Embedded Youtube links not working

Following the most recent Firefox update, embedded videos on forums aren't allowing me to view the YT page via the redirect links.
Here's screenshot detailing the redirects that aren't working.

Embedded Youtube videos not working on Chrome 23 / Flash player 11.5.31.2

For the past couple of weeks, I've not been able to play any Youtube videos that appear as embedded videos on other websites. The small player appears with the still frame from the video and all the controls, but on pressing play, the video goes blank and won't play (the slider stays stuck at 0:00). Nor does the full screen button work - the player just stays where it is within the third party website. This problem has occurred across more than one website, but all sites still work in Internet Explorer.
The main Youtube site is still working.
I have tried all relevant steps here, to no avail (except increasing memory for a particular website, since not just one website is affected):

I installed the newest version of Chrome, and the videos I have

Embedded YouTube videos not working

Embedded YouTube videos used to work fine up until a few days ago but they have stopped working in all browsers. I use Safari, Firefox and Netscape Navigator.
I am using Mac OS X (10.6.3) and have just conducted a software update and installed a fresh version of flash. This can't be a browser problem because it is not working on any of the browsers. I am having problems viewing embedded YouTube videos on such sights as Blip.fm, Facebook, etc but they used to work fine a couple of weeks ago.
Is this a problem with flash? or Mac OS X?

Another me too. In particular the symptoms are this:
+ any YouTube video embedded within a webpage loads the poster frame and the controls, but after clicking the play button only shows the progress indicator briefly before showing "An error occurred, please try again later." within the video frame.
+ the same YouTube videos play fine on the YouTube site.
+ other Internet video plays fine, embedded or not.
+ when the error occurs Safari reports "One error in opening the page. For more information, choose Window > Activity".
+ the Activity window shows "forbidden" for http://v13.lscache4.c.youtube.com/videoplayback?ip=0.0.0.0&sparams=id%2Cexpire%2 Cip%2Cipbits%2Citag%2Calgorithm%2Cburst%2Cfactor%2Coc%3AU0dWSVhMVV9FSkNNNl9QRllH &fexp=900028&algorithm=throttle-factor&itag=34&ipbits=0&burst=40&sver=3&expire=1 274817600&key=yt1&signature=C15947474FA80C9A1B9DA597103C5FF7D621A478.0C1490DE456 5D519F602B0043A4E1F9D800417A0&factor=1.25&id=c3e8886e8b459334

I have tested the following:
+ the same computer worked fine a week or so ago
+ other computers on the same shared ADSL connection work fine
+ Firefox works fine (contrary to other's experiences)
+ deleting com.apple.Safari.plist doesn't help
+ disabling/enabling the "Enable Plug-ins" preference doesn't help
+ deleting Preferences/Macromedia folder doesn't help
+ reinstalling Flash doesn't help
+ empty cache doesn't help
Tis quite perplexing.

Youtube links not working in iauthor ibook with iOS 7

I have created a book in iAuthor with several youtube hyperlinks and other assorted links. When I export to preview on an ipad with iOS 6 and ibooks 3.1.1 all links work. When I export the preview to an ipad with iOS7 and ibooks 3.1.1 the youtube links do not work. All other links work. HELP!

Preview is not reliable. Check whether you still have the problem if you export your book to the .ibooks format and transfer the file to your iPad and open it in iBooks there.

Embedded Youtube videos not working in Chrome or Firefox?

I have embedded some YouTube videos into Lightbox widgets and they play fine on IE and Safari but not on Chrome or Firefox. The poster of video shows but you can't click on it. Didn't know if Java Script was required but have it enabled on all Browsers.

You can also try Right clicking on the added HTML code>Arrange>Bring to Front and see if it resolves your issue.

APPLE TV YOUTUBE IS NOT WORKING MANY POST BUT NO SUPPORT FROM APPLE STAFF

In this forum and in many forums I have read posts regarding YouTube is not working.
In my situation I have updated to the latest version of apple tv (2.3). My Leopard is up to date / itunes also.
I am sharing internet connection in imac using Airport. Eveything works but YouTube does not work.
I can log in with my YouTube username (this shows it can successfully connects and gets reponse from the server), BUT I can not view featured/most viewed etc. I only see spinning apple thing.
I have been useing apple tv for 3 days and firts date YouTube worked. Also yesterday I did restart atv with menu + - for 6 seconds and relogged in to itunes and youtube worked again. I watched the whole night. I did also made some testing like rebooting atv again / turning of internet sharing and so on, magically it was working. I did get a good night sleep and in the morning when I tried again boom YouTube was broken again.
My only request from apple tv tech guys to admit there is a problem with YouTube in Apple TV so we can stop trying to make it work.

Today I figured out something, I was looged in to You Tube Account from apple tv. I clicked on History (on Youtube/History) and I could view the movies. When I click on one it start stream and downloads it. So there is no connection issue due to my hardware router etc. The only places I get the spinning wheel is when I try to use Youtube/Feature/Most Viewed/Top Rated/Search
There is definitively connection to the server but why I can't navigate the above links mentioned.
I would really appreciate any suggestions it does not matter if you know a fix or not but each feedback would help me solve this issue.

Hi, well I've been on the forum for about 15 minutes and been logged off about 4 times!!
From the site I linked to previously:
The 64-bit version of the Safari browser includes a feature called a "compatibility layer" (a process that runs 32-bit plug-ins in the 64-bit application) so you can install Flash Player in a 64-bit Safari Web browser.
This was how you were able to use your 64bit browsers, it was actually using the 32bit browser.
Square isn't ready to be used, websites do not support betas as far as I know.
If this Forum is ever fixed, we'll see what can be done.
Sorry, but I don't have 2-3 hours to spend trying to post 2-3 messages. Not your fault, it's just the way it is.

Problem with embedded youtube links

This is happening on my ipad and iphone after installing 7.0.2; when I click on an embedded youtube link it throws me to the home screen. I've deleted youtube app, no good. Reinstalled it, no good. Tried using various different browsers, no good. Any ideas?

Yeah, even though you made things "invisible" they are still there. Go back and make the template "uninvisible". Then just highlight and delete the captions.
A simpler, more automatic way of making your gallery page is detailed in this .Mac blog entry. I'm not sure if you want to redo everything, though...

This way, you don't have to make and position all those transparencies, etc..... especially since you are positioning your most recent galleries up top.... you'll have to move all the transparent shapes and hyperlinks when you add a new gallery.

Apple tv youtube is not working

I have just bought apple tv 3rd gen but youtube is not working at all and on the screen it shows to try later.
Have tried to restore all settiings as per original one but nothing to do.

Try doing this. Go to Settings>General>Date and Time and make sure that you have checked Set Automatically>On. because sometimes it dosnt work if the date and time is wrong. Hope it works.

Adobe Edge links not working

Yeah I have also experienced links not working when I import my .oam file from Adobe Edge Animate also. Is there anything the Muse team is doing to fix this issue? I need a response from you guys by the end of the week. my company website is malfunctioning due to issues with your software. If there is some sort of hotfix please let us know.

When you install the software illegally, using a volume license, there is a script you can run that will enter all of the adobe servers into your local DNS hosts file so the software can be activated. This makes accessing those domains impossible. This scenario fits the description of your issue, not suggesting anything beyond that.
The hosts file is in /private/etc/hosts and can be accessed through the terminal:
sudo nano /private/etc/hosts
If you see a bunch of adobe servers in there, that is your problem.

I do not know if it's relevant or not, but I got a message on my ipad while on safari saying that my iPhone has a virus. I looked it up and it seems it might have just been an ad from the website I was on, but it happened around the same time YouTube stopped working.

You will find that using the YouTube app will provide a better viewing experience for YouTube videos.

According to your description, my understanding is that the add new document link was not working on machine where Office web apps set up with this SharePoint server after you upgraded SharePoint team sites
from 2010 to 2013.
For your issue, it can be caused by integrating Office Web Apps with upgraded SharePoint Site.
Firstly please make sure claims-based authentication is used by the SharePoint web application that is used to create the new document. Only web applications that use claims-based authentication can open
files in Office Web Apps. To determine the authentication provider for a web application, follow these steps:
1.In SharePoint 2013 Central Administration, click Manage web applications.
2.Select the web application that you want to check, and click Authentication Providers on the ribbon.
The authentication provider must be displayed as Claims Based Authentication for Office Web Apps to work correctly with the web application. To resolve this issue, you can delete the web application and recreate
it using claims-based authentication, or you can change the authentication method of the web application.
Secondly, make sure the WOPI zones match on the SharePoint 2013 and the Office Web Apps Server farm.
To do this, run the following command on the SharePoint Server:
Get-SPWopiZone
The result will be one of the following:.
internal-https
internal-http
external-https
external-http
Next, run the following command on the SharePoint Server.
Get-SPWOPIBinding
In the output, look for WopiZone: zone. If the results from Get-SPWopiZone don’t match the zone that is returned by Get-SPWOPIBinding, run the Set-SPWOPIZone -Zone cmdlet on the SharePoint Server to change
the WOPI zone to match the result from Get-SPWOPIBinding.
If not work, you can try to disconnect SharePoint 2013 from Office Web Apps Server and re-configure Office Web Apps for SharePoint 2013.
