Employee Termination after payperiod end dates and before end of the year
I need a best possible senario at my current client one of the employees is going to be terminated *(resignation)on Dec 29th 2010 and his last payroll for the year runs up to Dec 26th 2010 (12/13/2010-12/26/2010: Check Date 12/24/2010), and there will be a reminder of three more days because his termination on 12/29/2010. But the business is looking to not to carry his additional three working pay days for the next year and W2 and wanted to pay in regular check that will be 12/24/2010 as an additional payment.
We dont do OCWB checks...can you please give us a best possible senario in SAP will be greatly appreciated
Hi,
A few things could be done here:
1. Put the employee on unpaid leave for the extra three days and pay them out using a one time payment in the last pay period of the year.
2. Terminate them at the end of the pay period and pay them out with a one time payment in the last pay period of the year.
It really depends on a few factors. You have to think about how end dating the employee on a different date them the actual termination date will effect other configuration/customization you my have and should the employee really get a year end tax form next year for those 3 days.
thanks.

Fixed start date and variable end date
I'm using Project 2010 Standard. Task A has already started. It can't end until 2 weeks after the completion of task B. The only way I can make Project schedule this task is by doing so manually, allowing Project to calculate the duration. But then if the
end date of task B changes, Project reschedules the entire task based on the duration without regard for the start date. If I add a % complete to task A, then the end date doesn't change if the end date of task B does. Project seems to fix the duration
once it's calculated. I need the duration to be flexible based on the fixed start date and the end date of task B. This project file is stored in SharePoint so I can't make task A a hammock task. I get the error "You cannot create links from a project
file that exists on a Web folder to another file" even though it's the same file. Any suggestions would be greatly appreciated.WhoKnows,
I'm afraid without a hammock task the only way to do what you want is either with a manual reschedule or a macro to recalculate the duration of Task A when Task B moves.
Update: Okay, after playing around here is a little trick that might work.
1. Break Task A into two parts (e.g. -1 and -2)
2. Set the predecessor of Task A-2 to be finish-to-start with Task A-1 and finish-to-finish + 2w with Task B
Depending on the nature of Task A you may still need to do a little manual adjusting but it will effectively allow the start of Task A to be fixed and the finish to be variable depending on the status of Task B. Does that work for you?

Delivery Block at PGI level based on GI date and Month end date
Business need a check on delivery processing based on the Planned GI date, Month end date and transit period. This transit period is a custom field and dependent on customer. Also it is not maintained anywhere in system. Business store it in some excel format.
The logic needed is: For any given month, the delivery order MUST be goods issued in the same month, i.e. once the order is delivered, the Post goods issue should ONLY be allowed if and only if , the PLANNED GI date ( as maintained in delivery ) + transit time ( at customer level ), falls within the month end date. If not, a block should be applied at PGI and only authorized personnel should be able to release that block.
Also, there will be no check at invoicing VF01 level. Once the PGI blocked is removed, there will be no check on invoicing. The month end date may vary month to month and need to in combination of Sales Org / Plant as mentioned
In addition, the business need an exception report where the information of releasing the block should appear for release date, user id of the responsible person, time sales order no etc. and it should be downloadable.
We can have a custom table to maintain the month end day in given combination.
But I need your expert inputs as-
1- Can we add this transit period in at customer master data as it is dependent on customer and there are huge no of customers for the sales unit? If not, then how to maintain it; may be a z table?
2- Based on this logic, what should the code/logic to be written for block at PGI.
3- How to control the authority check for removing the block.
4- The source fields for exception report.
Pls revert accordingly.
Many thanks in advance.Hello,
Please refere the answers to your questions:
1- Can we add this transit period in at customer master data as it is dependent on customer and there are huge no of customers for the sales unit? If not, then how to maintain it; may be a z table?
You can either use some un-used Feild in Customer Master or maintain a Z-Table. I believe maintaining a Z-Table would be easy as you have huge number of Customers. You can also write a dmall program to Pick the Customer-wise transit dates from a excel file & store in Z-Table.
2- Based on this logic, what should the code/logic to be written for block at PGI.
You have explained the requirement well in your thread, you need to explain the same to your ABAPer & Basis person & they would do the needful.
3- How to control the authority check for removing the block.
Basis person would create & assign a Z-Authorization object which the ABAPer would use in his program.
4- The source fields for exception report.
Once you do the above development, your ABAPer will easily pick the required feild in Report as he has already used all the feilds somewhere in his development.
Hope this helps,
Thanks,

I need to change the contract item end date and start date using some function module in IS-U system (may be as RFC to CRM).Pleaselet me know if any body is ware of this functionality?
I am aware of a FM EECRM_CONTRACT_DATE_CHANGE which may be used for changing End Date
but how to change the start date of a new contract item?
Please let me know if any body is aware of this?
ThanksHi,
Hope you can solve it by this [Link1|Re: Function modules; [link2|CRM material;.

Difference between After parameter Form Trigger and before Report Trigger
hi,
Can some one tell me difference between After parameter form Trigger and Before parameter trigger.
Why do we need both these trigger , why can't we use any one of them because after parameter trigger will obviously fire before report trigger and similarly before report trigger will fire after parameter form.
Thanks
RamHi,
i will make it clear..!
Actually, we have four type of triggers in reports..!
Before Parameter -- fires before params are suppied to the calling report..
After Parameter -- fires after params are suppied to the calling report..
Before Report -- fires before report is generated..
After Report. -- fires after report is generated..
Before Report and After Report triggers are used for formatting the report design..
like u can specify a report to be displayed based on a condition in the Before
Report trigger and u can specify some backend updations in the after report trigger
which fires after report is generated.. -

can I change my family plan to the month to month plan prior to my contract end date and still use the same phone without an etf
Great question dreyfusdad !
I understand it’s always good to be aware of the changes once your contract is completed and I’m happy to help you. You can log into My Verizon to view the contract end date. Tikibar1, thank you for pointing in the right direction; it will automatically continue to bill you as usual, but it will be on a month to month basis. It will keep you on a post paid account; however, if you wanted to transfer to a Prepaid account the process may be different. We’d love the opportunity to review your account for the best plan for you. Please let us know if we can help you with that.

After Install IOS 8 and 8.0.2, the Ipad audio was distorted, and the bluetooth connection to audio speaker have wheezing.
I ALSO just updated my brand new iphone 6 to 8.0.2, and I ALSO had my cellular service BRICKED.
All I get on the signal meter is Verizon 1x. Every so often 3G would popup and you could send a text (no calls though) but it's gone in seconds. So I can't send texts or make phone calls.
This phone worked immediately before the update and stopped working immediately after the update.
My neighbor has a iphone 5S. He updated to 8.0.2 lat week and had no problems UNTIL just this morning, when his phone stopped working - no cellular voice or data. He downgraded back to ios 8.0 but his cellular service never came back.
Called verizon - was told there were no service outages and then I got transferred to tech team.
Tech team had do all the Apple troubleshooting steps but nothing more. So they said "take it back."
So this BRAND NEW iPhone 6 phone is BRICKED because of iOS 8.0.2.
Thanks Apple! -
SG-300 28P switches problem with VLAN Data and Voice, working all the time as Voice VLAN
Hi Everyone,
Thank you very much for your help in advance. I’m pulling my hair to fix the problem.
I just got the new SG-300 28P switches. My Bios ordered for me. I did not know how it runs until now... not an IOS based. I really do not know how to configure it.
I have 2 VLAN are Data and Voice.
- Data VLAN ID is 2 IP 192.168.2.X/255.255.255.0
- Voice VLAN ID is 200 IP 192.168.22.X/255.255.255.0
- I created two vlans, in switch, Data and Voice.
- On the port number 28, it is trunk by default, so I add Data vlan ID 2 tagged.
- On the port number 26, it is trunk by default, so I add Voice vlan ID 200 tagged.
- On the port number 27, I add Data vlan ID 2 tagged for Data vlan out.
- Port settings No.1
I set it up as Trunk with Data vlan 2 untagged, and 200 Tagged (voice vlan). I plugged in a phone with a pc attached. But the PC will get to the vlan 200 to get the DHCP address, but no from vlan 2. The Phone works with correct vlan ip.
- Port settings No.2
Trunk with vlan 1UP, 2T, and 200T. The phone is even worse. Would never pick up any IP from DHCP.
- Port settings No.3
Access with 200U...of course the phone will work... and the PC could not get to its own vlan. Instead, the PC got an ip from the voice vlan. Not from VLAN 2.
I have Linksys phone I’m not sure if this help.
For more information I setup in switch,
- enable voice vlan
- set the port on auto voice vlan
- enable LLDP-MED globally
- create a network policy to assign VLAN 200
- assign this network policy to the port the phone is connected to.
I hope this information help to help me to setup Data and Voice vlans, to plug the phone to work with vlan Voice 200 (IP rang 192.168.22.X), from phone to Pc and pc work as Data vlan 2 (IP rang 192.168.2.X).I just got done setting up voice VLANs on an SF 300-24P and verified working. This was working with Cisco 7900 series phones connected to a Cisco UC setup.
Here's my sample config.
Note that I edited this by hand before posting, so doing a flat out tftp restore probably won't work. However, this should give you a clue. Also, don't take this as 100% accurate or correct. I've only been working with these things for about a week, though I've worked with the older Linksys SRW switches for a couple of years. I'm a CCNP/CCDP.
VLAN 199 is my management VLAN and is the native VLAN on 802.1q trunks.
VLAN 149 is the data/computer VLAN here.
VLAN 111 is the voice/phone VLAN here.
VLAN 107 does nothing.

Hi, I got a big problem. I restored my macbook pro and after I erased everything and started to restall the system, it showed I need to give the apple ID that was purchased the lion. The problem is that I lost my installing CD, and I don't have an ID with lion purchased, so what should I do? Do you sell the system software?
This is a user forum; we're not Apple.
Please contact the Apple Support folks directly for issues related to hardware and software purchases.
The particular model of MacBook Pro is a key detail here, as the Mac model will determine the oldest version it can boot, as well as whether it'll boot more current software.
AFAIK there is and was no Lion installer DVD available. It was a download. AFAIK, the last DVDs commonly available were for Snow Leopard 10.6. Snow Leopard DVDs are still available in the Apple online store in various countries, if your MacBook Pro is old enough to be able to boot that version.
If your MacBook Pro purchase with Lion wasn't registered with Apple, then you'll have to discuss this directly with the Apple Support folks, or repurchase Lion from the Mac App Store (which will usually involve a call to Apple for a redemption code as it's old software), or you'll "purchase" (it's free) Mavericks OS X 10.9 and wipe and install that assuming your MacBook Pro supports Mavericks. If you didn't purchase the MacBook Pro from Apple (and it was shipped with an older release), then you'll end up acquiring a redemption code from Apple for Lion, or installing Mavericks.
For completeness and given you're probably already aware of this, the usual approach for restoration with recent OS X versions is via the recovery boot (more details). If the disk is wiped and you can't get Lion, then you'll probably end up reinstalling with Target Disk Mode using another Mac with a compatible FireWire or Thunderbolt port and a cable. Or visit the local Apple Store.
sputniki: Once OS X 10.7 or 10.9 has been reinstalled, yes, getting Time Machine configured and going is undoubtedly on the agenda. But had there been a viable backup here, I expect jianghua would have used it. -

iChat disconnects after a few seconds and starts to blink the whole screen
this started since I installed Leopard; if I go back to 10.4 it works OK. I got rid of all the plist and it still hangs up. How can I uninstall this. On my laptop it works OK but I installed it with complete erase on laptop; on my desktop I stalled it over the old system.
error message AIM time out An AIM service error occurred.

and you have attemptedto log too often in a short period of time. wait a few minutes before trying to login in again.
EVEN THOUGH I ONLY TRIED ONCE TO LOG IN.If you Archived and Installed then check iChat launches from the Applications Folder.
If it does that Drag the current (iChat 3) icon off the DOCK and drag iChat 4 to the DOCK.

like -> used for refering existing data elements in data dictionary or in sap
type -> used for refering existing data types in sap.
types: used for creating used defined structure of tables which has fields from more tahn one table.
diff b/w types and type in creation of internal tables is that when u create a table with types then u can use same for work area creation also.
ex:
TYPES : BEGIN OF t_vbap,
vbeln1 LIKE vbeln,
posnr LIKE posnr,
kwmeng LIKE kwmeng,
netpr LIKE netpr,
netwr LIKE netwr,
werks LIKE werks,
matnr LIKE matnr,
arktx LIKE arktx,
END OF t_vbap.
data: itab1 type t_vbap
wa_itab1 type t_vbap.
when type is used then u have to create a defintion of work area for another time when internal table doesnt have headr line as
ex:
DATA : BEGIN OF t_vbap OCCURS 0,
vbeln1 LIKE vbap-vbeln,
posnr LIKE vbap-posnr,
kwmeng LIKE vbap-kwmeng,
netpr LIKE vbap-netpr,
netwr LIKE vbap-netwr,

some music files do not show up in google play music app library. I did clear cache/data and restarted phone. The music is stored on the SD card. Most of the music in the library is in the same folder on the sd card. I can play the song from file manager, but it still is not in the music library in play music.
Cyndi6858, help is here! We'd be happy to help figure this out. Just to be sure though, the Droid Maxx should not have an SD card. Is this the Droid Razr Maxx? How did you add the music to the device? Are you able to see the files and folders located on the SD card or device when plugged in?
Thanks,
