Employee responsible no longer as user

Hello,
Recently we upgraded to a new support pack in our CRM 7.01 system.
Since then we have 2 issues:
1. In the Agent Inbox the assigned to me query no longer works - all the tickets assigned to a certain employee responsible are not found
2. confirmation and orders show the error:
Business partner XXX(user) is not a business partner.
--> the user name is no longer recognized as a business partner.
I think these 2 issues could be related as the user is no longer recognized as link to the BP
All our users have the role employee and are linked in the identification tab with their user and employee id (HR integration).
This all worked fine before the support pack
Anyone who is recognizing this issue? And could help?
Thanks!
Marjolein

Hello Hari,
The first issue we have for all users who are employee.
Also the second issue looks like it happens for everyone.
Before the support pack, the user ID was always displayed as the name of the business partner, now the business partner number is displayed.
Also we have a mobile scenario which automatically creates the service confirmations, there the userID is still populated, but with the error that the USERID is not a business partner.

  • Change Employee Responsible based on user who last changed.

    CRM 5.0
Partner procedure has IC Agent & Employee Responsible. Both use partner access sequence 0008 which brings in the person that created the document.
We would like to automatically change the Employee Responsible based on the last employee BP that changed the document.  This would be useful in warm transfers via CTI instead of the user manually changing the record.  The IC Agent can always be the person that created the record.
I don't see any actions that can set this, is there any standard functionality to do what I want? or is this an enhancement.

    Try this BadI, COM_PARTNER_BADI.
    Cheers,

  • User as Employee Responsible in a Sales Document

    <b>Hi,
User has been created as an employee in HR with a personnel number.
Partner determination has Employee Responsible as a Mandatory function in Customer Master and Sales Document.
How to link the User who creates a Customer/Sales Document to the Employee Responsible?</b>

what is the need of linking the guy who is going to enter the sales order and the employee who is responsible for sales(in partner function).
If your requirement is that the same guy creates the order, then you need to create the roles and a security profile accordingly.
    Thanks

  • Territory and partner determination procedure for employee responsible

    Hi CRM team,
I have a little issue for you I'll be very thankfull if someone could help me.
There is the organisation of the territory management in the company I'm working for:
    -Country
    -Region
    -sector
*each sector have a determination rule based on 1 condition "1 field from the BP Header (customer)"
*each sector have a position assigned to it. (Organisational model PPOMA_CRM) And there is 1 or 2 employee affected to each position..
    *When creating an activity,*
*First thing I enter the Account (customer: activity partner)*
*I would like the system to determine the employee affected to the sector of the BP as the employee responsible.*
    Any Idea?
For the moment, I'm searching in the partner determination procedure. But the standard access sequence Business Partner Relationships: Activity Partner -> User dont work.
There is some sitting from my IMG:
The partner fonction Employee Responsible is with
    *fonction category: employee
    *usage: CRM
*Relationship category: Is the employee responsible for
    Partner determination procedure:
In the acces sequence, I put a dialogue seq 15 :
    Business partner from territory
And in the detail on source, I put:
    Fonct. categ. : Employee
    Usage: CRM
    It dosn't work...
I don't know if I'm am searching in the right place.
Could you help me with a solution to have the needed system behavior????
Thanks a lot for your time and your help.
    Best regards,
    Ahmed.

    Hi Ahmed,
After created determination rules for territories have executed the report CRM_TERRMAN_PROC_REL for initial option?
Once territories and determination rules are created, you need to run the above report in Background(schedule a batch job) which will establish relationships between the territories and corresponding attributes. You need to run this report every time there is a change in determination rule of create/change territories.
    This should resolve your problem

  • How to assign employee responsible of service order to customer follow up?

    Hi everyone,
when i create a customer follow up for a service contract, my partner number is assigned to employee responsible by default. However i want the employee responsible for the service contact to be copied to the follow up.I checked the partner determination procedure, which is properly configured.
And i also want to know, why my partner number is getting assigned to the employee responsible.
I checked the corresponding node getter method, where the collection wrapper contains my partner number for the partner function employee responsible.
         Please suggest some solutions.

I'm saying that you didn't search SCN because your first post shows this. You didn't give any details neither how your PDP is "properly configured". If it'd have been configured properly you would not get the issue, right?
Another thing is if you searched SCN on partner determination you would find FM  CRM_PARTNER_DETERMINATION_OW. This the API which is triggered from BOL layer. And the result is transferred to BOL layer and available in "collection_wrapper".
Now you gave some more tips. For example, that the same PDP is used for other transaction types. That's better.
First of all, as Nagaraj Sarangamath said. Check if your employee responsible partner function in the PDP has an access sequence which takes the employee responsible from preceding document prior to the access which takes the current user. Which access sequence is maintained in your PDP for employee responsible? What steps does it have?
Another thing which is  Sigrid Wieshofer mentioned is how is your assignment of partner functions to business transactions in IC set? What is in the mentioned IMG setting?
One more tip is if the copy control is activated for activities in your system and has been set up for other transaction types except your Custom follow up. In the copy control you can actually handle partner determination as well.

  • How to avoid the "Enter Employee Responsible" error in an Opportunity

    Hi CRM gurus,
My employer wants me to create a custom Lead Type (and an Opportunity Type) which will look just like the SAP default Lead (and Opportunity Type respectively), except that he wants a custom Partner Function called "Sales Person" instead of the two default Partner Functions "Sales Representative" and "Employee Responsible".
So, I made a copy of the PF "Employee Responsible" and named it as "Sales Person". I made a copy of the Partner Determination Procedure for both Lead and Opportunity Transactions. Deleted the PFs "Sales Representative" and "Employee Responsible", and added the PF "Sales Person". I made a copy of the Lead and Opportunity Transaction Types, and assigned the appropriate PF Determination Procedures. I got the Access Sequence and the Partner Determination Procedure right (checked it by clicking the button "Check Part. Determ. Proc"). I did all the miscelleneous minor changes that need to be done.
Now, when I create a Lead, and then create an Opportunity as a follow up document, and add a Product to this and try saving the Opportunity, I get an error message saying "Enter Employee Responsible".
It seems that the PF "Employee Responsible" is a required field in the SAP default Opportunity, but how can I avoid that in my custom Opportunity?
Even if we try to avoid this PF now, does it have any repercussions in the follow-up documents that get generated from this transaction (like Sales Quotation, Sales Order etc) or in any other way. How important is the PF "Employee Responsible", or better, what's the significance of this PF in the Opportunity transaction?
I'll appreciate any thoughts from you. I will instantly award max points for the correct answer
    Thanks,
    -Pras

    Kai,
Thanks for your response. I have mailed you the screen-shots of my configurations. I did not know how to pass this info via SDN, hence I mailed it directly to your e-mail ID in your profile. I am sorry if that's not the right way to approach for help.
    >>If you maintain an additional employee responsible, does it work then?
I have set the configuration "Only Functions Assigned to procedure" for the Permitted Functions in the Partner Determination Procedure. Hence, I do not have an additional "Employee Responsible" Partner Function in my list. This is to not permit the end-user to use other Partner Functions besides the mentioned here. The client wants to make this as simple as possible without giving too many options to the end-user (sales folks).
However, I will temporarily set this field to "All defined Partner Functions" and, enter a BP for Employee Responsible and let ytou know what I see.
Thanks a zillion for your help.
    Thanks and regards,
    -Prashanth

  • Org Units as partner function 00000014 (Employee Responsible)?

    Hi All,
Hopefully a quick and simple question....
SAP allows a business partner to be assigned as the "employee responsible" to a transaction if (a) they hold the role of "employee" OR "organisational unit" AND are included in the Org Structure.  All seems pretty simple?
But the search help associated with partner function 00000014 is for the SAP standard employee search, which only allows searching for persons and not organsations.
Any idea on how a seach for organisations can be performed for the "employee responsible"?
    Kind regards

    Hi,
I think the partner function 00000014 holds only the BP who are defined in the Role Employee in the system and a user is assigned to them.
Org BP is not not assigned to this partner function, hence the standard F4 search help has no provision to find the org bp.

  • Action container element of employee responsible

    Hi experts,
We are using action in order to send mails, now it is working fine, the triggers is the status of our complaint.
But a new requirement is to use employee responsible as a trigger, so for instance our complaint has user X as an employee responsible and the we change the employee responsible to Y, then a mail should be sent.
So we need a container element that represents the employee responsible field, and we can not find it in the condition editor.
We need that container element so we can make the following expression:
Employee responsible = Y  then we use a condition to send the mail.
    Thanks in advance.

    Hi Luis,
Verify that you are using BUS2000120 as the object for this action. In the standard definition there is a BOR Object type called Person responsible under the CRM Complaint Object. You may have to open the hierarchy for this. This field can be used to satisfy your requirements. Otherwise a parameter can be created where the BUPA table is taken as an object of type ABAP class. You can choose  the BP number or name of the employee responsible as your condition.

  • Lead Org determination from Employee responsible

    Hi,
We are creating leads by executing campaigns. Now when leads are created, Sales org is determined from user who has logged into the system, however I want to change this. Sales org in lead should be determined by employee responsible.
I am not sure which org determination rule should be used and if there is any other customization that has to be done along with this to resolve this issue.
    Please help.
    Thanks,
    Bhushan

Is there a standard rule for this...with some of my research i feel like this can be achieved with Org determination rule 10000194 and Partner Function ORG = Person Responsible.
I would like to know other impacts if I change my current Partner Function ORG from Activity Partner to Person Responsible. Will it affect Partner Determination Procedure??

  • Responsible Organisation determination by Employee Responsible

    Hi Experts,
In our scenario the sales representative is assigned via the relationship to the business partner. When creating an activity or opportunity the responsible organizational unit should be determined from the partner function employee responsible in the transaction (which get determined from the BP relationship). Does anyone know how to achieve this.
There is a rule available to the determine organizational unit from the user logged in but no specific rule for scenario described above. The challenge thus is to modify the input of the container for this new rule so it gets populated with the BP of the employee responsible instead with the BP of the user .
    Detailed:
    Master Data
Customer Y has Sales Manager Y
    Transaction
    Customer Y
    Employee Responsible: Y
=> Determine responsible organizational unit from employee responsible Y.
    Best Regards,
    Erik

    Hi Oliver,
Also for Organisation determination some steps are required.
    1. Creat organisation model with division and distribution channel, sales org and sales office
    2. In BP (org) for sold to party or Sales prospect enter the required data in sales area data tab. with division and distribution channel.
    3. Go to SPRO >IMG>CRM>Master data>Organisation>org determination>define rule
ther u have to specify the structure of org model. And most important is Attribute set it as per your requirment.(e.g.partner no)
    4. Go to SPRO >IMG>CRM>Master data>Organisation>org determination>define responsibilty
    5.creat org data profile e.g. ( z_orgpro_oppt)
    6. Add this profile in transaction type.in Go to SPRO >IMG>CRM>Transaction>Basic settinf Define transaction type
    7. Add the Partner determination profile having Emp responsible with unique Access sequence ( it would be " data from org" )
8.In Easy Access open the same transaction (e.g. opportunity)
    9. putt BP No in sold to party
As u enter the BP No in which u have enter the sales area data it will generate the Pop Up regarding Orgnisation , select one whatever is required
again it will display another PopUp i.e combination of Sales org + division+distribution channel.
    select one
Now It will generate PopUp of Emp responsibble select one who is actually responsible.
    Result:--
It will automatically populate the data in basic data tab and in organisation tab.
    <b>Reward points if it helps!!</b>
    Best regards,
    Vikash.

  • Employee Responsible comes Empty On Account Creation

    Hi experts!!
We are creating Accounts using BAPI_BUPA_FS_CREATE_FROM_DATA. So far we had no problem, but the last two days the Employee Responsible field comes empty in Account Overview Page, even though the user who runs the program with the BAPI is assigned to the Organizational Model..
    Any ideas????
    Please help!!!

    Hi,
I have put the breakpoint in GET_EMPLOYEENAME and when ever i try to create an account it hits here.  This method gets the name of employee from Employee ID  Which is part of STRUC.PARTNER2. In this context node GET_PARTNER2 is not greyed  but SET_PARTNER2 is green.
The Context node Employeeresponsible has not been enhanced. Its in grey . I guess this means its not enhanced.   Though we have enhanced the view BP_HEAD/AccountDetails with z context nodes, which are not grey.
What should i do to disable the assignment of employee?  why is this relationship assigned automatically?

  • Employee responsible is not determined in partner determination- Transaction

    Hi Experts,
Partner determaination in Activity.  Eg :  Sold to party :1001051,   Employee id : 80007 and sales employee id: 80005.
under BP Sold 1001051 has relationship employee responsible 80007 relationship is maintained.
In the org model under the Sales org postion sales employee : 80005 is assigned.
we have created a partner determination procedure with partner functions 10 as Sales employee with category employee and relationship category as Bur011 as employee responsible  and partner funciton 20 as employee with the same category and relationship category.
In the PDP we hace created acccess sequnece with 10 CRM_partner_org data with the rule configured to get the sales employee.
Access sequence 20 as CRM_Partner_business partner relationship to get the employee relationship from BP.
When we create the activity the partner determination is happening and under the partners tab we find the
    sales employee = 80007
    Employee = 80007
Now in the partner determination access sequnce 10 is not working, system is filling up the value of employee 80007 in the sales employee feild.
we have checked the rule and simulated the rule, we are getting the correct result of the postion and the agent -user assignment as 80005. but when we create a activity it is skipping access sequence 10 and by default fills up the value from the BP relationship Employee responsible 80007(employee) to the sales employee partner function.
If we are having 2 persons as employee in BP, the partners are filled twice. for example : Sold to party :1001051,   Employee id : 80007, 80006 and sales employee id: 80005.
in Partner assignment block we are getting output as, it is not takind sales employee id 80005.
    sales employee = 80006
    sales employee = 80007
    Employee = 80006
    Employee = 80007
Please help me with a clue how to fix this issue.
    Regards,
    Karthik

    Hi Karthik,
You can proceed with debugging the access sequences. The access sequences are hit via BADI : COM_PARTNER_DETERM and the implementation to chose is with the filter = source name.
Eg: CRM_PARTNER_DETERM_C for relationship based access.

  • Employee Responsible relationship flow to ECC

    Dear all,
We are maintaining Employee responsible relationship to each customer in CRM.
And we are expecting that Employee number would be visible in ECC system ---  in Customer Master -
    Sales Area Data -
    Partner Functions tab -
    Employee Responsible Partner Function.
We have maintained identical numbers for employee in both systems.
I mean to say we have taken employee number from HR system (PA30) in ECC and we have given it as a external number to the Employee Business Partner.
Customer Record is uploading perfectly from CRM to ECC, but relationship to Employee is not at all appearing in ECC customer.
We have been struggling to solve this issue quite a long time.
I need some one help to resolve this issue, your suggestions will be highly appreciated.
