EMERGENCY PLEASE ANYONE I REALLLLY NEED HELP
I HAVE ACCIDENTALLY ERASED ALL MY APPLICATIONS, does anyone know a way for me to restore. I trashed them and I accidentally emptied trash. Is there any way to restore these apps. If not where can I get Ichat and IDVD and all the programs that come with the computer. Do they come on any of the cd's the computer comes with? Please I need some urgent help, I have never felt so helpless. Is there anyhting I can do?
Do an Archive and Install:
How to Perform an Archive and Install
1. Be sure to use Disk Utility first to repair the disk before performing the Archive and Install.
Repairing the Hard Drive and Permissions
Boot from your OS X Installer disc. After the installer loads select your language and click on the Continue button. When the menu bar appears select Disk Utility from the Installer menu (Utilities menu for Tiger.) After DU loads select your hard drive entry (mfgr.'s ID and drive size) from the the left side list. In the DU status area you will see an entry for the S.M.A.R.T. status of the hard drive. If it does not say "Verified" then the hard drive is failing or failed. (SMART status is not reported on external Firewire or USB drives.) If the drive is "Verified" then select your OS X volume from the list on the left (sub-entry below the drive entry,) click on the First Aid tab, then click on the Repair Disk button. If DU reports any errors that have been fixed, then re-run Repair Disk until no errors are reported. If no errors are reported, then quit DU and return to the installer.
If DU reports errors it cannot fix, then you will need Disk Warrior (4.0 for Tiger) and/or TechTool Pro (4.5.2 for Tiger) to repair the drive. If you don't have either of them or if neither of them can fix the drive, then you will need to reformat the drive and reinstall OS X.
2. Do not proceed with an Archive and Install if DU reports errors it cannot fix. In that case use Disk Warrior and/or TechTool Pro to repair the hard drive. If neither can repair the drive, then you will have to erase the drive and reinstall from scratch.
3. Boot from your OS X Installer disc. After the installer loads select your language and click on the Continue button. When you reach the screen to select a destination drive click once on the destination drive then click on the Option button. Select the Archive and Install option. You have an option to preserve users and network preferences. Only select this option if you are sure you have no corrupted files in your user accounts. Otherwise leave this option unchecked. Click on the OK button and continue with the OS X Installation.
4. Upon completion of the Archive and Install you will have a Previous System Folder in the root directory. You should retain the PSF until you are sure you do not need to manually transfer any items from the PSF to your newly installed system.
5. After moving any items you want to keep from the PSF you should delete it. You can back it up if you prefer, but you must delete it from the hard drive.
6. You can now download a Combo Updater directly from Apple's download site to update your new system to the desired version as well as install any security or other updates. You can also do this using Software Update.

I am sorry to hear that you lost your iPad Air 2. You will only see the last location if it has been off for less than 24 hours. Anything longer than that, it will not show up using the Find My feature. Take a look at the article below for more information.

Multi point question...please answer i really need help!
Ok two questions. Has anyone had the problem with the nano (4gig) where the top 1/4-1/3 of the screen has backlight but no color? .literally...I cant see if my nano has charge, see the time or if it is playing or paused. Well the music plays and it views the rest of the screen. the other part of my episode is that the nano is in mint condition aside from the regular scratches and blemishes the nano was expected to recieve. Will Apple warranty my nano? I have no reciept..and i bought it the day after they came out...in texas..and it has been "incase" kept since the "incases" came out. Oh Please tell me they will warranty my nano i really want my screen back!!! PLEASE REPLY!!!

i noticed this behaviour once or twice...
in my case, it was that the Artists' names were related to single tracks. or single albums...
for example, i had only 1 album for an artist in question, so instead of getting the expected "album list" from a click on the artist, i got the listing of songs on the single album i had loaded for them.
check your tags for the artists in question... a lot of downloaded MP3s, etc, are rather "dirty" . you may find spaces after the name. Multiple listings for the artist where case (upper/lower) are incosistant... for example... if you have tracks taged with artist "Twisted sister" AND others with "Twisted Sister" you may very well have this issue.
one tool to use when trying to see if this is the case is to use the BROWSE function in itunes. Click that then scroll thru the list of artists in the center column. See if you have some duplicates in there.

Please guys, I really need help
My computer won't log in. I enter the password, it says "logging in" and the blue and white bar is frozen. I'm then unable to click back or log in, and my mouse turns into the little pinwheel. I have no clue how to fix this!!
put in the install disk. Startup holding down the c key. When the installer appears, you'll see a menu bar at the top. Run the various repair options - repair permissions, etc. Then restart and see what happens.
If that doesn't work and you don't have another mac around, then reinstall using archive & install option.
And please don't post the same problem 3x. It's annoying. -

i have a small doubt in setting the size of the panel...i.e...code as follows..

and an image(has specified size) is dispalayed inside the object panel ..
so im not able to set the size of the object Panel..i used setSize() and setPreferedSize() methods but im getting the height and width as zero if i try to print the size by using the getHeight() and getWidth() methods..

I'm trying to hide Body Page 1 of my form - but somehow I'm not able to make this happen. I'm facing this problem for a couple days now and have tried several things unsuccessfully.

This makes Body Page 1 hidden, but the master page 1 is still visible. What wrong am I doing? Please ...I need help with this.

Well it all started with Aperture 3 trying to import some photos from my iphone.It took ages to import those photos and like I was in a hurry to finish my work in Illustrator so I tryied to force quit on A3 and it didn´t, so I shut down the computer and started over.it was all ok but I uninstalled the A3 and the I realized the icons were back to original form and a few fonts changed.so I Installed the trial version of A3.I did a restart of the system and then there was.aperture lauching but no dock and a 80% of the icons disappeared, but the names of the files and folder remained.and I cand acces the apps from the apple sign on the left corner.I tried also restarting a few time but it´s always the same.I am a recent user of a mac , and please excuse my bad english.If this is in any way useful please help me!

New to code, need help please!!!
I have been designing my first website by following a string of videos I have purchased online. (Timothy Training w/ Framework Files) I am finally to the point that I am ready to 'put' these file on my business catalyst account and get them online. I have run into an issue however. I have a page called services.html and within it I have built a 'featured content slider' that links to several pages. The code was working perfectly in any browser that I previewed it in, live view, inspections, everything was fine!! Until, I 'put' the files onto my business catalyst account, now all of the sudden the code does not display correctly anymore. I have made no changes to the code what-so-ever, no changes to the style sheets, nothing. I had a tech support guy that took a 'quick look' and said that my outer div was all of the sudden in the wrong place. I dont understand how 1. it shifted when I made no changes, 2. It works perfectly fine when I view it outside of BC platform and 3. how to even begin to fix the issue. I have spent hours upon hours trying to remedy this myself and I am finally at a breaking point and quite desperate for help. I have so many hours into this site and I am quite frustrated that I made it this far only for it to fail. Please anyone that is willing to take a look I would be grateful. I am not sure if I should post the code in here or not as this is my first post in the forum. I guess I will try to copy and paste and see if that works. Any suggestions would be great help..
