learning Interactions Component using Flash MX 2004. The
interaction works fine as standalone Flash movie but when embedded
in an Adobe Presenter presentation, the drag works ok but it will
not drop the object. I have had the Breeze control the Flash movie
and also Breeze not control the movie.
Any ideas?

Html embeded in footer not working

I have had a footer with a "counter" and the adobe muse "badge" for over a year. now   the text boxes display, and the facebook counter is OK.   my page "hit" counter no longer works and the adobe muse badge doesn't display.    it looks fine on the design page when I publish the page or even preview it , the former items don't work.
has Adobe done something with embeded HTML code. my goggle calendar is suddenly a mess too!!
I have a separate post about the calendar problem, but now it seems it's is a HTML embed problem site wide.

There are about 10 master pages ( yes a problem I know)
all the top level pages come from one master.
the children pages off each top level have their own master page and a separate copy of the footer, header, and menu bar,
for each master.
the HTML in the footers do not work on any of the pages, so all the footers on all the master pages are not executing.
the Visitors ->MapInfo page shows the header pushed half way off the page. I did delete the google map, as it has some odd error
and added it back again , so I have made a change to that page.

also the google calendar display is broken too and show very odd formatting for display, nothing like the one week default

all the masters are stand alone, except that I applied the "main master" to the Visitors master , and thus the Visitors hierachry.
i tried to attach my website ".muse" file, but it is larger than 25 Mb, so yahoo rejected it.
I saw a note somewhere about sending larger files using some Adobe file tool, so I"ll try to find it.
I don't know what is going on. I do know that all my html code was fine a couple months ago, and now none of it seems to
be executing properly. I have not changed any of the footers.

Web Part with Flash Content is not working in IE only

Hi All,
I have created on Visual WebPart its contain a flash embed object i am trying load this flash component inside the Iframe.
unfortunatly its not working in IE 11 version but its working fine with other browser like Mozila and Chorme.
I referred the other links like but its not helped me to solve this issue. i have tried without iframe alos its not working if its a standalone web page out side the shrepoint working fine.

Hi,
As the custom web part works well in other browsers, the issue may be related to the IE itself.
Have you tried the methods below?
Use compatibility mode to check whether it works.
Open IE->Tools->Compatibility View Settings
Add the site into Trusted sites to check whether it works.
Open the IE->Internet Options->Security->Trusted Sites->add the site into the zone
What’s more, you can also switch the Document mode to IE 10 or lower to check whether it works.

Display Content is Not working in BI 7.4

Hi All,
In BW 7.4, I am trying to display content via Mange Infoprovider. Till 7.3 the data used to show in the BW system itself.
Where as in 7.4 BW system display data redirecting to below URL and it’s calling a webdynpro APP called “rsdmdm_md_maintenance_app” as below URL
http://host:port/sap/bc/webdynpro/sap/rsdmdm_md_maintenance_app?IOBJNM=ZDV_EMPID&sap-language=EN.
Bu this URL giving 500 Internet server error.
Can any one help with what I am missing here? In 7.4 is it possible to display content in BW system itself?

Hi,
Please review following SAP Note. The new behavior (WebDynpro based Master Data maintenance) is now standard since SAP BW 7.4 SP05. Old SAPGui based screen is not possible anymore.
The notes describes the SICF services you need to activate to make it work.
My understanding is that old SAPGui based screen could not handle certain newer data types. As per SAP the new feature has some good benefits such as copy/paster multiple lines from spreadsheet.

It’s not possible to switch to old GUI Based Master data maintenance. Incase
if new master data maintenance is not working please check:
Check if services as described in note 517484 is active
In transaction SICF activate services starting with RSDMDM*
Check if note 1969092 is implemented already.

Save a published Access services database site as a template with contents does not work

I have a Access site on the SharePoint. I wanted the site to be duplicated to another subsite, I then did the usual - save site as a template with contents and made a copy of it, however it does not work. I have been getting the error as stated below
error has occurred during report processing. (rsProcessingAborted)

However, it works if I make a local copy and publish it to the subsite? How does access services work on SharePoint and why the template option can't be chosen.

Embedded OC4J Bindings Not Working

I am having trouble with loading an AppModule using the 10.1.3 OC4J Embedded AS. When try creating an ADF panel binding I get the following error:
     javax.naming.NamingException: Lookup error: javax.naming.AuthenticationException: No such domain/application: "current-workspace-app/current-workspace-app";
However, I can get a working reference to the AppModule using:

RV220W - Content filtering not working (?)

Hello, I bought a router model RV200W fw 1.0.1.0... nice toy.
It all works very well with the exception of content filtering. The rule only works if connections are made with the HTTP protocol, but if the user connects with HTTPS, then the rule is not considered... (???)
f.e.:
http://facebook.com (content filtered)
https://facebook.com (content NOT filtered)...
What the hell ! where I'm wrong ?
Does anyone is experiencing the same ?

Content Server not working after 5.0.2 upgrade

We upgraded the plumtree to 5.0.2. After upgrade, content server portlets not working properly. When I publish my portlet, Interface says it is published, HTML file generated at the published location, but log says
com.plumtree.search.UnknownTypeException: IndexManager.enqueue() : Could not find PTDocMaker for key PTCONTENT
Portlet displays
Error: No Url is available for this portlet. It may not have been published.
Any Idea ?

Hi Ravi, from the Release Notes for Content Server 5.0.2, there's this note "Publish Dialog does not show any error when search index fails but an error "com.plumtree.search.UnknownTypeException: IndexManager.enqueue() : Could not find PTDocMaker for key PTCONTENTTEMPLATE" is recorded in pcs.log. (Issue #27541) "
So you should make sure that the search server is running (just by doing a banner search). Assuming that's fine (it probably is), the likely culprit is an installation problem. Check the Content Server pcs.log file (located in PT_HOME\ptcs\5.0\settings\logs) for any error messages related to search api initialization. This cryptic error you're observing occurs when the search api initialization fails for some reason, the error is not gracefully caught and surfaced to the user. The pcs.log file may give a clue.

Content Assist Not Working

Content Assist does not work for me in Flash Builder 4.5 on Mac OS 10.6. For example, I type a variable definition and get no suggestions for variable. Type.
Content Assist does work if I create a new project and a new class, but even with that it stops working at some point (after a save?).
I've tried restarting FB and running the -clean command.

Thanks for your help, but in preparing a response I figured out files need to be in "src" to have content assist. My project had been imported from a Flash project and the files were at the same level as "src" and not inside "src".

Adobe Premiere Pro CS 5..5 - Content Analysis not working

I am trying to get Adobe Premiere CS 5.5 to analyze an MP3 and provide me the text. I import the MP3, add it to a sequence and then select the "Analyze Content" option which spins off the Adobe Media Encoder (AME). After the file is "encoded" by AME which I have confirmed by having it create a new MP3.
Question: I don't see anything on the metadata window back on Adobe Premiere CS 5.5, do I need to load up the newly created and encoded MP3? I tried that, but that did not work.
Please provide me some pointers.
Also, I am looking to do the same for 40-50 MP3s. I believe I can queue them up in AME and have it encode them all at once?

You can download and install the software. The serial number from the DVD can be used to activate it.

Embedded TTF font not working

Hi everybody.
In the first place, thank you. In the other hand, sorry for all my possible English mistakes.
I have made several ePubs (validated in epubcheck and FlightCrew) with embedded fonts and all of them have always worked fine in ADE 1.7.2.
However, the same ePubs in ADE 1.8. preview are failing. I don`t know why, but the text with the embedded font is not being displayed at all.
What has been changed that I'm missing it?

This problem has been solved in the new preview version.
