Empty Sets/Collections list in new flickr Publish setup in LR4

A member of my family has just bought a new iMac 27" with 10.8 and I have set it up from scratch rather than copying over the old system. Lightroom has always worked well and never any issues.
However, in setting up this new machine and adding in a new flickr service - it connects and authenticates without an issue and we can upload and add new sets etc but no matter what I do, it will not show the sets and collections from flickr on the local machne - it just shows "Photostream" and 0.
We have about 12,000 images on flickr so we use it quite heavily and all the set and collections have always shown up without an issue. I cannot see any reason for it not working and have checked what I could but I am sure I haven't missed anything.
Has anyone seen this issues before - thanks for any help you can offer.

Not all of the listed email recipients on my contact form are receiving the inquiries.    Muse allows me to add several email addresses separated by a semi-colon (see below from Corey Wrote) but only one of the three addresses are receiving the contact form inquiries.

Unable to set up Flickr Publish Services in LR4.1

I have tried on numerous occasions and end with the same result. After I finish setting up the parameters in the Flickr Publish Services form I receive the "Lightroom needs your permission to upload images to Flickr" I click on the "Authorize" button and then I'm taken to my account within Flickr. Once i click on the "OK, I'll authorize it" button, I'm taken to: http://lightroom://com.adobe.lightroom.export.flickr/#?oauth_token=72157630835444112-9ff8c 3faeafcb667&oauth_verifier=84249d3a8099d4dd, where I get another pop up window that says "This web page cannot be displayed"

You will need to have different configuration in each service.bat file as the SVCNAME must be unique across multiple instances, for example:
JBoss Server 1 service.bat config:
set SVCNAME=CCP_RC
set SVCDISP=CCP - RequestCenter

JBoss Server 2 service.bat config:
set SVCNAME=CCP_SL

Set price list for new invoice

When creating a new invoice for a customer, Is there a way to specify which price list to get the prices from either for the invoice or for the invoice line? I want to have the option to use a price list that is different from the customers default.

If you are using GUI, you may click the Form Settings, then you can change the price list. Then you can start to enter the items.....

So it turns out that SharePoint Designer is the only way to accomplish this. You have to go into the page in Designer, edit the page, and select the Insert tab from the ribbon -> New Item Form -> select "CUSTOM LIST FORM..." (not one of the pre-populated
lists or you will get the barebones default content type!) -> Choose the list for the form you want to show and the content type, click OK -> Save the page in SP Designer and it will now show on the page embedded as a form. Success!

Can the Flickr Publish Service upload to existing Sets?

When publishing photos to Flickr, can I specify the photo to be put in a specific set within Flickr, i.e., photo publishes to my photostream and I want to place the photo into my "Ravelry set?"
How can I accomplish this or do I have to manually go into Flickr and add the photo to a specific set?

Not to confuse things by contradicting Brett, but I just tried this, and it works fine for me. Payne1904, try this:
1. Set up your Flickr publish service in Lightroom.
2. In the header of the Publish Services panel in Lightroom, click the "+" button and in the Flickr section, choose "Create Photoset".
3. Name the Photoset the exact name of the existing Photoset that you want the photos to go into.
4. Add photos to the Photoset in Lightroom, and click "Publish".
The photos will be added to the existing Photoset on Flickr. Let me know if this doesn't work.

How do I set numbered lists for headings in Pages 5.2, and keep that system of numbered lists saved?

I have tried to set numbered lists for headings in Pages 5.2 but have not succeeded. I have read similar questions concerning this but this has not helped me...
When I say numbered lists I mean something extremely important and simple, for instance:
1. Introduction
1.1. Background
1.2. Purpose and Questions
2. The Legality of Clause X
2.1. Legality under Article 101.1
2.2. Legality under Article 101.3
And so on...
Heading 1. is selected as "Heading", 1.1 is selected as "Heading 2", and if I had 1.1.1 it would be selected as "Heading 3" and so on...
I have navigated my way to the Format window, and under the tab "Style" and down to "Bullets & Lists". I have here selected the following: Numbered, Numbers, 1. 2. 3. 4., Tiered Numbers, Continue from previous.
There are several problems with this currently.
First, based on the example it becomes "2. Background" when it should be "1.1 Background" instead.
Second, after writing some body text between the headings and then select a new heading, all the previously selected settings I mentioned above in "Bullets & Lists" have to be reselected.
So, how do I set numbered lists for headings, or so called sub-headings, in Pages 5.2? And how do I keep that selected system of numbered lists saved so I don't have to retype it for every new heading I type? (e.g. so that Pages knows that every time I choose Heading 2, I want it to number the heading in the way selected)
Obviously, manually writing the numbers for every heading is not a viable option, as it makes table of contents problematic and is simply tedious. You need an automatic way of doing it, especially if you write long documents where keeping headings in order is absolutely essential.
Also, reverting back to previous Pages versions (like v. 9 I think?) is not an option as that does not exist on my recently purchased Macbook Pro.
I need to be able to do this on Pages 5.2 and do it automatically.
I appreciate any help with this.

iWork '09 is not "outdated" it still works and works extremely well and whilst not perfect with MsWord it is far far better than Pages 5.2 which has a stream of major issues with exporting. It is also way better and faster to use than Microsoft Office.
So what is your time and work actually worth? If it is less than $19.99 for 6 months, you may as well just chuck it in and take that job on minimum wages.
You are assuming things for Office 2014 with absolutely no inside knowledge. Much as we assumed Pages 5 was going to be the long awaited improvement, but ended up being a downgrade to match the iOS version, Microsoft is headed the same way with their mobile versions.
This is not like getting the "latest" pair of pants where you go with the crowd and throw out your cigarette legs which replaced the flares, which replaced your low cuts which replaced your cigarette legs, which replaced…

If it does the job and does it well, use it. There is nothing out there to really match what Pages '09 does. Yet.
LibreOffice can do most but not all, but has a UI that only a mother could love. It's great redemption is that it uses both open formats and the standard Microsoft formats and is under active development. It also opens and saves to just about everything. When they finally work out the Pages formats, I'm sure they will open those as well.
I use a lot of professional software. Just because the publisher's marketing department says change the product so we can sell more, doesn't mean you have to pay any attention whatsoever. Adobe being a classical example. Most designers are just ignoring their latest subscription based bloatware and getting on with their work.

List.clear() outside of List finalList = new ArrayList(); will delete element in finalList?

I am using 3 ArrayLists.
the first is List<String>
the second is List<String[]>
and the third is a list of those lists List<List>
I use the first list to get the string I need, but I use the second for String.split.
I then need to keep a list of these to use, so I need the third List.
After adding the second list to the list of lists I want to clear it so I can set up the next list to be added, but if I do list.clear(); it will delete everything in that list.
If I do not clear it, it is fine.
At first I wasn't sure if it was my fault, because I'm not sure if I ever had to do that before, so I made a test case that yields the result if I change the element outside.

With this I yield an empty array element, even though my array elements exist. I tried using multiple lists and I just had multiple empty elements.

Correct - you are just working with multiple references to the SAME set of objects.
Use 'remove' to remove an element from a list and then 'add' to add it to the other list.

Cfdirectory returns empty set despite full permissions?

I am porting a coldfusion application from 32-bit ubuntu to 64-bit and have run into an odd snag. For some reason, I am able to perform file operations in a directory but am completely unable to get a directory listing using cfdirectory.
The CF server is Ubuntu 10.04 64-bit running coldfusion mx7. It is joined to active directory using centrify express, and has the centrify samba package installed instead of regular samba. The directories in question actually reside on windows servers - Windows Server 2003 and 2008. The shares are mounted on the CF server using the following lines in fstab:

   Coldfusion jrun process is running as root. The directories are browsable with no apparent problems when logged in via ssh. Coldfusion can create new files in directories with cffile, and FileExists works with one of the files I'm trying to list, but cfdirectory always returns an empty list. I tried using the undocumented FileInfo="name" option to avoid running java's stat() command, but that yielded an empty set as well.
After getting some advice on Experts Exchange, I tried getting a directory listing with java:

Just to confirm: you're getting (basically ~) the same results with Java file operations as you are with CF's?
That being the case, you might be better of rephrasing your question on expert-sex-change to be more Java-centric: ultimately it'll be a Java issue, and the Java community is much bigger than CF's. Additionally, stackoverflow might be a better place to post?
Are you in the position to install a dev version of CF9 in the same environment and test if that works any better?

Foxfire won't let me open a new tab. I have my setting set to open a new tab. I've clicked on it and nothing happens. I've right clicked and selected open new tab and nothing happens. When I go to Foxfire for help it will open a new tab for help. When I try to use this tab to browse, anything in the other window gets shut down.

1. In the Tools menu select Add-ons to open the add-ons manager.
2. In the Add-ons manager select the Extensions panel
3. In the list of Extensions click on Ask Toolbar, then click the Uninstall button
4. Restart Firefox and the Ask toolbar will be uninstalled.

Trying to set up my brand new MacBook Pro and it does not connect with the wifi network I have selected for this purpose. Nothing wrong with the wifi as both my iPad and iPhone are happily connected. Suggestions for connecting to the wifi network accepted

Setting up my brand new MacBook Pro and it will not connect to the wifi network. Nothing wrong with the network which is happily working for my iPhone and iPad! Suggestions accepted for making this connection.

Fixing this is a two step process:
1) System preferences > WiFi/Airport ...
... check [√] Ask to join new networks
"Known networks will be joined automatically.
If no known networks are available, you will
be asked before joining a new network."
2) Remove unwanted networks from the list of "known" networks under
System preferences > WiFi/Airport > (Advanced) > | Airport/WiFi pane ...
Close the window and save changes. If no joy, do a restart to ensure you are playing under the new rules.

Installing updated Master Collection on a new computer

I started with Master Collection 3 and eventually updated to version 5. I am planning on buying a new computer with Windows 7 (current is Windows XP.) Would I be able to reinstall my Master Collection on the new computer with no problems from Adobe?

was correct and identical from all individuals and the official document
below from Adobe confirms it. It was not a matter of trust or otherwise, but
I needed to see it in black and white before plunging into buying a new
expensive computer, which now I can do. Here is a copy of the relevant
information of the License agreement in regards to the issue discussed:

By the way, one of the main reasons for buying a new computer is because my

Another Flickr Publish Bug?

I have no objection to the images I upload to Flickr being accessbile to public searches.
Yet every time I publish or republish a photo, Flickr's setting ... "It is hidden from public searches" seems to get set for each image - even if I manually override for an individual image using the Flickr Web interface and then republish from LR it gets set back to this state - see below...
I have set my Flickr user profile with ...
so I don't think this behaviour is being caused by Flickr...
and I cannot see any settings at the LR Flickr Publishing settings which would cause this ...
Any help in either correcting my lack of understanding or confirming it a bug would be appreciated.

I can confirm the bug in LR 3.0, it happens every time I republish.
There is at least one other annoying problem caused by republishing. If you have posted the photo into a group thread (by copying and pasting the HTML), the link from the thread back to the photo gets broken when you republish. It shows up as "This photo is currently unavailable".
I haven't downloaded LR 3.2RC yet to see if these issues have been fixed.

Click the orange Firefox button, and click "Options". This will bring up a new window with a "Tabs" tab at the top. Click that. There will be several checked boxes, including one called "Open new windows in a new tab instead" up at the top of the list. Uncheck that box and you should be good to go.
ETA: This should also work if you click "Tools" and "Options" within your version.

Interfaces don't have any implementation; they're pure method signatures. When a concrete class implements an interface, it makes a promise that says "I will provide implementations for exactly these methods. Any client can call a method from the interface and I will do something 'sensible' if I'm written correctly."
From the point of view of static and dynamic types, there's no difference between interfaces and classes.
C++ has interfaces, too - they're classes with all pure virtual methods. If you understand how C++ works, the concept shouldn't be hard.
ArrayList is preferred precisely because it isn't synchronized by default. (You can always make it so using java.util.Collections if you wish later on.) If you don't need synchronization, why pay the performance penalty?
