Embeded video gives error whilst navigating

I get the following error in Safari : Error #2044: Unhandled
IOErrorEvent:. text=Error #2036: Load Never Completed.
when I click off the page that has the video embedded on it.
never seen that?

Could also be due to a) an image that is just simply too large for your sequence and has thrown the error (happens a lot, usually with still images, and jpgs are the worst) or b) you've inadvertently got a blank spot on your timeline with no video or images on it... if it hits a blank spot, it'll always fail.

  • Why with Firefox 4 fast download of a flv video gives error whilst with IE it is possible but very long

If I download a flv video I get a message saying fast downloading is not possible and asking to eliminate the file from the list of downloadable files. If I do so: message of error! With IE the announced size of the same size of video (1 hr)the size announced is 2 Gygab..the time taken is 4 or 5 hours and the final size of the file is about 200 Megab. 3 months ago announced and final size 200 Mb and time 20 min.

I have had a similar problem with my system. I just recently (within a week of this post) built a brand new desktop. I installed Windows 7 64-bit Home and had a clean install, no problems. Using IE downloaded an anti-virus program, and then, because it was the latest version, downloaded and installed Firefox 4.0. As I began to search the internet for other programs to install after about maybe 10-15 minutes my computer crashes. Blank screen (yet monitor was still receiving a signal from computer) and completely frozen (couldn't even change the caps and num lock on keyboard). I thought I perhaps forgot to reboot after an update so I did a manual reboot and it started up fine.
When ever I got on the internet (still using firefox) it would crash after anywhere between 5-15 minutes. Since I've had good experience with FF in the past I thought it must be either the drivers or a hardware problem. So in-between crashes I updated all the drivers. Still had the same problem. Took the computer to a friend who knows more about computers than I do, made sure all the drivers were updated, same problem. We thought that it might be a hardware problem (bad video card, chipset, overheating issues, etc.), but after my friend played around with my computer for a day he found that when he didn't start FF at all it worked fine, even after watching a movie, or going through a playlist on Youtube.
At the time of this posting I'm going to try to uninstall FF 4.0 and download and install FF 3.6.16 which is currently on my laptop and works like a dream. Hopefully that will do the trick, because I love using FF and would hate to have to switch to another browser. Hopefully Mozilla will work out the kinks with FF 4 so I can continue to use it.
I apologize for the lengthy post. Any feedback would be appreciated, but is not necessary. I will try and post back after I try FF 3.16.6.

  • All Youtube videos give error message when trying to play

I've had this problem for a little over a week now. All YouTube videos, whether they are embedded on another site or on YouTube itself, do not play. Instead, I get an error message that says "An error occurred. Please try again later." Videos from other sites that are not in whatever format YouTube videos are in still work (such as Hulu, Dailymotion, and others).
Another thing that doesn't work on YouTube is when I click on my username in the top right hand corner to see a drop-down list of my playlists. The drop-down menu that appears just says "Loading..." and never loads. I have tried to follow YouTube's instructions, but I have done everything they've recommended.
I have tried reinstalling/updating Adobe Flashplayer, Adobe Reader (not that it matters), turning off my McAfee firewall, and even reinstalling Firefox 6.0.2.
I should also note that on Internet Explorer I am experiencing no problems with YouTube at all, but I really don't like Internet Explorer.

  • Starting embedded OC4J gives error XML-20108: Start of rootelement expected

    Product JDeveloper 10.1.2.0.0 (Build 1811)
Up until recently I never got any errors when I started the embedded OC4J-server.
Now I get the above error.
It looks as if JDeveloper tries to access server.xml twice. The first process is updating the server.xml, and when the OC4J-server is starting up, it also tries to access server.xml, which is empty at that time (being updated by the other process).
    How can I solve this?

That's a JavaScript error, not a Java error. The two are
    totally unrelated.
It sounds as though you have a corrupt data cache. Try the

  • Playing mp4 audio gives error message "Video can't be played because the file is corrupt"

Playing a particular mp4 audio file directly from a website link gives error message "Video can't be played because the file is corrupt". However other mp4 audio files from this same website do work correctly. What can I do to get all the the mp4 audio files to play directly from the same website? I must have the correct plugins, etc. since the other files play. This file is not playing from YouTube, is it on the website.
    Thank you for your help.

What is the link to the site and file in question?
MP4 files should be handled by Firefox itself, not a plug-in.
    # Click the ≡ Menu Button and choose Add-ons.
    # Click Plugins.
    # Set every plug-in to "Never Activate".
    # Try loading the file again. Is there any difference?
You have two versions of Flash Player installed. Perform a clean installation of Flash Player as follows.

Since the last update my i tunes wont launch it just give error message Error 7 (Windows error 127) how do i fix it please?

Like many others I have been reading about online I am having the same error.  I tried the fix listed above and simply wasted 30 minutes of my time. I scheduled a time for Apple to call and help me through this and their solution was for me to call Microsoft for some reason?!!  iTunes made me upgrade then stopped working - I really don't see how this is a Microsoft problem??
Like Darren if a solution is not found quickly I will also have to sell my phone as the only way to get videos and music on my phone is through the software that you made me upgrade, broke and won't help me fix.

  • Embedding video, works on my computers but not theirs, why?

I have made a flyer that has an embedded video clip using Acrobat Pro 9 Extended.  It opens and plays ok on Professional Extended and Reader on one computer, also opens ok on Professional (non extended) and Reader on another computer.  I emailed the file to my client and he only has Reader.  He tried it on his computer and some other computers with Reader and said he gets an error (see below) which comes up when he opens it and doesnt even show the PDF at all.  He said he upgraded his Readers to the current version and still gets the error.  What else could be causing this?

it only charge if itunes is installed on the computer

  • Embedded videos do not appear in 6.0

I installed Safari 6.0 into Lion (I haven't yet quite got the courage to leap to 10.8) and am unhappy to find that embedded videos, YouTube / Flash at least, simply no longer appear.  There's only a big empty unresponsive space where they should be (no outline, no box, no indication that there is anything present, just vertical displacement of text).
The videos appear and play fine in YouTube itself, and they're still fine in Firefox.  I'm running the latest version of Flash and do not have ClickToFlash or any other Flash-blocking plug-in installed.
    Thoughts?

Helpful troubleshooting tip!  Disable extensions and see if anything changes.  I traced the problem to a new extension called "Google Disconnect", which is intended to keep Google from seeing you at other websites.  I suppose if I think through it hard enough I can see how that might block YouTube (aka Google) videos when presented off-site.
Can I give myself points for answering my own question?
(The answer appears to be yes!)

  • Embedded video not playing in exported podcast of a recorded presentation

I have embedded video (.mov) in my Keynote '08 presentation which plays fine in the presentation and in Quicktime standalone too. But when I'm recording the presentation with the audio voice-over, the embedded video does not appear in the podcast. When I click on "play" presenentation from within Keynote, it DOES play fine. It just doesn't show up in the podcast.
Is it possible to have embedded video in a recorded presentation that's exported as a podcast?

I tried your suggestion. I record the presentation. Save it and then attempt to export it to IDVD. It works all the way till it gets to the end of the first embedded movie. I then get an error message that says my file is corrupt or I am out of memory.
The computer is 2 weeks old so I do not think memory is an issue. The file plays perfectly in Keynote.
    Any suggestions??

  • Embedded videos do not play on Explorer?

I have a site on a staging server located at http://www.wwwlan.com/CLT_11.
It's a site for martial art videos. I'm using the CS3 version of Dreamweaver.
I have embedded videos from Youtube and they work perfectly in Firefox, Netscape, Opera, Safari, but not Explorer.
When the pages were opened, I got prompts from dreamweaver to add a patch for Explorer and clicked OK.
Was this a mistake. What am I missing?

  • Some questions on controlling embedded video

I am preparing a brochure with lots of embedded videos. I have found that Acrobat does embedded video very well and reliably. The videos are large in physical size so they are enabled from a small thumbnail and run in a window. The documents I have done in the past have had only one clip on a page and I set the clip to disable when the current page is not visible. Some videos are over one minute so if the reader moves on to another page while the clip is running the clip window disappears.
The brochure requires several video clips per page, so I need to make it easy for the user to dismiss a clip window they are finished with. No matter what window settings I use for the clip the windows close button (top right) is miniscule, and I am concerned reader either won’t notice it or find it hard to use. The “Disable when” options in the Edit Video dialog box are very limited, ideally I want a disable when user clicks anywhere outside the clip window, as this isn’t possible I am looking for an alternative. I have considered the following but it looks like none of these are possible or practical:
Dedicated “Close Video” button- there appears to be no command available to user buttons to do this.
Place all clips on their own dedicated page and when the user clicks the “clip icon” it navigates to the video clip page which as a “return’ button which navigates back. This would only work reliably if the user is forced to use the documents page navigation and prevented from using acrobat’s page navigation. Even if you switch off display of acrobat’s navigation buttons it still responds to keyboard arrows.
    Any suggestions?
Also when I embed the clip I draw a small rectangle and use “retrieve poster from media” sometimes it puts a small “Play’ icon on the poster and sometimes it doesn’t, its not clear to me how to control this.
    Many thanks
    Murray

Unfortunately there's always a delay as a Rich Media annot (de)activates, in part due to Acrobat/Reader being a 32-bit application. Rich Media is stored in the PDF file as compressed data, so every time it opens Acrobat/Reader has to churn through a heap of memory-intensive operations to prepare it for handoff to Flash Player. On deactivation, there's a similar amount of reorganization to clear things up. Not a whole lot you can do about it, sorry. Things should improve in future versions.
In terms of the highlight effect when you click a button, that's probably the default "invert" style which all buttons get. You can chage it to an outline instead (on the Options tab of the button's properties) but you can't make the inversion effect any more distinct. If you want to do something like making the click effect turn the button face pure yellow, then change the button's type to "push", also on the Options tab, and load a yellow bitmap or PDF image as the icon of the "down" state. Getting the icon to scale properly is controlled by the Advanced button on the Options tab - choose "non-proportional" and "always scale" to make it fill the rectangle. Of course you can put icons in the other states too if you want, but they'll hide the video thumbnail.

  • Premiere Pro stops rendering and gives error message when encounters "RGB Color Corrector"

Premiere Pro (and also Encore) stops rendering and gives error message when it encounters a clip containing the "RGB Color Corrector" in any clip.  It will process clips without RGBCC, but will stop when it gets to one with RGBCC activavted.  PP will render clips if other effects, such as "Fast Color Corrector", "Color Balance (HLS)", and "Three-Way Color Corrector" are selected. However, these do not have the capabilities that The other color correctors will not do what RGB color corrector does, so I need to have this working to finish a large product that is due to the client.  Please help me..... I am not using the Creative Cloud version, and can't find either a download for the new update from 2013, or a phone number to talk to anyone.

Using a Win7 computer with 2.8 quad core processor, 24 gig of ram, Nvidia Quadro 5000 video card.  Don't think I have any plugins.  I looked at one a while back for cleaning up grainy video, but I am not sure I paid for that.  Think I deleted it.
Incidentally, someone named Jim on another part of the forum mentioned that this problem has been fixed in the CC version of the program.  I am using the non-CC version because I am 68 years old and only do seminars and documentation video.  Don't need so many bells and whistles, and definitely don't need learning curves every few weeks.  CS6.0.3 works fine for me.  By the way, someone else said that maybe version 6.0.1 might work better and I should revert to that.  Not sure if it is the version i have on the disk upgrade to 5.5 that I purchased in December.
As it stands now, I have 7.5 hours of a seminar that is ready to go out the door.  If there is an upgrade I can get from Adobe, maybe you can tell me about it. If I have a setting incorrect in the video output format, maybe I can change that.  So far it just happens with clips in my video that have RGB color correction.
