Employee reporting Structure

Hi experts,
In my current client we have a requirement for employee reporting structure.
The requirement is one person reporting to maltipal supervisors. is it posible in standard SAP. or if i go for development how it will work how it has to be developed.
please guide me on this.

Yes, there are ways to do this, but the solution will depend on the outcome you need. You can for example have more than one relationship A012 for your OU (I don't like this one, but I've seen it working). You can use other types os relationships between position and position, I've done that in a customer with relationship B/A 004 and it worked. I've already seen new relationships created in PD in order to represent different types of structure, you can create as many as you want via customize. Everything will depend on the type of structure you want to build. Please be more specific, maybe I can help more.

Hi Experts,
I have a very common requirement in SAP HCM ABAP development.
For an Org Unit, how do we get all Reporting Org units(Also employees reporting to the sub org unit) & Employees ?
I have tried using RH_STRUC_GET_MULTIPLE_ROOTS and RHPH_STRUCTURE_READ, but the evaluation path is insufficient to get all objects under it. I tried with both O-S-P and O-O-S-P evaluation paths and as per some constraints, I can’t create a customized evaluation path for a reason.
I am using PNPCE database for user selection screen and user would be advising the Org unit. I even referred the standard transaction ‘S_AHR_61016495’ which is using PCH logical database.
I would really appreciate if anyone could provide a solution for this. (Rewards guranteed )

Although I could not respond in time, thank you so much for your prompt reply.
I had used the same RHPH_STRUCTURE_READ and passed the appropriate values to it, but it did not populate the required results. I cross checked the results manually, may be some relations issue. But later I tried using RH_STRUC_GET_MULTIPLE_ROOTS and it worked fine.
Meanwhile I had done a workaround with PCH and RH_STRUC_GET and it served the purpose of getting all the Org units, it’s reporting sub-org-units, positions and persons (The deepest structure from the root org unit advised on selection screen).
The solution I used is, I captured the org-units advised on selection screen by user using PCH logical database and then by looping on sub-org units reporting to the main org-unit I populated related positions and persons holding them and assigned it to the PNPCE logical database.

Reporting structure of Company

Hi Experts,
Our company is jointly based on 2 companies,My team (i.e. 5 subordinates belongs to company 1 and the Boss (ultimate authority belongs to company 2).
In my company the criterea for creating Reporting Structure is such that 5 people(subordinates) report to Boss of my Dept.
His employee code is not created in SAP whereas Empcodes of 5 subordinates is created in SAP.
Can we create a work around for thid ?
how to create such reporting structure od such Organization in SAP ?

Hi Goodafternoon !!
Create a new Department as Management Dept and create a dummy position of all the dept head with 0% where you can view all Management team reporting to one CEO .
Note once you create new position two position will be seen in your org structure with same employee name but one dept will be with 0% and other dept will be with 100% active.
This is as per my idea so experts excuse if am wrong.

MSS reporting structure

I have a question.
I have worked on MSS with the organizational structure where the employee repoerts to the cheif supervisor of the organization. In the 'employee info iview' there we have two option to view directly reporting employee and all employees.
But my question is does this iview also carry the same data and options when we use the reporting structure that is position reporting to a position, or do we need to build a iview for that.I know this is pretty easy to fond ouy but currently am not having acces to system to.
I mean that the underlying function module that is called, does return data irrespective of the type of reporting structure and then we have this displayed.

do you mean to say that if i am able to configure and get the same in the MDT the same will apear in MSS am i right. Can you also guide me about how to configure the same in MDT. i mean the eval paths. My requirment is this. There is no cheif supervsior psotion for the org unit. Assume i have org1 in which there is the following reporting structure. i have psotion POS1 that reports to POS2 that reports to POS3 that reports to POS4. When POS4 logs in he hould be able to see POS3 in the directly reporting employees and POS3 POS2 POS1 in all employees option. and POS3 shpuld see POS2 and POS1 fo r the directly reporting and POS2 for the imediatly reporting employees.

Flexible employee report - too many employees in output

Hi,
We are running on ECC 6. while running flexible employee report (t-code S_AHR_61016362 ) using the organizational structure button on selection screen too many employees are getting selected.
When I select a single org.unit and not the underlying ones, the employees from underlying org.units are also being displayed in the output.
I tried searching for an SAP note but invain. Appreciate your help.

perhaps you could use S_AHR_61016533 instead. There you coudl change the
Evaluation Path to select the persons.

Appraisal reporting structure issue

Hi ,
We have three level of reporting structure.Appraisee u2013 Appraiser u2013 High level manager. Our problem is that some employee has first level manager, does not have 2nd level manager. We have to remove high level manager. This employee has one manager for
both the levels
That manger has to do both the level appraisal
The normal process(three level structure) is working but if i remove high level manager from part appraisal column for this process it is not working
Please suggest how does it possible

Is there any way to create the reporting structure without implementing OM(other than using ESS/MSS). If YES.Kindly let me know.

Without how you from relationships.
In PA you can create only postion persons where link the relationship?
Without creating relationship how can you query them?

SAP Standard "Sales Employee" Report

Dear Gurus,
All my standard reports are ok, but when I am running the sales employee report, it maintain in the order and the invoice. System cant show the result against specific sales employee.
Although if I run the same report with out assign the sale employee on the selection screen it through the data, and still in the drill down cant shows the sales employee wise breakup. MC-Q is the tcode.

Hi,
If you want to view sales employe analysis then first you check how values should updated in LIS for sales employee.
Go to OMO1 double click on info-structure S006 - Sales employee
Then click on day and synchronous updating-1 so values will update daily and you can able to view it immediately
OR
Alternatively you can view report on basis of sales employee through some around the work
VA05for sales order and VF05 for Invoice where under partner function maintain your Sales employe partn. function and execute.
Where as in VA05N enter Partner Functions Responsible and Personnel Number Responsible and execute report.

I am a certified Fresher in SAP i am doing practices with IDES
I created an org unit and its sub units and created positions also ..i want to connect the positions of the parent node and subnode in reporting structure
O   head unit
          S CEO
          S GM
      I
      I O Unit 1
             S Manager Unit 1
      I
      I O Unit 2
             S Manager Unit 2
I want to connect the GM with Manager Unit1 and Manager Unit 2 in reporting structure
Please tell me steps to do this

If you want Manager unit1 and Manager Unit 2 to report to GM then go to PO13 Select the Manager Unit1 and create relationship infotype with A002 relationship in the related Object type choose S (Position) and in the object id choose GM.
Similarly do it for the Manager Unit2

Can anyone please answer me for the following scenario??
I have 3 org. units O1, O2 and O3.
In O1, there is a position like S1 (CEO).
In O2, there is a position like S2 (MD)
In O3, there are positions like S3 (Sr. Mgr), S4 (Jr. Mgr) and S5 (Executive).
S3 should be reported to S1.
My question is, is it possible in simple maintenanace method??

Hi,
For both the reports, on the report output, click on the dropdown by the print button. Youu2019ll see 4 options u2013 select print preview of entire hierarchy. This will take you to the print preview screen. On that screen, follow System>List>Save>Local File.

Hi,
1. Goto Tcode PO13 Object Type Position and give the object ID eg GM position.
2. Click on relationship Infotype and create. With Realtionship B002(is line supervisor of) and give the underlined position number. If you want to make that the GM reports to some other position then Relationship will be A002.
3.Now Suppose if you want to create the reporting structure of GM position, click on GM Position and Goto Edit --> Elevate --? Withing Org Unit. A pop will appear with all the postion now you check the check box of the positions whom you want to report to GM and save.

Hope this helps.
1. I had to pass 002 (Reports (line) to ) Instead of 008 to RELAT to get all those positions reporting to manager position fould in step1. Is this correct?
Ans : 002 Relation is the Reporting Relation and 008 is Holder Relationship.
002 will help you to identify the relation ie, which position reports to which position. but if you want to know who is holding the position, you will need 008 relation.
In your case both relation may be required.
2. Does your steps work in any system? I mean, no matter how the data is set up in HRP1001?
Ans : This is the standard System behavior. Unless there is specific changes.
3. Can you also let me know how to start deriving this at company code level? I also have company code termed as Line of Business on my selection. User may enter only company code and i will have to extract everything.
Ans : If you have setup account assignmnet setting for the OU, then you should be able to do that.
