Empty Palette on Windows XP

I am running Windows XP with JDK 1.4.1_04. The studio comes up with an empty Palette. Here is my log:

I'm running WinXP. The palette was empty on startup, but the components appeared after creating the first project.

Avoid to display empty report viewer window?

Hi, We use CR4E with Thick Client environment. First we prepare a report as ReportClientDocument. Then we display this with the Crystal Report thick-client viewer. According to the report parameter it is possible that the report does not find data. In this case an empty report viewer window is displayed. We want to avoid that. Is there a way to check the report if it find data or not (e.g. catch the SQL of report). Thx. Peter

Saved fields empty when 3D window activates

I've created Text Fields and Check-boxes using LiveCycle Designer in my pdf template.
I create the 3D work in Reviewer, and use the template during Export to 3D.
Using 'Extend Features in Adobe Reader' the text entries, and filled in check-boxes can be saved with the pdf using Reader.
So far this is great!
The problem comes when the pdf is opened again and the 3D window is clicked to activate.
All the completed fields empty!
This is very bad!
Is there something I can do to stop the fields clearing on 3D activation?

Empty Creative Cloud window after OS 10.9.4 update.

Since updating to Mac OS 10.9.4 I get an empty window with a spinning wheel when I open the Creative Cloud window on the desktop.

Saved text fields and check-boxes empty when 3D window activates

I've created Text Fields and Check-boxes in a pdf template, using LiveCycle Designer.
I create the 3D work in Reviewer, and use the pdf template during Export to 3D pdf.
Using 'Extend Features in Adobe Reader' the user can fill in the text fields, and click the check-boxes then save them with the pdf - just using Reader.
So far this is great!
The problem comes when the pdf is opened again and the 3D window (A3DR_3DFrame) activated.
All the completed fields empty!
This is not great at all!
I've did some tests and found that the filelds only clear if I include the Configs selection list box with the special name 'A3DR_Configs' in the template pdf. (A3DR_Configs lists the Configs stored in the 3D Reviewer file and the user can select the config from that list).
This is unfortunate, as the A3DR_Configs window is useful since it indicates to the user which 3D config is currently being viewed (ie the name of the current config stays highlighted).
Is this a bug that can be fixed or is there a workaround?

Empty speakable commands window

hello , im relatively new to mac and i think ive trashed something already! i read on one of the discussions that it was ok to get rid of things like games if i was never going to use them,which i did. I now have an empty window where there used to be some commands for speech recog.!, is it because i got rid of chess? and can i do anything about it?, my voice recog was working ok before but now nothing!, thanks.

Deleting your Chess.app would have no effect on Speech.I now have an empty window where there used to be some commands for speech recog.!If you mean that in System Preferences you have lost the icon for "Speech", I'd try trashing these 2 files:
Quit System Preferences then avigate to ~(yourHome)/Library/Caches/com.apple.preferencepanes.cache
Also ~(yourHome)/Library/Preferences/com.apple.systempreferences.plist
Then relauch System Preferences. If the problem is not the icon, let us know.

CONTACT GROUPS BOX is EMPTY in Sync Window for iPhone

Hi,
I go to the Info tab for my iPhone in iTunes to select what I want to sync.
In the Sync Contacts section I have two choices: All Contacts or Selected Groups. But Selected Groups is greyed-out and the box is empty.
I have 6 Contact folders in Outlook but none of them appear in the box so I can't select one.
How do I get them to appear in the box so I can select just one of them?

Hmmm. If you upgraded in the course of an itunes reinstall, that can sometimes set off a security software interaction. The security software has to update its rules for the new version of iTunes and so forth, and so there's an opportunity for something to start going wrong along those lines after an update.
I'd quickly check through your Norton firewall rules. Quit iTunes before doing the checking.
Is there a rule for iTunes in your Norton at the moment? If not, I'd create one, allowing full access to the internet.
If there is a rule, but it isn't allowing full access, I'd change it so that it does have full access.
If there is a rule allowing full access, I'd delete the rule and add a new one (allowing full access).
After creating and/or amending the rules, try rebooting the PC and then launching iTunes. Are you still getting the same error messages and problems?

Empty Creative Cloud window

I was on vacation and someone filling in for me messed up my software by uninstalling all of it, including creative cloud. I reinstalled it, but nothing shows up in the window and the icon in the menu bar is gray. I need this to be installed in order to reinstall all my other software, so how do I get beyond this point? What am I doing wrong?

I am sorry 19rhino49 but it is not completely clear what window you are referring too as being blank. Is this the Creative Cloud desktop application? I would recommend reviewing CC desktop lists applications as "Up to Date" when not installed - http://helpx.adobe.com/creative-cloud/kb/aam-lists-removed-apps-date.html if the Creative Cloud desktop application is not giving you the correct installation options.

Open Containing Folder give empty Launch Application window

Using CentOS 6.4, Firefox 24.2.0.
Clicking the "Open Containing Folder" icon under Downloads only opens a "Launch Application" window, prompting me to "Choose an Application". It says "This link needs to be opened with an application." It seems normally the association gets made automatically, because I've never seen this before. What's the application I'm supposed to choose?

(Problem) Grey empty Word window shows up while opening .doc or .docx files with virtual Internet Explorer 9

I've Thinapped Office 2010 Professional Plus SP2 with an Internet Explorer entry point. (Thinapp version 4.7.3)
Made some changes in the registry so .doc and .docx files will open in the virtual IE browser.

My document opens in the browser as expected but, at the same time an empty grey Word window appears at the background.
The grey window shows not all the time when opening a .docx or .doc file , this is whats so strange about it.
Sometimes when i open the .doc or .docx file it opens without the grey empty word window. It seems like it's happening randomly.
I also tested it out with .xlsx files (Excel) but this go's all well.
Before i forget, this all runs on a Windows 7 Enterprise environment.
Does anyone know what causes my problem, or can anyone help me?

On starting - empty window with no controls

When I start sql developer with:
sh sqldeveloper/sqldeveloper.sh
all I get is an empty blue backed window and my terminal shows:

I have the same same sql developer on other linux machines working fine.
The details for the problem machine are Linux/Ubuntu 7.04, SQL Developer sqldeveloper-1.1.3.2766-no-jre.zip and java-1.5.0-sun-1.5.0.11 (although have tried java 6 as well).

Why won't my links palette display any links?

Is this a common bug? The links palette will not display any links for ANY documents. They do not show as missing or broken, there is just an empty palette window.

XControls don't show up in palette

Hello All,
I have an issue with XControls, they somehow don't show up in the user.lib palette... Even if I manipulate the palette via Advanced, and select the option 'Add custom control', it let me browse to the XControl, but it is not loaded onto the palette...
Does anyone succeeded in adding XControls onto the palette?

At least in LV 8.20 the following works for me:
- go to tools -> advanced -> edit palette set...
- Select controls
- Click to user controls
- Right click on empty space in user controls window
- Select insert -> custom controls
- > Browse for the xctl file you want to add
-> Click save changes in Edit Controls and Functions Palette Set window
That's it.
