Empties Processing -IS Retail

Hi
I had created a Article as Full product with Material Type "VOLL" and two empties articles with Material Type "LGUT". In Full product (Basic Data view) i had activated "with empties BOM".
While creating Purchase Order, when i entered the full product, automatically the two components had exploded but the Return item is not activated for the Empties material.
Can any one please tell, what customising to be done  so that automatically Return item to be activated for Empties articles when i enter Full product the Purchase Order.
Regards,
Bala

Hi Sakthi,
Actually, i done as per the Empties processing Building Block, as per the BPPs:
Process Flow is:
Step 1: Assigin empties articles to Full products as component in Basic Data View in Article Master Record (T.code:MM42)
Step 2: Create Purchase order for full product to External Vendor, automatically the componenets has be to exploded with Return item active. (only components will be marked as Return Active)
Step 3: Goods Receipt from Vendor to DC.
Step 4: Stock Transport Order from DC to Store. ( Here also, components will be activated as Return Item)
Step 5: Goods Receipt in Store
Step 6: Return the empties articles (component) to DC. (T.Code: MB01 )
In my case, since the Return Item is not activated for components in Purchaser order or STO, i not able to return the empties in T.Code:MB01
If, required please give ur mail id, i will send the BPP document for Empties Processing to you id.
Thanks
Bala

  • Human Task in Empty Process

    Hi Guys!
Can someone tell me how to create a Human Task in an empty project?
These are the problems i m facing:
    1. I dont have any schema in my process so i cannot choose the task parameter
2.If i choose initiateTask from workflow.xsd as the task param then the task jsps are not generated
3.If i create a variable from a schema and use it then it will say unresolved variable ..make sure it is in any of the WSDLs referenced..
4.Morever i can't import the schema which initiates the process as it has some imports and jdev says problem building schema
Any suggestions as how to go about this?

Well you must understand what the 'sync' part in your process is.
if you have a process with is sync and in it you put a human workflow which will give his callback like 3days later before your own process gives the reponse back to the caller, how do you want to communicate this to the caller ?
normally you use a sync process which will give the response back in a few moments, so the caller can wait on it, he won't wait on it for 3days.
so for you the question, whats the reason why it needs to be sync, what do you want to do with the response (even if it's getting back to you after 3days)
if it's after 3 days, why not just make the process async and put the response on for example a queue

  • Layaway process in Retail

    Hi, I have following Requirement
    Layaway process:
    1) In this sales process, Customer Make the Downpayment and remaning will be paying by 12 installment.
    2) The minimum down payment shall be 10% of the total purchase amount.
3)The POS or SRS system should print the out put 12 month payment plan, once customer make the downpayment(Intial amount)
Can any one pls sugeest how to MAP in IS-Retail and POS or SRS system & what are the steps.
    thanks
    Satish

    Dear Satish
I will suggest the you use the Layaway functionality that is available as standard in SAP POS. You can then have all the functionailties like :
    1. Creating a payment plan
    2. at the month end you can have a report of pending payments
and many more that will be required to succesfully carry out the layaway process.
Unfortunately there is no standard XI content available for the same , so that will be required to be build and then it will work fine
    Warm Regards

  • Minimum documents required to finish Sales Process for retail Business

    Hello Everybody
This is my 1st post in the forum as per the Rules and Regulations i have searched for the solution may be i was not able to reach to my Answer.
I have been assigned to a project where my client also has  Reatail Outlets where the sales process is done mostly.
My client requirement is, they want to have minimum sales process as there will be many walk-in customers which will not allow them to have complete cycle.
My question is do we need to have sales order-delivery-PGI-Billing can we skip one or two document or is there any other way for Retail Business.
Note: Dear Moderators if my question is not in proper forum please guide me.
    Thanks
    Riyaz Malik

    Hi
The better option is to use IS-Retail, but you need that your system is installed as an IS-Retail. If it's the case, then you can use the invoice FP (see it in VOFA). SAP gives you the IDOC WPUUMS to create this invoice and the PGI (movements 251/252). You need to have create the plant as a POS (point of sale) with tcode WB01/02/03, and in tab 'POS' mantain the data that determines the pricing procedure. The materials, is better to mantain as articles, ie, with tcodes MM41/42/43 instead MM01/02/03, and more details, but of course you need that your system will be an IS-R. If your system is an IS-R see SM30 for view V_TWPIV. So, when your process the IDOC you create the invoice and process the PGI (well, the movements in the profile).
    I hope this helps you

  • Empties Processing in Purchasing

    Hi all,
I have a peculiar requirement for empties.
I am buying Gas in cylinder...
It come in Cylinders which must at some point in time be returned back to vendor after using it.
I have created an empties Material, and one full product material.
Both are relevant to Quanitity and value update.
I created a Production BOM, Empties BOM for both of them.
But when i am raising a Purchsae Order, the BOM is not getting exploded.. and Quantity of Empty Packaging is not getting updated when i do a GR for GAS.
Please suggest me.. how can we tackle this scenario.
It very urgent.. a promt reply would be highly appreciated.
    Thanks.

    Bonjour Fabrice,
When I input the Milk material in the puchase order, the full product (bottle) is not added automatically
I believe the full product is the milk material itself, the bottle is an empty.
I think the "empty" material also needs a structure category as empty, I know it is possible and useful, but not sure it is mandatory.
Did you add the "empty" material types in customizing as empties?
Your message is now 1 month old, did you solve your problems already?
BTW we have the MM empty solution working at a Customer site, so it definitely works and provide Logistics integration for empties.
    Regards,
    Franck

  • Empty Process Context

    Hi All,
I have created a process wih multiple Human Activities, when I am trying to do the Output mapping of Human Task 1: I am not able to see any nodes/attributes in the process context on the Right side.
I am able to see the TaskOutput on the left pane.
    Any clues?
    TIA,
    Arafat

    Hi Arafat,
AFAIK you need to do a mapping from node to node and then map the elements within it individually (e.g. if the left structure would differ from the right one, but may also occur more than once). By right clicking onto the node and dragging it to the right side you can open the context menu which offers some handy operations (like "map automatically").
    Hope that helps,
    Martin

  • Asynchronous BPEL Process called from an empty BPEL process getting lost.

    Hi
I have an empty BPEL process calling an asynchronous BPEL process. The empty process is triggered by a read file activity. It finishes successfully and even calls the asynchronous process. There is no error thrown but the called asynchronous process does not show up in the dashboard.
When this asynchronous process is manually run from the console I get the page stating 'Cannot find the specified instance'.
I am using Jdev 10.1.3.2 and SOA Suit 10.1.3.1.
Any suggestion as to why this is happening and what is the remedy?
    Buddhadev.

Check your log as soon as you find that the parent process has found its way into the console. More information on logging can be found here - http://download-uk.oracle.com/docs/cd/B31017_01/integrate.1013/b28982/logging.htm
Not quite sure why its so, but since 10.1.3, I've observed that the console simply doesn't show errored processes at times. So, checking the log can be a starting point in diagnosing the real issue.

  • Empty BPEL process freezes

I have an Empty BPEL process which is invoked by an inbound adapter. When it is instantiated, I immediately call the checkpoint() function in embedded Java in order to get it to show up on the console. It shows up there.
The process makes a couple assignments and then runs some embedded Java that, depending on the input, should take between 1 minute to 1 hour to complete. I have put checkpoint() throughout the process in order to localize the problem. I put a terminate immediately after this long-running embedded Java. The process never reaches this terminate.
The process always makes it into the long-running embedded Java, but never makes it out, regardless of if it is a tiny input that should only take a minute, or a large input that should take an hour. I have checked behind the scenes and found that the embedded Java sometimes complete all its processing, even when the BPEL Console is stuck on the embedded java. Other times it seems to terminate my java prematurely before it can finish. This code has been running for a long time without any problems outside of BPEL, so I know it is not hanging inside of it. It's just that execution never seems to be able to get back into BPEL and restart the progress in the console following the embedded Java, or it takes a while and then it terminates the embedded Java.
I've seen other people ask "what is an Empty BPEL process" but they never received satisfactory answers. Which transaction-timeout constraints affect Empty processes? Does the syncMaxWaitTime affect Empty bpel processes? Or is it treated like an asynchronous process?
My syncMaxWaitTime is 9600 seconds, and my transaction timeout settings have been tweaked similarly.
FYI: I run the long-running embedded java on my local machine using the exact same inputs I am giving it when it is in the BPEL process, and it works flawlessly for large and small files alike.
My domain logs give me the following when I use an input that should take about 1 minute max to complete processing. I provided the input and it was picked up about 1 minute after the TestFileTagValidation process was deployed.

    jdttaylor,
I'm afraid I'm having difficulty getting a test case to go through in anything less than about a minute.
About the suggestion to make the java exec an async web service. Can you point me to something that would describe how to do this? I assume you mean I can simply have a plain old java class that is exposed as a web service. Is this correct? Can I deploy this to SOA Suite or will it be standalone?
    Thanks.

  • IS-Retail:diff bet retail consignment process & rackjobber module

    hi experts,
Can anyone tell me what's the difference between retail consignment process and rackjobbers module in SAP IS-Retail.Explain me the processes and there complete settings step by step in detailed. Thanks in advance.
    Regards
    Gopal

    Hi Gopal,
    Consignment Goods,
A consignment occurs when vendor provide article to a retailer (the u201Cconsigneeu201D), who agrees to pay vendor proceeds from the sales minus a commission. If vendor product doesnu2019t sell, the retailer(consignee) can return it.The Consignment processing in retail allows you to transfer the goods from your DC to any location and you have the flexibility to the convert the Stock type from consignment stock to any other stock its depends on the receipient.
    Rack Jobber
Vendor provide the merchandise and rack directly in the retail location, and vendor work co-operatively with the retailer to share the profits. Thus relieving the retailer to acquire the merchandise and allow to gain from the sales of merchaside.Hope you understand.
    Regards
    Abdul

  • Message-Mapping Problem with empty queue while testing

    Hello,
I want to develope an mapping to an BMEcat-structure. This mapping should be an filter.
My problem is, that everytime I want to check, if my mapping works correct, the queues for the proccessing steps keeps empty.
I filled a test case with all data I needed for the step I want to test (not the whole mapping is ready, but for this step, it is). Now I go to my mapping step an check the queue for the parameters and the queue comes up and displays the correct values. In next step I want to display the queue of an "equalsS"-Step, but this queue keeps empty as all following queues too. Sometimes there is coming up an empty "Processing log"-window.
The problem only comes up, if the target-message is a BMEcat-Structure.
Have you any solution for this behaviour? Or do you need more informations?
Here you can find some Screenshots:

    Hello,
thank you for your tip, but the main problem is still existing. As you can see in the next screenshots, I build in your code and I'm sure it normally works fine. Also I filled the "have to"-Fields in the strukture, so that the check-function (F7) delivers an all right.
But still I get no queue results.

  • Empty Trash Taking Too Long

I am running Mac Tiger Intel on an iMac Core Duo. After moving 683 files to the trash,I get the notice that my imac is in the process of emptying the Trash bin, but after an hour nothing is happening in the progress bar, not one file is deleting so I turn off the computer with the physical button, then I try rebooting, get nothing but the turning icon beneath the grey Apple logo. The I try booting into Safe Mode holding the Shift key again the turning icon. Then I try running Applejack from the Command "S" prompt, again the same thing, that is where I am now, the icon has been turning for the better part of an hour. Because this is a Mac is the computer continuing the process of emptying the Trash before it boots up again, so shall I just let it run it's course, no matter how long it takes or is there some way I can boot up, begin the "emptying" process again? I am not much of a "techie" so can you please give me some simple way of booting into my computer, so I begin the trash empty process again? I am writing this from my backup G5. Thanks so much!! Ken.
