    Currently I am purchasing NITROGEN GAS for my manufacturing plant. Now I want to return empty cylinders of NITROGEN GAS to the supplier. What is the best possible way in SAP ? Pls. help me out.

    You can issue those empty cyclinders to the Supplier through different Movement Types (either through Non-Returnable Material or Returnable Material in case the those cylinders are cyclic in your process)
    Make sure the Material Type is <b>LEIH</b> (Returnable Packaging Material)
    Movement Type I am not sure...but do check 661 (GI returns to vendor)
    Reward Points if it helps,

  • ROS Questionnaire received empty from the supplier

    Hi Everyone,
    Just two issues:
    1.The first issue is that ROS questionnaires are sometimes received from the supplier with no data. When viewed from transaction Preselect suppliers, these questionnaire's fields are also not grayed out (e.g. one can type data into the text fields and select checkboxes), which is not characteristic of questionnaires received which contain data (they are uneditable). This only happens with some suppliers, therefore I do not know where to start. How can this problem be traced/solved?
    2. Once the supplier has received the mail with a questionnaire and completes the questionnaire is it possible to display a confirmation message to the vendor once he/she has click the submit button?
    Regards'
    David

    Hi
    For the 2nd problem, the answer is yes. You can display a confirmation mail/page after submission of questionaire. To do this, open your survey, navigate to Extras--> Confirmation Page. Set the flag for confirmation here. This should activate sending a confirmation after  questionaire submission. A mail would be sent if your using attachment, else if you are using URL, then a confirmation page would get displayed.
    For the first problem, I am not sure, but you can check by saving again your questionaire.

  • How to delete empty table row in the form using formcalc

    Hi All,
    I am displaying a table in PDF which has a few empty rows in between.  I need to delete those specific rows when the form is generated, so that they do not appear on the form.
    Has anyone worked on this before? If so, can you please share the code or advise.
    Regards
    Aditi

    Hello,
    first: there MUST be same backend you get the data from right? So in this backend there is some data extraction coding, right? So the result of this coding is bad, like some unwanted extra rows are returned in the proper set of rows, right? So why don´t you change this backend coding not to return the unwanted rows?
    IF that is not possible (I don´t believe this!), but just to describe other possibilities, you can place a script on the row subform event like initialize and test if there is something missing there and if so, set the presence of such a row to hidden.
    JS: If (this.fieldA.rowValue == "") { this.presence = "hidden"; }

    It hasn’t happen on Dev and Test before.
    I googled, The error is described as:

    The requested operation cannot be carried out because the

    But I cannot find the solution for that.

  • How to get the narrower terms of a category in the supplied knowledgebase?

    I want to add more medical terms for cardiovascular disorders to the supplied knowledge base of Oracle Text for better theme extraction. (Oracle 10g release 2, Oracle Text version 10.2.0.1.0 )
    Based on the "English Knowledge Base Category Hierarchy" documented at http://www.oracle.com/technology/products/text/index.html , I think I want to add more diseases names to "science and technology->life sciences->health and medicine->medical problems->cardiovascular disorders".
    Before doing that, I hope I can see the existing narrower terms under "cardiovascular disorders". I tried ctx_query.hfeedback() following the example in Oracle Text reference.
    But, I got the following error messages where I tried to print out content in the result table at the end:

    You can avoid the error by wrapping an if .. end if around the problem section, like so:
    IF frec.nt_feedback IS NOT NULL THEN
    i := frec.nt_feedback.FIRST;
    WHILE i IS NOT NULL LOOP
    dbms_output.put_line(frec.nt_feedback(i).text);
    i := frec.nt_feedback.NEXT(i);
    END LOOP;
    END IF;
    However, the reason that you are getting the error is because the nt_feedback is empty. You can see this by simply:
    select * from restab;
    The reason is that ctx_query.hfeedback is intended for finding narrower terms within your index that match narrower terms within your knowledge base. Since there is only one row in your table, there are no narrow terms to be found.
    To find narrower terms in your knowledge base, all you need is:
    SELECT CTX_THES.NT ('your_broad_term_goes_here') FROM DUAL;
    You may need to run the query as CTXSYS and specify the thesaurus name, if it is not part of the default thesaurus. You can also specify the level of narrower terms. A medthes must be purchased and loaded separately. I don't have a complete medthes, so the following is just a brief example, having loaded just a few terms:
    CTXSYS@orcl_11g> SELECT CTX_THES.NT ('health and medicine', 10, 'MEDTHES') from dual;
    CTX_THES.NT('HEALTHANDMEDICINE',10,'MEDTHES')
    {health and medicine}|{Anesthesia and Analgesia}|{Anti-Allergic and Respiratory
    System Agents}|{Anti-Inflamammatory Agents, Antirheumatic Agents, and Inflamatio
    n Mediators}|{Antineoplastic and Immunosuppressive Agents}
    CTXSYS@orcl_11g>

  • Default Carriage return in the last column when data is downloaded to Excel

    Problem:
    When you download data into Excel and if the last column of your excel is a numeric field, XMLP will add a carriage return (special character) to your numeric field. This feild will be considered as character field by excel.
    Work Around:
    When you build the template, create an empty column as your last column and leave E (or end-for-each) in that empty column.
    Note:
    If the last column is a character column then you do not have to do this.

    I originally had that END:VCARD without any carriage return.
    But I still get an extra carriage return at the end when the JSP renders to VCF
    I'm using Tomcat running on Linux.
    I found this, article which implies (but does not explicitly say) JSP in general adds a newline to the last line:
    http://www.caucho.com/resin-3.0/jsp/faq.xtp (But its not tomcat either, so maybe this info is irrelevant).

  • Generating Supplier Liability Account based on the Supplier Classification

    Hi ,
    In R12 I have a custom requirement like follows. Need to generate the Supplier Liability Account based on the Supplier Classification. When we select supplier type then by default liabilty account value will be the value from supplier--> setup --> options --> fianancial otpions --> accounting tab (GL -accounts liability value).
    so when we change the supplier type the liability account should changed based on that classification value.
    I have code in 11i where custom.pll was modified to acheive this, but how to implement this in R12 as supplier form is OAF based.
    the code from custom.pll for this is

    Hi,
    While you can refer to the SLA guide, for quick pointers what you need to do is:
    1. Identify the transaction types and associated events for that transaction.
    2. Build an accounting rule for the above.
    An example would be AP invoice validation or application of prepayments.
    The SLA guide provides step by step details on the above.
    Good Luck !!!

  • JSP for Vcard cannot strip carriage return in the last line of the file.

    I am using JSP to output a Vcard (http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/VCard)
    The following code works great in Windows but fails on the mac:
    <%@ page contentType="text/x-vcard" %><%--
    --%><%@ taglib prefix="c" uri="http://java.sun.com/jsp/jstl/core" %><%--
    --%><%@ taglib prefix="fn" uri="http://java.sun.com/jsp/jstl/functions" %><%--
    --%>BEGIN:VCARD
    VERSION:2.1
    <c:choose><%--
    --%><c:when test="${not ((empty param.lan) and (empty param.fin)) }"><%--
    --%>N:${param.lan};${param.fin}
    FN:${param.fin} ${param.lan}
    </c:when><%--
    --%><c:otherwise><%--
    --%>FN:${param.org}
    </c:otherwise><%--
    --%></c:choose><%--
    --%>ORG:${param.org}
    TITLE:${param.title}
    TEL;WORK;VOICE:${param.phwork}
    ADR;WORK:;;${param.st};${param.city};${param.state};${param.zip};
    EMAIL;PREF;INTERNET:${param.email}
    REV:20080424T195243Z
    <c:out value="${fn:replace('END:VCARD','\\\r','')}" escapeXml="false"/>After some tests, I discovered that Mac (I used Tiger, latest update, not Leopard) needs extra white space and carriage returns stripped off. Once this is achieved, the vcard will automatically import into Address Book. I have followed other forums which advice on using JSP comments as in the code above. But for some strange reason the last line of the JSP outputs an extra carraige return. How do I get rid of the carriage return at the end of the file? the replace function from JSTL is not working.

  • Return back the stock in a cross company stock transfer environment

    Hi all,
    I have a question in reagrds to Standard SAP Stock transport order with SD and billing (i.e. cross company stock transfer)
    For example:
    Ordering plant (issue Stock transport PO)----
    > Supplying plant (create DO) -
    > Supplying Plant (PGI) -
    > Ordering Plant (GR) -
    > Supplying Plant (billing) -
    > Ordering plant (invoice verification)
    Now my question is...
    if the ordering plant want to return the stock back to the supplying plant due to some business reason, what does ordering and supplying need to do?
    Can the supplying plant now issue a stock transport PO to the ordering plant to buy back (i.e. get back) the stock? is this the right away? and if not what is the right way so that the financial posting can correctly take  place.

    Thx a lot for ur help dr.
    I have activated the material transaction interface and now the stock quantity has decreased.
    I just wish to confirm some points in the creation of the new Order Type.
    I have done the following setups:
    Order Category: Mixed
    Transaction type code: Order
    Fulfillment Flow: Order Flow - Generic
    Line workflow assignment: BO Line - Inventory Interface
    Default return line type: Credit Only Line
    Default order line type: BO Line - Inventory Interface
    Plz confirm if the setups parameters are ok especially the Default return line type: Credit Only Line
    Thanks a lot dr.

  • Delete with extent returning to the tablespace

    When I delete all the rows from the table I can use:
    'truncate table mytable drop storage'
    and the extents are returned to the tablespace that table resides in.
    Is something like this possible with the delete statement? If not - or if I just didn't use it - when the delete makes many extents empty, does Oracle automatically reclaim them?
    Thx.

    >>
    when the delete makes many extents empty, does Oracle automatically reclaim them?
    <<
    Inserts into the table can and will refill the empty blocks given enough activity and over time but even if every block in an extent is empty Oracle does not release the extent back to the tablespace as freespace at least through 10g.
    If you need to release the extents to the tablepsace for reuse due to space requirements then you would need to reorganize the table and its indexes. The alter table move statement can be used if enough free space exists in the tablespace to support the operation or exp/truncate/imp ignore=y can be used.
    The question is how much space would be freed? How badly do you need it for other objects? And how long before the table would need to re-extend if you take the space away (or how long before the table would reuse the extents)?
    You do not want to perform reorganizations just to do them. There needs to be a real benefit to yourself or your application from the work.
