Emet 5.1 had DEP activity and closed Office 2003 applications and won't allow Internet Explorer to open in Windows 8 desktop version
I can't find any answer to why EMET 5.1 blocks Internet Explorer from running in Windows 8 Desktop version. Initially Google Chrome wouldn't work either but after uninstalling EMET 5.1 and reinstalling it Chrome now works. Also it prevents Microsoft
Office 2003 Word, Excel, Access, Outlook and Publisher from running. It says DEP mitigation and closing application. I also get the error that Microsoft Office Access or other applications has stopped working and they only work under safe mode.
How do you get these applications to work in EMET 5.1? Do I need to get rid of EMET 5.1? Or are there other solutions.

Does opening and closing 3rd party applications with the click of the home button actually close the application, or, does it continue running in the back ground ?
I noticed most of the 3rd party application don't have a close/exit option, and wonder if opening and closing several applications with the home button can cause the many crashes I have read from fellow iPhone owners ?Clicking the Home button may close the application depending on the application itself. Some applications that use the network may close when going to the Home screen. To force quit any application, hold the Home button down for about 6 seconds until the Home screen comes up.

I just tried to update my iPhone 4 and it said it was successful, but now I have a message (USB icon - arrow- iTunes icon) that is frozen? I have turned off the phone, unplugged USB and reconnected and closed out of iTunes and back in. Any suggestions?

Hey,
if you know the name(s) of the root folder(s) you want to access (eg. by making a note on the Windows side) then you can make them appear by just doing Shift-Command-G in Finder ("Go to Folder…"), and entering the full path to the required folders. You can then navigate all the contents as normal.

I have a 15" MacBook Pro 2.4 GHz Intel Core 2 Duo (Early 2008) running OSX Lion 10.7.5.
I want to erase the Hard Drive, install Mountain Lion, and manually restore select applications and files.
Is there a known procedure to do this? Any tips or feedback?1. Make a backup, open App Store and purchase Mountain Lion. When its download finishes, close the installer and open Lion Diskmaker to create a bootable USB drive with Mountain Lion.
2. Press Option key while your Mac is starting, select the external drive and open Disk Utility.
3. Select Macintosh HD in the sidebar and erase the drive.
4. Close the window and install Mountain Lion -

Office requies a MS serial number, not your Apple ID. Are you attempting to install the Office 360 pay as you go version?

i rented a movie from the itunes store in hd and closed itunes on accident after letting it download and after reopening itunes i am un able find my movie rental. ive searched in my library, movies, etc. and i cannot find it anywhere. i did start it... but i have atleast another 20 hours to watch it before the rental expires.
Doublechecking. Did you download the rental in iTunes for Mac, iTunes for Windows, or an iOS device?

I just finished a keynote presentation and saved and closed it. Now it just won't open. Message : Can't open document «Not a valid keynote document»
I recreated a new one. And it does the same. Impossible to reopen any of my keynote presentations.

Keynote '09 version 5.0.5 with MAC OS 10.6.7Have the same issue. Use the same version and OS. I get sometimes the message 'Could not save the document. No such file or directory. What happens is that the file is corrupted and not usable anymore.... Sorry i can not help, but this is a serious error and we get crazy here since we have several stations with the same problem....

Potential Bug with LabVIEW 2009, Report Generation Toolkit, and MS Office 2003
We have discovered an issue with the above listed software. Specifically this pertains to Print Report.vi in the Report Gen palette. Basically, we have discovered that with Office 2003 installed the VI will error out. We've been using it in an executable, and the executable physically fails (and asks us to report an error to Microsoft). With Office 2007 we don't have a problem. We've tried building the examples into executables, and those work because they are printing HTML reports.
Also, we have converted back to LabVIEW 8.6 and rebuilt the executable and installed and it works perfectly. Its on the combination of LabVIEW 2009 and Office 2003 that seems to fail.yeah, we had seen that, and been told about it by another user. we tried, to no avail. we still have ended up having to migrate back to 8.6.1 to get the executable to run properly.

I am using report generation toolkit 1.1 with Labview 7.0 and Office 2003 professional. The create new report VI opens Excel but throws error (-2147167262- from automation open VI) when I try to open MS word. please help...

Does this error occur if you use any of the example programs that come shipped with LabVIEW? I would try opening one of the examples that write data to Word and see if those give you an error. Also, have you tried just putting down a New Report.VI and change the report type to Word? If this simple vi (that's all you need to open Word) breaks, I would check to see if there are any instances of Word still open. Check the task manager to see if any word processes are still open. There should not be a problem accessing Word 2003 from LabVIEW 7.0. If neither of these solutions work, please give some more detail about your application and we can research further. Thanks!

When I am in craigslist and want to respond to an ad, I click on the email address and it was sending me to outlook express. Then I went into internet options and change the email client to yahoo, and now it send me to yahoo mail ,which is where I want to go. But it is sending me through Internet Explorer, and not Foxfire. What is going on and how do I fix this? I have Foxfire 6.0.

When require to fill my name and particulars to an application form or document, thr AutoFill box appears and when directing to auto fill, the message box turns blue and refuses to auto bill. I went to AutoFill in Safari preference but could not find any adjustment to correct the shortcoming. Your assisance is appreciated.

On the Internet Explorer I set up my Explorer to open to my Yahoo Mail account and a separate tab for Bing. Both open when I launch Explorer automatically.
