Empty dropdown in the inputComboboxListOfValues

Hi! There's some strange problem I'm stuck with. I have several inputComboboxLOVs on my page. They all work fine except one. When I press the dropdown button it shows only the "Search..." link and no items. When I click "search" I see all the expected data in the opened dialog. And after that (empty dropdown -> click on the "Search" -> select some item) this LOV begins to work just fine. Where can be the problem? I'v got another LOV (and it is quite similar: they both update 2 fields, their VOs both have bind variables in their criterias) next to it and it works fine from the beginning.

UWL Configuration Wizard - Empty Dropdown

Hi All,
System Info : EP7 SP18.
UWL Navigation Node Configuration Wizard shows empty dropdown, under the property " Select the Navigation Node To Be Customized. In the UWL documentation , it shows one dropdown as MAIN,however in this case there are no dropdown and as such the below table is not available.
How can I resolve this?
Any help would be appreciated.

SAP has not responded to our OSS Note regarding the UWL Conf wizard not working.
Anyone else know how to get the wizard to work in NW 7.0. We are on SP 20.

Empty Dropdown after adding variable reference to

Hi ,
I am facing a problem while trying to convert the currency from the report result.After right click and select Gloal currency translation ,it is giving me an empty dropdown menu.
If I give a fixed date in the currency translation type in T- code RSCUR ,it works fine ,I get all the translation type I created in the dropdown menu.When I give a variable for time reference
dropdown menu is empty.have anyone faced this earlier?

Hi,
First step is the check the data insde P table ( example /BIC/PXXX which will be there in the in master data and text tab)
if you find the data for newely added attributes then it works fine.
or else
Delete the master data
programs for individual IinfoObject master data deletion:
RSDMD_DEL_BACKGROUND or RSDMD_DEL_MASTER_DATA_TEXTS
then delete the transformation and recreate the transformation followed by DTP once again
activate all atributes individually once again
load data to the infoobject and check it.
you should be able to relove the problem

Tweak the deserialization of ASObjects to treat an empty string for the type of an object as null. It appears that there is some logic in the LC remoting code that relies on a non-null class name to always exist. This change reverts to the old behavior of not allowing empty string as a value for the ASObject.namedType.
This should fix bug 2448442 and its duplicates caused by the recent serialization changes.
I don't think this is the perfect fix. Pending further investigation, a better fix would be either:
a. If it's OK to assume that empty string should always mean null for the type of the ASObject, the code that enforces it should be in the setter/getter inside ASObject and not in the deserializer.
b. ASObject doesn't guarantee that a named type exists or is valid. In that sense an empty string is as bad as some random characters that cannot be a valid class name in java, so depending on how disruptive it may be, the fix should be in any logic that uses ASObject.getType().

Yes, you are right - but this message is standard AQ Adapter Header message - it's not defined by me. I just used message which was automatically added to my project when I have defined AQ Adapter.

Do you mean targetNamespace? If yes it's different as it points to process "targetNamespace="http://xmlns.oracle.com/PF_SOA_jws/PF_APPS/APPS_PROCESS" (names of application and process have changed as I try different ways to do that)

When I create a variable of header type, namespace ns1 is automatically created for it. I set it as property of receive activity. When process is instantiated on the serwer I get the error in which you can see that namespace is tns.
Maybe I'm doing something wrong but I don't see how I could fix this in my process.
You can see that the message I get on the server has nothing in common with the application/project/process names. Is it possible to define such variable?

PS:
In Transformation xsl file, both variables (source and target) has tns namespace for Header and PayloadHeader, and no namespace for subfields.

Now, the trash can will not empty some of the files deleted from the backup harddrive.

It will not delete.

Yes, the Old Master file has a folder for each year where I find all photos from that specific year. I am attaching a screen shot of the file.
In the meantime i have managed to download all photos (it did not download any video files though in mpg, avi, 3gp, m4v,mp4 and mov format) to a new iphoto library. Unfortunately the photos are quite mixed and often doubled up. I ma considering to purchase iphoto library which checks all duplicates in iphoto. this will save me a lot of time. What do you think?

How to arrange page dropdowns in the Web Analysis report

I have created a Web Analysis document based on my Esssbase cube. This document contains just one grid with 7 dropdowns. All dropdowns are in one line above and they are narrowed so as they all fit into 1 line within the screen and I cannot see the full names of members within a dropdown. So I need advice on how I can arrange the dropdowns in my Web Analysis report so that I can see the full names of members when opening the dropdown? Thank you so much!

Yes, it works if one creates dropdowns via combo box controls attached to the same data source as the spreadsheet and applying these controls via the service button control (in this case you do not create page dropdowns in the data layout window of the spreadsheet and leave them in the data layout window's Filter pane). Otherwise it is impossible to edit the size and position of page dropdowns created in the Data Layout window of the spreadsheet.

Can I update multiple forms with the same dropdown at the same time

I have 20+ forms that have a common dropdown. Each form has between 1 and 15 instances of this dropdown. The values in the dropdown are updated on a frequent basis.
Currently I have an identical Document JavaScript named 'UpdateDropdowns' in each form.

There are over 30 choices in my present iteration of var aList, but for brevity I've only listed the 3 examples to illustrate my JavaScript.
Currently when I have to update the dropdown, I follow these steps
Open form
Open UpdateDropdowns Document JavaScript
Add the additional value(s)
Highlight and copy the updated var aList
Close the Document JavaScript
Update the form in the Log Console
Repeat process for all forms (pasting in the new var aList to ensure conformity)
Is there a way to update all of my forms at once without having to go through this form by form process?

How to match the width of the choice box's dropdown to the choice box

I'm using a ChoiceBox control. The choice box seems to be composed of two parts: the box(displaying the current selection) and a context menu(dropdown). What I find strange is that the dropdown of the choice box(the context menu) has different size than the choice box by default:

I can style the choiceBox's box element by modifying the +.choice-box+ CSS selector. I can also style the dropdown using the +.context-menu+ and +.menu-item+ selectors.
How can I ensure that the dropdown has the same size of it's parent choice box and is aligned to it?

first run "ipconfig /flushdns" and then "ipconfig /registerdns" finally restart dns service and check the situation,also you can check dns logs computer management ->Event viewer->Custom Views->Server roles->DNS.

Hi Godhuli,
You can achieve this by the following procedure.
For your Corporate dropdown you need to specify a DataProvider.
For Your Facility dropdown you need to specify a Dataprovider.
For the Corporate dropdown there is a property "Affected DataProvider".
In that property select the DataProvider of your Facility dropdown.
So now when you select Corporate your Facility will get filtered by the values for that selected Corporate dropdown value.

On clicking empty cell in the table

System forces user to enter valid value on clicking empty customised cell in the table. it should not happen eventhough cell is previously empty.

Set the table property visibleRowCount property using a context attribute in your code. Set it to the value node (data source) size.
e.g

Since Apple doesn't repair iPhones (they replace them) you will have to take it back to whoever "fixed" it. Since it's been opened by an unauthorized 3rd party, it is no longer eligible for replacement by Apple.
