Embedding Iweb page into Craigslist using mobile me link?

I would like to embed an iweb page or and ad creating in Pages into a craigslist post. How can I do this so it looks like a nicely formatted webpage in my craigslist posting?

It just occurred to me that because I have a MacBook for work and a MacBookPro for home, I am using two different OS. My MacBook is still running on Leopard, but my personal computer has Snow Leopard. The blog issue is appearing no matter which computer I'm publishing from. And as of right now, iWeb is not freezing like it was earlier this evening. But what's really curious is that after publishing from both OS, the blog issue remains the same and so does the error reading. I wish that I could attach the snapshot I took from both computers. If anyone is interested in seeing the errors from the snapshot, I'd be glad to email them to you.
On another note, when I copied my domain file (from my laptop with Snow Leopard) to my iDisk to transfer to my laptop with Leopard, it wouldn't open at all. This is another new issue for me as I haven't had problems with this in the past.
So, Snow Leopard appears to have a bug, but even with using Leopard, I am still experiencing the same errors with the blog.
I just wanted to throw that out there because I really need my website up and running for the first day of school with my students next Thursday. =/

Embedding HTML page into Flex using Adobe AIR

This is Siva Kumar. Need help in embedding an HTML in Flex .
We are using Adobe Air. To embed an HTML in Flex we used
<mx:HTML> tag. Its working fine but whts the problem is its
not allowing to download files / attachements. I tried to use
google flex iframes to resolve this issue. I am able to download
files/attachments if I open application as web / standalone. If I
try to open same application using adobe air its giving error like
" ExternalInterface is not available in this container.

Later wht I found is at present ExternalInterface is not
supporting adobe air.
Could anybody help me to resolve this issue. If anybody has

looks like your equipmentArray is empty. Put a breakpoint inside that method to see if there is any data.

Copy iweb page into google apps

Is it possible to publish a web page created in iweb into my website which is within google apps.

Determine the width and height in pixels of your iWeb page.
Divide by 72 to get the width and height in inches,
To get centimeters, multiply the number in inches by 2,54.
Create a custom page size in Page setup in Pages (Or any application).
Use the numbers in inches or in centimeters.
Add a blank page in Pages.
Choose the newly created pagesize.
Set the zooming of Pages to 100%.
You now have a identical page size.
Then copy paste all objects from iWeb to Pages.
I do the reverse. I create a webpage in Pages and then copy/paste everything to iWeb.

Connecting iweb page to domain using transmit

Ok, can someone explain this to me step by step. I just just don't get it.
I created a page on iweb, and then "published to folder"
I bought a domain and hosting with "godaddy", and the I just bought transmit.
How do I connect the page I created (using iweb) to my domain name (using transmit)? by the way, I also have .mac.
Any help would be strongly appreciated.

In case you have tried "Publish to .Mac" already and want to know how to forward from Godaddy, here are the step by step directions...
1. Go to GoDaddy.com and login to your account.
2. Click under "Domains" and select "My Domain Names"
3. On the next page check the box next to your domain
name and then click on "Forward Domains"
4. On the right hand window, type in your iWeb
address, like http://web.mac.com/yourname
5. Don't worry about the other options for now.
6. Scroll to the bottom and click on "Save changes"
That's it! It might take a little while for GoDaddy
to update everything, but from then on anyone who
types your www.domain.com will be forwarded to your
iWeb pages.

Any way to turn an iWeb page into a Pages page?

I'm just finishing up an iWeb site and want to send the basic layout and images to a friend via a Pages project file. He doesn't know iWeb (and doesn't want to), but he is familiar with Pages.
Is there any way to convert an iWeb document to a Pages document, or even just one page? Everything is in 'pixels' in iWeb, and Pages doesn't seem to have a 'pixels' function. Otherwise I'd just create a similar background in Pages and copy everything over. Don't want to have to figure out conversions of pixels to inches, points, or picas.

HT1349 What do I do with iWeb if I cannot use mobile me?

I'm not sure what to do, if I want to publish to iWeb how do I do it if I cannot use Mobile Me....I cannot get my iWeb to go to my iCloud.

You might want to check out newmobileme.net. This is the information site for a new web hosting site created especially to host iWeb web sites called NewMobileMe. You can publish your site to NewMobileMe using iWeb whether or not you have a domain name. If you host your iWeb site on NewMobileMe, in iWeb just use the "Publish to FTP" rather than "Publish to MobileMe" option. Details on how to do this are at www.newmobileme.net/questions.html.

Is it possible to pull a variable from an embedded html5 page into captivate [6.0]?

So. I'm attempting to replicate the functionality of the drag-and-drop quiz question widget in an html5 elearn. A colleague of mine who is a jquery whiz was able to create the drag-and-drop questions as html pages, and I used this third-party widget to embed them in my elearn. There's a variable in the html that tests whether the answer has been dropped in the right box, and I'm hoping to use a button to evaluate this and add (or not) the result to the quiz score. Is this possible? I've discovered that there's this handy library, but I have no idea how to go about using it. Can anyone give me any pointers as to doing this, or let me kow if I'm attempting to do the impossible?
I've also heard that drag and drop is natively html compliant in Captivate 6.1, but is a Creative Cloud license the only solution available to someone with little programming experience?

The other thing is, last I checked, Infosemantics's widgets aren't supported in html5 exports, which is where this whole dilemma comes from.
Also,
not in the Creative Cloud, but only available to subscription users (or ASA) not to boxed license users. Captivate is not part of the Creative cloud

I'm unable to access my yahoo email account using updated firefox browser, i keep getting error page when I use the mail link on yahoo pages

Since updating Firefox browser, i am unable to gain access to my yahoo email account. I can access the email with Interent Explorer with no trouble. Whenever I click on a mail link on the yahoo sites to check my mail, I get rerouted to an error page ..... "Sorry, we can't find "ca.mg4.mail.yahoo.com/dc/launch?.gx=1". Please check the spelling of the web address." is what is said at top of page whenever I click on any mail links.

This is how I fixed it on my new iPhone 5S. Using the standard yahoo setting on my phone.
You will have to access "managing your app passwords" on your account profile for yahoo. Generate password for your app. For example: "My iPhone 5S'
Go to your Iphone and set up your yahoo mail account on your phone the normal way and you have to use the generated password. instead of the yahoo account password.

Video on an iWeb page

Hi, I know how easy it is to drag and drop a video onto an iWeb page. I believe it uses QuickTime as the player. Is there a way to get a broader reach with the video though? For example, Mac users will have Quicktime so they would be able to see the video on the site by default. But what about those users on *that other OS* who don't have QuickTime. Is there a way to have the video use the default player (or maybe even embed a player into the site itself) such that site visitors won't have to download a plug-in or anything, which might turn them off right off the bat?

Any video format requires a browser plug-in be used to display it.
Flash Media requires Flash Player. Windows Media formats require Windows Media Player. Real Player formats require Real Player and QuickTime formats require QuickTime Player.
iWeb writes page code to use QuickTime. It's installed on all Macs and has been downloaded a half a billion times by PC users. It's bundled with iTunes for PC.
You could make more than one version of your file and hand edit the iWeb page code to include them or "link to file" so they could download the file.
Probably not worth the trouble once you investigate.

How to link rollover buttons to iWeb pages?

I've made my roll over buttons, their all ready and set up but I can't link them to my other iweb pages. Can anyone tell me how to do this? I tried publishing the site and setting it to link to url.com/blah (example!) but that doesn't work, it says the page doesn't exist.

There are two types of links you can use for linking pages of a website - relative and absolute.
When you choose "Link to: One of my pages" in the Link inspector this creates a relative link.
When you choose to link to an external page you need to enter the full URL to the published page into the box in the Link inspector. Example...
http://www.domain-name.com/site-name/page-name.html

Is it possible to intermingle an iWeb page within an exisiting website without creating problems and messing up my exisitng site? Or do I need to add some other way?
I imagine I could uploadt via FTP (to my server's public_html folder???) and use Contribute to link the iWeb page(s) to my exisitng site...
If all this is possible would someone give me the steps?

Yes, this is possible. You just do this with links in your existing site.

That's right, you can upload your iWeb site folder to your server's public_html folder...just be able to describe the site folder in a URL...
If all this is possible would someone give me the

1. Publish iWeb site using "Publish to Folder" onto your desktop. You will see a folder containing two things: an "index.html" file and the actual site folder.
2. Upload this site folder to your server using your FTP program. Put it wherever you are instructed to upload HTML files. Upload just the site folder (one of the two items resulting from iWeb's Publish to Folder command).
3. Test out your iWeb site by accessing it from the URL that it should be accessible from your server... this will be the URL that you must provide links to in your existing site.
4. Edit your existing site to provide links to the new iWeb pages...using contribute or whatever you usually use. Link to your iWeb site using the URL you discovered in Step 3.

I need for someone to answer the question on whether you can embed opt-in webforms into iweb pages and if so how do you get the code into the iweb code so it shows up on the page. Im using Aweber and need to put their opt-in form on my iweb page.

How to publish an iCal calendar into an iWeb page?

I want to include an iCal calendar in an iWeb page. I know this should be VERY straightforward but can't figure it out. How do I accomplish this?

I'm having a problem getting the iCal to publish to iWeb, so that I can have a calendar on my website with rss feed for new dates. So I put in my mobile me account name, and I do have several calendars, but there's nothing that looks like I can specify which calendar. Please don't tell me that I have to use one calendar, because I don't want my personal with my court, my court with my work, my work with my kids etc. is there a way to maintain the "public" calendar. I'm confused.
Assuming this is doable, I did try the widget, but i keep getting an error message that page not found, we're sorry but we cannot find the ical you requested, its possible that it has been deleted or renamed.

To download your pages from MobileMe simply mount your iDisk.
Then navigate to the Web > Sites folder where the pages are.
You can't do anything with them however, since iWeb cannot import them. But it's nice to know that you can download them.
You need the domain.sites2 files, iWeb uses to store its assets. Perhaps you have a backup?
