Embedded double quotes in a quoted string not working.

It seems that Numbers doesn't process embedded double quotes correctly in a quoted string. Is this an issue that Apple are aware about? Any fixes planned? Is this an issue that Apple are aware about? Any fixes planned?
This is not an issue in Excel, but I'd prefer to use Numbers.

To run Hiroto's script, copy and paste into AppleScript Editor. Click the compile "hammer" to make sure the copy/paste went well. Then (still in AppleScript Editor click the run button. Then, back in Numbers, click once in a cell in an existing table, and paste.
To run the service in the post immediately above Hiroto's, just click the link in my post and doubleclick the downloaded .workflow package. (You may have to go to System Preferences > Privacy & Security and click "Download Anyway"). It then appears automatically in your Numbers > Services menu. Then to run the script just choose the item in the menu item CSV to Tabs on Clipboard.
You can uninstall the Service at any time by holding down the option key while in Finder and from the menu Go > Library > Services.
If you have a chance to try these, would be interested in hearing back whether they worked for you. They are working well on my setup here.

My Left double click is not working on my mouse. I tried using a different mouse to test whether it was a hardware or software issue. I still have the same issue with a different mouse. That is usually a software corruption problem.
Disk Utility ( Repair Disk ) is a good place to start.

Double Click on Keyboard shortcut does not work

I want to change a keyboard shortcut. I have a Norwegian keyboard and the key combination for change active window in an application (multiple mail messages or Word documents) is not available. The Keyboard shortcut is set to ' - on my keyboard the ' character is <. The key combination < does not work unless I change layouts to a US keyboard. Keyboard shortcuts says that a double click on the shortcut will allow me to change the combination. This does not happen. I get an error bing instead. Any ideas of what is going on and how to change a shortcut in Leopard. I think this worked in Tiger. I have tried a hardwired as well as my bluetooth keyboard.

Solved this one - you have to click on the key combination itself and not in the text area that describes the key combination.

Number to fractional string not working correctly

I am measuring some parameters from oscillsocpe. i need to write these values to text file for which i am using write to spreadsheet, but what is happening is it is always writing zero value to file, on debugging i found that while converting from number to string it is always writng zero to string indicator, then separately i used that number to fractional string indicator and it is always showing zero in string output , i dont why it is happening.

number to fractional string is working correctly, there is some other problem, because inly when i am executing this code converting this rise time value to string then only it is showing zero, otherwise for any random number if i am checking this number to fractional string is working correctly.

i dont need to convert it back to string that i am doing only to check why it is showing zero value on converting number to string , because when i was writing to spreadsheet file it was always writing zero value, so when checked that code it was observed that while converting from array of numbers to spreadsheet string it is always writing zero value that's why i am doing it here just to check why it is not converting to string, but your suggestion helped in focussing the string that i am gettong from VISA read, i can use that in last case if i wont be able to find the solution but main problem is that why i am not able to convert it back to string, why it is showing zero because it is because of this only write to spreadsheet is always showing zero value .

NXT Flatten to String Not Working with Clusters and Arrays

Hello,
My name is Joshua and I am from the FIRST Tech Challenge Team 4318, Green Machine. We are trying to write a program that will write to a configuration file and read it back. The idea is that we will be able to write to a config file from our computer that will be read by our autonomous program when it runs. This will define what the autonomous program does.
The easiest way to do this seems to be flattening a data structure to a string, saving it to a file, and then reading back and unflattening it. The issue is that the flatten to string and unflatten from string VIs don't seem to work with arrays and clusters on the NXT. It does work when running on the computer. We've tried arrays, clusters, clusters in arrays and arrays in clusters, none seem to work. Thinking it was something to do with reading the string from a file, we tried bypassing the file functionality, still not working. It does work with basic data types though, such as strings and numbers.
No error is thrown from what we can tell. All you get is a blank data structure out of the unflatten VI.
The program attached is a test program I've been working on to get this functionality to work. It will display the hex content of what is going into the file, coming out of the file, and then the resulting data from the unflatten string, as well as any errors that have been thrown. The data type we are using simulates what we would like to store. There is also a file length in and out counter. The out file is a little larger because the NXT write file VI adds a new line character on to the end (thus the use of the strip white space VI). This character was corrupting even basic data types saved to file.
I would like to know if there is a problem with what we are doing, or if it is simply not possible to flatten arrays on the NXT. Please ask if you have any questions about the code. Thank you in advanced!

EBS Search String not working

I am doing configuration for an EBS implementation in development system. I have configured couple of search strings and 2 of them are not producing desired result. Please have a look.
1. BAI2 file has following information

In one case search string works, but it did not work in above case. Above example produced posting to ZBCH posting rule instead of ZDDR.

495 bai code is assigned to posting rule ZOEF. This BAI code is sent by Citibank in 2 scenarios. For above scenario, I have tried to replace posting rule ZOEF with ZCKO. But it did not work. In above case, system tried to process record using posting rule ZOEF instead of ZCKO.
Can you please tell why system is not able to select desired posting rule for processing ? Appreciate feedback.

FI - BANKING- EBS - ECC 6 Search string not working

Hi SAP Experts,
Recently our client has upgraded from SAP 4.7 to ECC 6.0.
In SAP 4.7 the system used seach string to pad up "00" to check information received in note to payee.
It was working fine in 4.7 but after upgrade the search string functionality stopped working.
We check the relvant OSS notes but could not trace the relvant one.
Did any one come across this issue?
Please post us the solution to this.

Embedded swf fiile in exported .exe movie not working

I have exported a movie as a stand alone .exe file. The movie
has a flash file embedded in it. When it plays on my own computer
it works fine, but when it plays on another computer, it will show
a solid red box for a couple seconds in a couple of different
spots...all within the embedded swf file. Can anyone give me an
idea why this might be occurring? I am thinking it has something to
do with an SWF embedded in an EXE file, but really don't have a
clue!

I'm glad to see I'm not the only one. Only I have large
portions of a very large EXE file delivered in red pages. It is
irregular, too; before I left work yesterday, the entire file
played fine. Reloading and rerunning it this morning, on the same
machine, shows the red pages again. I'm experimenting to see if
it's a loading/buffering problem by letting it cycle through a
couple times, to see if that improves it. If it doesn't however, we
have had better success splitting the file in two. But that
presents it's own problems to link them to run as a single loop.
I'll be very interested in knowing the solution to this, too.
Oooo! I just found a useful reply to the same issue from a
Captivate Consultant. Search under General forums, keyword 'red',
and look for the title 'Screen goes red'. Here's what the solution
reads:
Check:
1) Display time for the animation may need to be adjusted a
tiny amount, or
2) Frame rate for the animation may need to be changed if it
conflicts with the movie frame rate.
It only seems to happen on slides that contain animations
because it is the animation that is causing the problem, so
"tweaking" its settings can usually solve the problem.

Double-click to open file does not work

I have Windows XP, ID 3.0.1. When I either double-click an INDD file or try to open it via Start>Documents, I get a dialog box: InDesign_US_R - InstallShield Wizard, Location to save file, etc. What do I do with that? These files open normally if I open them through ID.

You haven't configured the strings to be "default". Hence, all string elements in your attached vi's are empty.
I have no idea what you try to achieve without those strings....

I am using SSIS package for Import data from excel sheet to SQL DB. In the configuration file I'm using following variables.

After deploy the package file I change the DBName in SqlConnectionString DB_Master to Master but package execute the files in DB_Master.

First see whether you've some other configurations also set inside the package for the same properties? ie direct configuration for connection manager properties.
Secondly see if its executed from a job and you're overriding the values through the job properties.

Substitution strings not working in URLs for web service references (bug?)

We have an environment where the url for our BPEL server is read from a variable. I've created an application item and a corresponding application-level computation. I'm using the ampersand-followed-by-dot (&BPEL_SERVER.) syntax as well as the hashmark syntax (#BPEL_SERVER#) and am unable to get this working.
Is there a way for me to debug web service reference calls other than whether a call was successful? Is this a bug?

Here is the error message I get when I try to use a substitution:
ORA-20001: The webservice was unreachable because either the URL you supplied was invalid, your environment requires a valid proxy server address for HTTP requests, or a wallet needs to be configured for HTTPS requests.

No problem - let me try to lay this out a little differently, perhaps I'm just missing something.
problem:
* we have separate development, test, and production servers for our database and bpel servers.
* The hostnames for these servers are stored in a table of key/value pairs
* This means that (by policy) the hostnames in URLs calling BPEL web services should be the value corresponding to BPEL_SERVER so that the appropriate bpel server is used to call the web service
attempted solution:
1) I created an application item named BPEL_SERVER
2) I have a before-header computation that sets BPEL_SERVER to 'http://bpeldev' using a static value assignment
3) I have a web service reference whose URL is either &BPEL_SERVER./orabpel/default/callNotification/1.0 or #BPEL_SERVER#/orabpel/default/callNotification/1.0
4) The web service reference is called in an after-submit process.
5) An invalid URL exception is thrown for this process.when submitting on the page containing this process
observations:
* for (3) - I can set the URL to http://bpeldev/orabpel/default/callNotification/1.0 and everything occurs successfully
* for (3) - If I use http://bpeldev/&BPEL_SERVER. then when I execute (4), I see a request for the exact string http://bpeldev/&BPEL_SERVER. in bpeldev's access logs
* for (3) - If I use http://bpeldev/#BPEL_SERVER# then when I execute (4), I see a request for the exact string http://bpeldev/#BPEL_SERVER# in bpeldev's access logs
* for (2) I've also used a function call RETURN get_const_value('BPEL_SERVER'); - same results for (5)
* the item value has ben verified before (5)
* for (1) and (2) I've tried defining substitution strings in the application definition instead - same results for (5)

Substitution string not working in interactive report

Hi all,
I am using a substitution string in the no data found message of the interactive report. But instead of the actual message, &my_message. is displayed when there is no data found. I noticed that this problem is also occuring when a substitution string is used in the column headers of the interactive report. In the non-interactive report it is working as it should. Am I doing something wrong or is it a bug?
Hope anybody can help me. Also when you have a workaround for my problem.
