Embedded Links that can't be deleted.

I have several embedded links of an old image added onto my work, however several of the links could not be deleted and are invisible on the artwork. I can select them by using Go to Link but I cannot move them or delete them only resize it.
How can I get rid of this as I don't want to risk it appearing when coming up for print?

Turn off the preview to see where the images are. (You should see rectangles. You should also find them somewhere in the Layers stack)
Check if anything is locked. (Object > Unlock All.)
Check whether layers are locked, if so unlock them.
Select the images (Links panel, click on link and then Go to Link button) and delete them.

If you mean pics that you synced to your iphone form your computer, then delete them the same way. Open itunes, connect iphone, select what you want to be on your iphone, sync.

I've got my iphone 4 on the release date and i love it,
however there is one thing that i hate and what to change, why can't i delete the apps i don't use like
Stocks, Weather, Voice Memos, Compass and the new one Game centre all of these app my be useful to some people however for a student as myself they are pointless and only take up space on my iphone which i could use on music/videos
is there a way to delete these unwanted apps?

the ones you refered are the native apps, and can't be deleted. If however you don't like them you can always put them on the folders that you won't use and move them to the last page.

"Broken" images that can't be deleted

I have a few broken images when I go into the photo application. They appear as a generic strike out "broken" thumbnail. When I try to remove them by selecting them and choose "delete", it first asks me "do you want to delete xxxx.jpg?". After selecting "Yes" I am getting an error message: "General System error". Is there any way to rebuild the index, so the broken thumbnails don't appear anymore?

It just took me the last 3 hours to solve this annoying problem on my N97 so I thought I would share how I fixed it.
I connected the phone on mass storage mode with Windows set to view hidden files. On the images folder, next to the wallpapers, camera, etc. folders, there was one hidden folder containing modified picture file names (like xxxxfile.jpg.xxxx).I guess this is how symbian stores thumbnail data? (?)
I deleted these files without removing the folder altogether and the broken thumbnails on the Photos app on the phone were gone.
This also made some of my non-broken photos disappear from the Photos app even though I could still see them on windows explorer. What I did then was to remove them through windows explorer and copy them again from ovi suite, and violá, my album was fixed.
I don't know what would happen if I remove the folder itself, who knows if that messes up symbian again.

Not open new tab (empty) when clicking on a .pdf link that can't be read in FF (no plug-in for pdf)

When I click on a pdf file that should be able to be open in Firefox (with plug-in), FF open a new empty tab and ask to open or save the file.
I would like that in case of FF not being able to open the pdf file, it skips the "open empty tab" part and directly go to "open/save" part.
Is there a way, server side, to tell FF to do so or is there only only client side solution ?
NB : In case that pdf can be open in FF, or any other browser, it should still be open in the browser and not be asking to "open/save", the point is only the empty tab.

What files can be safely deleted?

I love my 400 MHz TiBook but its 10 GB hard drive is filling up. I have approx. 1.5 GB of free space left. What files that can be safely deleted? Can I delete extraneous printer files, modem files, packages, etc? I use MacJanitor to clean out caches and I don't have any music or photo files that might be causing the bloat. Also, before I delete anything I will back my hard drive up to a FW drive with SuperDuper.

But rather than just nibble away at the contents of your drive, which will only buy you a small amount of time before you're back where you started, you should be thinking about replacing your tiny 10GB hard drive with a larger one. You could easily get a 60GB drive for $50 plus the cost of shipping, and installing a drive in a Tibook is very simple — a 20-minute job at the outside. Then you'd just start up from the external FireWire drive on which you've cloned your 10GB drive, and use SuperDuper to clone its contents onto the new drive. The whole drive swap and data transfer, including the original cloning, could probably be accomplished in less than two hours. Then you wouldn't have to worry about hard drive space for a long time to come.

Quit Safari completely, clear Safari and reboot the iPad.

Nope, it either needs to be plugged in or turned on with the power button.
A replacement iPhone 4 is $149, but at least the whole phone is replaced.

Luckily, for this, i was using a user-decision step which uses DECISION --> PROCESS method. So, I could remove the BO:TRIP that i included earlier. But, for other tasks, where if we use a method from our BO, we cannot remove this std. BO link that shows up in "Objects & Attachments"...to my understanding.

How can I send a ThinkLink image with all the embedded links in Thunderword Email?

As you are aware, ThinkLink images have embedded links (word files, images, videos etc.). I am, however, not able to send these images through Thunderword emails. I have tried both Inset Image and Insert HTML but nothing works. Of course, I can understand that ThinkLink is a new concept and most of the email clients don't support it.

No I am not aware. I have now googled thinklink, joined their site and found that they do not create images. Only Javascript.
So no email client such as Thunderbird, which does not allow javascript, or any person disabling it in their browser for security reasons, will see your interactive images because they are not images they are interactive programs written in Javascript.
Now how to get unsubscribed from these folk, they already tried spamming my whole Google Plusfriends list.

How to create an embedded link with VBScript that references user website from Active Directory?

I have scoured the web for days and have not been able to quite come up with exactly what I need for this. I have created an Outlook signature deployment using VBScript which sets information in an already formatted Word doc using placeholders. (Ex. [Displayname],

All of that works as expected, but now marketing would like to have an embedded link reference some of our users personal web pages. So the link would display some kind of standard text like "Click Here". Once clicked on the user would be redirected
to the personal web page of the person who sent the email. My problem is, I have no idea how to get the hyperlink to pull in the information from Active Directory...another problem is I know only enough coding to be dangerous so I am stuck.
