Am developing process for add address infotype to employee , if i didn't use workflow its working fine, but if i use workflow , when i fill the form and send it , the next agent get empty data, i mean what i entered not appear to him
even i try to run the workitem from design time , i get the same
please any one have idea what is the problem

How can I automate the multi-step process of looking up a caller's contact details when a telephone call comes in with caller ID. I want to be able to see more than just the first & last name when a client calls me. I would like the caller ID to pull up the same information that shows up when you search for and find a contact name and then click on the right arrow.
My workaround is to force/enter both the last name and the address in the last name field since then the address will show up.
The only computerized way to look up this additional information is to put the client on hold, memorize the first and last name and correctly enter it in the search field of the contact database and hopefully find it before the client gets tired of waiting.
Note that I go to about 48 small jobs per week. So far I have about 9,000 contacts. It's easy to make a mistake and have the client wondering what I'm doing and what's taking so long.
The second workaround is to use paper and pencil and ask the client for name, address, cross street and phone number again, repeating what I did some time previously.
Please help meautomate this process.

You don't have to put anyone on hold. When the call comes in, tap the Home button, then tap contacts, go to the contact. Tap Home button when finished, tap the top banner to return to the call screen.

Page not found or displayed in the approve step

Hi all
when i am performing the approve step then i am able to do the mark as approved step. but there is no stop button is displayed for me when the approver wants to stop the task after marking as approved.
how to gets displayed the stop button in the UWL task. is there anything required to assign permissions??

According to me,
You need to click on the Next Step. The Workflow will automatically reach the Stop step. It will not show as a button to be clicked. Go to the UWL and check the status of the Workflow. Hopefully you will find it as Stopped.

We are setting up the Approver Group 'Process MFG
Approvals" using a dynamic query, like:
SELECT PAPF.EMPLOYEE_NUMBER
FROM PER_ALL_PEOPLE_F PAPF,
fnd_lookup_values FLV
WHERE FLV.MEANING=PAPF.EMPLOYEE_NUMBER
AND lookup_type='SUG_SAMPLE_NOTIFICATION'
AND SYSDATE BETWEEN papf.effective_start_date AND papf.effective_end_date
AND FLV.LOOKUP_CODE= (SELECT GME.PLANT_CODE FROM GME_BATCH_HEADER GME WHERE

- Above query is passing the validation action from within the setup screen.
- However, when this approver group is being invoked via Sample Creation
workflow, there is following error raised:
ORA-20001:The approver group Process MFG Approvals has dynamic query in
wrong format
More, if user is trying to use a more simple query like:
select distinct person_id from PER_ALL_PEOPLE_F where full_name = 'Mr.
Oliverking G' we are getting same error
Any idea, plse, would be gretaly apprciated.

Hi,
You need to prefix the value with a text string which indicates what kind of value you are returning.
E.g. if you are returning a user ID, prefix the value with 'user_id:'; if you are returning a person ID, then prefix it with 'person_id:'

YouTube does not use Adobe Reader. Videos do not use Adobe Reader.
Adobe Reader is used only to show files in a special format called "PDF".
What you are having problems with is probably Adobe Flash Player.
So, if you are trying to solve problems with Adobe Flash Player by downloading Adobe Reader, or even Adobe Acrobat, it isn't going to help you in the end. Is that what is happening (we can't really tell without screen pictures, but it seems a likely guess).

If you are an OCP, then there is only one exam required to become an OCM. It is a two-day hands-on exam that is given only a few times a year in any given country. The link to the schedule is below. In addition to the test requirement, you must complete two advanced hands-on courses (eligible courses in link below):
The two steps then are take the courses (submitting the courses to Oracle Education as part of this step) and then take (and pass) the test. You can so these in either order.

Unable to get the Approve option in Salary form

hi friends,
we are implementing payroll using UAE localisation, when i try to add new salary for an employee i am unable to get the approve option in the salary form..we are working on version 11.5.10.2..i have the given the setup steps below
HRMS Responsibility>People>assignment>salary >add New Salary..
I have attached the function the" Salary Approval" to the menu also..even we have bounsed the apache server also...still we face the same problem we are unable toget the approve option still we can see only the proposed optionand we are unable to enter the new salary for the employees...
Pleae advise your better openions to over come this..

Hi Ambarish,
There will be an option to disable and enable the print icon for a particular sap screen . SAP Screen has been designed as per business requirement only . You may reach out to your functional team or developer team to assign the required output type and form which can enable the icon .
Also check whether you have required authorization to print from SAP

The problem is that a user can by-pass the journal approval stage and post directly after submitting if Custom4 access control=All is selected.
If any of the other access controls (None, Read, Promote) for custom 4 are selected, the first two steps of the process are possible -
input and approval of the journal are possible but final posting of the journal is not and returns an error that says:
"User does not have the access right to perform this journal task"
The options I have thought for a workaround are as follows:
1.       1. Set up a 3rd user called data poster and remove submit journal role from user 1 (data inputter)
2.       2. Put in place process control and use the various review levels (could be quite time consuming given there is no time left for development)
Have anyone experienced this before and come up with a quick way of resolving this please? It would be very much appreciated.
We have two types of users who are associated with groups in HFM and have the appropriate roles assigned to them to complete their tasks,
they are:
1. A data Inputter (who inputs base data and journals, who has access to create and submit journals)
2.   2. A data reviewer (who approves journals)
The process is as follows:
1.       1. Logon as Data inputter to submit the journals
2.       2. Logon as Data reviewer to approve the journals
3.       3. Logon as Data inputter to post the Journals
We are using the custom 4 member to identify different adjustment types. At the moment we are able to set it up in such a way whereby Steps 1 and 2 can be completed

What should be specified in object reference field in the first step of sequence file in test stand

Test stand object Reference field- <The expression cannot be empty>
It is showing an error like "The .Net property can not be accessible
Object Reference not set to an instance of an object".
How it can be resolved?

using Singleton Class in .Net. So I need not create object in TestStand. The Get
property of the class will return its own class object. So the Class Reference
should be empty only.
When I
choose the property manually, I am getting this error. This I am getting only
when I create this step through C# TestStand APIs. Please help me to remove this
error in the Class Reference field using TestStand
APIs.

Changing PO in the approval step

Hi,
I need to change a PO object when the aprover is aproving it. For that I have implemented the BBP_DOC_CHANGE_BADI to change the PO. This BADI it's called not only when the object is approved but also every time the object is changed.
I need to clearly identify the moment when the object is being approved. We are using SRM 7.0 and Classic extended scenario. Does anyone have ideas about this?

The IV_MODE is set do 'X' when you are approving but when you are changing it´s also set to 'X'. So I can not use de IV_MODE.

SQL loader for empty field at the end of the line

Hi,
I have following data file for sql loader. I am using Oracle 11.2. The table structure is table_a(id number, name varchar2(32), nbr number).
1, zzzz, 123
2, bbb,
3, ccc, 33
4, ddd,
Currently, I am using "TERMINATED BY ',' " in the control file for SQL loader. However row2 and row4 were thrown into the bad file. Any suggestion for me to load row2 and row4 into the table as well?

Selecting just text fields throughout the entire document when editing forms in Acrobat Pro XI

I edit PDF's all day and it is seriously time consuming to edit the properties of text fields when you can only select a few at a time due to other elements (checkboxes, radio buttons etc.) prohibiting you from simply "Selecting All" elements and editing them all at once. I do not want to change the Appearance properties of all elements, just all of one type throughout the document. Is there a way to do this?
Long story short I would like to just edit all text fields at once, then all checkboxes at once etc.

In the form edit mode, one can order the display of the fields by "name" or "tab order".
If I sort the fields by name order and then use the control key and left mouse button, I can select various field names and the right mouse click brings up the context menu and I can then select the "Properties" option and I now have the 5 tabs for the common properties for the selected fields. I believe using the control key and the left mouse button is the usual method for selecting specific items in a window listing.

How do I exempt a FIELD from the TAB ORDER on a form

How do I make a field NOT part of the TAB ORDER? In other words, you can Tab around the page but you will never select this object. I want to create a text message that will show on the screen only but is not a field for editing.
If this is in the "help" and I've missed it, sorry. I couldn't find anything about this.

I have a form that I created with the save, print, etc buttons. I created mine as text fields rather then buttons and under Common Properties I have the Form Field set as Visible But Does Not Print, and then of course it's set under Actions to Execute a Menu Command. That does show up in the tab panel, however if you close the form editing and then go through the tab order of the form it skips right over it. The downside to this is that you have to have the Select tool in order to click and there is no mouse over, it's just a cursor like it would be in any other text field.
This is the only solution that I have found that somehow works for this.

I have a field called "first name" and one called "last name". How do I create a third field called "full name". I want it to just combine the first two. Any ideas?

hi
i need to display some empty fields in the output txt file, in between teh normal database fields i am displaying
for eg if first field is f1 (1-10)
second is f2 (11-35)
third field is empty i need todisplay as (12-45)
and again f4 as (13-60) so on
such there are multiple fields in between dattabase field which just needs to be displayed as empty only and all fields should be seperated by space as showni above eg
