Embeding images from the foto album
Hi
I uploaded several gif-images in a teaming foto-album folder and tried to embed them in a landing page layout. I don't like to attach them becouse the html-code should be usable in other teaming locations to.
So I tried to paste the permalink to the image (i used the peramlink of the image not the teaming site of the image) in the src-attribute of the img tag, but the browser could not display the image properly.
When i downloaded the image i got a unredable 4kb gif file.
Is it possible to embed images without attaching them from a source in teaming and if so how does it work?

How do I reorganize my photos on iPad 2? I need to move (not copy) photos from one album to another. When I use the copy function to another album, and then try to delete an image from the original album, the system wants to delete the photos from all albums. Please help.
You can't do it directly on the iPad - the new album functionality basically only allows you to copy photos into those new albums, you can't move them. The way that I think of it as working is that you are just creating pointers to the photos in those new albums, so if you then delete the original photo on the iPad you therefore automatically delete all the pointers to it.
If you want to re-organise your albums then you will need to do it on your computer and then sync those albums over to the iPad -
When someone other than myself downloads an image from my web album, a dynamically generated file name replaces the original file name. How I can prevent the file name being changed during this downloading process?

Here are my steps.
1. I upload multiple image (jpg) files onto my photo album.
2. I select the "sharing" by email option for this album.
3. I enter the recipient's email address.
4. The recipient receives my message and clicks on the link.
5. The recipient accesses my photo album and clicks on one of the images.
6. The image opens up to its own screen.
7. The recipient selects the "download" and then save file option.
Here is the part I do not understand. For some reason, during this "download" process, the original name which I have given to the file is replaced by different name. So I was hoping that someone knows how to prevent the file name from being changed during the "download and save" process.

When the first 3 images were pasted... i want a new page to be automatically created and the next or 4th image will be pasted on the

Hi, I'd like to display a dynamic image from the web inside a JLabel or any other swing component it could work in. I've been looking on the Swing tutorials and others forums, all I can have is that a JLabel can load an Icon object, defined by an image URL, but can this URL be like "http://xxxxx/image.jpg" somehow or can it only be a local image URL?>
I do not know why you start talking about an image on the web then go on to show concerns about whether it will work for a 'local' URL.
But perhaps this answer will cover the possibilities.
So long as you can from an URL to the image, and the bytes are available for download (e.g. some web sites wrap a direct call to an image in HTML that embeds the image), the URL based icon constructors will successfully load it.
It does not matter if that URL points to
- a web site,
- a local server ('localhost'),
- an URL representation of a File on the local file system, or
- it is inside a Jar file that is on the application's run-time classpath.
How you go about forming a valid URL to a 'local resources' (or indeed what you regard as local resources) is another matter, depending on the form of the project, and how the resources are stored (see list above).
Probably the main reason that examples use images at a hard coded URL on the net is that it makes an 'image example' self contained. As soon as we compile and run it, we can see the result. I have posted a few examples like that on these forums.

Can't copy an image from a smart album to normal album
I created a few smart albums that just show images from October, November, etc. Now I'm trying to pull a few images from each of those albums into a regular (not-smart) album (it will be of highlighted images, one from each month).
When I drag the image across, the plus sign is there, and it looks like it works, but when I click on the regular album, it's empty.
The only way I can find to extract an image from a smart album to a regular album is to choose the image and select "new album from selection", but that won't work as I intend to pull many images into a single regular album.Nah, tried that. I have the new album set to "Show All" and no other filters.
I would appreciate it if someone else tried this and could say if they can reproduce it.

Embedded Image from different anonymous web application broken
Hi,
I have two web applications, one is NTLM and another will be NTLM & anonymous.
User uploaded images into anonymous web application and embedded the images in a post (custom html box) from NTLM web application.
When user try to load the images from the post, image link is broken. After refresh the page, some of the images are loaded and some are not. The image are being loaded randomly.
I am suspecting on TMG redirection to different web application but i have no further information for that.
From Sharepoint log, i have the following:

According to the symptom that issue occurs intermittently, I suspect it is related to coding of web control you added for images. Please provide more information about how you embedded the image in a post.

That can be scripted you need to be able to provide the images URL for the script ie copy paste in a url its even posible to load all image on aweb page into a layer stack in a new document. Go for it. The following scripts do download a temp files into your temp space but these are deleted once the image is placed into the photoshop document. So there is no image file is on your system images only exist in the open Photoshop Document.

I have an 11" Air with lots of remaining capacity running Mountain Lion. I also have a digital point-and-shoot camera. I have never downloaded images from the camera to this Air. However, if I just connect the camera to the Air's USB port, with the camera's available cable, and the Air is open, will a program like ImageCapture or iPhoto, auomatically come up, and I can begin to download wanted images? Or, will this sort of connection delete or fry everything on the Air? Do I need any other software on board? Will current Apple onboard programs allow me to download images from my camera and not destroy everything else?

How can i fix this problem with songs from the same album, not being organized under the same when they are from the same CD?
Thank you... just read up on iTunes Match. That stinks, paying a yearly thing... but I understand everyone has to make a dollar. I think I'm better off just picking the best songs out of my collection storing them on my computer or iPhone then selling my CD's to some used CD place. If I ever really want to hear a song there are multiple options and if I want it... the .99 to 1.29 option is always there.

When mirroring, is it possible to get the image from the ipad to fill the screen on the TV instead of appearing as a screen within a screen?
Welcome to the Apple Community.
No, the iPad has an aspect ratio of 4:3, a TV has an aspect ratio of 16:9, to fit one into the other is impossible without distorting the picture. If your TV has a zoom feature, you may be able to use this to fill the screen a little more to your liking, but this will result in cropping top and bottom. -
How can I get an image from the screen? Like screen printer in PC to pasting after in word or other program.
If you do Cmd+Shift+3 you'll get a full screen image saved to your desktop as a jpg file.
Also, you can use Cmd+Shift+4 and you'll get a cursor which you click+drag to draw a box. When you release the drag the boxed in area will be saved to the Desktop as a jpg file. -

The online editing works fine, changing text and swapping pictures is no problem.
Adding new content from your own computer works as well
But how is it possible for my client to delete some images from the gallery on the site using the in-browser editing?
Or for that matter add extra images to the gallery on the site?

It does accept a transparent png file, even better it does not even have the shadow effects the rest of the images have in the thumbnail container.
So it is practically invisible if it was not for the cursor changing in a pointer hand
So up to this point I was really excited. But when I tried the in-browser editing of this "invisible" thumbnail, it recognised the thumbnail but it would not let the thumbnail be edited.
Weird part though was that I could click the "invisible" thumbnail and edit the enlarged picture, but the thumbnail would still be invisible
What do you think, can you think up a workaround for that?

How to view tagged images from the camera in Lightroom?
How do I see a tagged image from the camera (tagged using the lock button, to remind me of a image I want to find quickly) once imported into Lightroom? This is possible to do in Photomechanic, as I can see all of the tagged images from the camera once opened in Photomechanic. Yet so far I have not found a way to allow me to do this in Lightroom so far. Any solutions welcome please.
There isn't a way to do it that is part of Lightroom. There is a plug-in that might help you, though. Check it out here: Locktastic
It doesn't say if its compatible with LR4, but you can try it to find out.
Plug-ins aren't usually as efficient as built-in functionality (like PM), but it might be a solution for you. -
JAVA, sqlserver - Need to load an image from the sql server database

I need to load an image from the sql server database using java. I have connected to the database and getting all other records except the records for a photo (datatype = LONGVARBINARY) and Remarks (datatype = LONGVARCHAR).
I am using java and sql server db. The photo and remarks are stored in the db. and i need to show the image and the remarks fetching them from there.
I get the error :

No. You are using Microsoft SQL server if I have to believe your initial post. A quick google tells me that the dialect class to use is:

Need help returning (not printing) avg GPA from array??
Here's what I have so far. After returning the value then I gotta print the avg in a separate method. I also need to check the names of the first and last student using an "equals" method. Please someone help with whatever you can. Here's what I got:
