Embeded Flash files stop loading part way through after update to 10.2

Hello, I am currently having an issue with Flash. After the last update to 10.2, flash files, both audio and video, stop loading part way through them and do not start up again. For instance, on youtube, about 2 minutes worth of video will load but load slowly and then stop completely. The only way to get it to advance is to click past the section that has loaded and it will load the next 2 minutes. On Myspace Music, a song plays about 40 seconds each time and stops completely and will not load anymore, even if I try to skip to another part of the song. I am running Windows 7 Ultimate 64bit edition with Firefox 4.0 Beta 12 64 bit edition as well. Also I have tried clearing my cache, cookings, temp files, removing and installing Flash countless times, including older versions, as well as tried Google Chrome and IE. All give me the exact same issue no matter what I do. It is really frustrating because I cannot watch or listen to anything embeded in Flash online without having to keep clicking the next section every little bit. If anyone can help, please do and I thank you.

Hi, Since your OS is a 64bit, are you using the 32bit browser for IE? I see you have the FF beta. Have they come out with a 64bit browser? I don't follow the FF beta so if that's true, it's news to me.

Rich forms stop loading half way through

Hi, I have already posted this in the getting started forum
but it didn't get any response, thought I might try here too to see
if anyone here can help.
I am having a few problems with my testing server (CF 7.02
developer version) that I am hoping someone can shed some light on
for me. I am having two issues which may be related, one
(Administrator) is not really a problem for me, but as they may be
related I thought I'd mention both. I'm sure when I get them sorted
out the solution will be obvious, but right now I just seem to have
a mental block on where I should be looking to resolve it.
The machine is running Apache on Windows Xp, the webroot is
localhost/public/
Basic cf pages are running fine (all images etc appear as
expected), but when I go to view administrator using the link under
programs (Start button) it looks for it at
localhost/CFIDE/administrator/index.cfm and gives a "file not
found" error. If I add /public/ to the address administrator opens
but all images are broken (the images are being looked for at
localhost/CFIDE/administrator instead of
localhost/public/CFIDE/administrator). As I said, this isn't really
a big deal, but may be a symptom of the problem that is causing my
other issue.
I am starting to play with Rich forms, and while the files I
have created work on the production server at our host, I had not
been able to get them working on my testing server (just gave me a
blank space instead of the form). I managed to improve the
situation this morning by changing CFAdministrators 'Default CFFORM
ScriptSrc Directory' setting from /CFIDE/scripts/ to
/public/CFIDE/scripts/. Unfortunately, that wasn't the whole
problem though as now my rich forms start to load but never seem to
complete that process. The timer icon remains on the cursor
indefinately and some parts of the form (stuff within cfitem tags,
as well as any data in datagrids coming from queries) does not
appear. Actual form fields/buttons etc do appear though. The fact
that the timer stays there and the progress of loading the flash
form seems to stop suggests to me that it is looking for something
that it can't find, and therefore may be related to the path
problems I seem to have.
So it seems when I installed CF I didn't tell it where to
look for web files correctly. As I said, I'm sure I should know
this, but can't for the life of me think of where I should be able
to tell cf where the web root is. I am hoping when I do all of my
rich form problems will dissapear (as well as allowing me to see
the CF Adminstrator pages in all their glory with images instead of
boxes with broken icons).
Any help or advice would be appreciated.

It sounds to me like you have downloaded a song from iTunes but when you try to listen to that song it just stops playing. I suggest you delete that song from iTunes and re-download it fresh. The following article explains the issue it sounds like you are experiencing.

Unless it has recently changed you can only watch rentals on the device or mac you rent them on.

Try following the steps below and check if that may help:
- Open the HP software by clicking the HP Envy 5530 icon within the Desktop or the Start Menu, then click the Printer Home Page (EWS) link.
- Click the Network tab.
- Depending on your printer model click on Networking and then on Network Address (IP) or click on IPv4 within the active network connection type.
- Click on Manual IP , and then click Suggest a Manual IP Address . A manual IP address, Subnet Mask, and Default Gateway displays.
*Be sure to take a note of the IP address and Confirm the changes, then close the EWS page.
- Click the HP Envy 5530 icon within the Desktop or the Start Menu and click the Utilities tab, then click on Update IP Address.
- Type the manually configured IP address, click on Save and confirm.
- Open the control panel and go to Devices and Printers.
- Right click the HP Envy 5530 icon and select Printer Properties.
- Open the Ports tab.
- Click the Add Port button, select Standard TCP/IP and click on New Port.
- Follow the steps by typing the manually configured IP address and confirm the changes.
Now try printing and check if the issue been resolved.

HT1583 sound stops part way through on burned idvd, but ok on computer edit.

Can anyone help, for the first time having a problem with a burned idvd which the sound stops part way through. If sound turned right up on TV muffled sound
is there. Edited on computer and all works fine with full sound right the way through, only trouble is on the disc. Have tried many discs, so does not appear to
be disc failure.

Photoshop CC 2014: HDR pro trying to merge 3 pictures part way through process stops.

HDR pro gets part way through the process then stops as if nothing is open and I can carry on working in PS as if nothing processing. Have closed and opened again and shut down and restarted computer, also waited for a long time but still nothing happens.

I copied that .jsx file to a new name "Xbytor Image Processor Pro.jsx" edit that file changed the string Dr Browns services to "Xbytor Image Processor Pro" then commented out all the code that added tools menu items but "Image Processor Pro" and I put that file into
"C:\Program Files (x86)\Common Files\Adobe\Startup Scripts CC\Adobe Bridge" even though Bridge CC is 64Bit seems to use theat location.
Bridge CC was updated by the creative clouds update and opens Photoshop CC 2014 now

I've just downloaded Sophos (yesterday) and commenced the scan. It keeps stopping part way through, the 2nd time when it was about 98% completed after 4 hours!!!! I've had to start again. What could be causing this? I have Mountain Lion.

Go to this link to download the installer and this link to determine which version you have installed. Always get extensions like this from the publisher (in this case Adobe) and not from some website that says you need an extension and offers to install it for you since you may end up with malware instead.
BTW, once the current version of Flash is installed, you can set its preferences to update automatically in the background.

Audio disappears part way through avi file

I have imported an avi file into a new CC project.
Video stream:
Codec: DV Video (dvsd)
Resolution: 720x576
Frame Rate: 25
Decoded format: Planar 4:2:0 YUV
Audio Stream
Codec: PCM S16 LE (araw)
Channels: Stereo
Sample rate: 48000 Hz
Bits per sample: 16
PC is running Windows 8.1 and is running CC 7.2.2 (33)
The file itself runs for 43 minutes and is 5.4 Gb in size
When editing the file 25 minutes in the audio disappears completely and is gone for the rest of the clip.
I have checked the file in VLC and the audio is present throughout the file.
I used Avidemux 2.6 to split off from the main file about 10 minutes of data where there was no audio within Premiere.
I imported that new file into Premiere and the audio is present in the new file.
I can therefore use that but don't know what is wrong with the original file.

I have read the source patching article and watched the video too. Very interesting and an impressive function.
I did also look at the Audio Conforming link a lot of which I didn't understand; I think though I did try what was suggested regarding XMP stuff although it did not make any difference with the file I had the issue with.
My problem is that the audio just stops part way through the clip.
I have reduxed into a new file all the audio/video from the original file from just before the audio disappeared and that seems to work OK. Perhaps there is an issue with my original file.
It doesn't help that I have a brand new PC and this is the very first video I have edited in Premiere CC as I had previously been using CS4 and even then I haven't used that for a while.
Anyway, thank you for your help and I will see how I get on.

that doesn't make sense. you will only be prompted for earlier adobe versions when installing a latter upgrade version.
double check your versions.

Yes, in theory re-converting would lessen the quality further. However, I have heard people claim (unsubstantiated) that if you are encoding with the same encoder at the same bit rate, then since it will use the same algorthymn, it won't really change the file. I have absolutely no idea if that is true or not.
But... I figure some slight loss in quality re-encoding is still better quality than a song that only plays half way and then stops, right? I suppose you could always tag those files in the comment section with something like "Re-Encoded" and then later if you gain access to your old CDs, you can then make a Smart Playlist to gather those songs and then re-rip them again from your CDs.

Captivate 8 - Animated text stops part way through play

I have created a presentation with CAP8 and am finding the animated text does not play out in full, but stops part way through.
eg. animation to type [email protected] and then on a new line same text box [email protected]
slide preview it runs perfectly. In the preview next five slides and in publication it runs all of [email protected] and then freezes after typing johnbe
It actually stops the video it seems, as i can hit play to resume, which will then type out the rr, and will complete the email on a third time hitting play.
I get the same thing on the next slide with two of the three text animations that are running simultaneously, and again on the next slide. I want to point out that this is not just on one slide.
I have changed settings on the properties from " rest of slide" to "Duration of animation", and there is no change. I have lengthened the slide timing just in case that makes a difference, even though I am using Shape buttons to progress to the next slide. No change.
Any suggestions please?

How do I continue a migration from iPhoto to Photos that was interrupted part way through?

I began a VERY large migration (40k+ photos) from iPhoto (v9.6.1) to Photos on an external hard drive. I have a MacBook Pro with Yosemite 10.10.3 that is connected to a network that has a Synology network drive. The iPhoto library is on that drive and I was wanting to create the Photos library also on the drive.
The process was very slow and has taken days, but that is expected and it was definitely making progress (I could see the files being added over time). Unfortunately, the transfer was interrupted part way through (my kid closed my laptop, which disconnected it from the network). I tried to start it over with the partially created Photos library folder as the destination, hoping that it would pick up where it left off. It worked until it reached the same files that were previously created. The migration stopped at that point, and the following error appeared: "Photos was unable to make a copy of your library before preparing it. There were file system or hardware issues…” I assume the inability to overwrite previous files with the same names was the case of the "file system or hardware issues."
Is there any way to either continue the migration from where I left off, or maybe even manually move the rest of the files over? Or do I have to wipe out the entire partially migrated Photos library and start over?

And I suspect that you are incorrect - as far as I know NO NAS is formatted Mac OS extended - A NAS is basically a Linux computer with no display or keyboard that uses a Linux format drive - a headless computer
Unless you have a directly connected drive correctly formatted you are cgoing to continue to have issues - your photos and your choice what risk you put them at but you are treading in very dangerous water with you set up - is it documented not to work and similar set ups have been reported here hundreds of times as causing major problems and losing lots of stuff
